My Latest Advisory Is Ready

The Attention Age Doctrine ready!

Well, to say the last few weeks have been crazy is an understatement. It’s all worth it though because the response is already overwhelming. I’m confident it will be the most important document you read all year.

As I type this blog post, I am being told by the office that our servers are already being over taxed with people downloading my latest document “The Attention Age Doctrine.” Sorry, thought we were all set… we even upgraded all or services for this release because we knew it was going to overshadow the original manifesto.

As your read my advisory, you’ll see that I have included a chance to win PERSONAL advice with several marketing legends. It’s a great chance to show off your marketing chops. You’ll have chance to win cash… and a chance to show off your marketing skill. Plus, who knows what that could do for your business!

All the details are in the Doctrine.

I now need to take a break so I can wrap up the finishing touches on my live seminar we’re doing in two weeks here in South Florida. I’ll be unveiling the strategies I’ve developed to help online business owners to profit from our new Attention-Deficit society.

Now it’s time you got down to some serious reading.

I really want you to get the most from The Doctrine, so print it out, grab a cold drink and your trusty highlighter and make yourself comfortable.

Then get ready for the ride of your life.

And please share your thoughts after reading “The Attention Age Doctrine” by posting your comments here:

Tell Me: What’s Holding You Back?

02/25/2007 | 545 Comments

Hey Guys,

I have a quick favor to ask of you.

But before we get into that I just want to point out that, in the last 24 hours alone, roughly 6,231 people have watched my latest video, “Startup To Freedom”. I seems as though people are starting to send the video to their friends and family.

So not only could you learn a lot from the video, but you could also look at it as a lesson in viral marketing! Cool.

Now since my inbox has been flooded with questions and comments about momentum, I want to try and answer them the best they can. But before I do that, I want you to submit a question to my blog so that I can have a clear picture of the common obstacles that are preventing people from gaining momentum.

Here is the question I’d like you to answer:

Q:What is the biggest obstacle that is preventing you from gaining the momentum you need to bring your business to the next level?

Submit your answer on this post…

And yes this means you!

It will only take 30 seconds, and it will help you identify the constraint that is preventing you from growing your business.

Then, later on this week, I’ll be releasing something that will address the common obstacles you’re facing. I already have some ideas, based on the feedback so far, but I’m very interested in hearing from you.

I’m looking forward to your feedback.

Explode Your Profits Almost Overnight

Hey Guys,

Here’s a concept that can make you a TON of money.

It’s called visitor value.

Now, you’ve PROBABLY heard of visitor value before.

But I want to explain why you’re probably not paying as much attention to it as you should.

As you know, I’m a big fan of metrics. I think it’s important to measure and improve everything you do.

Even if you don’t measure everything all the time, it’s good to establish benchmarks to see how well things are performing in your business.

Back to visitor value.

The reason visitor value is so important is that it gives you a bottom line figure that you can use to
measure the effectiveness of your business. But wait, there’s more!

By focusing on increasing your visitor value, you’ll be improving all aspects of your business.

You’ll have to offer better products, that in turn deserve higher price points.

You’ll have to write better sales copy to increase conversion of visitors into buyers.

You’ll have to offer up-sells and cross-sells to drive up visitor value even higher.

And what happens when you start doing these things?

You start acting like a real business.

While you may think visitor value is just a number, there’s much more behind it. Multiple dimensions of profit can be discovered if you know how to analyze this critical metric.

We’ve only touched the surface of visitor value, so if you’re not currently tracking it, then you should figure out how, as soon as possible.

And if you are tracking visitor value, then make a list with 20 ideas on how you can increase it, then
pick the top three and start implementing them immediately.

To Higher Profits,
Rich Schefren

P.S. A lot of people are asking how to get into my coaching programs. But the short answer is there are no open spots at this time. I’ll be making a few structural changes (to accomodate for my newer, more powerful material) and when I’m ready, I’ll open the doors again. So stay tuned, but until then, I suggest you take a look at your visitor value!

Analyzing Your Current Reality

11/17/2006 | 17 Comments

Hey Guys,

I hope you’re doing well!

And I hope you’re implementing some (or hopefully MANY) ideas from my recent reports.

Now as you probably know by now, the launch was NOT what I expected.

As usual, I’m writing something up that I think you’ll find very interesting (which you can then turn into business profit).

I don’t want to go into detail here, but what I’m about to reveal will be something that you’ve never heard from a well know marketing personality.

It’s all about analyzing what works and what doesn’t.

And facing the current reality can be one of the biggest challenges that any business owner can have.

So for now, please review the Internet Business Manifesto, The Missing Chapter, and The Final Chapter.

If you study these documents carefully, especially the sections on planning and strategy, then you may be able to discern what’s coming. 😉

To Higher Profits,
Rich Schefren

P.S. The main lesson in this post is that there are probably things in your business that you’re not “owning up to”. These might be problems or issues that you just don’t want to face. They must be addressed. Your profits will thank you for doing so.

How To Get V-I-P Access

10/30/2006 | 92 Comments

Hey Guys,

It’s ALMOST here.

I’ve been putting the finishing touches on the Internet Wealth Alliance, and things are just about ready to Rock and Roll!

Since so many of you have shown SIGNIFICANT interest in the program, I am providing a V-I-P Pass that allows you an HOUR head start to evaluate the offer and join the program.

