Hi Rich
We have an free online dating & community site and need to drive traffic to it. We’ve heard lots of talk about lists … what advice can you give about building lists, and how would you promote our
website?
Any help you can give would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Rich,
coul you talk about marketing french info-products?
I’m trying to break into this market and I’m not seeing a lot of these type of products over here.
Is this that nobody is interested by them (no money spent), or that it’s just the begining? (like in the US 10 or so years ago)
Thanks for your help and efforts.
Damien
Dear Rich,
I wanted to know how did you manage your writing tasks, from newsletters to reports, without taking in consideration the editing and corrections, do you do all the writing yourself?
I feel I can’t manage to:
1) Write the copy of EVERY newsletter
2) Write the free reports for my list
WHILE working on software development and working with developers on the several projects.
How do you work it out? Do you have someone write the newsletters for you? Do you lay out the important points and ask someone to convert it into an article?
I am now working with an editor that proofreads my articles, but this isn’t enough…
I would appreciatte any help.
THANKS SO MUCH.
Rod
One more quick question. If you only had a small list, and no jv partners, would you use PR services to have your report spread or what other medthods would you use?
Hi Rich,
I can’t believe how well your holding up! You still look nice and focused.
Despite wracking my brains, I just can’t seem to find the one thing that I excel at that I could turn into a valuable service or product. I think I’m pretty good at a lot of things, but not really excellent at any one particular thing (except maybe that I speak and read Japanese fluently, but I’m not specially passionate about that, and it doesn’t seem to be of much relevance in building an online biz).
Do you have any suggestions on how to uncover our strengths or the the thing we excel at?
Many thanks,
Alasdair
Rich,
I have signed up for many of the newer products and ‘guru’ help for online marketing.
Call me a ‘late bloomer’ or just an old fart, but I am jumping on this bandwagon late…
Where can I go to get good training on the basics of WEB 2.0, definitions of the different types of feeds, rss and such, what twitter are…etc…
Thanks!

Hi Rich
I was wondering if you could talk a little about your feed marketing strategies…
Would you recommend combining feeds and automatically submitting your content to various sites?
If so, which sites would you recommend posting original material on and which sites would you simply use as a place to import your ‘mashed’ feeds?
David
So how can we launch a bookkeeping franchise helping us find franchisee and franchisee finding clients?

Hey Rich
Thanks for answering my previous question about our dating website.
You mentioned getting the marketing strategy right and finding out what people want to achieve by using our site and then pulling them along by offering them something else, and incentives to pass it on.
My question is: how do you get these people to hear about the site in the first place. What are your thoughts on that?
Many thanks
Colleen
Hi Rich,
Thanks for the awesome report and the incredible Q&A session you are doing. I seriously don’t know how you are still going!
Anyway, one of the problems we recently identified in our business was that writing good copy is just not our strong point. We’ve never been good with outsourcing (another one of our constraints) but we bit the bullet and hired a professional copywriter to help us with our conversions. The problem we are now having is that he really wants to put a false limit in our sales copy (eg This offer is limited to the next 27 people – even though it isn’t). We REALLY don’t want to do this as we feel it is dishonest. Do you know of another way we can include a sense of urgency to encourage people to act now without being dishonest?
Thanks so much in advance!
Jen
Hi! 2nd question!
You talk about not overworking but what would be a good working schedule? I mean, how many hours a day should we spend working, What’s Your ideal schedule?
How much do You usualy work everyday?
Keep going! Thanks!
Rich,
Yes, I affirm that this is a good question asked by Pedro. I have my questions relating to what he is asking.
1) How many hour’s a person should work on any day and how systematized is your schedule? How does one effectively create a great schedule?
2) I do not wish to burn myself working all week like there is no other thing in the world. How to deal with not letting your self get burned into Internet Marketing?
3) How does one deal with overwhelming IM information at one end and learning Professional skills at the other end? I seem to be very gradually picking up speed though I haven’t been able to speed up on my Web Design learning process. I need to get my blogs up and running in no time. How do I cope with this?
4) I had written to your customer service that I need assistance in understanding my Strengths Mastery Advantage test results in a simplified manner. They advised me to ask you for the same today. I found it to be complex and non-simplified, please guide me. Taking away from it is a pain in the ass. I really require you to help me and answer my questions. Rich, I request you to take me through the process of simplification of my SMA result.
5) I need assistance in getting organized like anything. Be it my files, emails, ideas, task sheet, book reading lists or business plans, anything you say.. I am unorganized until now. Please comment and advise.
Rich, You’re awesome. Your ProfitVault and Internet Business Manifesto work is profound and so much applicable in my life that I am wondering how you’re able to do what you are doing at this moment.
Thanks for doing such a wonderful work. If you hadn’t been here, I would have not known where would I be in the future. Awesome. Keep it up.
Thanks Again.

