LIVE Streaming Video Discussion Thread

UPDATE: Sorry for the delay, we couldn’t login to WordPress because of overwhelming traffic.

Hey Guys,

If you made it here, then I you are coming from a link on my live video stream…

I will admit it right here – this is really a bit of a grand experiment. We are operating at the bleeding edge of technology with this stream.

As I type I am at the back of the conference room, and there is all kinds of activity happening around me. My entire team is scrambling to make sure we have everything in place. We go live in about 17 minutes.

So let the big experiment begin… and let the discussion begin. Please let me know what you think about the presentation and the entire experience. I want your feedback – the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Enjoy!

Rich

  1. This is great. Especially the straight-to-the-point comments about the focus of your business at the start to get momentum. AND, how this impacts on the decision making process.

    Thanks a million Rich!

Yuck! I do hope you’re recording this for all of us that exeperienced this problem today.

    Thanks for letting me “vent”…

  4. Hey Guys!

I’m missing you! My connection was dropped. It’s so difficult to do cutting-edge techy stuff. But … you all are changing the face of the Internet and pushing boundaries forward. I really wish I was there to see it happening though.

I hope there will be a MP3 of the Startup to Freedom seminar. Much more success to you.

  7. Hello Rick,

I am watching the live seminar right now. TOTALLY AWSOME.. I can sit here in my office chair and attend your conference, live. I have to say that the red text is blurred out, so anything written in red, on your screen, is not legible. The white and yellow text is clear though.

Thank you for making this available to those of us out here in cyberspace.

  8. Hi, I suspect you have overstepped your reach. I have heard only about 1 minute of talk, video, in the last 35 minutes. My system tested great and have cable so I can receive good signals. Sad to report your content is lost to me.

  9. Amazing use of technology.

Now if you could engineer a way to meet attendees and do joint ventures like you can at a live seminar we could all stop travelling all over the world for these events.

Well as I write this I am able to hear bits and pieces and so I will try hanging on and maybe hear at least a small portion of what is said.

  12. Rich,

I very much wanted to participate in your live streaming video today and have spent the last two hours frantically searching for the link to do so, but without success. Apparently, I never received a link, even though I signed up more than once over a 2 1/2 week period. Needless to say, I am very disappointed. I am a prime candidate for your coaching, as I have read everything you’ve written and am well aware of its quality. I have the money all ready to sign up for your new coaching program and was hoping to do so today after watching your presentation. I would still ask that you save me a spot in your new coaching program. One good thing in all of this: in my hunt for your link I discovered your affiliate program and signed up for it. Thanx.

  16. Due to the size of the video window, the slides are mostly unreadable. It would be nice if a separate link to them was included with the email linking to the login page for the presentation. I know folks don’t always want all the slides available before or during their presentation, but it’s annoying to not be able to see them if you’re watching online. Hopefully, this will be remedyed the next time. Thank you so much for riding the bleeding edge with this seminar. In spite of the frustration, the presentation is excellent.

My guess is that he’ll get into the real meat of the issue AFTER the free portion of this, and you need to sign up for the program ($397 per month — 100 member limit) to get the REAL stuff.

Nevertheless, Rich is a very wise and intelligent man. Well worth spending the time to listen to.

They seem to be written to folks who either have their businessses built to the point that it will pay for outsoutcing, or to someone who has the capital to cookie-cutter the various aspects of their business from the outsset. Either way, your information is valid for any serious businesss person who is in or may eventualy reach one of these happy circumstances.

For those of you that do have the code but can’t connect in, maybe you could give your code to one of these other people to give them a chance? At least that way it won’t go to waste!

It’s 1:51 here now and it’s a little bit better. Basically right now he’s talking about how we try to do everything ourselves and end up turning our dream of not working 9 to 5 into another 9-5 job (or worse) because we can’t release ourselves from it.

I received your email 1 hour ahead of time and promptly went to the site and tested both the Real Player and Windows Media because I could not afford to miss anything!

One question… I have been checking out WingateWeb Event Console to put on a similar event as you are doing. Are there other Consoles you can suggest?

The audio is very clear but the video is not very clear. It is too dark and it is even difficult to see crisp features of the text or your face.

  45. Hi Rich

I can’t ‘see’ what’s happening, in spite of having the latest ‘everything’, browsers, media viewers, OS, etc.

Sure, I’m using a 64-bit OS (Win XP Pro x64), but that’s been around for 18 months or more, and still RealPlayer won’t install to it.

    I have a 3.2 Ghz Pentium 4, with 2 Gb RAM

I have WMP v.11, IE7, FF v.1.5.0.9, and I still can’t access your ‘webcast’, regardless of which option I choose.

    Profanity warning!!!!

WTF. Can’t your ‘streaming’ company handle modern-day operating systems!!???

I do hope that a ‘downloadable video’ is going to be available for those of us who have been unable to view the ‘live’ event.

Why can’t you resize this tiny 4.5*4.1 inches window the stream is coming through? Or why don’t you stream directly to the Window Media Player (where I can resize it). This tiny window somehow diminishes the experience – sorry to say

  50. So far, you’ve defined the problem. Staff, automate, outsource to grow. There’s no need to go on and on about this. It should take a couple of minutes. At 45 minutes into your presentation, I’m bored and you are wasting my time.

What’s the solution? A $2,000 program? This is another time waster, sales job.

  51. I just signed up for your upcoming Internet Business Coaching program. This was not an impulse decision – well, sort of. I’ll explain. I have read your manifestos. I have watched other videos with your presentations and have been hearing about you in lots of places on the web.

I have signed up for other “coaching” programs that turned out to be little more than a phone call now and then and downloads of tons of mp3’s. While the mp3’s had valuable content for people who haven’t spent tons of time learning through trial and error, they were costly and disappointing for what I am looking for.

I like the fact that you are coaching the business, not the techniques. That’s what I really need. So I am excited to be a part of this coaching program.

  52. Rich,
I was unable to participate. Firstly, in your e-mail of February 5, you said, in part, “Watch your email later this week for details on how you can get a virtual seat at my upcoming live streaming video seminar.” It didn’t happen. So far as I can tell, that was the last e-mail I received from you.

It’s problematic, anyway. My elderly neighbor’s house burned overnight, with him and his beloved dog inside. They’ve got him in intensive care, and we were at the vet’s this morning with the dog (she’ll make it; too soon to tell about him). The upshot is, with all that was going on, the webinar didn’t cross my mind until ten minutes ago.

Will there be a make up?

Anyway – so far it is interesting but it seems to mirror the presentation in the Manifesto series. So this is another sales presentation. Nicely done. Arthur Anderson ay? This is long by about an hour or so.

Most of what is being disbursed is business 101. I guess there are a lot of folks that are on the net that didn’t pursue higher business education.