This will allow those who have ALREADY made the decision to buy, NEARLY guaranteed access.

Some of you will need a little extra time to decide, and this will give you a few extra few minutes, without having to worry about missing your opportunity to join.

——————————————————–

TO GET ON THE “V-I-P” List:

1.) Watch your inbox at 2PM Eastern Time Tomorrow.

2.) Grab one of the 1500 passes, before they’re gone!

——————————————————–

Now, there is one last thing to clarify.

People are anticipating a VERY HIGH price point.

I can assure you, it will NOT be five figures, as some of you have speculated. It will be affordable for those who are SERIOUS about taking their game to the next level.

Remember, if you want an hour head start, be sure you pay CLOSE attention to your inbox tomorrow.

Answering The Most Pressing Question

10/29/2006 | 23 Comments

Hey Guys,

November 1st is ALMOST here.

So I want to take this opportunity to clear up the MOST frequent question that I’ve been getting about the Internet Wealth Alliance.

IS the program for beginners?

Answer: YES, the program is suitable for newbies. But here’s the CATCH…

The program is designed to teach you the invisible factors that are CRITICAL to know in order to build a multi million dollar, online business.

It’s not necessarily the program that will teach you the technical aspects of how to setup a website. While we will provide you with software that will help you do this (if you need), please understand that it will not be the central focus of the program.

Another question that I’ve been getting is about the price of the program. Here’s what some people are speculating:

“I was prepared for a $25k price tag on this one, but $50k seems a little steep to me. But I understand the essential need to keep the alliance free from those who will drag it down. Maybe Rich will set on a price somewhere in the middle.”

I think you’ll be relieved to know that while we’ve considered price points in this range, we’ve decided to make it MUCH more affordable.

Finally, availability.

While we have not made any official decisions… …please understand that the program WILL be limited.

Also, keep in mind that there are approximately 30,107 serious entrepreneurs who are EAGERLY anticipating the launch of the program, which means it WILL sell out VERY quickly.

If, on Wednesday, you would like a chance to join the program before the general public, (in order to beat the crazy rush) then pay CLOSE attention to your inbox over the next few days.

Power Of Planning

03/10/2006 | 1 Comment

As any successful business person knows, you can kill yourself trying to grow your company. You invest and immerse yourself wholly without direction until you’ve stretched yourself so thin that you’re no longer productive in any aspect of your work.

If only you had planned your day better…

By forecasting an orderly work schedule, you’ll preserve both your valuable time and your sanity. Unfortunately, most people start each day off in a fury of tasks and deadlines – without a plan on how to get things done efficiently.

It’s a known fact that stress is a killer. You can wear yourself out mentally and physically by tending to the daily tasks your company demands. Or, you can learn how to plan for tomorrow and realize an even greater success – one that you can enjoy as it happens.

When people don’t plan, they react to their environment… usually in a negative way. How many times have you gone into the office and felt irritated about something someone else has done… or not done?

Productivity requires a positive attitude. If you’re constantly reacting to deadlines, tasks you hadn’t planned on popping up, or other people’s interference with your day, then you’ll be too caught up in the stress of it all to make formidable decisions that will help propel your profits upward.

There has to be a fine balance between planning your day and being flexible enough to handle the unexpected. It would be even worse to have every minute of your day scheduled and then find that something has thrown it off kilter.

You don’t want to paralyze yourself with your planning, but instead use it as a guide – a path to help you get from point A to point B.

Planning doesn’t require a lot of time. You simply have to map it out the night before. It might be okay to set long-term goals, too – but you’ll be better able to schedule your day if you do it the previous night, when you’re more aware of your company’s immediate needs.

Make a comprehensive to-do list. That doesn’t mean every single thing will get done the next day, but you want to have it on paper so that you’ll be able to give it attention at some point.

Every item on your to-do list should have a plan of action. When you know how to get something done, you won’t have to sit there thinking about your next step, which would be a waste of time.

Make a quick estimate of how much time each task in a plan of action will take – to give yourself an idea of how long it will take you to complete that single item on your to-do list.

If any of the tasks require a resource you don’t have at your fingertips, then add the time it will take for you to acquire and set up that tool into your final estimate. You don’t want to underestimate the time it will take you to cross something off of your to-do list.

The reason for this is when you fail to meet your self-imposed deadlines, it can create even more stress than if you had simply worked without a plan in place. While you might want to be Superman for a day, it won’t always happen… things are bound to present themselves as obstacles to your success.

If there are more people connected to the company – from employees to contracted labor – define their roles within the company structure so that some of the tasks can be designated for them to handle.

As you create each tasks, determine what it would cost for you to complete it. For instance, if your time is worth $100/hour, and you’re wasting an hour filling out forms that someone else could do for $8/hour, then you’re losing $92 an hour in profit.

Your time need to be planned out so that you are maximizing your talents but also doing tasks that will have the highest return for your investment of each and every hour. Adding to the above example, your hour could have been used to develop an ad campaign that results in a high conversion rate of traffic to your website.

Don’t forget to add personal goals and time to your schedule. You want it to be flexible enough so that if there’s a family emergency, or if you simply need a break from it all, you won’t throw the entire business into a tailspin just because you’re not physically or mentally involved with the business 24-hours a day.