Hello Rich,
At the current phase of e-commerce websites, shopping online seems to be a blunt object type of shopping experience, and I know that the internet is working it’s way out of the infancy level into the teen stages, but what would be ways to personalize the shopping experience for customers, besides adding live chat functions to assist people?
Hi Rich,
I used to be Sr. Marketing Manager of a 130 million dollar company and have also been very successful at running small businesses and taking them from 300K to over 4 or 5 million.
I purchased the domain http://www.businessconsultingsmall.com and want to start building an “on-line” business helping small business owners. What steps would you take to start and grow it quickly?
Thanks

Hey Rich,
Great Commentary, again I wish that I could *record*
this live feed somehow. This 24 hour marathon would
make one hell of an Info-product or even a future bonus
of some sort for those who couldn’t commit to being up
for 24 hours like the rest of us crazy insomniacs.
1. You and Eben Pagan host the best Info conferences
in the business, and I want to do the same thing – but
in a different niche, got any ideas, suggestions or
comments that may help me organize one of my own.
How did you secure/book all of those special guests?
and generally, how much does it cost (overhead) just
to produce your events?
2. You and Masterson are very close, could you speak
to how that has benefited you and how can we do
the same thing to find and build relationships with
ultra-successful people?
Thanks again,

Dear Rich,
Thank you for answering all the previous questions.
This is incredibly awesome THANKS!
QUESTION:
I am actually a customer and I bought your Dream Home Study System on February.
I remember that on February you had a Time Down counter and sign that said that price would get DUPLICATED after the time down.
I thought that was an Incredible Concept to rush people into action, and I did get to buy your product some hours before the deadline.
However my question is: how effective can a count down timer can be? Should I have precautions regarding using them vs creating customer trust before pushing them into action with these more ‘foreceful’ ways? Is there a risk in over using them? (using them in all releases including Report Releases).
Why don’t you do count down timers for Report Releases?
THANKS SO MUCH!
Your company will not be the same after all this! :)
Rod
Hi Rich,
My hats (and caps) off to you for doing this…simply brilliant!
My question continues from your answer on how to find one’s strengths. I did what you recommended… I asked my closest friends and colleagues on what my strengths. Like you said, I found it difficult to determine my strengths as I have really varied interests and I consider myself to be a jack of all trades really and a master of none.
My findings were that apparently I am very good at grasping and seeing the big picture. According to my friends, I am very analytical and am good at connecting the dots.
I suppose I am somewhat like you… I love reading and I spend most of my time and money on books.
So my question is, where do you suppose I can find my niche in the business world (online or offline) based on my strength?
Thanks a million Rich!
Andy

Hi Rich,
A quick question but definitely an important one:
How do you balance not doing everything yourself and being able to afford to out-source things?
Is it a juggling act or do you have to bit the bullet somewhere?
Is it a case of getting some success on your own and then taking it to the next levels with other people’s help?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Good luck on the rest of your broadcast.

It’s 4:30 in the morning here in Arizona and I want to wish you well and say, “Good Morning Rich!” What a wonderful idea!
I am new to the internet business world and have a few questions for you. I have made some videos and want to create a web site to make them available online (along with other wonderful resources).
What is the best, quickest, least expensive way to get a web site up and running that is flexible enough to grow into a business? What are the best resources to help me learn about that? What steps would you take on a very tight budget?
Thanks so much, Rich!! Harmony

Dear Rich,
Thaks for the Count-Down Timer Reply it was really useful.
However, why don’t you use count-down timers also for your FREE releases such as your reports?
I was think for using the count-down timers for each of the release dates of the special reports, apart of also using it for the final release of our software.
Would this be a good idea?
THANKS SO MUCH!
Best wishes,

