    Hi Rich,

This long lesson has changed my focus for my new online business. My website isn’t even finished yet and I’m going to change my focus to a niche where I KNOW I can be the expert in. The best thing is that it is in an area that I’m more passionate about so I know I’ll get better success.

Thanks for over-delivering. You’re an example that sets the standard for the rest of us.

    Patrick Bell
P.S. My website at http://www.marketing-analysis-software.com will be finished by mid-september and it promotes you in a big way. Thanks again to you.

    Rich-
Really great to spend the time with you on the Instant Expert Training tonight… whew! A frickin marathon training! But TONS of great material.

Guaranteed… I’ll be replaying this one as soon as its available. I am going into the “sustainability” space with my blog (www.earthclicks.net) an this information is going to make a HUGE difference for me as I attempt to position myself within this community.

This was an amazing training session. What was set for an hour and a half session quickly developed into over 3 hours of the most insightful information on how to do things right. Rich emphasized that the foundation of being an expert is being true to yourself, and finding something you can be passionate about. Then he set out concrete steps to take to achieve your goals. It’ll be a lot of work, but the benefit is greater success and a life lived with purpose.

  • http://pjmcclure.wordpress.com PJ McClure

Talk about over delivery! Holy crap.

I went in counting on a few bullet points to think about for a few days. Instead, Rich blew my mind with 3+ hours of advice that drove home what I had hoped to hear… I can build a business and become an expert out of my passion?

Thanks for staying up with the night owls.

    Thanks Rich,

This content was so comprehensive with many easily actionable ideas. I particularly like the idea of introspection to identify those key stories in ones life that demonstrate valuable lessons that resonate with your current market.

As “usual” Rich completely over delivers. Even though I’ve been working with Rich for over a year, I learned new specific things to do NOW to refine what I’m already up to in this area. The emphasis on the importance of story and of thinking wasn’t new to me, but this presentation was very specific and timely right now for me in my business.

I really could go on and on, but I won’t.
    Thanks Rich!

Rich was in true form tonight with the Instant Expert webinar! The live show went far longer than it was scheduled to go and Rich filled the time with practical techniques that are powerful, yet simple to implement.

The process of becoming an expert was broken down into very simple techniques and steps to raise the status of any business. The simplicity of his system is quite Impressive!

Great show Rich, looking forward to the next one.

It was unfortunate that I got stuck in traffic and wasn’t able to log on when the webinar started and had to leave my desk by 10:30 because I scheduled something, thinking the webinar would be done by then. Next time I won’t schedule anything around these webinars =).

Like Patrick Bell, I will make sure I focus on a niche where I know I can be the expert in. We can apply this to a service we are planning to launch soon, and also to the others I have on the pipeline.

    Thanks!

    Johann

Rich, the timing of this Instant Expert live training … with my being in the early stages of Maria Andros’ SMTB video program … has grown my understanding of the branding process exponentially. I now know where I’ve gone wrong in my past efforts and feel you’ve just handed me the keys to the castle.

    Thank you!

Well, so here is a person (Rich) that takes the time it takes to deliver what that person thinks must be delivered in order for people to get the big picture as well as all of the parts – this was my first webinar with Rich and I have to honestly say that he gives the whole thing and more.

I did purchase a lot of programs lately and returned most of them and was looking for a premier provider of the right stuff as far as the internet is involved and found it.

Thanks to the committed team at Strategic Profits and certainly thanks to Rich who is visibly committed to his passion and making a difference for 3.5 hours…

    Gratefully,

    Chris

    Rich,

The Instant Expert webinar provided an amazing amount of powerful insights that dwarfs many more costly programs. Anyone serious about building an online presence and carving out a niche NEEDS to see this webinar.

This webinar should be a prerequisite program for anyone marketing or considering marketing online whether you are a beginner or expert in online marketing.

I am sincerely impressed with the generosity in sharing your time and valuable business growth and executable strategies.

    Respectfully,

    Carl

Every time I get into a webinar with you guys my head is buzzing for days with great ideas that I can implement in my business. Often times I find that piece of the puzzle that I was needing.

And I think that is what separates you from the rest, at least for me. Other people have good content and you listen and learn your sessions are different because they stimulate thought, and that is where anybody’s money is.

Thanks for all the support and wealth of information.

  • http://AllegroWellness.com Christopher Vogelmann

    Thanks, Rich!

This was an extraordinarily strong and information-packed program. And a marathon event at that!

I am extremely impressed with your superior content, your stamina, and your integrity to put forth your best efforts to help others.

This evening has already dramatically changed my perception of my brand and greatly enhanced my odds of achieving exceptional success.