Lots of technical glitches also but a nice use of the technology. Is Alan Bechtold watching?

I like his presentation skills, solid delivery – makes sense, no-nonsense guy with useful content. I wish more of the “internet marketing gurus” were like this, with decent content and no pitching.

As always, I study the marketing PROCESS to see how to use it in my own businesses, re urgency for watching since it’s live (vs recorded), and genuine content, it’s good stuff and worth watching.

Rich has many wonderful suggestions on how to run your business and time management but I’ve become disappointed. I’m going to get a cold glass of water but I’ll still listen for anything new. My time is very tremendous, just as Rich just stated. You should not let anyone steal your time. I cancelled a very important meeting today for this event.

This is an extension of the Manifesto. The manifesto is great. I’m quite leery of spending $395 per month for additional info.

If I had an extra 400.00 a month to listen to the same crap that I’ve received from all the other ‘gurus’, I wouldn’t need the help. When is there going to be someone out there that actually can help the common man without robbing him blind at the same time. I understand that these guys know how to make money, but do they really need to bilk more out of people that are just starting out. If you’re already rich, why do you have to get richer?

I tested out high on the internet connection everything else was green on the test. I remove everything I had running on my desktop and couldn’t improve on the buffering. Not sure if it was the number of feeds or just a bad internet connection for continuous live feed. Hopefully this can be dowloaded at a future date.

  71. Presentations like this one help to reiterate information about growing a business. Sure, Rich is using information included in the Manifesto, but unless you have tripled your income in 6 months, it’s a great chance to have the message reinforced.

It has reminded me that there are a number of parts in the Manifesto that could do with going over on a regular basis.

Being a single mother for 12 years I understand time management, working hard, designation of duties etc. I really was excited when pipeline profits was being offered..little by little you got a bit more information..when opened I felt so totally defeated..by the COST..This is meant for those who have established themselves with some service or product to offer. I personally do not have nearly $3000.00 to just throw out there. What we commoners need is exactly the name of your vidoe stream here..From startup to freedom. Also $397.00 per month for Discover the Business Growth system is phenomenal. I dont get why those who are making money only help those who are already making money. There are alot of us here who would just like to get started doing the same thing. I am totally disappointed. Your video streaming is great though.

  74. I believe that we learn by repetition and master a skill by more repetition which is good. Whatever that Rich provided is great, but get listeners to tune in at a live event to listen to repetitive stuff is not very effective for everyone. Unless there are much clearer and better illustrations compared to the previous videos, the event should not be over sold. For instance, I am currently in a timezone that is 3.30 am in the morning and I believe it is not a time to listen to repetitive stuff.

  75. I thank you. Its a great way of watching a seminar. I’ve had no problems viewing, had to load RP within 10min prior to broadcast so I can appreciate others challenges.

I can appreciate why he is talking about all the basics of having a busn , how much our time is worth etc etc but none of this has really gotten into how to develop or steamline an existing busn after 1:30min. I guess my expectations were different.

This is a time management seminar. Great info as far as that goes.

What I don’t appreciate is how people making millions can’t appreciate a busn like mine, not a “job”, where my priorities are much different than his. I could be out helping a friend right now rather than sitting and listening to something that could have been downloaded and watched at less valuable part of the day. He is talking about the value of my time, but mid afternoon is “prime” time, 2 hours after 9PM are less valuable, ie I have the time to sit for 2 hours to watch this, no other demands on my time.

I do thank you for setting this up. It is really cool how the net has changed things.

To all those who have heard this before and say he is just going over old ground – have you implemented what he has said? It reminds me of the church pastor who gave the same sermon every week. After a few weeks one of the congregation approached him and said “Pastor, why do you keep preaching the same message every week?” The pastor smiled and said, “When you all start listening to the message and taking action, I’ll move on to the next one”

Rich is offering a free two hour presentation – of course he is going to focus on the basics. Yes, he will be selling his coaching program, but unless you have followed what he has said here, you are up to speed with his focus and these basics and are prepared to “take action” there is no point you going any further.

Funny how only successful people are part of Rich’s coaching program.

I paraphrase for sake of the point…..

If you are already successful you can afford the money per month. If you are not already successful then you will have to wait until you are to afford Rich’s help.
Don’t get me wrong.. This is fantasatic information and definatley info that I am happy to see for free..

  79. Someone asked for feedback from a course member:
I am pretty good at absorbing new information, buying new tools, info, etc, but to date not good at taking action to transform the knowledge into busineess momentum.
Rich has forced me to honestly re-consider my lack of success, my lack of strategic focus, and my fear of success.
The course is great value for me.
If you just want to be negative, and make excuses, then you’ll go nowhere.
If you want to be honest about the fact that you have caused most of the problems in your unsuccessful business, then you will have begun to address the need to evaluate your business objectively.
    Sure, it is challenging.
Sure, it is difficult to change your thinking.
But if you are not succeeding, then you have no choice.
After you understand that, and become open to persuasion, then the ego roadblock dissipates, and then the details of Rich’s thinking can get traction, and make a difference.
Until you let him help you, them you’ll cling to helping yourself.
Which in most cases is the problem.
Re-read the Manifesto, or anything else Rich talks about, and you’ll see that ‘you’ is the weakest part of your business until you realise it.
Then you become the strongest part of the business, but you do it differently.
Rich’s course can only help you if you let it. It’s your choice.
    Thanks Rich.

If you aren’t mentally prepared for success I don’t care what strategies you try you will still not achieve your greatest success. As mentioned previously, The slides are very blurry and they move off the screen way to fast resulting in not being able to read them or take good notes. Also, the type size is way too small for the video window.

Will these slides be available to review later and will this be rebroadcast or available to watch online. I have many business owners that need this info and would love the chance to learn from you.

Great intro from Mike Filsaime explaining how you helped him realise the importance of systems, hiring staff and getting his/our office out of his/our home(s).

As one who has been through the process you and the other guru types have been through…of working more hours and having less freedom = a job.

I applaud you for sharing so freely “read free webcast” of your solution(s) to the above problem.

Most newbie net marketers have no idea this is his/her future.

And most marketers presently having success are so caught up in the grind that until they stop and take a look around at what their present reality is.

They have little chance of ever attaining that which they originally set their intention to be = FREEDOM

Oh yeah, then there was the difference between outsourcing and out-tasking – oh yeah and, and, and…. I look forward to working with you in the future.

