Hey Guys,
It looks like my latest Momentum Video was a huge hit… as I type this we have 204+ comments on our blog, and pretty much all of them are rave reviews. And that doesn’t count all the emails we’ve received …my inbox is stuffed!

At this point I’ve had a lot of people asking “what’s next?”… and that’s what this email is all about.
I have pretty much caught my breath now after putting that last video together. Right now I am strongly considering doing ONE MORE video for you…
You see, I am about to head into another massive coaching frenzy - we are going to be opening up our Business Growth System very, very soon - and it will be a long time before I can focus on creating more videos like this.
We’ve been getting more and more inquiries from people who want to get into my coaching system…wondering when it’s going to be available. You may recall that last summer when I opened up my program it was only available for two days or so before it was completely sold out.
That was last July, and many people have patiently be waiting ever since.
(That doesn’t include a few weeks ago, when I opened up 100 “beta” spots during my live video feed from Florida… those spots sold out in six minutes.)
In any case, like I said above, the wait is almost over. The system has been stress-tested, and it’s ready to go. The final details are being put in place. We are now literally days away.
In the meantime, I am going to see if I can get that last video put together - there is one more piece that I *need* to share with you… it’s just a matter of getting all the pieces together.
Look for an email in the next day or two about that final video…

This is material is the work of genius: ‘simplifying the complex and making the simple work!’. I have an MBA and understand everything you are presenting, but I wouldn’t be able to articulate this content as well as you have.
Some of us are paralyzed by our inability to create either a product or service that is in line with our vision/mission. One of the missing components for some of us is (beyond the reading of entrepreneurs’ biographies) the lack of a network of entrepreneurs we can have access to and entrepreneurial mentorship.
My big take away from all this is: nobody will give you the guide on how to become an entrepreneur, you are fully responsible for becoming one.

You have ‘crystallized’, in your last two videos, what it takes to be an ‘entrepreneur’.
I had it 20 years ago, when I launched a National ad campaign, here in the UK, to promote my one man business. (Offline) Result £0 to £150,000, ($0- $280,000) in Year 1.
I was ‘flying by the seat of my pants’. I didn’t ‘know’ when I started my campaign, that that would be the outcome, I just kept ‘tweaking and adding’ as I went. Unfortunately, I ‘crashed and burned’ some time later.
20 years later, I’m going to have to try it again - I ain’t got any other alternatives.
I’ve just been told (2 weeks ago) that my (rented) home is required by my landlady, for her own family reasons. And yesterday I got the ‘Good News’ from my employers, that I’m redundant, as of Friday 3.9.07.
So I am going to put my future once again in my own hands and ‘launch’ myself into the ‘unknown’.
Thanks Rich, you have re-kindled the dying ember, that was my ‘entrepreneurship’.

This video was awsome. I’m suffering from all of those devils. You really hit the snail on the head (my head). But I’m not offended. All the opposite I’m gratefull.
That said, I also want to express that in my case there have been people (gurus/mentors) that have deceived me and used all their power so that I fail. For what reason I don’t know, maybe to keep me in the losing side. So I think I’ve become a loser, I don’t trust anybody. But I still don’t lose all hope. So, continue being good. BTW, I’ll keep my eyes open for next videos. Thanks.
I am one of the those who are guilty of everything that you described. Yes I suffered from information overload even now and didn’t know what to do or how to begin till I listened to your video recording last night. I am going to start clearing my system of all the unnecessary clutter and start organising myself according to your instruction. I am not offended by what you said. You have spoken the truth and I am guilty. I am guilty of all the excuses that you mentioned. The only thing that I feel that I am not guilty of is lack of desire. I have the burning desire to get myself organised, but procrastination was the greatest sin that I have been guilty of partly because I didn’t know where to begin and what to throw out and what to keep. I have tried throwing out once and found out later that I had thrown a very important item to my success. I am looking forward to listening to your next video. Please keep your videos coming. From the first e-mail I received from you, I knew that you were and are a very honest person who really wants to help others to succeed, unlike some mssters who would keep some important information, which frustrate us.

Loved your video. To be honest when I first saw it I thought “oh god, not another ‘guru’, I’m sick to death of these ******** coming from nowwhere and bragging about how great they are…” The minute someone tells me how much money they’ve made I just switch off. I instantly associate negative feelings with that person.
But you convinced me when you started talking about the need to build a team of good people and that you need to focus on skills for improvement. You really know your stuff. Thanks for the video, I took lots of notes. I loved the section on marketing and selling as two different things. That’s top notch info.

No instruction manual came with my babies, when they were born, on how to rear them etc and I did OK, so, by networking, resourcing and outsourcing the help I need to get to where I want my business to be, will expediate my progress and put into practice, that which I have always known to be the truth:

That made the issues very clear, and shows us exactly what to do to overcome the so-called problems. Specifically what was important to me was your prescription for “not having enough support to enter the momentum stage”. This discussion removed some of the cobwebs that still existed for me on that issue.

