One question Jay and I have been constantly getting since our call is:
“Okay, I can see how important it is to become a Maven…so how do I do it exactly?”
Great question. And one that definitely needs addressed.
Because if you go about it the right way, you’ll achieve Maven status faster and easier than you can imagine.
But if you go about it the wrong way…yeesh.
So Jay and I put our heads together (again) and cranked out this Special Report titled
“The Maven Matrix Manifesto“

Michael Blaes
Disappointed in you, thought you had it ALL together!!! Hurry and fix the problem, I’m just dying to read the manifesto. Hurry!
we just added another server… sorry to those of you who had difficulties….
rich
Its a big file, might take time. I just got my download. Thanks, Rich.
Ok Rich, are you having fun yet? just having a bit of fun.
I don’t see any link to any document. How do I get the manifesto? The m3 page your link goes to is the squeeze page. This is an endless loop.
Hi Loyd, The way it works is you fill out the form and then check your email. the link in the email will take you to the download page.
Hope this helps
Michael Blaes
Lloyd,
Check your email.
Rich,
Thanks for the “Maven Matrix” it is the “7 Habits” for the new entrepreneur. Brilliant insights. A true roadmap to help achieve bottom line results.
Chris Swain
Opting out… thanks, anyway.
Am only using wireless broadband, maybe that’s the reason why it’s taking me to a series of pointing pages…and not the content you mentioned several pages ago.
I was really looking forward to getting the manifesto. Bummer drag man. Do I have to send 5 of my friends to you first when I don’t yet know the value of what you are giving?
I have a lot of faith but not that much faith! Besides, I have a policy that I try out what I refer others to first to ensure quality, appropriateness, and ethical standards.
If you can live with that, please send me a copy on my email.
A fan of the past (and perhaps the future)

barbara,
there was a link right underneath that gave you the option of not referring anyone…
Dear Rich!
U R like totally ‘UNPREDICTABLE’ CHESS PLAYER OF MARKETING….

Let’s keep going and Growing Together!
Hi Rich and Jay,
Managed to download my copy of “The Maven Matrix Manifesto” – I have roughly glanced through the whole report and man! It’s really GREAT stuff you’ve got in the report! And I really can’t believe you’re giving to us free! Gosh…
I’m going to glue my butt right in now and read and and every page of your 88-page report.
Kudos to you guys!
Cheers!

Rich & Jay-Love it! I am only a part of the way through it and my eyes were going faster than I could handle. Had to take a break and thank you guys. I have learned a lot from your material and it has made a huge difference in my marketing. Thank you so much! I look forward to writing another comment that includes the impact this PDF has had on my business.
Blessings,
~JoyMarino~
WAHM of 5!
Rich & Jay,
This is fantastic! Each iteration of this material is better, clearer, and more motivating. I’ve already had a ton of “A-ha’s” and I’m only halfway through…
Great job, and I am SO excited to be on my way to becoming a ROCKIN’ maven! :-)
Thank you!!
Liz
Greetings,
I am already a maven in my Nich & accepted as such. After 50 years as a Top Craftsman/Industrial Trainer/Lecturer/City & Guilds Assessor. I Made Leathergoods for Royalty & the rich & famous, starting with the late Duke of Windsor. (yes I really am that old). “I write Leather Instruction Manuals” which sell World Wide. My “Membership Categories” lists (all free) rival DMOS. for most Leather key search words on Google my site “The Leather Connection.com” is always listed on their first or second page. But I am not making a fortune just suplementing my pension. You should justify your statement that the nich needs to be something that the bulk of the general public go for like Health & Fitness.
Regards Francis Burdett-Mills (Chartered) MCIPD
hi everyone….
i’m glad you like it
just an fyi… i made some changes to the document – they’ll actually be more in a day or two, cause when i get inspired, i just keep going!
anyway, since my multi-media pros are all home sleeping, the file is rather large now 11mb. but i promise the sweet graphics and the extra content makes it all worth it. PROMISE!

Rich,
It won’t download for me either and I don’t get an error or any indication that a download is in process.
are you right clicking, and choosing save as?
fluffy,
i just tried again and it worked fine…

Remember me? It’s Ed in New Zealand one of your elite coaching students.
Your coaching program 2 years ago was definitely a life changer for me and I’ve been waiting for a suitable “upsell” since.
My profile doesn’t fit in with one of your usual clients in terms of internet marketing/ info product etc, in fact I don’t have an actual product – I publish travel info. So I’ve sat here and watched at least a couple of your launches come and go, frutstrated that they probably weren’t any use to me.
This is different, and I’ve only skim-read so far. This is beautiful, without a shadow of a doubt the best freebie you’ve put out since the internet manifesto.
If I’m straight up, I’m in a bit of a tight spot, debts and liabilities huge, house having to be sold, not getting as much sleep as I could be – but over-riding all of that has been a 100% belief that the business I’ve built is going to work out just fine one way or another.
This document couldn’t possibly have come along at a better time. I just hope you realise what you two have done here and just how much you’re going to have to deliver to live up to the suggestion and promise you’re making ( and I know you will)
I’m going to find a bit of space somewhere on a credit card somewhere and get signed up to this. One thing your trainings have taught me is to know at any given time, precisely what your business needs, and when you see it, to grab it. If someone wants a dollar off of you for something useless then make them prise it out of your cold dead hands. If someone wants big money for something that you know will help your business then find it, whatever it takes!
This is exeptional – Count me in!
Ed
Hey Rich and All,
The Red Pill Rocks and we have only digested half of it. And you are adding more?
Too Cool! Keep Up the Great Work!
Michael Blaes
PS. If the Freebee hounds arent happy with this, then nothing will ever satisfy them. I only hope that they take the time to digest and apply it.
Hey Rich!
Another good one! I was happy to recommend it on my blog. OK…maybe happy is an understatement. Thrilled! is a better word as I’m in the process of Maven-ifying, and recommending your outstanding ebooks, courses and conferences is just part of my ploy/plan to follow the course of action you outline so clearly!
Thanks again!
Stevie Knight
another WAHM of 5! ;)
I was excited to see what Rich and Jay had to say about this topic – especially in light of the upcoming event they’re holding.
I was disappointed to see a 17 page sales letter at the END of the manifesto pitching that event and the home study course.
I thought the whole point was that Mavens don’t need to pitch like “normal” people do.
And all of the “cred” establishment at the beginning of the manifesto isn’t necessary for Jay and Rich. Seriously. That’s another 28 pages right there.
So over half this document is geared to trigger our RAS, but not inform our brain of anything concrete.
I will definitely be reviewing this piece in an upcoming article. It’s a good lesson to learn about a launch. I’m almost shocked that you felt it necessary to water down the value of this report with all the fluff.
Might I suggest an executive summary next time? Yeesh.
I entirely agree with Lisa. 45 pages of self-promotion and sales letter are totally unnecessary, especially for a self-declared maven The intervening content is very exciting and relevant, although I was disappointed with the half finished appearance of the document. The ADHD is what keeps you so energetic, but the narcissism is just annoying. You have great ideas and great content, let it speak for itself.
I have benefitted immensely from the MAtrix. It has transformed my life beyond my wildest expectations infusing positivity and happiness, deepest love and peace.