  108. Thanks Rich for your non compromising clarity and uncomfortable straitforward teaching. We live embedded within systems and thanks to systems (our body, ecosystems in nature, the cosmos etc.) and I thank you that you’ve brought that approach to understanding more than business, entrepreneurship. I’ve felt stopped in my attempt to initiate myself as entrepreneur, mainly because a lack of clarity about what exact meaning certain values had for me. A few months ago in my search I realised I didn’t want to be a solo-preneur (what you say self-employed) because that was boring and started to miss going back to the job in the company I had left. I had idealised freedom from a shadow aspect of myself that don’t want to take responsibility for things or people -even my time. After much reflection, and your added wisdom, I’ve realised that freedom lies in making commitments and dependability. I am not more free as self-employed -eventhough no boss is over my shoulder- if I am not free of the patterns that control my behaviour and my decisions on how I use my time and in which direction I set my mind to focus in a productive way. Any other “but” is just excuses and, more important, does not make me happier or more satisfied with myself. So, taking responsibility and breaking courageously through the fears that keep me unaware of my core truth is the way to prosper, either back to the company or becoming a business owner -something I don’t see I’m prepared to be right now. Accepting my place within a system and participating fully and with gratitude is the way that I see can keep me away of the vicious loop -either the complaining or self-important ego. Still, I’ve a question: some friend who is a regional manager in an international firm says his clients are responsive mainly to him because of the trust they have developed on him. So, in customer relations, being YOU is sometimes the reason for customers’ loyalty. The brand, the image of this company is worked day in and day out by this manager’s ability. How not to acknowledge then the importance of YOU in a business role? Many thanks and congratulations! Got excellent service (techno: video, sound; slides download; acces to blog..everything).

The video and audio were top quality here in the UK and I did not suffer any interruptions at all. It took about 10 minutes to log on in the first place, but once I was in everything worked perfectly.

As many people have noted on this comments thread, the slides really did not work as part of the video – far too hard to read the white and the red was impossible.

Video came through uninterupted. I think the combo of slides and live streaming video might have been presented better via GoToWebinar.com or maybe even HotConference.com. I agree that black outfit against black curtain has got to go (next time) unless the dancing head and hands were part of the “hypnosis to point of sale”. 🙂 In 2007, Web “Events” may replace teleseminars and cut into live events attendance. Uh oh, there goes my “Seminars-At-Sea” cruise business!

As the self-admitted poorest time-manager on the planet, I’m still successful in 2 businesses that would make me 10 times wealthier if I delegated more and started my day before noon once in a while.

    Yet, I have to admit:

The BEST and most PRICELESS part of my life is all the wonderful time that I enjoy WASTING each day! (Because I CAN). 🙂

  132. Rich-

Thank you so much for inviting me to this event. The connection was awesome! I used Windows Media Player with IE. I did have a hard time reading the slides (possibly because the window was so small) and the red, especially, was extremely blurred. Didn’t have any volumne problems at all.
I did download the slides after the presentation-didn’t know that I would need them during the presentation…lol

Most of the content was in the Manifesto, the Missing Chapter or the Final Chapter, BUT it was great to HEAR it from the author, and actually watch his presentation of the information.

I am not in a financial position to sign up for your course. I am just starting my own business and this has given me a good foundation, although the mentoring would definitely be an added bonus. Also, the Discover the Business Growth System is way out of reach for us beginners, trying to start our own businesses.

Once again, thanks for the video presentation, Rich.

Today is the beginning of the rest of my life! The webinar was a success from all perspectives. Windows live delivered, the sound was crisp, the graphics was great, except for the red fonts that must be refrained from in the future. It was also clearer in the insert form as opposed to the full screen version.

I believe that reading the Manifesto before hand helped me connect better with this presentation. I had wanted to post another comment after reading the Manifestor but just didn’t have the time. I’ll combine my thoughts here. The bottom line – the Manifesto revealed to me that I had a business before , and now what I have is a gruelling job. I used to employ 14 people in a manufacturing and distribution environment and made US$110,000 my first year in business 23 years ago. But I live in a country where devaluation erodes constantly the true value of your business worth. Thus, although the business grew at a minimum of
10% per annum, in real terms we were stuck at circa $100,000. When businesses were closing all around us we were able to survive because the brand that we marketed and still do, was created and founded by us. When I became a single mom, my focus shifted to protecting my son in a crime-filled environment and my business gradually became a ‘job’, as I made plans to move to greener pastures.
I didn’t realise the semantics until reading the Manifesto, as I talk about wanting to switch careers by venturing into Internet Marketing.

I would like to be coached by Rich but I suddenly realise that I don’t have a business. The business that I know a lot about doesn’t even have enough clicks to generate any tangible keywords in Wordtracker or Overture. I think I know what my strengths are. I certainly know my weaknesses. And while the core advice is to work less and earn more, I would like to see that happen for me online. I am still weighing whether or not the coaching program is for me – seeing that I don’t exactly have a business to take to a next level. I need help from the Strategic Profits group here.

Great show, Rich! I have to commend you for going the full length without a break, it shows the substance from which you are made.

  135. Well I was skepticle about the whole thing. However, the link was sent and I found it in the junk mail, when I clicked it the site loaded right away, the viewer was clear and so was the sound and video. From the tech side of things I thought all was great with a minor exception. When it was over and I tried to follow the links I could not connect, but I assume it was due to traffic.

Funny thing is, I’ve been working on doing the same type of cast. Hopefully we will soon all find the stuff that works perfect. Best to you, Toney

I really looked forward to be in this webinar even if it is 2am to 4am here. The audio was great but I cannot read the small fonts of the slides. I hope I can download the slides for free as well. I only got 4 small pages of notes that I jot down during the the webinar because I dont want to be missing a single word that you say while I am writing down notes.
Right now I am on the ‘E’ quadrant of Robert Kiyosaki’s Quadrant. I’ve been trying to go to ‘B’ since 2003. Whats holding me back is FEAR and LAZINESS. I always use ‘being BUSY’ as an excuse for laziness… I wish I could go to ‘B’ soon.
In 2005 I signed up with adsense and made a website in hopes of getting lots of money through adsense clicks. I made $100 since and you made me realize I was doing it all wrong.
I can say this webinar is very useful to me even when actually I havent been applying them yet.
Thank you for making this possible. I want to pay you back when I get to become successful.

Thanks for all your efforts to educate the people the right things. I registered for the live video seminar but I did not get any email with links to the seminar. Upto 11.00 PM here in Chennai, India, i.e. 1.00 PM there in Florida. Then I went to imnewswatch to find if any links are there to the video seminar and found the link event.on24.com… was asking email and password which I did not get. So, there was no way except a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig disappointment that I missed listening your teachings live. However, I hope that as you are a great giver you may consider posting the video link in your site for those registered but could not view it due to unavoidable circumstances. Thanks and Regards.

Yes, you did repeat some of the manifesto stuffs there, but the introduction is required to put everything in context…

I’ve read the slides twice and hope you’ll offer the mp3 or video of your seminar for those of us who couldn’t watch it.

