Hi Rich,

Very much enjoyed the call on 9-9-08. Fascinating to listen to your experts describe their constraints.

Recently referred to you by Yaro (discovered his Blog while doing some research). So, you are both potentially new resources for my fledgling business.

Incredible how we get in our own way while attempting to grow an enterprise, and interesting how many folks were reluctant/afraid/unaware of what creating a team with a common vision would do for their company.

After the call, did as you suggested and signed up for the new delivery you mentioned will be forth coming in a couple of weeks. Also pulled a couple of other reports you were giving away.

Imagine my increase in confidence in your -- as yet for me, unproven expertise (although must say your program, the way you moderated it, and the questions you asked were all top notch) -- when I discovered your JV or alliance with Jay Abraham (one of the most incredible programs I've ever experienced were his PEQ, PEQ II and PEQ Cubed with Chet Holmes).

So, my biggest take away was this: much of what I’ve learned about marketing and sales over the last 35 years applies to the Internet (up till now, all of my experience has been in traditional business). However, there are many – sometimes it seems an overwhelming number – of things to learn, nuances to understand, techniques and skills that I need to acquire so I can apply my skills in this new environment.

Frankly, I was relieved to hear your guests describe their issues around employees. It has been clear to me from the start that my newest endeavor was going to require hiring talent in order for my most important goals to be met. Now I can see it might be even more important in the world of Internet enterprise, than in traditional bricks and mortar firms.

After all, the key to success in any business is not working in your business; it is working on your business. The more time you can devote to working on the business – moving your vision forward, the more your business should prosper.

Looking forward to digging into your reports, learning more about you and how you might assist me in the future.

All the best,

Joe Emmet

Great call, the best part for me was when Frank explained how he got over the membership site hurdle.
As a relative new-be at this, I'm bombarded with info and quite frankly it has scattered my efforts.

I get the impression you work largely with people that are already successful to some degree, folks making $5-10K a month looking to increase that to $100K or more, which is wonderful, just that .... well I'd like to see someone put out a simple beginners guide so to speak.

It's like I'm learning the alphabet, only 12 to 15 letters are missing. I can rank #1 on Google for key words but I'm not sure which web host would really be the best,or just all the internet basics that make these "advanced" strategies make sense. Having said all that, it was a damn good call though.

Thanks Rich

Fantastic Teleconference.

Here in Japan, it was a bit early, but seemed well worth it. I am new to Internet Business, going into it because it seems the best way for me to start my first business living outside of the U.S. Just began studying and preparing a few weeks ago, and have yet to make my first Dollar, or Yen even.

So, from that perspective, these are what I feel most impacted my perspective and how I will do things:
1) Work on what you love and are best at; value your hour and source the rest- talked about by most of the speakers. Efficiency of "make more, enjoy more, do more"- Rich
2) Don't get tripped up by what you don't need- by Frank Kern
3) Strategy vs. execution or innovation vs. optimization: can't do both at once; a running double list of things to learn and business goals; $20K/mo. first goal; thought problem: firing yourself in 1 week & focusing on growing business. - Brad Fallon
4) Simply changing a word can make all the difference- John Carlton
5) Working on your or your businesses constraint is where you should pour the majority of your energy- Rich

Other things seemed very valuable as well, but I this seemed most significant to where I am at and 5 already seems a bit much.

Thank you, Rich and Team. I very much appreciate it. I don't yet have the success to prove this valuable, but I am very grateful and hope to show proof of the value someday soon.

Many thanks.

I found what every speaker said was helpful, but the most useful to me was the man who couldn't get his book published but, once it was in print, he had to go out and talk to people about it because no one knew who he was.
I will try that. Also useful, was the philosophy to delegate work and not to try and do it all oneself, which is what I enjoy doing, but I realise now that I am the bottleneck which prevents most of my ideas from seeing the light of day. Excellent lessons. Now I need to put them into practice.

p.s. Your e-mail said the start time was 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time and as the time difference is 6 hours I made my call at 8:20 p.m. British Summer Time only to find the conversation was already well under way.

This was a great idea to reveal some things that held people back. Some are held back because of fear, and some from lack of knowledge about their business practices, and some from how it all works (internet marketing).
I was never the marketing major in school, and never desired to be, but am now very willing to learn from those over me. I may have to work on my patience a bit, though. I want those "quick" results, overnite??
Who wouldn't?
I am very new to this arena, and am always learning "how to".
I hope to be able to grow to the point where I can afford to "hire" those who can help me increase this business. Right now it is struggle time to pay current bills.
I have had great success in Amazon and Ebay, over these last two years, but know that it won't be enough, to self sustain itself.

My sincerest apologies- even though I double checked the number 5 times, I missed that I had dialed in the incorrect area code. No problem here.