Hi Rich!
Your reports all are awesome, but the last one disappointed me,reas Lenz because you made so big promises to tell all exactly how one should do it, and then, you tell only the big principles and if one wants the real details how to do it, then one have to buy from you. Nothing wrong with that, the report was awesome anyway, but you should live up to your promises. I hope this one will be better…
Thanks very much,
Andy
Hi, Sounds like I may be having another problem. Clicking the link to download is not working for me. I can only get the link to the blog/comments. Any other suggestions as to how I might access this document?
Hey Rich and All,
After being up till all hours of the night and absorbing about half of the document I can say this. This is one of the best reports that Rich has done and that is saying something. I realize that this was somewhat of a rough draft, but I think that Rich and Jay wanted people to get ahold of this information as soon as possible. To me this document was a reiteration of the Recorded Maven Call that so many people did not have the opportunity to hear. Also Rich stated in one of the posts that he was going to be adding more. So my question to the nay sayers is; what are you complaining about? I mean Rich could have charged several hundred dollars for the material, but he chose not to. He provided the central process to becoming a maven and made that available. He is in the Maven-Making Business after all, so would it make sense to give everything away when he is charging $2000 dollars for the intensive. I think not.
As for the credibility pages at the front of the report, if this was someones first exposure to Rich’s and Jay’s Material, then they need to know what they have been able to accomplish.
Concerning the sales letter at the end, They are in the business of making money. Of course they would include a sales letter. It only makes sense to.
Learn the lesson that you are being taught. If you pay attention to what is going on, you would realize that they are teaching you more about marketing and mavenship then could possibly be included in the report.
Thank You Rich and Jay for this insightful report. Its unfortunate that people do not recognize the value of what you are providing.
I for one do…..
Michael Blaes
PS. When are you going to announce the results of the two contests?
thanks mikeb,
it’s people like you who make all the hard work worthwhile
I have yet to even download the file (I have all the others, thanks Rich) but what I will say is this… how ungrateful some people are! The hours of work that go into something like this, the fact that it is free and then the cynicism, and lack of gratitude that comes back… just mindblowing.
Kudos for ignoring it I say! (However hard it may be)
I for one am eternally grateful for Rich being a fantastic marketing role model/ teacher besides anything else. Rich, even though your style and mine are very different, you have inspired me like perhaps no other internet marketer over recent months. Thank you : )
I am only half way through the document, but it has been valuable enough that I think it should be the marvelous Maven Matrix Manifesto. I’d be done by now, but I keep stopping to think how this relates to me and how I can act on this now.
Thanks, Rich!
i wuz walkin’ – now I’m running – great against the grain stuff
Hi all
I have no problem with the download processing
even I live in Indonesia with dial up connection.
But I was dazzled with that 4 steps. :-)
Reading now…
Thank Rich and Jay
Sudarmaji
Rich,
Thanks for another great document! The direction both you and Jay give are bang on!
Cheers,
John
Rich,
Thanks for the great book. I got about 11 pages in when I realized the smart move was to print it out, grab a cup of espresso and find an comfortable chair.
Thanks,
Tom
Hi Rich, I am here because I have not yet received the Maven Matrix Manifesto having waited overnight. This is my second attempt to access it and since I have been prompted to check this page out, I thought I might as well let you know that something is not quite working.
Ok, but let me not miss this opportunity to say thank you for what you do! Lucy
This is a great report and I look forward to finishing it tonight.
this is pure fiction
No e-mail has been sent to me to download THE MAVEN MATRIX MANIFESTO – can I be sent one please ? Thanks
Thanks – great marketing lessons learned here w/your process, sales copy hooks and video teasers. Nicely done.

Hi Rich, I’m about 1/4 way through the Manifesto. Great Stuff! Can’t wait to finish the whole thing.
Anyway, I just want you to know that you left out something on page 22… the part where it reads “Put Quotes in from Frank and Andy”. You may want to revise that.
Cheers,

Personal Development for the Book Smart
I’m about half-way through it and it really helps drill down what you covered in the call. This is some amazing stuff. The only negative I found were all the typos — I’ve been an editor for more than 15 years, they just jump out at me (unless, of course I wrote it, then they mysteriously hide from my eyes). ;-)
I totally agree people calling Rich Schefren guru of the gurus well just dropping by to express my gratitude to Rich Schefren
for the great insights and information you had provided to the peoples. thanks!
Hi Rich
Can’t wait to receive this report! These links are not working correctly to the various pages….will check tommorrow for download. … no problemooooo
Cheers
Berry
I didn’t download it — and I’m not going to. Why? Because of your lengthy “terms” [of service] page. I’m not a lawyer. Do you really expect me to wade through — and agree to — a legal contract just so I can read a sales letter masquerading as a report? I’ll pass…
thanks Rich let me see what I get from this this time.
Franck.
It amazes me that no matter how much you give, people are either just never satisfied or continuing finding fault in what you are giving. Well, to each their own . . .
You have given so much with this information, information that I have spent thousands on in the past. This just takes what was taught by Jay to the present moment and that’s all we have; here and now. I see the light as it were and although I have done some to achieve expertise, I haven’t done near enough to attain the mavenship status. But now I know and now I will.
This is by far the best manifesto, well I don’t know about the best because they were all so good, but this is a concise step-by-step that Jay and Rich have charged KK’s — and I’ve paid!
Thank you Jay and Rich-one who I have followed and read for many years and the other who I have in the past couple of years. You both rock!
I’ll meet you at the top my friends, as I will those here that take this and make something of it like Ed of New Zealand and many others.
To the rest of the whiners, good luck, but I do understand the mentality. I just hope you find your way out of your wasteland and become mavens of your industry too.
well, I expect the report to be good..but never got it…..and I was referred from Stompernet? hmmmm I think if you dont give all your friends emails you dont get jack…s**** nice.
I never saw so many negative comments on a giveaway….now I am one I guess.
Just be professional.
Yep thats the trick….I put the emails….got the report.
Very useful…step-by-step instructions…Jay and Rich always deliver…Having this type of information is like x-ray, you know what and why it’s happening…even if the doer is doing it consiously or unconciously….Thanks!!!
I downloaded and read ‘The Maven Matrix Manifesto’ and read it yesterday. I have been thinking about it a lot.
I value the report and the steps I am asked to take directly impacts my way of working.
If I can get so much for free, how much will I get from a paid program is unbelievable…
When something is given for free, the amount of information provided reflects the confidence of the authors in their ability to give hundred times more to paid customers.
And the sincerity and concern with which I am pushed to take action, the task sheets I am asked to complete and the steps I am persuaded to take have increased my respect for Rich Schefren and Jay Abraham.
Whether I join their program or not I am given so much that can get me started and I may eventually be ready to take up their offer.
As a teacher I always have had great respect for people who want others to learn in spite of the returns. No effort goes waste in this world and you will always get results whether you are an internet marketer or not, but the selfless thought and action do count. There are many out there ready to give us trash after taking our money and here we get a treasure without paying anything.
Thanks Rich and Jay for the wonderful document. It changed my perception forever.
Hi Rich,
I would love to make a comment, but unfortunately I can’t. I haven’t received the link yet to be able to download your M3 document.
I have applied for the link twice, going through the “process” and haven’t gotten the email. I am guessing that maybe your servers are overloaded or there is a glitch in the email responder, either way I am eagarily awaiting the link.
Looking forward to it,
Thanks,
Doug