  140. Dear Rich,

First of all, thank you for another great Business Presentation, and for selecting ON24 as your Webcasting Partner! Reuters uses them, HP uses them – and now Rich and Strategic Profits are using them, too! Wow, I’m totally impressed by you, Rich – as always anyway…:-)

Those of you who are still wondering if this Webcast was recorded or not, I suggest to go to ON24’s eMedia Center at: http://www.on24.com/ and download the podcast “Choosing the Right Webcasting Platform: How to Avoid Mistakes.”

After you view the podcast, you will understand why this particular vendor was selected by Rich and his team, and you will realize that recording of Live Events is one of the standard features with these guys. So please rest assured that none of this precious info is going to be lost – Rich thought of us all already, it’s all part of the process, etc…

C’mon folks, you are dealing with a real professional here, whose reputation is on the line every single day of his life! So have some faith – will ya? 🙂

To those of you who say “it’s all the same stuff”, let me say this:

You must have missed many points, and here they are:

-at the beginning of his presentation Rich said if you are not there yet (not ready to start building your team), then all you need to do is focus on YOURSELF, your own personal growth – and your REVENUE; don’t forget that we are all in it for the money, so using Rich’s own words, “Some folks just confuse learning with earning”, so to speak…

-a total revelation to me was when Rich talked about Project Management (and these were totally NEW SLIDES, and NEW CONCEPTS by the way! – I know that the Project Managers who were on the call also noticed that!) and why you should not ‘add more to the plate’, so to speak, otherwise the deliverables are being pushed for later and later, and, as a result, your revenue suffers, too!

    -Rich also changed the story about Microsoft, and I understand why: in his previous video 6 months ago he said that Microsoft hired 10% of their personnel as Program Managers; in his definition, Program Managers were Project Managers responsible for both Go-To-Product and Go-To-Market activities. In his previous video he even made a brief reference to Six Sigma methodology, which turned me into his ardent fan instantaneously;

-please don’t forget that all of these concepts are common practices within the Corporate Enterprise world, and this is where Rich came from anyway, being a former member of Andersen Consulting; now, I was especially delighted to see that many of the concepts were intentionally simplified in today’s seminar, for the purposes of the target audiences (primarily, SMEs and individual Marketers)

Overall – ‘Repetition IS Mother Of Learning’ they say. So thank you for bringing us back to basics, Rich!

And once again – thanks for being who you are!

    -Val

  143. Hello Rich,

I attended the seminar yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Tahnk you so much! I am purchasing an existing business and hope to develop and grow it in many ways and I’ll be looking to you for guidance and inspiration.

I enrolled in the Business Growth System program and was given a password for the second session for yesterday’s seminar. I logged in at the appointed time but the seminar did not start. A tried later and got in on the last half. Anyway, I’ve received nothing in my email about today’s seminar link or access password. The password I received for yesterday’s second half doesn’t work. I can access with the initial password I was given upon registation though. And when I do I get this “This presentation will be available on February 11, 2007 at 01:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.”

The screen that appeared after my enrollment in the Business Growth System program told me the seminar will be on February 11th from 9 AM – 1 PM EST and from 2 PM – 5 PM EST I hope someone can clarify and direct people like me who may not have received an email for accessing today’s seminar.

    Thanks much!

  144. The presentation worked perfectly for me and thank you Rich for delivering this no money required education. For those of you who think this was free then you missed Rich’s point on the value of your time.

I am a business development consultant (www.stevepohlit.com) and implement many of the things Rich teaches and is hired to do. I have many success stories. Few are with name brands. Rich is a wizard at marketing. Look at the list of people who gave him testimonials. He earned them all I am sure. If anyone knows the reputation of Jay Abraham you will understand the value of Jay’s testimonial alone. I have been paying close attention to the marketing aspect of the well known names including Rich and need to step my promotions up a number of notches. His emphasis on evuating what you do vs. having someone else do it is excellent.

Look at what Rich did for this seminar as an example. He had a notable list of JV partners promote this. What was their motivation? Seems to me it is the sharing of the revenue from people who signed up for his program. The result was a represented 10,000 people tuning in and of course i have no idea what was the coversion rate. However, if 100 people joined, well do the math.

There are a couple of techniques that Rich teaches that have not been ones that I have emphasized. Many of my clients have big issues that need addressed fast and often I don’t get the the process mapping phase. I will absolutely implement that the newest company I am working with which is a $10 million business generating 80+% of it’s business on-line. It sources physical product internationally and in general is hugely successful. So why am I working with them? Simple, they can be a $100 million company in 24 months. That is the target.

The content Rich offered in the streaming seminar will help me and I thank him for all the lessons.

  146. OK, That was great. I had to get up at a little after 2:30 am to watch, but it was worth the effort and the cost of my time.

I have recently read a couple of Rich’s e-books which deal with essentially the same material, and I enjoyed reading the e-books as well. The more I hear and read, the more it will all sink in and the better prepared I will be to implement the strategies for myself.

It appears to me as if I need to build my businsess to several thousand $ turnover/month before I can afford the full package. Hopefully, I have enough resourses to do that. Thanks for the insight. I’ll be back in touch.

I really enjoy hearing this and his war stories describing how different he has been.
but I am unable to grasp why he decides to go with the masses on the technical side.
more than 80% of personal computers are running (or trying to run) MS Windows
to be different and congruent would mean working with something other than MS Windows.

Today I finished my migration from my PC to my new Mac.
There will be no turning back.
All the software Rich has been recommending… runs on the Mac too!
ok, ok… it runs on a Mac if the Mac uses bootcamp or parallels.
and it runs better & faster than on any PC I have ever used

How do I get you my CURRENT mailing address so I actually GET what you are physically sending me? Please note that there IS a gremlin in the post office where my billing address resides who has been taking selective portions of my mail (including packages) …and the postmaster has not been able to correct this.

By the way, thanks for today’s stream. I appreciate how you are tackling commonly thought of ways to do things, like how to write copy, order your pitch, including the ‘how many bonuses’ question. It’s given me a few things to consider with the build of my current product.

I’ve studied several of Halbert’s recent sales letters – they mirror what you stated about flow and images in the copy. When Brian Keith reviewed my sales letter, the was one thing he pointed to that sticks with me was that the sales letter had elements that jumped out and said SALES LETTER, interrupting the FLOW of the conversational copy…which he thought was good. I didn’t FULLY understand why I should’ve changed that THEN.

    I do now.

The INCREASE in the volume is much appreciated.

  165. Hi Rich and Team, I enjoyed your live video stream from down here in Australia thank you. I was expecting something a little different from what I was hearing. With the title of Rich’s talk being “From Startup to Freedom”, I expected Rich to talk more about the steps and the process of actually getting started. Rich seemed to focus more on clients that have already been making a reasonable income on the internet and not on those people just starting out like me. I am a qualified Project Manager and know all that Rich was talking about but as I am not a Internet Guru I was lost in all the lingo, JV’s, End Sell, Upsell, Lists…etc etc.

