As i'm writing this we have received a whopping 723 replies. That's a tremendous response, and we thank you for it.
And when we began poring over your answers, a few things popped out at me...
--I was FLOORED by how many people were having the very same problems. And the most incredible part was, it didn't matter whether they were newbies or internet marketing veterans--they were STILL having the same issues. Just think about that and keep it in mind for now.
--I was also amazed at how many people are working harder than ever, yet still seeing little or no results. They're spending more of their time working on their business--sacrificing the important things in life like family--yet not getting near the return on their investment they expected.
And finally, one thing became perfectly clear.
I was right.
(Note to self: print out this blog post and show to Debi. I don't get to say this around her very often.)
It's obvious that many of you struggle with a plethora of issues. And I know for a fact that they've been responsible for the demise for hundreds--if not thousands--of promising businesses.
But I DO NOT want you to be another casualty. So here's what we're going to do...
On Tuesday at 2pm, I'm holding a special replay of the mega-teleseminar with a few of my high profile coaching clients that will be on Monday because the Monday call is full. We're going to address some of your issues directly and reveal exactly how to eliminate them once and for all. There's a reason why people who have had an online business for 7, 8, even 10 years are having the same issues as people that have been online for 6 months and it's probably not what you think because It has not allways been like that. Because things have magnified--even in the short 2 years since I released the Internet Business Manifesto. And you need to know which strategies and tactics are pulling in profits right now...and which ones aren't. Finally, I'll be gazing into my crystal ball and giving you my predictions again on where I think our industry is heading--and how you can cash in BIG on these upcoming trends. And who knows? Maybe you'll get a sneak peek inside my newest report. Can't promise you anything, but I've been known to overdeliver from time to time.

Rich, I appreciate your candor. I believe it is entirely possible to make this thing work.
I am committed to getting something going. I just opened a new website and intend to build in the Info product area.
Agreed, to higher profits.
Looking forward to the call, Rich!
You’re right - so many people are having
the same issues and it will be great to
hear what your take is on it.
See you then -

Rich,
I bet I can guess it has a lot to do with working “in” the business rather than “on” it. That isn’t breaking news, but the amazing ways NOW that you can work “on” your business is breaking news. You can utilize virtual assistants for 3-5 times less than what you pay anyone in the US. I don’t think you want to use them for everything like Tim Ferris suggests “The 4 Hr Work Week”, but I DO think you can use them for many mundane tasks that are consistent. If you can document a process there is a good shot that you can get a virtual assistant to do it for you. I run a completely hands off (Maui Millionaire level 3) type business all using virtual assistants. I think many of us business entrepreneurs love to control too much of the processes. That in itself is the challenge. We are the bottleneck. We need to step a-side so we can focus on building our businesses, so we can train someone else to run them.

Should be fascinating to hear the updates to the Manifesto and I’m definitely looking forward to the new report.
Excuse, dear Sponsors!!! I thank, but I am a pupil and not
I understand, that it is necessary to make comments, that it is necessary to do to receive
Money which at me absolutely are not present!!!??? Naive, here 15 months
I hope for disinterested aid for the beginning movements to success!!!???
It doesn’t surprise me people from all levels of experience are having problems! The net is for ever-changing, there are new rules and new expectations and new systems which we need to be almost instant geniuses at!
It can get overwhelming, actually it does get overwhelming! Any assistance, clarification and encouragement is greatly appreciated!
Jeanne
I am having hospital trearment at this time but look forward to my getting started in a couple weeks time.
I hope I can connect to hear your story.
The changes seem to keep happening the more I delay my getting started
Rich,
I have read the Manifesto, The Missing Chapter and the Final Chapter, and lots of the resources made available to me. I am in week one of Module 1..I’m a newbie!
From what I have learned so far, I must Identify my natural niche and not become distracted while i am doing this. (this appears to be a golden rule to achieve success in the shortest possible time)
But, you are sending me 3 e-mails each day, offering me cash maps ,opportunitys to take a “fantastic 81 pre written niche site webpages” and even an affiliate offer …
Each time I open a new offer you send me, I feel I am a little more distracted from my niche building mindset I have developed. Do i really need these offers NOW? they look useful will I be offered them again when i understand their use?
Rich, ‘im on board and learning fast..But I do feel I am being “marketed to” by an onslaught of E-mails from your marketing department !
My be, if you have someone signed up for your Business coaching, they could be mail shot according to the offers that are relevant and to the module they are presently studying?
Hopefully you see this a positive observation.
I’ll be there for the call..
Rgds