I’ve watched all of your videos and have just finished viewing the Momentum Video. Let me say that I couldn’t help thinking throughout the video that my wife had informed you about me and my quest to develop a successful online business - the information overload, the missing skillset, thoughts of failure, the idleness-orientation and on and on, they were all about me. But thanks to you all that is behind me now.
I promise not to buy another “Here’s how to make easy money on the internet” product until and unless I start earning from those already acquired. While I begiin writing my Vision Statement, developing my Momentum Plan and sorting through the loads of information I have amassed to identify what is relevant to my vision and plan, I’m eagerly awaiting your Scorecard and Skill Acquisition protocols.

Whenever anything from Rich Shefren comes in front of me, it always grabs my attention as he is the guy to listen to. He puts it like it is.

Just started online business of my own not too long ago and I have to say the fear of doing Internet Marketing is really a problem among newbies. Just put all those fears into a suitcase and shove them out the window, get rid of them and start. Put up to do notes and tell yourself what you are going to acomplish this week and then next week and on and on, then do them!

I understand everything you are saying. I do things every day that move me forward, but I am getting crap for results. That is my biggest frustration. I rewrote my salesletter and still got no sales. What am I doing wrong?

I do have obstacles , my husband that is 81 has been in the Hospital 35 miles away,
and I have to be with him for at least 4 hrs. then come home to take care of our two
dogs!
Joe has gone through a lot this week for the bleeding internal has still not been found and now they are going to operate on the two sides of his neck to clean out the arteries and hope that is it. Of course I am worried for he does have congested
heart failure and extreme emphysema with oxygen 24/7 He will make it and I have to be strong …… I still find four to five hours a day to work on the Internet and I have to keep my mind clear and consentraite on the programs that I really need.

I loved this. I opened it last week and watched it for about 20 mins then closed it and started going through my email inbox unsubscribing from all of the newsletters that i know I am not going to use (Opportunity seeking)
It made me think about who i really want to receive information from and now i wont open up my inbox to see loads of CRAP.
Today I went back to the video and watched it in full and saw myself in all of those little boxes and it made me take some action. Today I finally got my first product website up and tomorrow I am going to get the product up on Clickbank.
I have a question, you mention that a lot of the products preaching “make money” are CRAP and we should forget about them. Aren’t these the same products that your coaching clients are promoting????

I am in complete agreement with what you have stated in this. After watching it, I sat for 15 minutes , stunned and EMBARASSED about several of the descriptions that represented me and my current internet business condition. MAJOR INTERNET MARKETING INFORMATION OVERLOAD.
I then decided THATS IT, NO MORE. Im taking my next step. I made the decision on which two (of my 15 already planned) info-products/services would BEST represent the front-end of this overall cyberspace business I am building
These first two have already proven to be wanted by the public based on earlier research done. First, I will work on re-defining my overall vision and stabilizing my clarity on the overall business plan. Then will do some further surveys to research and clearly define the market/s, then refine the product plans accordingly, then produce them.
Now, I will close the door on ALL input that does support and does not lead me to getting these first two produced and launched. Its a relief to be able to let myself focus on the creation of two products at a time. Versus the 15+ I have been trying to all approach at once. I know the time will come when the rest of the products can be created, too….after I first create the momentum!
Id say , that was one damn good video….it
knocked me out of my overload state and put me back into methodical action all in one fell swoop!

Oh, the Momentum is absolutely quite needed about now! Thank you so much Rich for presenting (and “representing”) such fiercesome vitally needed guidelines on how to be an internet entrepreneur.
The Momentum you present was excellent. I hung unto every word and outline presented and this will definitely help me in designing my first client’s website.
I reviewed some parts of the Manifesto and the follow up and then the historical live webcast — Your Momentum presentation outshined all of that.
Last week I received an anti-guru email and from what I remembered from your Manifesto and from the negative tone of the anti-guru info, I went through my marketing area of my computer and deleted all of the files from all of the so-called gurus with the exception of those that could directly help my business goals.
Anything that gave me a deadline to “BUY NOW OR FORGET IT” — like “if you close this page, you will never in life be able to buy this wonderful product again” I took control and deleted them. If their product is so good they should keep it out there to continue making money - not everyone on the Internet will see their “once in a lifetime” deal on the same day. (The date is nearly always timed to appear and cookied when you open the page. So, if you go back next week you will get another “Warning” to not leave the page without buying.
You hit on all of my excuses. Are you a psychiatrist? I feel much better now and will go ahead and flourish with my business. We’re nearly half way through 2007 already and have to make solid goals instead of saying that ok, 2008 is going to be a good year. We need to say, “2007 was great! I’ll make 2008 better!”

Hi your vidio was eye opening.Iam from England and have spent about £4000 to set up a web site to make money on line as i am disabled and need to make money from home.All the money has been spent on information,by phone £3000 and e.books.I have got very disppondent but will carry on as long as i can.I no you will want to make some money from me,but as long as it is not to much(as im nearly broke)and is the truth easy to learn and i no there is light at the end of to tunnel iwill carry on trying.Hope i learn and make money from your advise.