Great stuff that were mentioned within the Manifesto and its later chapters and more simple examples that truly expanded one’s understanding about creating a profitable and successful business.

    Highlights:
    * A Business is for making money, not a lifestyle
    1. Stages for business: Creating momentum, Growing ‘oneself’, Increasing revenue
    2. Knowing which stage you’re in, focus on it, make right decisions toward vision
    3. Identify your business strengths and leverage on them
    4. Identify your time value, it’s worth to maximize productive time
    5. Create and Install Business Process and Systems for projects success
    6. 80/20 rule: Focus on small # of activities that leverage on profitability
    7. Basic business metrics: 1. cost of acquistion per customer 2. lifetime customer value

Rich Shefren dispenses simple common sense ideas that truly creates the foundation for a successful internet business. I am still dissecting the Manifesto and its chapters and my notes from the webinar. Much thanks for the free live show. I know I got a basic blueprint for creating a successful business then anywhere that I have come across, it’s worth greater and more when applied.

One excellent aspect is how you illustrate concepts with real examples, especially disclosures of your own experience. Saturday afternoon’s presentation could use more polish from that point of view.

You appeared in a timely way – just as I decided to pick up the threads, with acurrent twist, of business I dropped 1.5 years ago because a mastermind group was just not coalescing and I was spending too much unproductive time on it. This time I will lead and bring on people to help me. Your approach is right for me.

  180. Rich (and others),
For reasons that I won’t get into, I was unable to make the “live” streaming video. So, on a hunch, I logged in late (on Saturday — AFTER the event) and was notified that the “conference” would be open on Sunday at 1 pm. I used the log-in I was given again on Sunday at 1 pm and *presto*, there was Mike, Rich and all the content that I’d missed “live” on Saturday! More than that, there was a notice that said that this content would be available until some date in MAY of 2007 (I’m not sure the exact date, as I didn’t need to write it down). The only disappointing thing about watching this late is that the opportunity to join the Business Group that is advertised as a link under the video stream is now long gone — it’s full.
So, for anyone who missed the presentation — whether through technical glitches due to server overload or whatever — try using the login information now… you SHOULD be able to get the presentation just fine.
I would appreciate it if Rich would contact me by email — I have something to discuss with him personally regarding this conference. Thanks.

    Respectfully,

I tuned in on Saturday and everything went well for the initial 2 hour session.

After signing up for the course everything went pear shaped. I used Windows Media Player however the lack of bandwidth with my 2 meg ADSL service was clearly a problem yesterday. I was getting a distorted picture, continously interrupted sound and in the end after 90 or so minutes I had to give up.

The content of your presentation was very good especially on Saturday when I received a clear reception. I look forward to putting your powerful words of wisdom into action.

  184. Hey Rich,

Well, I have to say CONGRATULATIONS and a big THANKS!

CONGRATULATIONS for pulling off the live streaming seminar and THANKS for the excellent content and delivery. Unlike some of the posts here, I found the whole thing worked like a dream…

I was tuning in from Scotland. I got a couple of ‘heads-up’ e-mails in good time with the link and passsword to the streamed event. I logged in 15-min before hand, NO problem. Went through the systems, browser and RealPlayer checks (very professional), NO problem. Watched the whole 2hr event, image + audio, NO lag or problems whatsoever.

I was VERY IMPRESSED – heads and shoulders above any other video seminars or tutorials from other ‘Gurus’ – and that’s just techincally. (Guess that’s what come’s from practicing what you preach and getting the best guys to deliver the job, right?)

The content was invaluable. You really delivered a HUGE amount of quality material for FREE. Great that you made the support materials available – just downloaded them and I’ll be putting them to good practice.

    Question: When’s the next one!?

    Thanks again,

  185. Rich,

I wanted to give you some honest feedback about the video conference…

I think you might have done better to use Webinar software like GotoWebinar or Breeze and keep the slide show in front of your remote audience than to go to the trouble and expense of doing the video thing.

You lean on your Powerpoint presentation to your detriment. Much of the time, you were just reading off the slides. The slides ruled the show, not you, and that’s something you need to correct as a public speaker. Speak to US — your audience — not the damn screen.

You had a ton of great content in there, but you skipped through it so fast and with there being no clear, visual indication of what was on the slides, much of that content was lost for me.

Your presentation reminded me of John Reese’s “Traffic Secrets” DVDs, where you get to look at his profile as he reads off the screen the entire show. He had great content and could have done a whole lot better by knowing his material better, letting the slides illuminate what he was trying to say to the live audience rather than the way he did it.

Video can be a crutch. Or it can be a fabulous tool. Your choice. You have to learn how to use it to your viewer’s benefit if that’s the choice you’re going to make.

I signed up for your program and shudder to think how poor the communications will be if you lean on this video crutch before really mastering the tool.

Get some webinar tools with two way communications built in and you’ll have a great program.

Sorry to be negative, as it WAS great content. But I figured once you waded through all the hosannas above, you might want to hear a little bit of honest feedback.

    Thanks,

    Andy

  186. To Rich,

Allow me to first respond to the previous comment by Andy. He makes some good points about utilizing other technology, but knowing the content and not knowing the material is a contradiction. Moreover, I believe having too much stimulation (having slides up while talking to the audience) can divert an audience away from a spontaneous but important message the speaker may convey; missing an “AH HAH” moment, costing you $Millions of Dollars$ of future revenue. Of course, I am very happy to have the slides today to reinforce and fill in the blanks on the notes and ideas I wrote throughout the presentation(s).

  187. Hi, Rich,

The delivery concept you used was terrific! I have been on several teleseminars recently and watched a few videos. I, personally, feel your approach was the best by far. You brought out all the points necessary to create a successful “real” business. I genuinely do appreciate that and found it quite interesting and informative to sit in on an actual seminar. Haven’t done that in a couple years. The slides were very difficult to see over the ‘net – would have been better to be able to enlarge them for better visibility, and/or let the camera stay on them longer so we could finish our notes. (Squinting and focusing seemed to help)

Being a systems person for a prior employer, I found you to be right on the money with your segment on systems and project management. Actually, your entire presentation was “right on the money”. I think I was looking for that “easy way” to achieve my goal that all the so-called gurus are talking about or are trying to sell in a compacted e-book or whatever. I am recently out of corporate America and wanting to start over again in a more relaxed arena (like an elaborate office at home with all the bells and whistles except the long drive in traffic and bad weather). Having had many, many years of experience building other people’s businesses for them (successfully, I might add), I do know what it takes – And, you did touch on the areas necessary to achieve success.