P.S: THis is incredible! Thanks! I haven’t sleep in all night .
You were talking about sprinting and making a big “splash” or noise as fast as possible. Obviously this is easier when you already have a big list and a bunch of JV’s… How do you sprint in a market when you only have a small list (less than 2000)?
Hi Rich,
Can you give advice about what to look for in recruting people to help in your business? How can you be very sure about the person you bring aboard to be fit for the job. I do not only mean the skills, but especially personality and dedication…
Thanks for being such a sharing person!!
If i wanted to start a membership site and launch a set of front end products who in your opinion is the NUMBER 1 guy/girl to go to and learn from and why?
Hi Rich,
Sandra Rodrigues here from the UK- I am literally starting out this week after lot’s of researching + reading. My background is in marketing and publishing, I have 3 kids under the age of 4 and now with the baby going to nursery I will have 4-5 solid hours a day to work on my business.
I intend to resell PRLs, serious & dedicated Affiliate Marketing, build and flipp sites and create my own ebooks using my personal life experience.
Question 1 – Do you think that’s a doable/good plan to start with in this business?
Question 2 – How long do you think until I see some money coming in?
Many many thanks for your time.
Rich,
After watching you since 1am my time, and hearing about all the books you read, what would be a few top books that you would recommend to help people with marketing to develop good public product/website awareness.
I would like to say thank you for recommending, Predictably Irrational by Dan Ariely. I have learned a lot about how people think and how to market to people to produce great results through understanding behavioral patterns.
Good Morning~
What is the program that is good to teach your fingers to fly?
Any shortcut ways you would recommend? Thanks & enjoy the day!
How do I learn more about business modeling, considering if I should focus more on pre paid advertsing, vs. affiliate links, vs. a paid membship site, vs. creating your own product.
Do you have any material to look at in regard to learn more about creating a solid business model for my business.
Regards
Matt
What conference did you sell your first program to the guru’s from and what was different about it from your first launched program?
Greetings Rich,
What are the things that you can do to put your seemingly similar product into a class by itself? How can you disqualify the competition, reset the rules, redefine the standards, reorder priorities, change the decision criteria and transform the game?
Will we get acess to recordings Rich? Or will you be selling them?
I’d like to thank you, sorry I had to sleep. nan
Hey Rich, Thanks so much for your hard work and diligence. Amazing stuff! I was wondering about how “relabeling” someone’s product to make it your own works. How does that work and is it a viable way to get started?
Thanks so very much.

Hi Rich – Congratulations on the great event and your endurance level!
More and more internet marketers are using infusionsoft – which looks great but also looks on the expensive side for someone more just starting off. What alternative would you recommend?
rich, asked this last night so I apologize for duplication but I think it went to spam filter.
when do you know when to turn it off. i.e you’re running through woods chasing rabbit, you see a deer and make 90degree turn, then you see a bear which will feed you for year, etc. When do you turn it off and just focus on what you’rre chasing ? (confucius say man who chase 2 rabbits catches none)
in internet terms- how deep do you keep digging for info, tools, tips (one which might make huge impact on bus) but know when to turn it off, take what you have an become a producer and turn off comsumption ?
am I making sense ?
Rich,
That Stanford Study you mentioned — could you talk about that (you spilled your coke just before you elaborated)? Where did you hear or read about it?
In Constraint 6 you mentioned the experience of the IRS, when they announced “too many people are cheating on their taxes, so we’re ramping up all fines, penalties and even the interest on fines and penalties!” and instead of tax fraud declining, it soared.
I get that we can use a strategy like this for our own marketing purposes… do you have ideas on that? Do you know of any company or person who used this as a marketing tactic successfully? (If so, please provide example).
And by the way,THANKS Rich, the answers you’re giving rock! I wanted to leave 3 hours ago and am still hooked because every answer you give is pure gold. So I want to get the most out of it, thanks again, wish you lots of moolah and happy new customers.
Going beyond the conversation you had yesterday with Filsaime… every business requires cash flow to grow…
I’m at a point where funding seems to be the next step for my business… can you discuss funding on a level beyond credit cards, rather Angles, VC etc.
Have you been in the position of requiring funding…can you give some advice on this.
Thanks – I appreciate the time focused on this.
Alan
How is today’s economy going to effect online business?
What is your opinion?