I was able to see your Startup To Freedom Video of 12 February 2007 a few days later and was completely overjoyed about the information you dished out. It is indeed very kind of you. Since then I’ m trying to re-ogarnize myself to do things that will take me to the road to freedom. Lately however, I’ve not been able to access your server to view the videos. When I go to website, I see the following message on screen “setting up player” and then “connecting” The connecting message does not leave the screen for hours. I have both Windows Media Player and Real Player. Any idea what could be the problem? I’m really missing your stuff. What an educator you are!

I posted yesterday about getting my website up and said that today I was going to get my first ever product up on CLICKBANK and you know what I HAVE DONE IT.
I must have been an idiot for waiting so long to do this, i always made an excuse, the product was not going to sell, my website was not good enough, i dont have any bonuses for the product, i don’t understand how to get the product on clickbank.
These were all questions going through my head. Well today i printed off the instructions from Clickbank and followed them to the letter, i am now just waiting for them to approve my product and it will go live and i’ll have the chance of 100s of thousands of affiliates marketing my product.
Don’t worry i am not getting carried away, i know their is a lot of work to do but i am BUZZING.
If i can do this then anybody on this forum can do it and the only reason i did not do it before is because i was SCARED of failing. These last two days have eliminated that and i am moving forward.

Thanks for your reply to my comment from Yesterday. I understand that probably not all of Rich’s clients are “Make money” and it was not meant to be offensive just to open some discussion. If you have an offline marketing company then maybe you could promote my product to a subsection of your lists if the niche is a good fit. Let me know if this could be interesting.

I have been reading and listening to everything you have put out since I heard your name mentioned with one of Mike Filsame’s emails a while back. I love how you tell it like it is. Your last video made me own up to still gathering information “I think I might need some day” that isn’t going to help me here and now with my business. After watching your video I went through my computer and deleted all the unnecessary informational products that won’t help me right now, and I went into my email client and unsubscribed from a wack load of newsletters that I wasn’t even reading.
Your last video also reinforced to me that I’m on the right track, that I’ve already started my momentum and that I don’t need to keep grabbing things that might be the one thing that I might be missing. There is nothing I’m missing, except to go back and re-read and re-watch your stuff again and again… and again…
I am looking forward to other things you have in the works and look forward to the day that my business is at the point where I can afford to attend your coaching program… hopefully you’ll still be offering it by then!

I have to say your video is definately great! A friend of mine, Matthew Sherborne (cashmachinebook.com), and I were talking yesterday. I’ve been looking for some way for me to get into information marketing and have so many ideas. I think these ideas are great, but one thing Matt said was that I should focus. He also said I should check out your video, which will be able to help me focus on a specific area or niche. Although I just finished watching it, it has given me great insight and already has my mind going. Thanks for offering this information!

I really loved every minute of this video, just taking down all the excuses people have for not starting up their own business. In my opinion it doesn’t matter what you sell, your product doesn’t have to be unique. Just make sure that YOU make the difference in the way you are selling it!

Rich, Great videos. Thank You. One thing that bothers me a little is some of the legal stuff associated with partnering with other entities for complementing the work that we do as empire builders. It seems to me the managing of contracts with the outsourcing of services is critical according to other sources I have read. You probably mean this when you talk about project management and identifying tasks and managing a project.
This is an issue because of intellectual property and copyright ownership thereof. There needs to be a specific agreement depending on the vendor/partner. Probably not to big an issue in the beginning but when gold is struck of sufficient magnitude your subs might want what shouldn’t be theirs or thing is theirs. Like trying to develop another income stream.
I wonder if I’m being overly cautious. I have read of problems of ownership and I am aware that PLR should be paid close attention to before implementing. I’m sure there are legal people troweling the internet to find some unsuspecting “just trying to make a living” person to hammer into the ground.
I’ve said enough on this subject. Just wondering if you might touch on this area at some point. thanks again.
The book you mentioned when talking about how step by step or left-brain jobs are being packed up and shipped overseas is called ‘A Whole New Mind’ by Dan Pink. Another book that talks about this is ‘The World is Flat’. They are both very insightful about how fast the world is changing.

Well this is my fourth post on this thread in less than one week and you know what?
I have made my first EVER sale across the internet. YES! YES! YES!
And it is all down to the kick in the pants you have given all of us to rid ourselves of doubt and just get out there and give it a go.
Now i am not going to become a millionaire overnight, but boy do i feel like one right now. My product is priced at $37.95 and I get $33.55 after my costs from Clickbank.
I put a campaign on Google Adwords which has cost me $22 so far so my overall net profit is about $11.50.
Ok it is not a lot, but now i know it WORKS and i now need to tweak and test.
I have even had someone contact me about doing a Joint Venture to do a cross promotion of products in the same Niche.
If anybody is reading this and has not yet started then just get out there and give it a go.