I scanned all of the comments to this point and can really understand why some were negative and some were not. We are all looking for an easier way to become wealthy. We are all tired of reading the same stuff, over and over again in different formats – presented by different people or gurus. I cannot tell you how many programs I have purchased or signed up for – how many e-books I have gotten and scanned – how many “get rich quick schemes” I have investigated and tossed – I, and so many others, are just tired of the same old hype. But, what most people do not realize is that there are not many “get rich quick” theories out there that will truly work (anymore or at all) – Most of what you see on the internet are a way for someone else to reap the rewards, too involved, too costly or just clearly do not work. We must all approach any idea or system with an open mind. I think that is where a lot of people fail. That and not being able to envision themselves actually succeeding at it and how they do it.

I think your concept is good – the meat of your seminar flowed, was correct and informative, the delivery is great – the product a little pricey for the average person trying to “make it”. Some people may get overwhelmed unless they are business-minded to a degree and may not be able to grasp all of the important stuff. Just yesterday, I listened to an audio by a “newbie” and want-to-be guru. His stuff was definitely not original by any means and all copied from several different sources. But, he did put a lot of thought into how he would merge it into a finished product – I don’t know if he compiled (wrote) it or if he had someone else write it, but it flowed nicely and convincingly. It gave me all the good stuff one might need to get hyped and want to go for it. The delivery was, however, terrible – He just read it like a script and you could tell without question that he just was reading it. Once I got past the horrible delivery, I was able to focus on the words and meaning and decided to actually keep both the audio and printed copy in my files. It gave me a terrific marketing idea.

Point being here – I learned and got something out of your presentation and I will continue to follow your offerings – WHY? Presentation terrific! – Content correct and in line with building a successful business (I only disagree with a tiny 2% – and will re-visit that when I have more time). I saved the “newbie’s” presentation and will watch his progress to see what else he comes up with – WHY? Presentation was terrible! – Content was copied from other people’s works! – But, the content compilation was very good and with focus would achieve what it was intended to. – AND, the purpose behind that little e-book interested me, and gave me a new marketing idea.

EVERYONE CAN GET SOMETHING OUT OF EVERYTHING IF YOU HAVE AN OPEN MIND AND GENUINELY WANT TO MOVE FORWARD. I have different income streams and am looking for a unique and viable way to market them with an impact. They are varied – one intended for short term big $$ – two on auto-pilot for long term, steady, decent residuals – one for testing a theory – one for fun and education. I want to learn successful marketing concepts and proper presentation – I am a systems person and numbers cruncher, NOT A SALES PERSON – I need to learn everything I can to become a successful marketer. I watch, listen, learn and test – I am relentless – I will succeed.

There was absolutely nothing negative about your presentation – I commend you for trying the concept you did. Forget picking apart the technology you used. What you did worked – It could be viewed all over the internet – I’m using the new MS Vista OS and had to download a different viewer at the last moment, but, Hey, did it and it worked great – Sound was sharp – I loved it! I made necessary notes and got a lot out of the experience!! THANK YOU for inviting me to your presentation.

  188. Here’s a testimony for you: I watched the free streaming seminar. I put ONE idea into play, the backend offer. By about 30 hours after the seminar was over I had the offer ready for my subscribers. I sent an email and within 18 hours, I had made $3,000! That was by far my best day ever (about 3X) and far and away my most profitable (by about 6X).

So I signed up for the coaching program. Come on, one idea I got for free made me $3,000 two days after I heard it. I’m ready to take this thing to the next level!

The “outtask vs outsource vs outteam” is causing quite a stir with my business plan. Thanks for making so much sense.

How was the information in the recent live online seminar different from the video presentation you made available to us last May or June sometime before you released the manifesto?

Anyway, please don’t take this as a cheap shot, I love your work and everything you’ve done for me with regards getting myself focused on my business, it’s just that I live in Sydney Australia and pulled myself out of bed at 4:30am to log on for the seminar last Saturday and to be perfectly honest it was the same information you had already communicated to us in previous presentations and through your e-books.

I look forward to new information in the future..

    Thanks and regards,

So, nothing new, same stuff, just a new and somewhat naive audience.

IT IS nice to NOT have to load some other special “HOKEY” software player to view and hear stream or webinar.

  197. Rich, I had read one of your eBooks and was impressed with your content. It was this that led me to subscribe to your newsletter which led up to my watching your streaming video presentation.

I am looking at the time of the presentation, and it says:

    01:12:22/01:52:44.5

I’m more than halfway, and I have to be honest, I haven’t learned much yet. You spent too much time on the value of time, and it felt like it would never end. Finally you are talking about Process Mapping, but more than one hour of waiting for some concrete information is a bit too long to wait.

I will still welcome your ebooks, but I can’t say I will look forward to your next presentation if this is the way it will be.

I can tell you are very good and successful at what you do, but I am just being honest about how I feel about your presentation. I felt it was a bit long-drawn on certain subjects, a bit incoherent, and the fuzzy slides certainly didn’t help. Sorry.

I don’t believe that is needed or preferred ( dial up connection for web conference audio)

But it might help to have a video switcher or console that will allow you to go from camera(s) directly to slides in the stream or video, and back to camera, rather than the camera showing a you ( or any presenter) in frame with a blurry screen shot no one can read.

  200. Rich. what an awesome presentation. I’m new and I learn’t A LOT. By new I mean new. To me the quality of the broadcast image didn’t count because it was the content I was interested in and the quality of the picture was “good enough” to get the message. You’ve opened my eyes to what works and doesn’t, what I have been doing doesn’t! And as I’m not far into the journey, I’m going back to start again with systems and projects.

You keep doing what your doing and a lot of people will get it and earn the income they desire. Can’t wait for the the Business Growth System to be available. Click the button and I was “sorry” as the message read.

Good Luck to you and the team

Couldnt read your slides very well. Print was too small and colors were hard to read. Any good webmaster who ever put a landing page togather would tell you

Sound system not good. Picks up too much echo. Have your sound man work on it
should be able to elimnate some of that at the console Might want to re-mike your
self. Maybe like the rock stars use. A small head set might do the trick.

Content was good but too long. Any one who ever worked for Corp. 500 has hear
boodles of similar seminars. Change a few key words and you could use the same
pitch at a hardware convention in Atlantic City. Been there heard that!

“Pathological Schefren addict” might neatly describe the way I follow your appearances.

But even I was astonished at this video.

I will reveal why in a moment, but let me first blurt out this:

Your Internet Manifesto’s MISSING CHAPTER was a huge smack in the teeth for all the BS artists who would have us “Go find a starving crowd (or a pressing need need) and rush to fill it with a product offer.”

“NO!” You shouted. “Wrong. You must instead discover your real strengths, stick to them and base your business on that.”

This is a startlingly simple thing to realise, but is pivotal; If we just scramble to fill a need, then we will be jostling for position with 1000 other players all doing the same thing without having a competitive advantage to beat them off.

So why was I astonished? OK. I was hit with your secret even MORE loudly and clearly this time: If we sell what we have a passion for then no one can touch us – our offer will reflect our genuine true interest and be superior in all respects.