Hi Rich
Just downloaded the report so easy , i didnt get through it yet but am sure it will be one of the best like everything else you did for us
Thanks Rich, Thanks Jay
This is really changing the face of marketing as we know it. Am looking forward to a more detailed read at a quiet time. Doug
Hi Rich,
Listen. After reading The Maven Matrix Manifesto I got an eerie feeling that you’ve been snooping around in my office and peeking at what I’m doing. I actually checked the back of my hard drive to see if there were any extra devices coming out of it:) No seriously.
I thoroughly enjoyed that read. I felt like you were speaking to me. As a matter of fact, I felt like you had spoke it to me in the past (Perhaps, I it’s telepathy).
The action steps were of great importance to me. Funny thing is while I was a student of yours in strategicprofits, I actually mentioned to you that I was having a difficult time finding my passions and deciding on a niche. Your advice was “it will come to me in time.” Well, back then I was chunking out a big piece of change for your services and thinking to myself “Is this man for real? I need him to help me find my passion NOW!”
Ultimately, I left the program because I had spent several months getting, what I thought was, nowhere close to finding my niche and thought I was wasting my time and money. Consequently, I found myself a personal mentor, who just happened to be one of your students, that I work with on a very VIP level and began my new adventure.
Fast forward six months later and I read your latest manifesto and BAM! Just like that. It hits me like a pillowcase full of ice, my newest adventure is exactly what my passion is.
The Maven Manifesto helped me to identify a part of me that I didn’t even know existed. The Maven Manifesto helped me to clarify and define why I am doing what I am doing. It helped me to answer questions that will lead me on the road to REALLY helping my market get what they need. It helped me to realize that I wasn’t wasting my money last year.
I am flustered. You told me before that I will realize my passion when it’s time to realize what my passion is and it took six months, thousands of dollars worth of one-one coaching, and a darn free manifesto for it to really manifest.
That, my friend, is priceless. I don’t know about anybody else, but I can assure you that this report has helped me tremendously.
Thank you and thank you again.
P.S. I really wish I could be a part of the Orlando Magic. Unfortunately, mom was just diagnosed with cancer and I can’t leave her right now. We will meet soon so I can give you a big hug and thank you in person :) Have a wonderful time.
Hi Rich,
Just downloaded and looking forward to reading your report as always.
Thanks
John
Hi Rich
You and Jay have raised the bar again when it comes to “moving the freeline” by providing entrepreneurs with a diagnostic and marketing roadmap that puts the majority of other “free” marketing information to shame.
The Maven Matrix Manifesto is an awesome contribution that breaks through the traditional marketing models to reveal a clear way forward to storm up the ranks of “maven” status.
As I expand my coaching business online, I’ll be referring to this document many times over and acting on the steps that you and Jay have laid out.
Thanks a Million
Simon Allard
Hi Rich
you really forced me to read M3 from beginning to the end, to make an abstract, to develop an action plan. And more … I went back to your AAD and IBM documents and collected some more valuabes that I had not found before.
i am not in the internet business but this is absolutely irrelevant for the value and relevance of your advice.
yes I recommended reading M3 to others and am spreading the news of the MavenSchefern.
thanks,
Cas
If you look at the comments above, you can see that the polarizing commentary is EXACTLY what Rich is talking about in his manifesto. In order to be a Maven, you have to have positive and negative feedback – people either love you or hate you. This blog is a GREAT example of that. You all should be taking notes.
I don’t disagree that a sales page is a requisite for a report like this – heck, I know Rich is in business to make money.
What unsettles me is that Rich and Jay have already established themselves as Mavens in their markets, and if we are to learn from them as they have positioned themselves, then in their own words, they don’t NEED to spend 28 pages pumping themselves or their program. They certainly don’t need an additional 17 pages to pitch their program.
Seriously, the juicy content that Rich and Jay have provided really DOES speak for itself. Anyone who doesn’t see the value in it is mental. It’s the extra stuff that I just can’t get with.
The article I wrote about it is already in heavy rotation – That’s how much people want to know about what’s going on. And that’s how good the content is.
You just have to skip ahead a few pages to get the the meat of it.
I too would like to see this report, but even after waiting a few hours, and resubmitting my details it hasn’t been delivered here.
BRAY
Rich:
I really enjoyed the lessons. I am not quite through the “manifesto” yet but I wanted to reply. I am one of those that is generally skeptical of the e-mailers that reach out to me. Yet somehow you have managed to stay in my inbox. (I often coach my clients to get rid of all the incoming e-mailers to improve productivity). For the last 6 months or so, I have slowly been learning a lot form you, without even paying attention. I have been especially been trying to figure out how you have been able to stay in my inbox despite my efforts to get rid of distractions.
The manifesto explained it all to me, and apparently it has been working. I read through the first 62 pages and I realize that, not only am I doing most of this stuff, it is the same thing I try to coach my clients to do.
Even still, the exercise have allowed me to add clarity and focus to my work.
If people are actually taking time out of their life to come to this site and complain, they just haven’t consider that what you do is working on them also. After all – You must, at least “have their attention.”
Thank You.
Mike
I opened the manifest and was welcomed with a typical sales letter. I scrolled down the 15mb document, and I could not find any concrete and helpful information. Please remove me from the mailing list.
There is your honest review.
Hey Rich and Jay,
Typical of most well written, well thought out pieces of art, whether it’s a picture, a song or a book, at first glance it’s just easy on the eyes, ears or mind. You’re kind of just looking with no real expectations and then “BAM†something strikes a nerve and gets your attention causing you to take that second glance. It’s that second time around, that second glance when you start to see what the artist wrote, what he felt, what he wanted you to see. His creation,â€THERE’S NO ESCAPE!â€
If you don’t understand or see what was intended by the artist, don’t complain; change your point of observation. This small difference may create a life changing event for you, who knows?
Not everyone likes Van Gogh or Dali yet their art sells for millions of dollars. Not everyone will agree with this Manifesto yet it may create many Millionaires.
Rich, I’m enjoying your art, you’re a Master!
As usual, I thoroughly enjoyed your report. I am so sad that I cannot attend your courses, but unfortunately your prices are way beyond my means. However, there is enough solid information provided for me to start building on and build I will.
BTW your proof reader is slipping.
Sandy
83 pages to say “in you are good in your niche and stand out, you’ll make a ton of money”. okay ….
lots of theory and general ideas that make newbies go “WOW”, yet zero input on how actual successful online businesses are built from scratch
for a guy who makes millions, $100 to get a decent PDF design is a no-brainer.
no solution for people with limited or no budget, who are the MAJORITY of those trying to make an living online at this moment.
1.43 BILLION web users cannot be mavens. there is not enough room for all.
those who can spare $5000 for a “guru” seminar, can hire a team of expert programmers/designers in Russia, built a great website and move on with their lives. a ton of people do this every day.
what the PDF talks about is business 101 fundamentals. if people raving here think that this is advanced stuff, they’re must be living under a rock for the last 100 years.
you have the wrong idea of how internet works as a structure, and seem to know virtually nothing about its culture. web users have a very specific behavior pattern and webmasters know that since the 90s. that’s why they make a ton of money without any theories, but only through systematic observation and always under the radar.
when it comes to online business it is all about scale and duplication. expert value comes 2nd at best. you are one click away from the next competitor and most online users seek stuff in a different way. there is no one-size-fits-all “strategy” when it comes to online business. that’s a FACT. different niches require a different approach.
bottom line: geeks still rule. marketing comes 2nd.
web 2.0 is the proof of that. (youtube, myspace, facebook, etc)
they did NOTHING new. just old school methods with lots of hype and re-packaging
people should decide what they want to do online, see what others do on their niche already, get the best competitor methods, solutions, products, services, and aggregate them into their business plan. then, do what they haven’t done yet and offer what they offer too, plus what they don’t. its not rocket science. offer a good service, treat your customers like gold, and they will come back with friends and more money to spend. it is simple as that.
some people think that online business is different than “real” business, which is not. it is the same people buying online too. the difference is that the medium has a very distinct structure that allows someone with enough experience to track people in this ecosystem and how they behave to determine who’s experienced web user and who’s not, and thus re-adjust their strategy accordingly
don’t try to rediscover the wheel. there is nothing new about business. maybe a few new tricks for online business, but it is all about packaging and junk food companies are the living proof of that
one suggestion: if you cannot define your target audience, do not talk about millions & billions to a list that has people barely making 3 figures a month. (and I know a lot of them)
these theories / methods do not apply to all people / niches.
However, the video on Google is very good so I gave it 5 / 5
How much exactly did you pay for Rick’s FREE report??
If you could take away anything that increased your income by $10 a week, that would be an extra $520 he gave you year in and year out.
But your criticism is that you knew it all already. Therefore Rick did a bad thing because you’re smarter than everyone else.
My question is, what you you going to do with the extra $520 you earn from Ricks FREE report!
Rich,
You’ve affirmed what I’ve suspected all along but were not quite able to articulate the way that you and Jay have. Thanks for the time and effort you took to write such a very useful guide. I plan on putting it to use immediately.
Hi Rich,
A big thanks from me here in South africa. Your work certainly is a huge cut above the available hype on the net. Thank you.
I sincerely regret for not buying your products before but boyo the gurrus milked me dry in believing them. They have away with words convincing you to part with your dollars, until you came along wit a real art of writing sensibly and informaly and awsome viewpoints. Thanks
Niel
I don’t know why, but when I try to download, it brings me through the 4 steps again (and again and again). Can you tell me how to get past that and get to the actual download?
Thanks,
Krissi
Rick, can I make a confession? Up until yesterday, you never got an even break from me. You see, in your photo you were too “Hollywood” good looking…too slick…in my prejudiced mind.
So, I never paid any attention to any of your stuff.
I took a look this time only because another maven sent me an email recommending your stuff – Andy Jenkins. (It was a pure demonstration that Mavenhood kicks butt!)
But then, you laid out all the juicy bits. Yes, you did!
Let me tell ya, I am the author of The Doctor Who Cures Cancer and a guy who slept on a friend’s sleep sofa for two years to get the book researched and written.
Not only will you and your M3 allow me to promote my passion full time, but you’ll be partially credited for helping to bring this wonderful, true story front and center!
In other words, your magnificent generosity in providing your Maven Matrix Manifesto will help prevent more tears from being shed when the doctor says, “You’ve got cancer.”
Oh, and your contribution will save many lives and prevent a lot of disfigurement and pain as well.
I could go on and on, but let me just say, “You done good! Real good!”