Hi Rich,
First off, congratulations! I don’t know how you are doing it!
I would have dropped off a LONG time ago!
I’ve created a membership site that is launching in 2 weeks.
My membership site is geared towards graphic designers. Specifically, I’m providing information on the creative side, marketing and the business side of your graphic design life.
My problem is that it’s in a field that has typically not done all that well with them.
2 paid sites have been set up in the past. But one closed down (it was free and infrequently updated) and the second one is struggling along.
On the flip side, there are some sites offering paid content (not the traditional membership sites) that are HUGE.
I know there is a huge audience of graphic designers and many of them are freelancers.
Would you let it deter you, the fact that others have not done all that well in the field? Or, learn from their mistakes and “just do it your way”?
Thanks and keep up the great work!
Maria

INCREDIBLE !!!
I am posting this question again because it looks like it got skipped again due to an ongoing blog crash…
3 QUESTIONS….
Your comment about Agora’s $50 product = $100 purchase annual value has got me thinking…
QUESTION 1
I am adding a new product on ClickBank next month. Now we all know that ClickBank has their own affiliates within the system itself, but I want to know what you think would be the best way to launch on a Clickbank product outside of CB.
QUESTION 2
For the upsell back end what cost ratio would be realistic if the CB cost is $99?
QUESTION 3
Our back end will be $5K, is a $99 entry product too large a cost leap to a $5K Coaching Program…
The Coaching Program is its an alumni model. Pay once and get the access to the ongoing content for life.
Thanks for a great job….BTW – you look thinner!
What are you learning about your launch from the questions on the blog that you didn’t know or anticipate as you planned this launch? How will you incorporate what you’ve learned so far?
Thanks for the last live answer – at around hour 22!
Here is another question:
Who would you choose to learn from after your experience from Agora?
Hope you recover quickly after you getting tongue tied a little more by this hour!
Keep on keeping on

Good morning Rich:
Earlier, someone (in a multi part question) asked about denegrating the competition. I get setting yourself apart from the competition with design (great idea) but, how do I tell future partners that my “competition” (a health care information website) is simply not very helpful to consumers….how do I denegrate my competition, without sounding like a jerk. Thanks.
(I used to shop at Antique Boutique once a month…the East Village has changed A LOt wince you left…very expensive to live here now)
I have a local martial arts academy and I am generating 10-15 new members a month (worth $2k a year or more) through local targeted internet marketing (pay per click is very small (accounts for maybe 1-2 members). The rest of traffic is coming from organic searches (through main site, blogs, outside links, etc).
I am rather new to marketing a local business (clients are in a 3-10mile radius at most).
MY QUESTION is will using a squeeze page still enable me to get organic search listings? Or can you recommend some other methods for attracting more members through the internet? I am also doing a lot of offline marketing as well. The website is designed to generate phone calls to set a free trial lesson appointment, not to enroll them.

Hello Rich,
What is your best advice about this one. What is the best way to sell music ( my very own composed music) in a new way via the internet? Not via the old school record companies methods, but via an integrated internet marketing & web 2.0. plan? Any revolutionary idea`s that pop up into your mind? (knowing that, for the moment I have no assets, except my personal time, a very creative mind, and good technicaland internet-ical abilities – can make video, screensavers, graphics, sites, …)

Hi Rich,
I founded my company and coordinate my team of about 4 people right now.
When would you recommend to be the best time to hire a manager to re-place me on the day-to-day managing my team, so I can focus on the strategic part of may company?
After X in revenue? After X clients?
Thanks a lot for this opportunity.
Peter.
Hi Rich,
Do you think seminars are a NECESSITY in all truth, in order to build close nit relationships and Instant JV partners?
As you said earlier it can be difficult to build relationships that are NON FACE TO FACE via sending emails to affiliate managers etfc, therefore it is harder to get JV’s WITHOUT seminars…
I ask you this Rich, as I am a disabled guy and cannot FLY to big seminars in the States etc… I am a DOER, and understand the importance of getting “in” with the big guys.
Your thoughts are GREATLY appreciated Rich…
Get out the matchsticks for your eyes buddy :)
All the best to you and family,

What would be your initial strategy for launching a new business?
Hi Rich,
Great Job both now and in the Pre Release.
You have Joel Comm embedded on your page as a third party reccom. Two Questions How did you embed it on your page and what kind of video (software, camera, etc) was used? It looked great, loaded fast, and has good resolution
Thanks,