Thank you again for sharing such valuable ideas and insights. I can FEEL my passion already turning into profits! :-)

All my very best to you,

    Christopher Vogelmann

Of all the things I have listened to or watched you do, this was the best. It felt like we were sitting somewhere having a cocktail and you were just talking about what you know. I connected with you in a way I never have before. I have taken the mentoring class from ETR, listened to MANY prominent online people, tried many “clubs”, spent lots of $$$. Very few of them made me feel as though I were dealing with a personality and I think this is the best you’ve ever done at that. And by the way – you’re not giving yourself enough credit when you say you aren’t entertaining. Very few people could have pulled off 3 hours of audio and kept us all enthralled and, in my case, amused. I’m sure I can’t afford you but I’ll look for what help I can get in the club for what I think is a killer concept.

    So – thanks.

  • http://www.truthinforeclosure.com Todd Temaat

Just listening to the webinar, I realized that I need to refine my approach and embrace who I am naturally rather than trying to be something I’m not.

Somewhat like you, I think systematically and see things as processes. I look for root causes rather than quick fixes to symptoms. Now I just need to translate that into my blog posts, products, and videos better.

One of the most important points for me was to remember that I only need to connect with my niche, not the entire market my niche is in. Everybody doesn’t need to think I’m an expert…just those in my niche.

Almost too much info to comprehend in one setting, though. Nearly overwhelming! ;)

    Todd

P.S. I’d love to hear your thoughts on having a personal blog/site and then having a business blog/site that tie to eachother. The niche I’m in is somewhat finite and after I finish the majority of the products I plan to put out, I want to move onto another niche…and another one…etc.

How can you do that if you’re so tightly tied to the first niche you’re in?

  • http://www.netmoneyreview.com Joan Miller

Thank you Rich for the superb content and for your strategic thinking!

I strongly believe in the importance of mentorship and ongoing education as the key to an individual’s success, no matter what the endeavour. When I first went into business I went searching for the mentors. You have the ability to drill right down to what matters most and to be that mentor to your members and followers. I am privileged to learn from you. Thank you again, and looking forward to more.

    kind regards,
    B Joan Miller

    Thanks very much Rich…

The biggest takeaway i took from tonight’s webinar is to create more stories.

It amazes me how you come up with such powerful strategies month after month and year after year.

For all of you who are new to Rich’s teachings, here is a brief list of the things he has taught me since 2006, when i first read the Manifesto and joined his pre-BGS program called the Internet Wealth Alliance:

    1. Be Strategic
    2. Look at your business separate from yourself
    3. Focus intensely on the 1-2 key leverage points within your business (Hint: Marketing)
    4. Responsibilities do not equal Tasks
    5. Something worth doing well is worth doing poorly first
    6. Stop paying the stupidity tax within your business
    7. Work from your strengths (Disclosure: This has been an ongoing process for me over the past 3 years–>Good starting point is Kolbe (another resource Rich provided)
    8. Spend your time as an entrepreneur either managing projects or installing systems
    9. You cannot conquer uncertainty by burying it with more information
    10. Building a business is where the journey begins, not where it ends

That is just a short snippet of the gems Rich has provided me over the past 3 years.

Greatly looking forward to all of the info coming in the Founders Club and in your next report.

I’ve been thinking for awhile now that this is a critical issue. Information overload is forcing people to hunt for experts to sort it all out. Convincing people that I’m an expert always seemed like such a daunting task — until now.

As always, Rich goes to the heart of the issue. It’s not really a matter of following a formula, it’s a matter of choosing a niche that you can be passionate about. As a consequence, you can be authentic and this inspires confidence.

It reminds me of a chapter in “What Clients Love” (Beckwith) where he claims that people are more fearful than ever and what we are selling is “comfort”. Passion is one of the things that gives people comfort and confidence.

I benefitted from the notion that market research involves looking for clues instead of looking for answers. I also appreciated hearing that greatness can be (and often is) engineered.

    Thanks for a great seminar!
    Robert

P.S. “Instant” is a misnomer. Becoming an expert is an opportunity dressed in work clothes (in my view). At least I’m now equipped to get there faster.

  • Roxanna Clements

I was so amazed at last nights call my head got turned around 180% – I can see forward again!

    The best aha for me………

Don’t believe you are the only one with “the” problem. Many others are having the same problem(s) and you should look at the problem differently. He also told us to look for clues not answers. That one statement really turned around my thinking. Upon reflection, I now can now see problems as clues…..to build a better business.

Thank you Rich for such deep insights and your personal caring it really means a lot

Well I had no idea that I would site down at my desk for this webinar and still be there over three hours later! :) It was awesome and worth above and beyond the price for this event. Thank you Rich for not stopping until the content was delivered… Many would have stopped.