Rich,
Another fine piece of work from you and your team, that fits nicely into the puzzle. Not that it remains a puzzle for those who are willing to take the time to read, learn, and implement the steps necessary to make their online business plans work.
That’s correct, it takes effort and work. There are too many I see that want the easy way out, and want it all done for them. Times may change, but human nature is such that many want to sit back, let someone else work their backsides off, and then these sideliners expect to be handed the rewards of someone else’s labor.
Your analogies in the report kept bringing to mind another “picture” that I recall from grocery shopping with my mother when I was young. I’d always beg her to buy me the Pepperidge Farms Goldfish crackers. Perhaps you remember them. What always struck me was the ONE fish going against the flow of the school, and doing his own thing.
I believe it has to be the same way for any of us wanting to succeed. Sure, learn from those who have gone before us, but don’t be so quick to jump on the same wagon as all the others who copycat the same methods and tone. If everyone was jumping off a bridge into a very deep gorge, would you follow?
As for the comments about the opening and closing sections of the report, for some of us that have followed you for some time, it may be areas that do not need repeating, but, there are always newcomers that will benefit from learning about you and Jay. A lot will be learned from Mr. Abraham!
Keep up the wonderful work.
Best wishes,
Paul
(The one going against the flow of the rest of the fish!)
One more thing. Two more things.I said you “laid out all the juicy bits.” Well that’s not quite adequate. It’s more like you gave a us a bath in bubbly champagne.
And now we’re drunk with riches.
Secondly, this is the type of info that doesn’t expire. There’s no techie upgrade that makes it obsolete, or turns it into yesterday’s buggy whip.
These methods worked last year, they’ll work this year and they’ll continue to work the next.
Only you’ll want to do it first before someone else grabs the Maven crown in your niche before you.
Kelley Eidem, author of The Doctor Who Cures Cancer
Rich,
All I can say is if the people who are spending their energy carping and cavilling over your latest great FREE report would invest 1/10th of that energy applying your 11-step Maven program to their business, they’d be way ahead.
As a BGS coaching student I can attest that your stuff works and this latest Manifesto serves as a wake-up call to me to apply your guidance to my business once again.
By the way, as a result of what I learned in the BGS program, I completely switched businesses for one that works and feeds my real estate passion.
Thanks for everything.
Pam
” You can please some of the people some of the time,
you can please all of the people some of the time,
but you can’t please all of the people all of the time.” WC.
I have unfortunately lost my 15 yr bricks and mortar business following an unrelated accident, having had to say goodby to my employees aswell and plummeted to a low lonely place in life as a result, a case of having all my eggs in one basket.
Confidence shattered I searched through the exasperating field of business opportunities online only to find a flock of gannets in a technical feeding frenzy seldom offering little more than a outdated bar of candy flossed with almost unethical sweeteners like grasping at straws to line tiny pockets, and crushing many folks aspirations, many legitimate proofs virtually lost in the madding crowd.
True entreprenureal values are a rare comodity and when found they shine out like a beacon in the mist, when all is dusted off Rich and Jays Maven Matrix Manifesto along with the likes of Smarts and Mass control will inaugurate a change online back to true business social marketing values that count and have stood the test of time.
I for one ‘forgiving the slight grammatical imperfections as you do’ have found inspiration to start again in this excellent piece of free enterprise and now armed with a thinking persons blueprint to forge forward with and recarve my place with pride.
It may take several iterations before I find my way but having such a roadmap is an invaluable tool, and it is free too.
This is the defacto future of online entrepreneurship, ignore it at your peril, and an excellent labour of love from such revered business gentlemen, thank you.
Keep me definitely on your list.
Allan.
This might be worth trying out, Alan, if you’re dealing with any nerve pain from your injures.
I discovered this quite by accident. I started taking daily 400 mg of CoQ10, a supplement, and my nerve pain went down about 80-90% the very first day!
I shared this with a friend who was also suffering 24/7. It worked for her, too.
The price on CoQ10 has dropped dramatically in the last couple of months. What used to cost $80 can now be bought for $15 due to a new facility opening in the US.
I hope this helps you.
Kelley Eidem, author The Doctor Who Cures Cancer
I was reading some of the comments, and land sakes Rich, if you have ADHD then maybe that is why I’m getting something out of this. This is exactly the stuff that I always believed in but never applied. I’m nowhere near famous or successfull, but I have a dream, and this did it for me. Now I know where I’m going.
Thank you
Jac
The Manifesto Matrix is excellent. Rich and Jay, you have done a hell of a job.
The ideas and subject matter is very in depth and practical. I think Jay and Rich have gone deep into what really works, and enable you to put this FREE information to work right away.
I don’t have the funds to come to Orlando for the live training (which would be a dream come true), but I will put this free information to work in my new start-up. I am planning to use my magnetic personality, and 16 years of experience to change my life forever.
I’ll send you the success story once it happens. Thank you for the motivation and information.
As a person with limited funds, can you recommend any free or low cost vehicles for putting an opt-in form into a web page and makes it easy to email your list?
I’ve already finished the steps in the Matrix to get my business started fast. The “character” types I’m most congruent with are:
1. The Well-placed Intelligent Resource
2. The Advocate
3. The Iconoclast
4. The Futurist
I think these will most likely help my customers and give them the most value.
Thanks, and look for my success story!
Rich and Jay,
This is fantastic stuff. Your Manifesto both (a) presents pure marketing/branding gold, and (b) demonstrates its use in action. These people that are pitching a fit about the fact that it was also a sales letter are TOTALLY missing the point. The value IS there; it’s our job to put it into action!
You got our attention — and frankly — you got it enough to get several people to come on your blog and throw a fit about it. I wish I had people throwing tantrums at me on my own blog (but they sure will be within the next 6-12 months)!
Keep it up, Rich. I already know Jay is a stud, and I’m just learning about you. I plan to look to both of you for business leadership long into the future. Perhaps we’ll share the stage together at a seminar in a few years…
Best regards,
Joshua D. White
Hi Rich,
thanks again for these fantastic reports.
I think it’s even better than the “Attention-Edition”.
Your offer is really a no-brainer. Unfortunately it’s to short-term for me. Hope you’ll repeat it sometime in the future.
To your success in Orlando.
Roland
Hi Rich, hi everybody!
I posted this comment on a page on my site too.

I think it worths doing this!!
Jay Abraham was a revelation to me! Thanks to Rich Schefren’s series of 5 videos from an IM seminar, I had the chance to watch Jay explaining a few things. Many people belive that Internet success is something that has to do with fortune, or heavy computer knowledge. Finally, when you hear Jay speaking, you realize that so many good-common sense principles and ideas escape our attention. The funny thing is that most of us think even about our own business in terms of scarcity. Jay simply demonstrated one piece of simple truth: How do we advertise? How much do we invest? Do we really analyze THE FACTS? Each promotional campaign brings in customers. But that’s too much an obvious truth to discuss. What is not so obvious, especially in digital products (oooppss! ), is the other side of the promotion: We get INFORMATION. Are we prepared to benefit from this information? Do we know HOW TO do it? Do we process this information? Most of us (including me… :( ) whether do not know how to get the most of it, or just… well, don’t like saying this but it is true, well, we are too happy that we sold, actually to think “out of the boxâ€. Jay sais: Have you figured out what is the cost of advertising? How many direct cash-in it produces? And here is the bomb: How much IN BACK-SALES? Yeap… Back-sales! The case study at the seminar, was one of the students. A MD. He ran ads, but thought $ 1,500 was pretty expensive. It took Jay about 60 seconds to prove him he was deadly wrong. His campaign worth $ 1,500 monrhly. This brought him in direct sales of medical (cosmetics) services about 20 clients at $ 250 each. The complete procedure, consisted of a cycle at about 5 sessions, which meant $1,250 per client per month.
Now, simple maths, say this campaign worths 20 x 1,250 = $ 25,000!! Which means relative to the campaign, an amount of advertising expenses of 6%!! It is obvious what we ignore, yet, we still do it… Jay concluded that if an investment of $ 6 brings in a gross profit of $ 96, (which itself means 1600% profits!!!) Why wouldn’t he spend say at least 20 % of the gross income? Good question!
Why did I tell you this? It’s simple maths and basic advertising knowledge. We almost all know it, but… DO WE USE IT? I mean, do we put it into ACTION? Facts prove that about 5% of us do this….
The second reason I told you this, was to let you know who Jay Abraham is.
So now, knowing whom you are dealing with, maybe you will rush to download this FREE PDF SEMINAR of Rich Schefren & Jay Abraham! Do it, while still free! They might change their mind and sell it! You might find in this 83 page BOOK highly valuable ideas for your business!! You might call it “report†if that’s what you want, but let me tell you: IT IS A BOOK!!
Go get it, while still available for free! Well,… unless you really want to be sorry later…