Hi Rich,
I really appreciated your discussion on necessary conditions. I am struggling with information overload syndrome. I came out of academia and have this desire to minimize risk by learning as much as I can. One complicating factor is I have “Aquired” ADD. I was in a bad car accident and now struggle with focus. I do have nice periods of sustained focus, but if I go too long, my brain shuts down. On the plus side, my creative juices have increased and I have great ideas for information products that take advantage of my background in environmental science, aquaculture, designing learning environments, and agriculture sciences (I was an applied biologist and also taught). Do you think action alone could move me beyond this constraint?
Hey Rich,
Thanks for the forum.
What would be your response if someone revealed to you they put a (potential)billion dollar J.V. offer in your hand and you were too busy to take a look at it?
Should they purchase your J.V. product, follow all instructions to the T and then wait to see if the proof is in the pudding?
What would it take to get your attention if it were offered to you again? Or is that info included in the product?

My BIZ IDEA – I’m IN PAIN!!
Hi Rich,
Thanks for everything! You’re a real inspiration.
Here’s my question:
I’ve been mulling and researching in detail a new business idea. The research seems to say it is viable. I need a good programmer to get this off the ground … but have minimal capital to pay someone.
I guess I’m fearful of using my main reserve on cash … I prefer to boostrap by slowly building (is this right or wrong to believe?)
How would you approach this?
Would you trust a freelancer or outsourcing company you don’t know with your business idea?
Would you get outside cash or avoid this?
Would you go to find someone that knows a programmer personally and work out a percentage for them of the future profits?
If you were starting out (looking back) how would you do this?
I’m in pain thinking about this all the time … I want to jump in but have some fear to do so without a crystal clear plan. (or is this wrong?)
Thanks,
Mike
PS, I kept getting error messages trying to submit this message on your blog.
Rich,
Early next year I am planning on launching a membership site specifically targeting Macintosh using Internet marketers at http://MacMarketers.com , and I am looking for Joint Venture partners.
Since (as you mentioned earlier) many of the top Gurus and Bloggers have moved to the Macintosh platform, what would the best way be to get Joint Venture partners at the top level?
Also, what pricing level should I consider for something like this?
Thanks, and hang in there!
Dave
Rich,
I haven’t been able to watch your whole broadcast, but what I did manage to watch has totally changed my opinion on you and your concepts (positively).
I can’t wait to read through your free eBooks and various other resources dotted around on your site.
This approach in engaging with the public is a definite “thumbs-up” and much, much appreciated.
Thank you.
Hi Rich
I have so far listened to around 20 hours of this 24 hour marathon, and in each hour I have glean valuable insight in something specific to the project I am working on, otherwise I honestly wouldn’t have watched for so long.
You typically follow “Product Launch Formula” doctrine, though with your own special touches pushing the boundaries.
If you were to launch a more controversial report, that might create a huge amount of discussion, would you be inclined to use a more “Butterfly Marketing” approach without a blog, such that initial discussion would take place in other venues such as blogs and forums.
Then you might have the opportunity on the backend, to offer a second free report which provides real solutions.
This was actually the method used by the original “Death of Adsense”.
I would love to know your views as what I eventually release could initially be presented in a controversial manner, with a followup that provides solutions.
I am worried that using a blog with comments appraoch for the first report might reduce the impact of the second report.
(I don’t know if you answered in the chat in the meanwhile)
I am an Artist (oil paintings). The only way to increase revenue is to raise the price, basically.
How would you go about marketing to increase the perceived value of my work?
I think the main constraint is that a new artist has to compete with the commodities market. People can buy paintings on ebay for 25$.
I can make prints available as additional income stream.
* Would you recommend put out limited series of prints (limited to create scarcity, more value) for example.
Obviously I have not reached the buyers, yet, who are willing to pay obscene amounts of money for Art. How to get there. Everybody says my work is terrific, bot those are mostly other artists not buyers.
I am not sure, if I can meet them online. I am living on a remote island so it’s not easy to connect in person with my target market (customs issues, travel expenses )
Thanks for doing this.
I am interested in providing SEO techniques, seminars, services, etc. geared specifically for churches. How would you launch something like this? Would you include a membership site? Any help with this would be great.
Carrie
Hi Rich.
I currently work for an Internet Marketer improving his business and really enjoying being the behind the scenes guy. This is a long term partnership but I would really love to find another 3-5 business to work with. What do you think is the best strategy to approach and start working for others? Just make friends first? Show them my previous success? Thanks Rich

Hi RIch,
im interested in getting in the french markets for infoproducts, but there doesnt seem to be a lot of those.
Im wondering if its a good thing to go in, because like i said there doesnt seem to be a lot of french infoproducts, but maybe its just the case that the french market is in its infancy, compared to the english market.
Is it a good thing to into?
How do i assess that market better?
thanks tons!

