How I Cut Decision Fatigue By 70%

It’s a scientific fact:

The number of smart decisions you can make in a day is limited.

“What will I wear today?”

“What will I eat for breakfast?”

“What business task should I knock out first?”

Each of these decisions drain your mental energy.

And the tougher the decision, the more it fatigues your noggin.

But I have a simple solution…

Make decisions and stick to them (even if they’re not optimal).

Why?

Because when you commit to your decisions — you reduce your need to make them — which gives you more clarity on the decisions at hand.

For example…

  • I’m married and have been in a long-term relationship with my wife for nearly 9 years. Which means no more dating and all the decisions that come with that process (Whew!)
  • I recently bought a house in Baltimore (which I love) and plan on living here for the next 7-10 years at least
  • I stick to a rigid workout routine that I complete in the late afternoon every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday
  • I eat the same handful of meals for breakfast and lunch every weekday
  • I’ve driven my 2003 Honda Element for the past 4 years and plan on keeping it until the engine or transmission literally fall apart (which based on its current condition, won’t happen for another 4-6 years)

The result?

My mind is clear, free, and focused on the critical business decisions that chronically and inevitably appear during the day-to-day process of managing Strategic Profits.

I have extra bandwidth to focus on the decisions that have a massive impact on our success.

And I sleep easy knowing that most big decisions in my life are handled.

Bottom line:

It’s been a game-changer for my productivity.

So if you want the same…

Then do what I do and make decisions that you can stick with long-term, automate the recurring ones, then rarely give them a second thought.

Why I Won’t Pay For Business Audits

Have you ever been offered an “audit” by a business consultant?

In other words…

They want to interview you and your staff… review your products, marketing, operations, and finances… and then provide you with a comprehensive list of all the possible ways you could be making more moolah.

Personally, I get pitched this sort of deal all the time.

And never once have I said, “yes.”

(Even when they’re free.)

Why would I turn down such an offer?

Well, it’s NOT because I don’t see the value in them.

In fact, I have friends that routinely charge 50,000 USD to perform audits for 8- and 9-figure businesses.

And just one or two of their ideas often make the investment well worth it for their clients.

But when it comes to me and Strategic Profits…

The biggest problem I face can’t be solved by a simple suggestion.

Because the fact is:

Rich and I are idea MACHINES.

It’s easy for us to analyze our business and spot opportunities for improvement.

And since Rich gets to interview the top experts in Internet marketing and online business every single month inside Steal Our Winners

He’s constantly exposed to new ways we can boost our bottom line.

…Which creates a very different problem that I constantly have to address:

How do I prioritize all these ideas… and then deploy our company’s resources to execute them as quickly and efficiently as possible — all while re-investing resources back into the company to increase our capacity to complete projects?

In other words…

I don’t need a consultant to give me more ideas.

I need more people and resources to execute all the ideas we’ve already got!

And it’s this kind of self-awareness that’s critical as a business owner.

You need to know your constraints.

So if you’ve hit an income plateau… where nothing you’ve tried seems to work… and you don’t have a clue what to do next…

Then a business audit could be the perfect solution.

But if you’re like me and you have more ideas than you have resources to execute (i.e. staff, capital, and time)…

Then MORE ideas aren’t the solution.

…They’re the problem.

55% Open Rates While Sending MILLIONS Of Emails?!?

I was shocked when I heard this…

But this past January alone, financial publisher, Legacy Research, sent millions of emails to a list with about 315,000 people.

The average open rate?

A whopping 55%!

Needless to say, it’s quite an accomplishment.

And it’s all because Legacy’s Director of Marketing, Fernando Cruz, realized that smart list segmentation is the secret for consistently landing in the Gmail’s “Primary Inbox” and avoiding the dreaded spam folder.

In fact, Fernando and his team developed a unique approach that signals to email service providers that their messages are HIGH quality.

But rather than segmenting based on demographics like most marketers do…

They split their list into 9 specific “buckets” to ensure their emails get opened as much as possible.

And it works like gangbusters.

In fact, it increased their deliverability from 89% to 98%…

Which in turn, benefitted all sorts of other metrics (like skyrocketing their webinar registrants by about 107%).

And of course…

It helped bottom line too.

And it’s for these reasons that Fernando calls this strategy “the biggest game-changer” for Legacy Research.

In fact, they’re on track to blow past $400 million in revenue this year alone.

But the good news is…