You should not even have to wait for the report…as long as you add additional email addresses…then the report is instant…not sent.
Hi Rich…regarding the M3…all I can say is 2 things…..WOW and Thank You!!!!….I was up all night after devouring it (your little typos and all…lol…sorry had to say it)….I already put in place an entire plan just over night here and I am going to be implementing it in the next 2-3 weeks…(have some ground work to do first). With my own knowledge combined with yours, I’m well on my way. But my kids (I’m a single mom of 3) thought I was crazy when they woke up this morning and I was still at the computer plugging away.
I do have a few competitors here in my market (this is offline and online), and although I have already begun to make one of them slowly shut down because they don’t want to bother to have to compete at all, I still have to climb the rest of the way to the top!! So it is all in the works. I already knew I wanted to be at the top of my market, had an idea how to go about it, but your plan was a nice layout to help organize it more and implement it. Now there’s nothing stopping me. I look forward to letting you know how it turns out, because I know it’s going to be great!!
I also have to comment quickly about those people who were complaining about the fact that those videos of Jay were so short and not in full. It never even occurred to me that they were not in full. If they are unable to take the bits and pieces they did get for free and implement it into thier work in one way or another, then perhaps they shouldn’t be trying to do what they’re doing. You need to have a good base knowledge of what it is you’re doing or planning to do in order to fully benefit from those tidbits (that’s just my opinion though)Unfortunately it’s also about us using the bits of info you give and doing what we can with it. I was happy to even get that much for free, to hold me over until the time that I can afford to attend the real thing! And if someone wants this bad enough they will find a way to make it happen without you having to hand it out for nothing! (as it is you give enough to us for free) So good for you with your decision to NOT give it all away. Some things are better left unfinished in order to push certain people to really decide what it is they want to acomplish!! I know you helped make my vision clearer!!
You and Jay ROCK!!!! I love you guys!!!
Again, thank you for thinking of us “little guysâ€!!!
Hi rich and Jay,
The Manifesto is magnifcant. I read it immediately and noted that I am a long way from being able to afford a document salespage like this. What I admire is that your sale page give such valuable insights.
The idea of being a Maven in my business excites me totally.
Thanks for the exercises that brings one closer to mavenhood.
What does not excite me in the least is going to Orlando and sitting in a chair with hundreds of other wannabe Mavens. I have tried this with other gurus and the method does not work for me. However you practice what you preach because even in the sales page I can sence how much to care about my success.
I will use the advice to see if I can somehow propell myself …
Thanks again for your generosity – 83 pages!
CELIA
Rich,
I certainly would recommend M3 to others and have already done so. This is the best article on marketing that I have ever read in my life, and I say that knowing that it is, in part, a sales letter. Terrific stuff, keep up the good work.
Curt Siemers
I posted earlier, and am quite pleased by the refinements to the second version of the document. The decisive editing and cutting at the beginning of the document has allowed the fascinating and thought-provoking content to stand forth on it’s own. The graphics and text have been refined, and the valuable message is coming across much more clearly.
As always for me this happens, I got an easy security job starting soon, but need to finish odds & ends on my lawn Jobs that I’m giving up, so it all of a sudden got busy and did not get a chance to look at it yet, downloaded just now, so for sure I need a few days now, not in control just yet, thanks for understanding… Horst
I read the first 43 pages of the Matrix Manifesto and its a “M.M.M.” (Matrix Manifesto Masterpiece !). Many people hide behind the products that they are marketing, and totally forget that a person will responds to your life story (the good and the bad things), including your global mission of being a personal “P.S.S.” (Problem Solver Specialist) for others.
Keep up the good work!

Rich/Jay,
After getting caught in a never ending loop of ‘fill in the blanks’ and getting nowhere, (what was that all about?), your link showed up in my mail box. Reluctantly, I clicked the link to the pdf before deleting the message and was glad I did.
What amazed me more than the cool concepts you guys presented was that folks like you could be so smart and accomplished (I mean that sincerely) and release to the public a document obviously niether of you took the time read yourselves.
Kudos on the content, but shame on you for not taking the time to proof read that bad boy. And your squeeze page maze was intolerable to put it mildly. I couldn’t get past the never ending sqeeze pages to get to the gold.
That being said, I like your train of thought, so get your act together and pay better attention next time ;-)
Your Manifesto was like the Mona Lisa with a chipped tooth, almost a classic.
Seriously, great stuff! You guys continue to have a lot to offer. Thanks for providing the link…keep me in the loop.

Many years ago I was told I would become a guru! To be truthful it sounds over the top and boastful. I have not gone past page three but already I have had an impactful insight.
This is an incredible time that we are in, with an explosion in a thirst for spirituality a real sense of Self. That will take us beyond duality.
I am ready to accept the role of spiritual maven, particularly financial healing. So it has already given me courage to be open about my hearts desire.
Joseph
Hi Rich,
I downloaded it and read the entire ebook today. It was perfect timing because I’m getting ready to launch a new site (InspirationPublications.com) with a few friends. After I read your report, we decided to change our positioning so that we would be able to connect with clients/readers better. So, the site will now go live a few days later (probably March 1), but we feel much more confident that the people we wish to reach will benefit more. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this great info!
Vivian
Thank you for your Maven Matrix Manifesto. I read it all through in one gulp, did the assignments and WOW – I could see the path ahead. I’ve signed up for your Home Study Course as I’m outside USA. Trust me, this is much better than the Mass Control course.
I’m going to be a Maven!
THANK YOU Rich & Jay! Awesome!
Hi Rich
With this report you are giving away the gold. And I have already planned my next move based on this valuable report.
You are giving the ultimate recipe to great success if people follow yours and Jay’s advice. If people seriously are working after this recipe their business will go much faster forward or actually almost explode. I will implement the elements from this report in my business as fast as I can.
Thanks Rich and Jay
See you at the top

What an amazing read – Rich, you & Jay must be the heroes of lateral thinking! Your creativity is what impressed me.
You’re right – so many of us ARE folowing the same pattern, hoping for a pick-up here & there & probably doing more hours at our computers than a full-time JOB entails. I would love to do your home-study course, but I am 69, a pensioner, & have spent so much more on marketing opportunities in the past 3 months than I can afford ( with few results I might add!), that it is financially impossible at this stage. My lack of technical knowledge would probably drive you crazy anyhow!
However, I WILL make use of the manifesto & put as much of it into practice as I can. Your honesty & seemingly genuine desire to help others on their way is refreshing in a marketplace where so many people are out to take all they can get.
Rich
This is great, valuable information. Mavenhood makes sense, and you lay out a path that makes it possible on almost any scale. I got it yesterday, read it twice and am halfway through completing my initial matrix. Really wanted to sign up for the face to face seminar in Orlando, in fact I agonized over it last night (which was the deadline). Just can’t quite pull it off this quickly. Thanks for the great work and guidance.
Tom
MikeB I agree with you – study your mentors’ methods and you’ll learn a lot.
Thank you for yet another opportunity, Rich and Jay.
Hi Guys,
I like the content but found it to be very long so I just skimmed through the document to find what I was looking for. But overall, there were some interesting things, I learned a little bit, but already knew most of it from other sources. For those who didn’t, they seemed to love it so keep up the good work!
Jeremy
I found your site via Dean Jackson at NewInformation!, I think its good info.
However I am a Manufacturers Rep and having some trouble seeing how I can reposition myself to blast off. I don’t think there could be a metal maven.
Cheers
A total waste of my time, after reading the first 28 pages on why I should be reading the document that I am reading I got fed up. I dont have the time for such nonsence give me content or give me death.
Just wanted to stop by and say your report was great and definitely informative.I always look forward to your emails.I appreciate all the value you give.
Thanks again,

Here is the winning formula on a gold plate.
Come on guys. Who will be the next maven?
Rich,
Thank you for your Maven report. I’ve been reading about every business needing a hero , but I just didn’t know how to implement the idea.
It’s not that I don’t have an interesting story. I retired early from a full professorship position (the highest rank in acadmia). I was ranked the fifth in the world for research productivity in my field.
I retired early because I wanted to help small business owners to apply my research on market segmentation so they can target their markets inexpensively. Most small business owners just can’t avoid to hire a marketing agency to do it for them so they loose an advantage that large businesses use. I wanted to change that.
Still I didn’t know how to tell my story because I had all the believes about not bragging about myself that you discuss in your Maven report.
Plus I was afraid that my being a former professor and a researcher would turn off my potential small business customers. I was so pleased to find “researcher” and “absent minded professor” in the top 24 maven personas because I am truly both.
After reading your report, I now understand what I need to do. I’ve already worked through seven of the eleven steps and through the process so far, I’m beginning to discover how to position myself so that I can meet my goal of helping small business owners improve their target marketing.
Thank you for this great information. You truly practice what you preach.
Linda,
Your story sounds interesting already!
I’m sure as a researcher you gain a lot of knowledge.
If you need a ginnie pig to put into action, please contact me. Over 17 years ago I drop out from college to pursuit my dream of becoming an business owner. Since them I have my part of failure and success. Now, I’m here standing. I feel you’re about to become the next maven on this list!
Jay is a know quantity. To me Rich is just another conman who can talk the talk and is only out for Rich. Long on talk but short on delivering anything to anyone that has real substance and value. Real successsful business people actually keep their mouths shut and rarely reveal the secrets to their success.
I have watched and read the junk send out by Rich for a year and I have never been impresed with anything he has provided.
Warren Buffet is someone I admire. Rich certainly is not money wise, ethics wise, or integrity wise, He is just about the money for Rich. Rich should run for congress he would fit right in the culture of corruption that resides in our nations capital
Hi Rich and Jay,
I am so excited by your work. It’ s only a few days that I found your website. I am German and I live in Germany, my English is not perfect and I need more time to read this manifesto. I am starting with my own Internet business and I am so happy that I got to know you in this situation.
I am very inspired. Thank you so much and I will pass on your work to some friends
Greetings from Old Germany
Marion
Hey Rich,
To be honest, as busy as I’ve been lately, I’ve only had time to glance through your M3 pdf.(I’ll be reading it in more detail as my time allows) I can already tell though, that it has a ton of great free info in it. But thats what most of us in the internet marketing community have come to expect when it has the name “Rich Schefren” on it. Looks like you continue to deliver the goods, and exceed our expectations each and every time.
I’m taking your advice from what I learned in the Secret Classroom DVD and your reports like the one you just released along with some of my own ideas and I’m going to be applying it to my social network for internet marketers site thats close to launching.
I decided over a year and a half ago, when I began developing and coding my own social network, that I was going to release something different and position myself as an authority in that area as opposed to just copying what everyone else seemed to be doing at the time. It’s been harder than hell at times, a real juggling act, but in the end I think it will pay off.
I have a feeling that one of these days, I’ll be in need of your paid services. Great to see Jay in the mix again, I’ve listened and learned a lot from that guy. Thanks again for the great info and I’ll see ya around.