I look forward to going back through the recording and getting more nuggets of gold!

    Thanks Rich!

    Hey Rich,

I was a little bit ticked off! Here’s what happened to me…

After I realized you were only halfway done @ about 10:45 (I looked at your scroll bar), I decided that I would my phone, drive home (was @ off), whip out my laptop and get right back with the presentation.

I got really ticked off when i got home and realized that I couldn’t get back into the webinar because I had opened it originally at the office…. so eventually gave up and just continued to listen.

RICH, YOUR A CHAMP! I Don’t know where you get the endurance to present for so long that late.

basically I’m ticked off ’cause I didn’t get to see the whole visual presentation, because I missed the last quarter cause it was “passed my bedtime” (was being a wuss), and I mainly because I could barely sleep. I kept on waking up thinking of all things I learned.

So, it really is all your fault!

You and all valuable, insightful information.

Maybe if your info wasn’t so sweet I could just relax and get a good restful night of sleep. Instead I’m waking up at all hours of the night, excited about becoming an expert in my niche.

Once again Rich It’s ALL YOUR FAULT.

P.S. I will also be blaming you for all the money I will be making too!

    John Bowers

  • http://www.shorecastmedia.com Janet

After 3 hours, I would like to know specifically what you all learned! Most of you just speak in generalities and comment about how it was 3 hrs long! So let’s hear it. What specific things did you all learn – I would like to see 10 things you learned in 3 hours. Tell us so that those of us who missed it can learn too! Thanks.

  • http://www.strategicprofits.com Rich Schefren

Janet – these people paid for the webinar – i think it’s a little disingenuous to ask them to summarize what they paid for – to you who didn’t (i am guessing). if you are a founder’s member, we plan on putting in a section where members can share their notes – but that’s only for members.

Janet – I would suggest you chance the 49 bucks.

If you’re interested in becoming an expert in your field, there is no better person to learn from/model than Rich Schefren.

He not only came out of nowhere to position himself at the very top of his market, but he has also coached virtually every ‘A’ list marketer out there to do the same.

I wasn’t able to make the live presentation, so I’ve been waiting for it to post on the sight…

I just went through it and it’s not only 3 hours of amazing content during the presentation, but Rich does another very solid hour of Q&A.

If your on the site and your reading these posts and you want to become an expert, I couldn’t imagine NOT making an investment in the Founders Club…it’s a no-brainer.

Thanks Rich, for sharing such great content and making this information available at this price point.

    Pete

  • Paul

    Hey Rich,

    Awesome job!

I’ll list just two of my takeaways.

The part on listening to your marketing and the tools to use to drill into your markets needs are powerful in its simplicity. I’m gonna totally switch my attention to that.

And I also wanna steal the 3 components of how you manage your time!
I think I start to see why I’ve been less productive than I’d like too – been spending too much time on acquiring new skills and too little on creating
the content based on the skills I already possess.

And BTW,4 hrs speaking marathon? You’re a HERO man:-)

    My total respect,
    Paul

  • http://www.localwebwealth.com Casey

    Absolutely fabulous webinar.

My favourite point? The step-by-step nature of becoming an expert in your market. You showed how no matter where you are now, you CAN become the expert.

    Cheers,

  • http://www.OfficeAutoPilot.com Daniel

I loved the idea of create a magic bullet and give it away for free.

Also, the idea about how stories create fascination, and give you character, which is ultimately what creates stick, was a great point.

    Thanks, awesome content again.

While I didn’t have the time to listen to a 4 hour webinar, it’s well worth listening to *every* minute even if it has to be broken up into many sittings.

There were so many priceless nuggets of information, so I thank you for the transcript. I’ll be going through it with a highlighter & pen/notebook later.

Personally, I would have valued an MP3 as well, so I could have listened to it on my ipod during my commute & doing work around the house/yard. But again I thank you Rich because you delivered what I’ve come to expect .. insights from an successful, experienced business owner who is now applying it online. At the end the day, you need to know how to run a business in order to be successful online.

Hey, no blog post for “Email Persuasion Formula”?

  • Carol Absher

First, a note to Janet: If you really read the comments above yours, you’ll find not 10 but 15 solid, do-this-and- succeed takeaways, so if you didn’t fork over the cash for it, quit complaining. AND, if you didn’t, and you really read all the fantastic, amazing things WE all have to say about this remarkably intelligent, phenomenal master of business building techniques…then, please, for all your present and future customers, go to http://www.strategicprofits.com IMMEDIATELY and join the Founder’s Club, and download ALL of the Required-to-Succeed Free reports. They’ll thank you.

    And thank you, Rich. Period.