Totally agree. For example I LOVE what I do – showing folks how to go viral on the net and reach thousands. Your video switched a glaring light onto the ‘Stick to your strengths’ message – a simple truth that will drive success for anyone.

They say that a little enthusiasm goes a long way. I think you just proved the point Rich.

    My best as always

Like some others said, the red lettering was blurred and I think that the camera should have spent a little more time on the slides( no offense to you rich). I’m not even a newbie yet. I’m trying to get all the info I can before I decide to jump into Internet Marketing. I’m a paramedic for the Intensive Care Transport Team for Texas Childrens Hospital and my local fire department. Unfortunately, for what we do, we don’t make a whole lot of money so I really don’t even know where to start on my ventures. I know it takes money to make money but I don’t want to get into something that is gonna cost me hundreds of dollars before I see any type of return. Any help would be great on where to begin. The info that Rich shared though seemed like very sound advice and I took all kinds of notes to help me along the way. Thanks Rich.

  210. I enjoyed being part of this experiment in live video for a 3 reasons:
    1) My work was validated: 15 years plus consulting and coaching businesses in implementing “best practices” using process mapping, project management, with the unique offer of interpreting universal standards for Quality.
    2) I am pleased to see the “systems” and “best practices” approach being marketed to professionals and entrepreneurs to support their quality of life.
    3) I had fun being part of new technology.

My one concern was Rich’s comment about “those charlatans” who profess to be able to help businesses. Quite a disparaging comment (and claim) coming from a “coach”. AND, I am sure there were 100’s of professional business consultants and coaches watching. I am confident that there were quite a few who took exception. Professional speakers would cringe and say “know your audience”.

I had no problem with accessing the live video. I was using my notebook with a portable modem supplied by my cable provider. However, I do wish that videos could be sized for the computer monitor. I gave up trying to read the projected slides. I was unable to access the Business Growth Program and slides. However, I have already implemented systems and best practices in my business.

My own Coach helps me to make significant shifts and find customized solutions to specific challenges around my quality of life as a business owner and a woman. For me, there’s no substitute.

I read one blog comment about “Mindjet” for process mapping. I also recommend “VISIO”. I have used “VISIO” for 15 years. My clients love it.

We just stumble around hoping it will one day magically correct itself. I think you put paid to that kind of thinking.
For any future presentations you wish to do, perhaps it would be an idea to do a trial run with a few people worldwide just to ascertain whether the streaming is good or not. A lot of the slidework seemed a bit out of focus to me (Britain)

One thing – I got in using Realplayer but could not get in using the Windows player. This may be the source of some of the connecting problems described above. Also I still can’t download the slides no matter what link I use.

Many thanks for an amazing presentation. Can’t wait for the next one!

I passed over all the other dozen ‘affiliate promotion offers’ I received because I had already signed on for this thing with you.

Looks like the affiliates got the log on info out because somebody attended the event.

This is not the first time that ‘hook up’ details for events with you have not been sent.

You are so brilliant, it’s always a point of wonder when these little details don’t manifest. This aspect of your team is found wanting.

As for the ‘apology’, looks like a part of a Jeff Walker Strategy. (Even if it consciously didn’t start out as one.)

A team that decides whether or not its owner is capable of living up to his word is a co-dependent psycho-drama. Just the way the whole story is told is a drama.

That’s how we know it’s marketing…. Story…. Drama….. Get them involved emotionally etc.

People are waking up….. thanks to the Secret and the efforts of many enlightened people who have been living as ‘strangers in a strange land’ on this planet of marketing illusion. Illusion from the houses of religion, government, educational systems and medical ‘gods’.

Soon these tactics will no longer work. People will see what’s going on. You won’t be able to pee on their leg and tell them it’s raining out.

I see and read energy. This is what I do. This is the burden I’ve borne for 50 years.

I see that Rich is brilliant. I also see a crafty marketer at work.

I see I may be dropped from his list for speaking Truth. And so it goes. When people don’t like the message, it has been the fault of the messenger, until enough of the people could see for themselves….. by that time, the doing away with, of the messenger, is long forgotten.

Just do what you do best Rich. Share your brilliance. If you make a lot of money… great. If you help alot of people and don’t make as much as you had hoped for…. don’t sweat it.

You can’t take it with you.

The goal first and formost must needs be, to be of service to those whom are counting on you. When you do this, you will be rewarded justly.

  237. Hey Rich,

On your list, in your products, was meant to be there that weekend, but had business matters that were more important, aka moving office and setting up in a new state. Shame but hey you do what needs to be done.

As for Kara, interesting point of view. My comments on this are…. Life is a drama, life is a story.

I dont think for one second that last email was sent out in a marketing fashion or using any “method” or “style”. I know because I run a pretty large membership.

And it almost didnt launch 15 minutes before we were due to launch. To put it short we had our own “drama” that if I ever told the story, it really does come out sounding like a story and a drama.

But it was true, Business throws you some funny turns and opportunities in life, all of which when you look back on look like crossing in paths, influences from things you have done years back, you name it. The intricate weaves of kudos, chi, karma, whatever you beleive in can be seen.

Eitherway, Rich, tell you the truth I dont get time to read your emails often, this one I did read and its great to see other marketers speaking the way things are also rather then covering up.

We speak openly also, in business transparent is the only way to be, and that in itself sometimes just isnt enough.

    Cheers

This time I was expecting something deeper and more on a how to get started level. But it was essentially the same presentation, (not so groundbreaking) and you DID look, tired, flat and nervous.

I was disappointed as were many others, however, I understand you position and thank you for sharing it with us.

  241. Dear Rich,

As a video producer, I have just another suggestion, and a technical challenge for you. It would absolutely awesome if you could integrate your video stream with an onscreen synchonized display of your powerpoint slides. But if you can’t, I think the powerpoint should take priority. I mean powerpoint plus audio only.

Frankly, your audience doesn’t need to see you all the time. You could do a video only preamble/introduction. move to the powerpoint presentation with audio only. then switchback to the video for a more personal conclusion.

However, whenever we do see you, the shots should be Close ups or medium shots.
You’ll get far greater audience contact and audience impact with your online video if you do that. and your video window can be smaller and require less bandwidth.

If you can find a way to get the powerpoint and the video mixed into one stream, so your audience would not have to change playback applications mid presentation, then you really would have nailed it.

You would only need 1 camera on you, because when you switch back to the powerpoint, your vision switcher operator can instruct the cameraman to change the shot from CU to MS or MS to CU.

Spend the money you save on multiple cameras on getting your powerpoint streaming

I don’t know if this technology exists, but if you could get it going, it really would be amazing.

    Cheers again,

The hype said something new and then it was very similar to what you did at the seminar in Atlanta a couple weeks ago.