It’s an absolute blessing to have people like Rich & Jay who always know when and how to give unconditionally to others when needed. You often hear some people say:” oh, they are doing this because they are in a process of promoting something for their self served interest.” To me, a free report of this magnitude should be regarded as a gift you can never pay back whoever gave it to you. It took a lot of time and effort on their part. We should be thankful.
It’s not only priceless but the thought behind putting it together is well spirited. I am vastly convinced that they conceived this idea for the purpose of enlightening whoever is worth taking in the information and putting it to good use. Obviously, it can only serve the purpose of like minded individuals aggressively willing to not only prosper but also to understand how valuable it is to give big not expecting anything in return.
The interesting thing is, it comes back to you 10,000 folds, you can’t even help that, because it is automatic. That is what these two gentelmen have been doing through their careers: giving quality content to others on an ongoing basis.
For being the givers they are, as a result they are place in life where they are as we speak. The Mavern Metrix Manifesto is just a sheer manifestation of that mindset. I hope I made some sense.
Thank you.
Hi Rich and Jay,
They say that the solution to any great problem or challenge one may encounter can be found if you learn how to ask the right questions of yourself and others.
The Maven Matrix Manifesto allowed me to further evaluate the infrastructure and foundation of my business as it is and guided me through a very specific and defined process of analysis through the asking of simple and integral questions based on your many years of research and experience in the business world. It helped me breakthrough some inertia points in my planning and implementation strategies, cut my learning curve by about 70% and provided amazing clarity and direction
in a very practical, hands-on, YOU CAN DO THIS kinda way.
You know, what really made this report amazing palpable, were the case studies combined with the knowledge and actionable insights strategically placed in just the right way to help you see the big picture and apply it specifically to your situation in the here and now. I mean right now.
I am becoming a Maven right now.
I appreciated the opening pages of the document. There are so many “hidden” nuggets within. As Jay introduced Rich and shared a little about the results he and one of his clients were able to achieve as an example of the power of Mavenship in business, I learned about certain common denominators one should desire to build relationships with other business professionals, stand out from the crowd, and go after your big vision with reckless abandon.
I got it. I understand every element and have changed some of my business strategies, especially in the areas of sales and marketing, to accomodate the direction I have so generously received from you guys. I am already implementing much of what I have learned. It really is about having a long-term perspective and focusing on quality as opposed to quantity in business and in life.
I have taken the grand leap to entrepreneurship (in the truest sense of the word) and am in a process of transition at the moment. At times I have been tempted to focus exclusively on meeting expenses, paying off debts, financial obligations, what I don’t have but “need” to get from where I am to where I want to be….etc., but I choose to make decisions in favor of my passions, from a space of abundance, and in support of the goals and objectives I have chosen to fulfill based on the gifts, talents, and abilities I was born to share with the world.
I choose to do the very best with what I have and when there is the illusion of lack, I will create more with all that I have been given. This is a very exciting time! It really is all about perspective, belief, and the willingness to take action on the insight we receive from the knowledge we have been given.
I want to encourage everyone reading this post who may be functioning under the illusion of lack and tempted to allow that illusion to control their decisions, sabotage their relationships or perhaps their ability to identify and glean the knowledge, insight, and direction contained in this report (and/or any other great resource, mentor, teacher or friend) to take another look at their business plans, spreadsheets, life goals and objectives, values, results and ask themselves—-who am I? what have I become or who am I becoming as start, develop and/or market my business, products and services. What have I or am I contributing to my family, friends, associates, colleagues, clients in a way that enriches their lives or how have my business results, operations or lack thereof hindered me in the way of relationships, health, happiness, time constraints or freedom of self-expression?
These are some questions I have asked of myself to help me gain clarity and perspective as I continue on my journey of personal development and business success as I see it. Business affects life and life affects business.
“Personal success is built on the foundation of character, and character is the result of hundreds and hundreds of choices you may make that gradually turn who you are at any given moment into who you want to be. If that decision-making process is not present, you’ll still be somebody—you’ll still be alive—but you may have a personality rather than a character, and to me that’s something very different.
Character isn’t something you were born with and can’t change, like your fingerprints. It’s something you must take responsibility for forming. You build character by how you respond to what happens in your life, whether it’s winning every game, losing every game, getting rich or dealing with hard times.” Jim Rohn
When we build character we build trust and trust is one of the grand halllmarks of the Maven. Don’t get discouraged if this doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a process that starts with a decision just like anything else.
“We are already 15% into 2008! Are you willing to lay down in the road of opportunity?” Daniel Priestley, XL Results Foundation
“You don’t have to get it right, you just have to get it going!” Mike Litman
“When you become a Master of Focus, YOU become a master of life.” Christopher Howard
I choose to focus on the common denominators that will make my business thrive. I choose to take action in the direction of my dreams for better or for worse. Thanks for sharing many of the key elements that will allow me to realize my decision.
I went to Disneyland yesterday, report in purse, and had my own little seminar with myself. It was so amazing! I got on a few of my favorite rides, purchased a hot chocolate, and sat right outside of Sleeping Beauty’s castle taking in every concept, applying the exercises and dreaming BIG dreams!
My long-term objective is to be financially independent. I am making $10,000 per month starting the second quarter of this year. A great start! This is a public proclamation!
“I CAN! I DARE! I WILL! I DO!” -Mike Litman
I am using all of the resources I have been given and that exist within to support my decision. I believe it! I’m taking action based on my belief and it’s so much fun! A track record of failures will quickly transform into a track record of success, but only if we have the courage to let go and let live!
The simple system Rich and Jay has shared in this report can change your business situation into one that supports a laser focus, authenticity, long-term growth and longevity, but (as with anything else) only if you allow it to.
Be on the lookout for Natascha! It’s only onward and upward from here!

another fantasyland. The rich get richer!
Hello Rich ,
What I can say for You regarding Manifesto – It’s Bomb!!!
If each word writing on this book is truly real and honest that my opinion You have revoliutionary change things about market understanding. I like You cause do’t need improves of Your authority. Thank You very much for You and Jay.
Valerijus
Rich,
Great report! I finally get it.
Busy people today are annoyed with traditional “advertising.” Especially the ads that scream at them on the Internet. So, the solution is to become that TRUSTED FRIEND, that “authority” who can help them make a wise buying decision. Then, once they purchase your product and love it THEY WILL ADVERTISE FOR YOU. Via word-of-mouth (viral) excitement.
Your Maven Matrix Manifesto is a great summary of how to become that voice of authority for the customer. Finally, I grasp what all this USP, positioning and “find your voice” stuff is all about. Thanks for laying it out for us in plain language!
I do agree with another commenter here that the real meat of the document starts about half-way down (with the summary of the principles). The report starts out sounding too much like a piece of sales copy, and takes too long getting with the good stuff. Might want to trim the intro. I almost skimmed over what the article is really all about. Glad I spotted the summary !
Thanks again for a great report. I’m reworking our site!
Rick Josey
can’t download either… it seems to be broken!
Rich and Jay,
This Manifesto (my first) is so timely for me! I understand all of this and only wish I could be in Orlando. I am becoming a Maven (advocate) now with a highly controversial topic. And it will help soooo many people all over the place. This is MY story and I have a message!
Although, I have other businesses in place. This is THE (3rd)ONE that I am most passionate about and the overall solution that I can contribute. I will start today!
This report has so many nuggets in it that I am amazed that I can implement this today!
Thank you so much for your generosity of putting this information out there.
God bless you both as servant leaders.
Barbara
Hi Rich!
I’m almost finishing the book, and the info you’re offering this time is really amazing.
I’m on the road of becoming a Maven! Thank you so much!
Carlos.
Got through to the end of the manifesto. A single comment I once read in a book years ago has resurfaced in my mind – one that I am certain others (yourself included) have read or heard at least once before:
“A period of great change is “the best of times” – for people who have the vision to profit by new economic arrangements … and “the worst of times” – for those who
continue to rely on old, crumbling institutions.”
- William Stanmeyer, J.D., author of “The Best Kept Secret In America”
That comment is probably never more true than right now, and you ought to be commended for seeking to “wake up” the mases to recognize what is happening – not only in North America, but all over the globe.
Regards,
WAYNE
Rich,
M3 is a tremendous step forward for people in IM, even if they don’t appreciate it. Everyone who is complaining downloaded a report that they expected would contain THE THING that would transform their business.
They would not have had this expectation had they not believed Rich and Jay were capable of imparting such knowledge.
In other words, that Rich and Jay are mavens and that they want to be mavens.
Cordially,
Rick Carter
I skimmed the intro until I got to the meat of the manifesto, and found it extremely valuable and useful. I immediately printed the key pages and the summary and will be working through the steps. I have participated in other courses by Jay Abraham and he is phenomenal.
The key is to implement, put things into place, starting one item at a time, a little by little, day by day, and the results will come. Your Matrix of 11 steps lays it out very simply and clearly. If these steps are followed rigorously and diligently, I am certain I will become the maven of my industry niche.
I have no problem with your sales pitch at the beginning and the end. It’s a lesson to me. If you have something that will help your clients, then tell them about it. You’re in business and not philanthropy. I will refer this Manifesto to many others.