Do you plan to graph those responses, Rich?
Demming was dry in his presentation, still, his wisdom was caught only by those paying attention and taking action.
I suspect many of us have not reached that level to out source and gain control over the big picture to be observant to where our leaks/weakness and even strengths are.
I would appreciate learning what is common among those who responded to your three questions.
Prayers for all during this hurricane season.
Rich,
I still have to rely on a JOB to pay the rent. Tuesday is a work day. But I need the info to break the chain! Do we have any option? Or am I SOL?
expect success,
charles
I know this is off subject but I’m in a rush. I don’t like having to scroll down to see the headlines. It’s nice when a blog has just a list of headlines at the top. Most of the time I won’t scroll down but just close the page if I don’t see something of interest upon landing. Hope this helps. Great strategy!!! I’m still building.
Thanks for this new post, Rich.
I’m glad that things have calmed down a bit at your office, and that Hanna didn’t hit you that hard…Hope that Ike will be merciful and sparing to Florida, too and you would not have to broadcast to us from your Porsche, or something like that…
Your latest StomperNet video presentation inspired me to create a new report that I called “Buying Model 3.0″ and I hope to start giving it away to my customers soon - again, thanks to your “Give it away, give it away, give it away now…” approach that made you a multi-millionaire in a very short time. Hope that same strategy will make lots of money for a lot of us, too.
I trust we’ll all be blessed to hear more of your wisdom on Monday and thank you for all your wonderful messages.
Best regards,
Val
The Manifesto remains the greatest report of all time. I usually refer to it from time to time. Its part of the success i get from my blog. http://www.superprofitsmedia.net
Am looking forward for the new review. I keep you and your team in Prayers.
Cheers,
Mike
Storms come and tempers flare; storm abates and so does the situation! Nothing unusual - that’s simply nature at work. But I’m glad no one got the worse for it.
Now there’s buying model 3.0 too? It’s a problem when in the process of building up a business based on a model and the next thing hots up and makes your new pride and joy obsolete…then you do it all over again and the visious cycle continues(sigh).
Is this the way of the internet these days? Is there no way out of it? How often do we hear “If only I can get that first big breakthrough?”
A question for you Rich, “How can the little one man newbie race fast enough to catch up or better yet, get ahead of the new or latest hottest thing on the market…there’s always something new every 3 months or so…?”
Some of us are already implementing everything we can and more (outsourcing, etc.) and are simply running out of personal resources to go that extra mile. And perhaps another handicap is we have yet to establish the creditability to be able to have our choice of quarterbacks like the top marketers have. Then, there is that incessant noise coming from all quarters - this way made me millions, that way made us gazillions… While I’m sure they are all correct, but which one can the new guy choose to emulate to rise above all that noise and get noticed?
Perhaps there’s something else yet to get discovered here, short of buying an established business for that lifestyle supporting amount of money that we’re hell bent on trying to make in the first place.
I’m sure there will be more than a handfull of people waiting for what you have to say.
Lack of consistent action is for main the main reason for failure in any area.
However, Internet Marketing information overload is making it impossible to follow sometimes.
After spending over $200,000 on my own Internet Marketing education, and struggling for 3 years, I have to say spreading myself too thin on many unprofitable ventures, web sites, and over 700 domain names was a huge mistake. Rich, Andy and Brad taught me how to focus on my business, which is finally becoming profitable. I help others get traffic to their websites, and I’m certain any new product or documentation Rich delivers to all of us will be quite worthwhile. I look forward to hearing the call, as well as seeing what Rich will be helping us with next!
Rich,
I appreciate and got a lot from your videos, especially about what holds most people back. Thanks for explaining so well. I have been self employed a few different times and I do not have experience in this arena so the uncertainty is getting the best of me. I can see how many of the thought processes I have need to be adapted. Wow I believe you hit all those different areas right on target. I have re-calculating to do.
Thanks much,
Del
2pm ET or Pacific? (it’d be sweet if it was Beijing time, but that’ll prbbly not happen, at least not in the next 5-10 years, haha)
In Internet marketing, people are desperately seeking a way to free themselves. The industry has become an emotional drain, a time sucker and a hope crusher for so many.
While reading the Manifesto, I had many aha! moments. But even so, Rich is teaching only a select few how to reach the top of the pile.
Underneath still lie broken dreams, smashed hopes and limping livelihoods for countless 1000s of people.

call at 2pm
is that Eastern, Central, Pacific?
thanks
Hi Rich.
I appreciate the time and effort you put into getting the ‘best’ up-to-date strategies to us in good time, and your info is always saturated with logic that’s hard to deny.
What I can’t understand, (and I don’t want this to sound negative) is how someone with the resources that you obviously have, has a blog that loads slower than the proverbial snail, and has no margins wrapped around the text, making reading it a bit of a strain.
Otherwise, great stuff, I’m off to do the survey now.
Pete.
Looking forward to the call, Rich. Your presentation was the pinnacle of StomperNet in Atlanta — can’t wait to hear this one!

Hello Rich,
I tried to call in, but someone answered the phone like it was a local business. Unfortunately I was calling via my PC and didn’t have the mic plugged in. I expecting an automated service to dial in the access code with. I think I was given the wrong phone number for the teleseminar.
This call is fantastic. Each guest has such a different perspective to add. Thank you Rich!