As it happens, I invited my brother over to watch the ground breaking event and he was very impressed!

You see it was NEW to him, and as we were watching he had a few revolations about your speech that I hadn’t caught!(and I had just seen you “live” 2 weeks earlier!).

So to all the negitive comments above me in this list…….Until you can give that presentation “word for word” like Rich does, you need to see it a few more times anyway!

Honesty is very refreshing in this industry.

Rich, I respect you more now than ever before because you had the kahonas to tell the world, “hey I’m only human!”

Maybe it’s just that I can see the blessing in all this. When you give the “do over”,I bet there will be more content and presented in a professional and polished manor that will “BLOW OUR SOCKS OFF”

Take all the time you need Rich!

However, congratulations you manage to go through the entire presentation and most people would not have noticed that unless you are a veteran of presentations.

Move forward on a loan There is inevitably an emergency, the ruins of the budget and output short of money to manage on a daily pay. The flow of loans, it is possible the body and soul, but with a big but.
Cash loans are denied the license and the interest rate can not much. In almost all applications, interest is practical and accessible. If you borrow $ 100, you pay a fee of 15 euros or $ 25. The fees are charged to your loan, meaning the end of two weeks, you pay $ 115 or $ 125
If you have a loan of $ 200, you must double the fee. You can pay the loan in two weeks, interest rates quickly added. Instead of optimizing the flow of loans from financial instruments to be useful, you’re a slave to your credit and end miserable than ever, try, only two sides, you pay the loan.
The figures, even if it hurts People who have credit histories to tell. It ‘nice to know that these loans have helped the man back on track with funding from its budget. On the table, it is sad to see how some $ 500 borrowed and must pay for his year of origin of the loans ballooned into the thousands. All said it was only a matter of paying the flow of loans over time.
If you are in for a loan of cash by the periodic costs of a part of two weeks after that to pay because of the day. Two weeks, a month or even victims of years it is better to pay the loan obligations and to obtain more money.

Some tips to Cope Do not let the flow of loans, as they are available and easy to borrow and the amount you need. If you have $ 100, then take the amount that, despite everything, you have enough money in the past two weeks. If it is payable, loans and worry later. You’ll be surprised that during the two weeks after they have paid, you receive your credit. Follow these steps to strengthen the belt:
Bar – the grocery bill to a minimum
    – Ready to not buy the newspaper

consoles currently on the market: Playstation 2 (PS2) and Xbox. PS2 is a Sony product,

while Xbox is endemic by the software behemothic Microsoft. Abounding altered bodies accept

formed with these gaming systems central and out, attempting to actuate which arrangement

provides the best achievement for your hard-earned gaming dollar. Actuality we booty a

We will attack to acknowledgment that age-old question: which is the bigger gaming system,

    Xbox or PS2?

You can booty a attending at a table comparing accouterments specs here.

There are abounding specs in accession to the ones listed above, but these should accord

    What about Multi-player Capabilities?

Both the Xbox and PS2 accept multi-player capability. You can angle up a alternation of

    Xbox Amateur vs. PS2 Games

When chief which of these two bold consoles is best for you, you should absolutely booty

however, about a PS2 bold for everyone, and there are lot of PS2 amateur geared appear

teenagers. If you are attractive for amateur for kids, the Nintendo Gamecube may absolutely

be a bigger best than either of these two – and it’s cheaper.

    Other Considerations

Some added things you may appetite to accede back comparing PS2 and Xbox is the ambassador

provided by each. These may not assume like a big agency at aboriginal glance, but bodies

usually adopt one blazon of ambassador over the other. The Xbox controllers tend to be

hardly beyond than PS2, mainly because Xbox is advised with earlier gamers in mind. You can

consistently buy a advocate in adjustment to get one bold animate ambassador to assignment

consoles currently on the market: Playstation 2 (PS2) and Xbox. PS2 is a Sony product,

while Xbox is endemic by the software behemothic Microsoft. Abounding altered bodies accept

formed with these gaming systems central and out, attempting to actuate which arrangement

provides the best achievement for your hard-earned gaming dollar. Actuality we booty a

attending at anniversary gaming arrangement and analyze the specs and achievement of each.

We will attack to acknowledgment that age-old question: which is the bigger gaming system,

    Xbox or PS2?

You can booty a attending at a table comparing accouterments specs here.

There are abounding specs in accession to the ones listed above, but these should accord

you some abstraction of aloof how abutting these two bold consoles absolutely are. If you

are attractive for authentic processing ability and cartoon capabilities, the Xbox appears

to accept a slight advantage. In addition, its computer-like features, such as a congenital

adamantine drive are nice to have. With the PS2 you charge acquirement a anamnesis agenda

if you run out of accumulator room. Back comparing raw ability and added features, the Xbox

wins – but you accept to accumulate in apperception that the PS2 was appear first, and

there are added things to accede besides arrangement specs.

    What about Multi-player Capabilities?

Both the Xbox and PS2 accept multi-player capability. You can angle up a alternation of

both consoles so that you and your accompany can comedy amateur calm at the aforementioned

time. The Xbox may be affiliated application a home LAN system, abundant like your home

computers (here’s accession archetype of how the Xbox is added like a specialized gaming

computer). The PS2 may be affiliated application a articulation cable, not a LAN. This

arrangement may be amount prohibitive for some gamers, back you accept to own assorted

consoles, seperate TVs for each, and several copies of the aforementioned bold (yep, that’s

    expensive).

Of course, you can consistently canal the bounded arrangement and comedy through the

internet. Bboth PS2 and Xbox acquiesce you to comedy online adjoin a accidental array of

opponents. Xbox uses Xbox live, a adequately able-bodied accurate online gaming network.

PS2’s arrangement is not as accepted as Xbox Llive, but it works adequately able-bodied all

the same. If you are absolutely into multi-player, it seems that Xbox is apparently the

    best animate for you.

    Xbox Amateur vs. PS2 Games

When chief which of these two bold consoles is best for you, you should absolutely booty

into application what types of amateur anniversary offers, and which amateur you are best

absorbed in playing. PS2, accepting been about a little while longer, tends to accept the

beyond bold library, but Xbox is not awfully far behind. In addition, Xbox tends to

aftermath amateur geared added appear adults than children. The cartoon apparent on the new

Xbox amateur are additionally acutely a footfall advanced of PS2 graphics. There is,

however, about a PS2 bold for everyone, and there are lot of PS2 amateur geared appear

teenagers. If you are attractive for amateur for kids, the Nintendo Gamecube may absolutely

be a bigger best than either of these two – and it’s cheaper.

The third fell short of intelligence but still solid nonetheless, and the TV series was a good addition to the franchise. Nearing the end of May, the fourth and latest film addition of the beloved sci-fi franchise will open, and viewers are in for a sheer summer spectacle.