Great reading, in full, the second time around (after first quick scans).
NOTE:
The Develop Your Own Phraseology “Maven Assignment” and “Write Below” instructions are duplicated in Identify Your Signature Communication Channel.
(Thus the Identify Your Signature Communication Channel are missing)
Is it just me? Anyone else notice? Do I get the award for actually paying attention while reading? Or am I hallucinating?
Thank you
Scanning through I find it a very brilliant, guiding and practical document for the biz minded. As a combination effort from 2 experts who deliver what they mean without failure, the manifesto is beyound every body’s expectation.

I made the mistake of reading M3 before I went to bed. Now it’s 6am and I’ve been up all night with my voice recorder putting ideas down that are going to make me a ton of money this year. If you read this report and don’t make at least a million dollars more this year they you didn’t get it, read it again.
I am Mike, that pretty much says it all… and you will see me soon.
Thank you Rich and Jay,
Hello Wannabe’s,
The great thing about being a wannabe is the fact that it shows you have a goal, a dream and desire. Those are key elements in realizing a goal; in this case we’re Wannabe Mavens. My wannabe status has led me to receiving the Maven Matrix, which in turn presents me with tools which I can put into action. By aligning myself with proven and existing Mavens (and the direction they provide) I have less chance of falling off the Wannabe Express; this is called support. Now, a dream united with tools, desire and support is great however, there is still an element which most people miss out on, and that is a step by step map. How can we know where the road lies which leads out of Wannabe land if we don’t have a map? Cleverly included in the free Maven Matrix toolbox is such a map. It may be painted in broad strokes, but that is the case when a document speaks to the many. Therefore, if you are looking for a detailed, tailored map without further cost, put in your time as a researcher and dedicated student of mavenship and create it yourself, for time is the alternative to cash. We have been shown the tools, and for that I am extremely grateful.
The alternative (cash) allows you to invest in your future on the giddy-up program, being taught by leaders with proven credentials and success filled histories. Rich and Jay don’t seem to be motivated by a ‘need’ for cash, I have surmised they are motivated by the rewards of being teachers, high level instructers. Their pay days are the results and gratification the see in their recruits.
I will apply these principles as I have seen no finer set of tools, so concisely laid out as these. I am confident that one day, I too will attend such an event, for I too have dreams.
Thanks Rich and Jay for showing me a path.

Rich – I’m so angry with you guys!
I was in the ‘analysis paralysis’ stage of creating a new membership site when the Manifesto link came in. Ok, I put it aside and went back to my ‘cat chasing her tail’ mode. Then I got too frustrated and decided to read it…..
Thank you, thank you, thank you! If there was ever any one major book, ebook, or report designed to get small business owners moving – This Is It!
I’ve put the membership site on hold for a few weeks until I fully grasp what the heck it is the site will stand for, what my members are really after and why am I doing it in the first place!
Still angry? Yep, wish I’d known this about 2 years ago when I started ‘trying’ to make an income online. Great work and again, thank you.
I have a comment and then a questions.
The Comment: Something similar to this was just put out by Simpleology.com. Called the Rise of the Author. Very much along the same lines but using getting published as a primary means to make yourself a Maven.
The Questions: I have a sales job at a manufacturing company and want to do something else. What would be business/career to get into at a low cost with a way of taking advantage of becoming a Maven.
Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Pete
Thank you so much for i’m still injecting ‘the blue print’ to my brain..

Hi!
I really enjoyed w3 and wished that I physically able to get to Orlando (just out of hospital so travel not possible)
I raved about it to me husband until he asked me just exactly what it was I would take as my subject, what knowledge would earn me the title of ‘maven’?
Unfortunately I was stumped there. I design, manufacture and sell luxury nightwear and lingerie to fit bust sizes 40 to 60 inches. I can’t see a subject there on which to become a maven and I suspect other people who read this will have the same problem. If I could see what my next step was, believe me I’d take it.
I enjoyed the roadmap greatly, but I need more information if I’m to use it.
Hi
Really looking forward to reading this report but can’t get it to download. Is it for real?
I’ll try again later.
Thanks in anticipation.
Jane
I felt I have been wasting my time
Hi Rich & Jay,
I have the same comment as Jane – can’t download the Maven Matrix Manifesto. Have you deleted the link?
Hope I’m not too late and thank you for all the information anyway. I’ll try again tomorrow.
Richard
Hello again Rich & Jay,
Forget my comment above!! Just realised what was happening and all now downloaded OK. Thanks once again and will read the report thoroughly.
Richard
How come the assignment of 7 and 8 are the same?
Can’t download the “Maven Matrix Manifesto” and Attention Age Doctrine 2! Help.
Wow. A great manifesto of hard hitting concepts. I especially like the concepts of visioning. the marketplace in healthcare is extremely deceptive. My vision and crusade is to provide honest accurate information to those who need to make decisions about their healthcare problem. One of my sites addresses cancer care for women: GynCancerDoctor and a free resource for survivors is CancerVival. The latter is a very unique service designed to connect survivors worldwide. Anyway, here’s to truth in healthcare online.