For all you have learned and shared with others, for your dedication to helping others, and for giving me the real, first time confidence that I really can succeed in a business I create. I’ve wasted foolish time on others. No more. I am your disciple. The concrete steps you provided in the Instant Expert Webinar for turning my passions into an expert voice to help others, researching the market, and addressing peoples’ core desires will become the foundation stones of my business. And yes, I’ve already started a Stock Stories catalog! You’re right, this is Huge!

And, especially thanks for allowing me to look forward to all of the upcoming Founder’s Club jewels.

    Thanks, from a sincere follower,

    Rich,
    Quite a symbolic name, indeed!
As you not only know it, have it but you are sharing it in form in which anyone can take it from you & step ahead, do the thinking & perform for results. I particularly liked that you have shown what to do in web world what a great author Napoleon Hill illustrates in his book. It would definitely help millions.

    Thanks again Rich,

    Hi Rich,

    WOW!

What an awesome webinar… it actually took me a couple of days and pages and pages of notes to process all that was said.

Now it’s back to the drawing board to re-design my business strategy to become the expert in my niche.

what I love most, is how simple and clear you make things in my head… not easy, but extremely simple steps to apply.

    Thanks Rich!

Founders Club is definitely the best investment that I’ve made towards my success in a long time.

  • Marc

This training was very complete, and it also talked about some inner perceptions I had been stuck against for quite a while, without being able to properly define them.

It has allowed me to really change the way I position myself regarding my prospects, so thank you so much Rich!

  • Jonathan

A little late, only got round to listening to the audio over the weekend as I missed the call in. Anyways, it was a extremely thought provoking take on going from zero to hero. I think the points that rich hit (and there were so many) were very actionable – meaning – anybody who actually apply’s what rich said could become a expert in his/her industry. I love the fact that nobody was born a expert, but everyone that is one today – earned it, by following a process.
    Terrific Webinar.

Oh, I liked the how to use your time bit – 5 day work week – what do you focus on. It wasn’t a meant to be a highlight, but I had a aha moment – and liked idea behind it.

    Jon.

  • Steve

Fantastic! I’m already re-designing our marketing plan to incorporate the strategies you shared on this call. I had never considered that there was actually a plan for becoming an expert in our niche. Thanks so much.

Rich is one of the few involved in internet marketing who really understands business.

The general crowd understand transactions. They understand desire and how to activate it.

I was laughing out loud yesterday at an email I got from a well known name. He was releasing another “system.” The only problem is that he was a complete failure online until he got someone to mail for him. His “unproven” system made him a bundle because of influence, not because of experience.

“Instant Expert” on the other hand comes from someone who has been in the trenches and knows real business.

Rich, the complex/simplicity with the Ramsey example was strong. And the balance of “super powers” with accessibility can help everyone connect more effectively with their markets.

Folks, forget blindly copying the work of others. Stop looking for the plug-in system. Instead, focus on building YOUR business.

The Founder’s Club is serious business training. It’s not soft. It for people who want to set their business apart and build an asset and not just another look-a-like site.

Rich, thanks for taking the road less traveled.

    Paul

It was a great webinar. I were not able to be on it live and just finished listening to it.
I have not read what others think about this but I did not mind at all that it was a loooong one. It did take me a long time to listen to it (few sessions and few days), yet I still prefer to get the content and information … rather than trying to make everything happen in 2 hours or so, and quickly jump to the next subject without making sure the subject was explained enough. It is great that everything is recorded and available to be downloaded.
    Thanks again

    Dear Mr. Rich,

I captured an essence, a real pearl in the Q/A; That one really need to research the frustrations/aspirations of a targeted niche market and develop a piece of content with a unique viewpoint, to really be able to express that better then the people interviewed, in a way no one done before, and with a solution that no one has thought of before. I find such thoughts come in the early morning after a “Long gestation” of this the night before.

    Brilliant!

I received tremendous value from every single slide and loved Rich’s extra comments as each slide came up.

There are 2 things that I absolutely love from this webinar and that is this:

    1. Telling stories! It makes so much sense
    2. The Action Steps and time management pages, that finishing touch added massive value and helped me cut down a huge webinar into smaller actionable chunks.

    Keep up the great work

The last of the big three are the air flow set points. These set points happen at two places – at the outside air intake and at the zone level. At the outside air intake, it’s important to know the minimum outside air set point in really cold or hot weather. What people think the set points are and how much is actually being brought in are usually two very different numbers. We aim to restore original design intent to the air flow system. At the zone level, it is important to know the minimum airflow set point on these variable load volume terminal units. Knowing if it is set to the appropriate range can inform the operator if it could it be set lower to save heating and cooling energyExpert Savings Advice
