Even though it’s 11:30pm and past my bedtime, I watched this video. It was very much worth my while. I knew about using bonuses to try to get people to stick around, but your twist on using bonuses to generate testimonials and word-of-mouth was killer. I took a bunch of notes I’ll be implementing. Brilliant! I’ve been thinking about all three of those key issues (increasing stick rate, getting testimonials and proactively seeking referrals) for one of my clients and this solves them all in one fell swoop. Amazing!
This type of implementable detail is so valuable and could easily be justified at $100+ because it is so strategic and creates so much leverage… automatically.
This is one of those ideas I’m going to keep close to my vest so I look like a jenius when I implement it (you’ll get the credit of course:-)

As a marketing guy myself, I can definitely say that you’ve hit the nail on the head with this one. The process you’ve come up with here is rock solid, and anyone who implements it should expect to get the results you’ve promised. Well done!
Just one tiny suggestion if you don’t mind. It bothers me that your acronym T.R.E.A.T. falls apart at “A” … Add an Experience (”A” for “Add” is not capturing the word you want people to remember).
Instead I recommend that you change this to “A” for Create “Anticipation”. You mentioned creating “anticipation” several times in the video and it really is one of the keys to the success of your process.
So now T.R.E.A.T. stands for:
T = (Generate) Testimonials
R = Reduce Refunds
E= Exceed Expectations
A= (Create) Anticipation
T= Tell A Friend
I think this works better, don’t you?

Nevertheless, even without these suggested
“improvements”, Todd’s TREAT, as originally
presented, is a winner.

However, the audio was clear, and the content sounds like very valuable information.

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for in terms follow-up support for my customers. I’ve done a few of these things already in terms of delivering content post-sale, but this explains the psychology – great way to get testimonials from people as well.
I have definitely seen the law of reciprocation at work….when I’ve sent out updates to my products, THAT is when I ask for testimonials. This is a great way to automate it.
Makes sense. I will definitely try it out and re-structure my autoresponder sequence.
