We have 199 applications for the “hot-seat” hour with me, and I’ll be reviewing them later today. Right now I am sacrificing my Sunday writing up another document based on all the problems and questions that have been emailed, posted, called in, etc… In it I willl give you the biggest single cause to why so many people are struggling online.
The madness hasn’t died down even during the weekend. We are still getting tons of downloads, more and more blogs are recommending and dissecting the report, and that’s only the half of it. I would write more right now, but I really want to get back to my writing, since I not sure when I’ll have another chance.
Speak to you soon,
Rich

I am caught in a circle. I keep clicking to receive the Manifesto, which ALL my buddies are talking about — and when it doesn’t arrive I click support@ strategicprofits.com and in there i find a link to click — and i’m in the same circle. Can someone help? I added the right address to my address book.
thanks.

Looking forward to it Rich,
I know that just by using our current systems and some tweaks and ideas from your guide we will help to move even further forward.
It is interesting to watch exactly how viral this has become. If anything anyone reading this blog can analyze this and learn alot from it.
Looking forward to seeing you announce later Rich.
Regards
Marc Lindsay
Hi Rich,
Thanks for your post. Sorry you have to give up your Sunday - sometimes success comes at a price ;=)
What was interesting about your contest was how it made me really think about my business, my plan, my goals etc. in the context of your report. Even while I was typing my entry, new thoughts were coming and I actually made a few long-postponed decisions. That was a very useful exercise.
Thanks.
Gillian
I know about some of the bits and pieces of webmarketing but I have not yet placed it all in a comprehensive strategic plan. Thank you for this. It just proved my point that webmarketing is far more than just pay per click advertising. I am looking forward to your session. I really, really need to tap your brain
Maggie
Ah man! I missed it
Hi Rich,
I live outside USA,in Malaysia. Therefore I did not participate in the contest because I won’t be able to take up the face-to-face coaching with Rich, I can’t afford it. Moreover, there are so many deserving candidates. But I have already learned a lot just by going through the applicants’ comments here.
This contest also demonstrates to me live what is the meaning of “viral marketing”. Thank you.
Rich, it doesn’t matter who you will pick to go over his business. But it will benifit many of us here if you would publish the “before” and “after” websites of the successful candidate after you are done, please?
Regards,
Benson Law
Rich, on behalf of the Internet community, I thank you for the excellent work put into “The Internet Business Manifesto” report.
It force me to rethink about what is productive, wasted and maintainence time, and of course the common trap of being “You.Inc”!
For folks who are having trouble downloading the report - you can download after you have sign up. You confirmation email should have the download link!
Thanks everyone!
Hi Rich,
On the last page of your Manifesto is a testimonial from your client, Dani Johnson. Could you discuss briefly the 3 tactics you taught her?
1. The branding and positioning strategies
2. The 3 levels of tracking metrics, and
3. process mapping
Thank you Rich,
Scott Lucas
Rich GREAT Manifesto but I think we all know this already.
If anybody in the ON LINE JUNGLE doing poor and he didn’t know why, your manifesto should have enlighten his failure.
I am one of those who failed pitifully.
Just I know why I failed, because of the reason i would fail being a World-champion in Weight Lifting, I can narrowly lift 50 pounds and I am to old to became a Power Lifter.
The same reason I failed with my silly approach to be an Internet Marketer.
Well I can go ahead and feed those SHARKS who promise me day in day out “how I can become a Multi-Millionaire when I buy their Leads their Website and become a member of the estimated 100.000.000 Affiliates!
But instead I realized that the money I already put to work was a total waste and and old saying I recall: “don’t through good money after bad money”
this is the most common mistake in a failing biz, because many fail to realize they have chosen the wrong SPOT to be successful!
It would be the same if you jump into a POOL without water but not admitting your wrong doing and jump in the same pool over and over again!
I for my own was pretty successful making money, despite the fact I am not even a real good businessman, but I was able to find Niches I invested in and with hard work and luck I was able to beat the odds.
