Amit: really liked your point of view. Some people keep going from seminar to seminar just to stay in their Peak State (tm)!

Anyway folks, it'is OVER! From the Sales Page:

I've been following the launch of IWA because I - probably like most of the other subscribers - dabble in Internet marketing. I've read Rich's Manifesto as well as the other reports. Everything that I read in those reports made immense sense and that knowledge is helping me shape my future plans that require internet marketing.

After StomperNet, I expected IWA to be priced between 5 to 10 grand. I wasn't going to join the IWA because even though I can afford it (but it'll be a stretch), it doesn't fit into my plans right now. My immediate business plans do not call for the high level of internet marketing knowhow that IWA promises to deliver.

I decided to jump into the ongoing discussion as I had a few thoughts that may help some of you.

One, stop focusing on the weak points of the sales letter. I think if you read the Alliance Factor (Rich's last report) carefuly, you'd find the more important details about the IWA explained properly. Also, if you've read all the reports in their entirety you would have known what to expect from Rich and the IWA.

Two, I agree that the price for the program is high for people who don't have ongoing businesses and want to start from scratch. So it rules out admission to people who are really desperate to go for internet gold but have no rich uncles or friendly bank managers to start them off with a loan. Probably for such people, Rich/Agora could have had a separate plan that would have started them off at a lower level and they could have earned and payed their way through.

Of course, those who can afford should first decide if the IWA fits into their plans. There isn't any one "secret ultimate wealth plan". There are many paths to great wealth - many that people have trod before and many more that you can make for yourself. If you believe IWA is a perfect fit for you - and you can afford it - go for it.

Think about it. If you wanted to become a doctor, you'd have to go to medical college, spend thousands of dollars and many years perfecting your skills. You wouldn't worry about the education costs because you'd know that you were investing in your career and a bright future. And you wouldn't select a college based on the sales copy in its brochure. And you wouldn't even think of checking if the college had a money back guarantee.

Since no recognised medical colleges are run by snake oil salesman, no guarantees are given (or required). In the internet jungle, though, there are just too many conmen (and conwomen) to trust someone easily. But then the Internet, like all other fields, has its share of expert teachers and Rich (and Mike Masterson & Agora) are real experts with a proven background.

The one thing in the sales letter that I have a problem with is the one-time $995 initiation fee. It's there supposedly "To weed out people who aren't serious about building a business". Since when did money become a criteria to weed out such people? I'm dead sure that everyone who has paid top dollars for seminars with people like Jay Abraham, Gary Halbert, John Reese and even Rich has not followed their instructions completely. People buy $10,000 seminar seats and then do nothing about it and a year later you'd see them at another high-priced seminar, still looking for Alladin's Lamp.

If Rich/Agora really want to weed out the non-serious people, they should give a series of tasks that need to be completed (and results reported) and THEN sign up only those who are in the habit of taking consistent action. Oh but then the number of sign-ups will REALLY, REALLY go down.

Well, those were my two cents (twenty-two is more like it!)

All the best to those signing up - and to those who would be charting a different course.

Rich's Final Chapter did an excellent job of marketing the value of alliances. Successful business people know the value of that resource. You don't have to convince me to join. The IWA sales ad should just be superfluous. Unfortunately, the sales ad was over the top, which made me feel like I was in a car dealership. It was all about "selling" the alliance. The value of the alliance got lost somewhere along.

When Rich introduced his succesful lunch of his coaching program. Reading his manifesto already convinced me to join. His sales ad was just superflouous. In fact, the sales ad emphasized what he explained already in his manifesto and he did not oversell.

Well, whatever the cost of a product ($9.90 book or $1,000,000 franchise), final decision should be based upon your answers to these 2 questions:
- does it fit in my strategical plan?
- if I apply the info, will it bring me more that the price asked?
For me, both answers were yes.
Of course, it is obvious that is not a "lifetime opportunity" and there will be other great coaching opportunities in the future for those that are not ready today.

Oliver,

There is a HUGE difference between a $9000 coaching program as a FRONT END sale and a BACKEND SALE.

That's is why there is so much gnashing of teeth.

So the people who question this offer are now "total beginners" and "ebook writers"? If you have to resort to ad hominem attacks to support whatever agenda you have in this, take a long hard look at why you are doing it. Is it to justify your own decisions?

People act like if you didn't spend every single cent you have to join this "opportunity of a lifetime", your business will shrivel up and die.

In business, the opportunity of a lifetime comes once every month.

One more thing:

If people want to compare, I just read sales letter for new
Jeff Johnson's Super Affiliate Coaching Club: it is $7000
a year, and it is mostly only about using data feeds as
an affiliate.

Well, Peter and Jason nailed some good points.

For those who still hesitates about the ROI, here is part of Rich's welcome message:

The Internet Wealth Alliance is like nothing we've ever done. In terms of value
it can't be beat. And we are going to over-deliver on this program in a big way.
You will have access to a tremendous amount of marketing, list building, joint
venture, and business building knowledge! And you're one of the lucky few to
lock in one of the few available spots!

The first month of the Internet Wealth Alliance will officially begin on
December 1st. We’ll still be sending over updates and tons of great content
before then. However the official start of your first quarter will not begin
until then. And let me tell you’re going to love everything we have in store for
December. This is where you’ll have your first live call in day, have your first
mastermind teleconference, and receive your first, Marketing Intelligence
Briefing. We are planning on covering a variety of topics over the next quarter,
including: list building... search engine marketing... copywriting... business
building... developing a customer path... and more!

I hope you're ready to experience the dramatic transformation your business will
go through. And if you’re just starting a business I can’t think of a better
way to start. It's going to be incredible. The staff at Early To Rise and I
continue to add new experts to our panel, all of whom are top-notch wealth-
builders and marketing people. These are the type of experts that we have access
to and who you soon will. In fact we plan on having many of these experts
involved in your live call in days.

We are currently scheduling the first live call in day and our introductory
teleconference, where we'll discuss all the exciting things we have planned for
the Internet Wealth Alliance. In these strategy sessions we’ll share with you
some of our most closely guarded business building and marketing strategies.

This is just the beginning of the rewards you'll get as an Internet Wealth
Alliance member.