My sincerest apologies- even though I double checked the number 5 times, I missed that I had dialed in the incorrect area code. No problem here.
Great call Rich. Each guest has such a different perspective to add. Thanks!
This was a great idea to reveal some things that held people back. Some are held back because of fear, and some from lack of knowledge about their business practices, and some from how it all works (internet marketing).
I was never the marketing major in school, and never desired to be, but am now very willing to learn from those over me. I may have to work on my patience a bit, though. I want those “quick” results, overnite??
Who wouldn’t?
I am very new to this arena, and am always learning “how to”.
I hope to be able to grow to the point where I can afford to “hire” those who can help me increase this business. Right now it is struggle time to pay current bills.
I have had great success in Amazon and Ebay, over these last two years, but know that it won’t be enough, to self sustain itself.
I found what every speaker said was helpful, but the most useful to me was the man who couldn’t get his book published but, once it was in print, he had to go out and talk to people about it because no one knew who he was.
I will try that. Also useful, was the philosophy to delegate work and not to try and do it all oneself, which is what I enjoy doing, but I realise now that I am the bottleneck which prevents most of my ideas from seeing the light of day. Excellent lessons. Now I need to put them into practice.
p.s. Your e-mail said the start time was 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time and as the time difference is 6 hours I made my call at 8:20 p.m. British Summer Time only to find the conversation was already well under way.
Fantastic Teleconference.
Here in Japan, it was a bit early, but seemed well worth it. I am new to Internet Business, going into it because it seems the best way for me to start my first business living outside of the U.S. Just began studying and preparing a few weeks ago, and have yet to make my first Dollar, or Yen even.
So, from that perspective, these are what I feel most impacted my perspective and how I will do things:
1) Work on what you love and are best at; value your hour and source the rest- talked about by most of the speakers. Efficiency of “make more, enjoy more, do more”- Rich
2) Don’t get tripped up by what you don’t need- by Frank Kern
3) Strategy vs. execution or innovation vs. optimization: can’t do both at once; a running double list of things to learn and business goals; $20K/mo. first goal; thought problem: firing yourself in 1 week & focusing on growing business. - Brad Fallon
4) Simply changing a word can make all the difference- John Carlton
5) Working on your or your businesses constraint is where you should pour the majority of your energy- Rich
Other things seemed very valuable as well, but I this seemed most significant to where I am at and 5 already seems a bit much.
Thank you, Rich and Team. I very much appreciate it. I don’t yet have the success to prove this valuable, but I am very grateful and hope to show proof of the value someday soon.
Many thanks.
Great call, the best part for me was when Frank explained how he got over the membership site hurdle.
As a relative new-be at this, I’m bombarded with info and quite frankly it has scattered my efforts.
I get the impression you work largely with people that are already successful to some degree, folks making $5-10K a month looking to increase that to $100K or more, which is wonderful, just that …. well I’d like to see someone put out a simple beginners guide so to speak.
It’s like I’m learning the alphabet, only 12 to 15 letters are missing. I can rank #1 on Google for key words but I’m not sure which web host would really be the best,or just all the internet basics that make these “advanced” strategies make sense. Having said all that, it was a damn good call though.
Thanks Rich
Hi Rich,
Very much enjoyed the call on 9-9-08. Fascinating to listen to your experts describe their constraints.
Recently referred to you by Yaro (discovered his Blog while doing some research). So, you are both potentially new resources for my fledgling business.
Incredible how we get in our own way while attempting to grow an enterprise, and interesting how many folks were reluctant/afraid/unaware of what creating a team with a common vision would do for their company.
After the call, did as you suggested and signed up for the new delivery you mentioned will be forth coming in a couple of weeks. Also pulled a couple of other reports you were giving away.
Imagine my increase in confidence in your — as yet for me, unproven expertise (although must say your program, the way you moderated it, and the questions you asked were all top notch) — when I discovered your JV or alliance with Jay Abraham (one of the most incredible programs I’ve ever experienced were his PEQ, PEQ II and PEQ Cubed with Chet Holmes).
So, my biggest take away was this: much of what I’ve learned about marketing and sales over the last 35 years applies to the Internet (up till now, all of my experience has been in traditional business). However, there are many – sometimes it seems an overwhelming number – of things to learn, nuances to understand, techniques and skills that I need to acquire so I can apply my skills in this new environment.
Frankly, I was relieved to hear your guests describe their issues around employees. It has been clear to me from the start that my newest endeavor was going to require hiring talent in order for my most important goals to be met. Now I can see it might be even more important in the world of Internet enterprise, than in traditional bricks and mortar firms.
After all, the key to success in any business is not working in your business; it is working on your business. The more time you can devote to working on the business – moving your vision forward, the more your business should prosper.
Looking forward to digging into your reports, learning more about you and how you might assist me in the future.
All the best,
Joe Emmet