The only real asset I have is common sense!
I retired at the Age 42 .
Since I try to be a ONLINE MARKETER I realized soon I am a small fish in a huge pond with tens of thousand of SHARKS and they are just waiting around the corner to eat me alive.
My friends call me PESSIMIST I see myself as a REALIST!
Despite this am humbled to read the true about me in your MANIFESTO, it just did confirm what I already knew!
Thanks Rich
and have a lot success in your future venture.
PLEASE READ THE ” MANIFESTO “
at least 10 times and let it sink in, in case you still don’t get it!
A while ago I became a proud Internet Entrepreneur, bought into a Easy Cash Cow and needed a Auto-responder to sell somebodies Idea.
BTW:I became his employee not a business owner !
I had NO clue at all what I was just about to experience.
I had to call my TEAM LEADER to figure out about the AUTO-RESPONDER I just bought and invested a hefty 80,00 a month
( OOPS, most of us can’t even open an e-mail attachment, but still we believe he can earn at least 100.000,00 plus a month On-line because this was what the Web Site promised with the package we just acquired for $ 10, $ 20, or $ 500, RIGHT)
The team-leader called me silly because i could not find the Link in time, he told me to click on.
Silly, was a wake up call.
I was pissed about his remark, but I have also to admit, he was right I am SILLY, because if I wouldn’t be silly, I would have done a “DUE DILIGENCE” and would have found out ” I AM NOT A INTERNET MARKETER” PERIOD.
Having read blogs up to July 11, I am feeling salt in eyes.. but I am willing to put down what I wrote before reading all of this… so, here goes.
In the Wild West the wranglers who loved gathering, stealing and herding wild cows with wilder horses and driving them accross open plains and tractless deserts to slaughter.. in the boom town of Chicago, Ill… those men were fierce and most unscrupulous. They had ways of “dealing” with sodbusters and local sheriffs. We have seen the movies.
Likening the Internet to the Wild West is a metaphor that we need to scrutinize and ponder as “newbies” or.. (no offense inteneded here:) Zombies (for those with more than a few summers)…
By putting “same to same” we can identify who is who, and what is what (or so I hope…)i.e:where is the hotel with the bath house, the front gambling room , the dining area, the local card shark/gunfighter, the smithy, the brothel…etc.
with a little help from our friends: google, yahoo!, overture… search… we can take sniper fire from look out points on the high rock cliffs. and that is needful. (thank you Rich, for raising the flag and sounding the trumpet!)
It seems to me (and I am NEWBIE) that the world of internet marketing is almost like playing “Blind-Man’s-Bluff”. It is a Helen Keller sort of a situation, compared to doing business in a building on a street (from the shopkeepers point of view). You have to create your existence through words and still graphics (to begin with anyway) …and you are working in a world where all the newest technologies are being tested and developed at lightning speed all around you. It is a total learning curve, sort of like… studying tai chi on a Tampa Bay golf course in the onset of a hurricane. Or, like being born in the emergency ward of the Liverpool General Hospital, in the middle of an air raid, during the 2nd World War.
I must admit to being fond of Michael Masterson because he is the first man who has made me laugh in a long, long time. His discussions about the billionaire/gazillionaire lifestyle had me rolling in the tears of kneeslapping, foot stomping, head shaking.. humor. And RIch, you are the 2nd one.
I had stopped reading my ETR’s because I was just overwhelmed by the charismatic marketing tactics- the lines and verse of the advertisers. so, here i am.. this sort of a maverick longhorn…even the females had horns, folks… running along through the sage and the scrub grass: drinking out of tiny pools, making footy-prints in the mud holes; “dancing” accross the slippery clay slews; scratching the dried mud and burrs off on the nearest cactus…
and I was going through my emails.. and it was almost as if my guardian angel placed a hand on top of my own and directed the mouse to where i clicked on Rich Schefren’s email.. and it ws the one with the 3rd chapter… and I was relieved beyond expression just to discover that the links still worked. Such was my introduction to the internet Marketing Manifesto.