Rich & Jay;
Talk about “when the disciple is ready, the master will appear”,
I literally sank the ship and decided to do IM full time last
October without any success. In trying to make a quick buck, I
failed miserably. Two months ago I decided to start from zero
and learn Internet Marketing from the ground up to develop a strong
foundation.
I don’t even recall how I stumbled upon your Manifesto last week. I
devoured it in one day. It inspired me to draw up a flow chart type
plan of action. I’m still refining it, but I now have a plan that
shows me where I’m going.
Today, I read the M3. Again you and Jay are “right on”. I’m ready
to start! Is the Home Study Course available now?
In closing, I highly, highly recommend your Manifesto and The M3
as a starting point to anyone entering online marketing.
Today,
I’ve downloaded the report 3 times already, but everytime I get 88 pages of which 87 of them are blank. Is anyone else having this problem? I run a Mac osx system.
Thanks for the help.
Rich and Jay:
Your comments are at the level of a blinding flash of the obvious. Obvious after the fact, not before. You’ve convinced me to sign up for the course and the Orlando Boot Camp. I hope that by the time of the boot camp I will have already established enough of a profit to pay for the trip several times over.
I just finished the 5 days in Denver conference put on by ETR. That felt good, but left some glaring gaps in my preparation. Your manifesto has really opened my eyes.
Sincerely,
Ken Noel
Rich,
I highly recommend this report to anyone who already owns their own business and to those who are in the planning stages of business ownership.
It teaches strategies to help your customer feel loved & understood, not just appreciated. It would make sense that success would follow using these techniques.
Thank you!
I am astounded by the simplicity of your presentation. Your information is concise and directly to the point. I am 2 and 1/2 chapters from completing my first ebook with two others waiting in the wings. Each will go from ebook to print to audio to video.
I plan to use the information you have sent me to its fullest potential. Thank you for sending me M3.
The content is excellent but you’ve written it like a landing page – it scrolls on and on, and seems self-consciously and excessively wordy. You don’t have to convince us of the case – the material itself is self-evidently valuable – you wrote while you still had your “I must convert this reader into a sale” hat on, which is inappropriate for the delivery of obviously good information. You’re trying unecessarily to convince us of the rightness of your argument when its self-evidently valid and useful. Nevertheless, you make most valuable points, just too earnestly.
Hey Rich,
I had heard of you and Jay some 2 years ago when I started searching for internet business opportunities. I only took you seriously yesterday when i read the whole Maven thing. It was just the thing I was looking for to improve my blog.
Thanks and…for what it’s worth: I have you bookmarked big time.
Thank YOU, thank YOU, thank YOU… Just finished reading your Mavin Matrix Manifesto and am in tears. We are thanking God for you two: that you listened with your hearts and minds to what we needed to know and followed your promptings to unfold it to all of us. I have been praying and searching for the answers you have so generously handed to us on a silver platter! To the both of you, we will be eternally grateful.
There is a reason for everything and it is by no accident that this blessing has arrived at this given moment. We don’t have MBA’s and have been researching and studying tirelessly to lay a firm foundation. You have given us the straight path and we are now preparing for our journey.
We can’t sleep and are so excited to wake up tomorrow to begin our new adventure. To dive in eagerly to the homework you layed out so beautifully. We understood everything you said with such clarity and so many times paused and looked at each other with those ‘AHA’ smiles.
To the naysayers, remember 10 were sent out and only 2 came back with Yes!!! Just couldn’t grasp it, smacking you right in the face….how good copy is supposed to be written!
Shall keep you posted on our endeavors, as we WILL spread the word about how we could not have overcome the strongholds before us without your timely message, teachings and insight and above all else your extreme generosity.
After listening from 2pm Mountain Time yesterday until 3:30am this morning, to you Rich, doing your 24-hr. live UStream.tv Show and studying your Uncertainty Syndrome work of art, we are teeming with thankfulness for all you have shared. Thank YOU again so very much.
Sincerely, Debbie Coates, Albuquerque, New Mexico
Just saw Rich at the ETR Bootcamp, and he was my favorite speaker…and this was among Yanik Silver, Alex Mandossian, Bob Bly, and even the master himself, Michael Masterson. Don’t get me wrong, all these speakers were better than great, they were unbelievable. Rich just struck a cord, because I know that he gets this current internet market. I ran to get the manifesto, and it was too much…more than I imagined. Thanks for all the free stuff. I feel so guilty, I have to buy something from you!
Rich,
I’ve read all your reports over the last few years, some over and over. You’re always so magnanimous and make salient points and suggestions that are easy to assimilate; I never thought this kind of information was given away. But there you go. I learned good things from you and Jay in M3 and appreciate that all the steps are predicated on being genuine and somewhat vulnerable. We can all be human together. It’s a good thing to be.
Hey Rich, the M3 is fantastic, congrats (again!) to you and Jay.
My big takeaways? First, the M3 itself is a reminder of the need to produce high quality content for your customers. It’s thorough, insightful, detailed, well researched, and well credentialed. And it’s INTERESTING (I literally couldn’t put it down until I’d read it right through, twice, and highlighted sections and made notes. What a nerd! :-) ). I love your material Rich for these simple but powerful reasons, and I get cranky at all the “you can bang an ebook together in 5 minutes and make a fortune” stuff you see out there.
Second, one sentence really stuck with me: “To be a Maven is to become seen as the servant-leader of a community”. It’s a fabulous philosophy, and one I’m bringing to my business.
Thanks Rich (& Jay), great stuff as ever.
Hey Rich,
The M3 manifesto is very down to earth and gives you the info you need to be a marketing maven.
If everyone was to take this route we would have alot more different products/services. Becoming a marketing maven keeps you on your toes, because you have a status to live up to.
Thanks for the report
Eric
Amazing content! Thanks!
Hey Rich,
Loved the info you provided. Now let’s see if it can have an impact on my biz which is the entertainment biz.
Resession hit us hard since we are considered in the luxury biz.
You and Jay have really supplied a great strat and it can turn my biz around (I have my doubts) I will waive your flag forever.
All Good Things,
Glen
Keep up the good work
Hey Rich & Jay
First of all, thank you for being you …. your work is truly a valuable contribution to those of the business community that want to excell and remain “cutting edge” in their chosen fields…
I feel that the M3 tactics are definitely “gold nuggets” and I feel that the application of these “Tactics” will lead to the mother lode….. the application being good old fashioned, focused, effective ACTION(working it) …
All of us small business people all have the perceived “constraint” of limited time and cash flow as you know … I feel the M3 gets right to the point and that we must be very effective and targeted when we take ACTION … aspiring to “MAVEN” status in my opinion is simply a choice each one of us can make to “GIVE” our best. …. In my heart I know when I give my best the reward is immediate and great … Instantly I know I have been successful in that moment … similiar to hitting the “Tennis or Golf” ball sweet …. it just gives the satisfaction of knowing I am capable of hitting it sweet …and ongoing practice gives me the satisfaction of knowing I can do it again again with less effort … M3 has hit the sweet spot.. congrats to u guys …. keep up the good work !
All the best to u guys ALWAYS !
Brian
Hi Rich
I just started on the internet to realize a lifelong dream of mine, to help orphans in Africa. Not through charity but through a proper business. Anyway the dream is big and a true challenge and I really had no clue how to start but by following your writings and reading the Maven Matrix I have a much better understanding of success as such.
Thank you for the insights and the true inspiration you are.
Best Regards
Jac
Rich & Jay
Your Maven Matrix woke me up and slapped my A___ I have spent the last 3 days rewriting my website, launching a blog and sending this great information to 2 other business associates.
Thanks for the Gumball !!!
I believe there will be less dropouts of internet marketing if every body knows this stuff. Maven manifesto is just a bomb.
Rich, Jay; thanks for sharing such a great stuff at no cost.
I just finished lisenting to the Teleseminar with Jay Abraham and reading the Maven Manifesto and taking profuse notes and even writing articles, headlines…it is so inspiring! I already have most of the important pieces I need. Thanks. It was like reading the Manifesto removed a block in my mind and renewed inspiration.
If you or anyone else want to know how to maintain harmony with your kids whatever their ages, or how to eliminate problems with them or How To Raise Kids As They Are Meant To Be Raised…let me know.
Thanks again for your inspiring work,

Maven Manifesto is perfect guidance for the world we operate in today. Applying those concepts to my business and know it will make a huge difference. Thanks to both Rich & Jay for practical & powerful techniques for success.
Hi Rich,
I am very confused. I am so excited about this Maven Program that I signed up for it shortly after the webinar on it. I paid $250 down by through a friend. I got the Maven Marketing Manifesto and devoured it. It’s great stuff. Very inspiring. But since then I haven’t heard a word.. What is going on? When does the program start?
I am worried my order fell through the cracks and am I have not been added to the list of participants.
I wouldn’t write this here, but haven’t gotten any response elsewhere. Please advise. This is so cool!
Rich, thankyou for wanting my comment – I wouldn’t have expected that at this stage & being probably 1 of thousands just coming into contact with you & Jay at a beginner’s level. Although your request could’ve been automated, even that is a remarkable indication of how you make the likes of my self seem important to you, demonstrating the high regard you have for your client as is emphasised in your basic principles. At this stage I’m completely overwhelmed with the depth of knowledge & experience you & Jay are imparting. I’m absorbing so much, feeling an urgency to try & get an overall coverage of the tremendous amount of pure gold you are providing – taking notes as a form of reference before going back to mine the abundance in veins, not just nuggets, of valuable material. To do you & myself justice, I am appreciating the need to be well founded to reach the altitude of the Maven & I see in your Matrix, missing link & final chapter, the ladder to climb – feeling very much as if I’m on the essential first rung. Cheers !
Hi Rich and Jay,
I read the report yesterday, and I’m enthusiastically taking the action steps to complete all eleven points. I have a manufacturers representative business, and I employed some of Jay’s advice years ago and that effectively doubled my business at the time. And Rich, since I met you recently at the ETR conference in Delray Beach, I’ve been reading and absorbing your materials as well.
I will soon be launching my own small business advice website and I’m looking forward to Maven status within my niche.
Thanks,
Kevin
Rich and Jay,
I really enjoyed The Maven Matrix. It was well worth the time I invested in going through it. I am very busy since I am so close to getting my business online. (I actually started this business during my involvement with Jay in the Master of Passive Income program.)
I appreciate the Matrix because I am using many of the tactics in my business and see how to to implement more of it.
Thank you and aloha, Leonard Mukai
Thank you guys
I have been trying to tie a lot of these things together in order to create a good strategy, and now you have provided the perfect plan.
Once again you have made things clear and simple.
Thank you.

The Maven Matrix was a great read. Now I understand what I’ve been witnessing. The time spent on attitude adjustment was just as valuable as the step by step guidance.