I’ve entered my name and e-mail for it, and the link I get in the e-mail sent to me just takes me back to enter my name and e-mail again. That’s happened a few times. How can I get the actual report?! If anyone would be willing to send me an electronic copy of yours by e-mail, I would really appreciate it! You could send it to phd.2004@yahoo.com.
Thanks,

Hi RIch,
question for you thats really stoping me..
my constraint..
im interested in getting in the french markets for infoproducts, but there doesnt seem to be a lot of those.
Im wondering if its a good thing to go in, because like i said there doesnt seem to be a lot of french infoproducts, but maybe its just the case that the french market is in its infancy, compared to the english market.
Is it a good thing to into??
How do i assess that market better?
thanks tons!!

Southern Illinois University – Carbondale Medical School has shown that the neural activity of the gut is the same as our brain. To have a gut feeling is another way to say the gut is thinking for you which is actually a true statement. The feeling is just not directly connected to the brain so it is hard to interprete.
Rich, what specific resources would you recommend to acelerate the process of being an expert in an area (time constraint!), I am looking for a method to read quicker, a method to know tha latest thing released in that area, etc)
Thanks
Hi Rich,
I do have a question about constraints.
Do you think that one constraint may be a fear of failure?
Or that people want “guarantees” that a venture will work that they can’t seem to get going.
Thanks,
Maria
Rich,
Incredible!!!
Hey, man…hang in there. I have done lots of 24 hour/All Nighters back in the day. I don’t do that anymore…at 42 it takes me 3 days to recover.
Anyways, the point. On Page 7 of “The Entreprenearial Emergency” you state “Until recently, I knew I didn’t have the answer for you or the thousands of entrepreneurs who write me, begging for help. I did my best (which you did, by the way), referring them to the free Reports I’ve published over the years. But deep down inside, I feared there was something missing. And that “something” was a set of guidelines you can take you can take with you whereever t he Internet or your business takes you.”
Describe the events or case studies that convinced you that the something missing was “Constraints”.
If finished reading the Entrepreneurial Emergency at 3:00AM Eastern Time…when you went off the air…or I would have asked this then…
BECAUSE I am sitting here staring at “The Logical Thinking Process” by H. William Dettmer that came from Amazon last week…
Anyways, what specific events or case studies really helped convert you that “Constraints” are the real issue…
I am enjoying the show…AND appreciate the Great Example.
Talk Soon,
Karlyn

Rich,
Launching a monthly dvd continuity program and we’re rapping up the dvd to give away (value $125) which will build the list and then we will do a forced continuity off of that, ala stomper.
My problem is it took along time for me to get this initial dvd created, in regards to the monthly production of of this membership, I need help setting up a gameplan/system to stay focused and on target for getting the monthly dvd done in time.
What are some things you would recommend that would help me in this matter. I can get bogged down by trying to make the perfect product and then finding the things I would use to create this perfect product then eats up 90 percent of my time.
When the monthly membership is in place, I’ll need more focus on production and a solid monthly plan, how would you advise I set this up?
Rich, would you discuss constraints to online businesses for non-English speaking countries? They are usually much less sophisticated market (Paypal? What’s that?) but the needs are there. Would you invest on something that requires educating your market on basic stuff, like online payments?
Hi rich,
I have taken several mentoring programs and courses including Jeff Walkers, frank kerns, mike filsaimes, IMC’s, Stompernet, etc. 4 years into this I still only make an extra 300.00 a month. Is there a mentoring program you suggest that works and someone will really help me get through the constraints. I need a program under 15k.
Thanks,
Heather
Hi Heather ~ It can certainly be overwhelming when you’ve read all these programs. Where do you start???
The starting point – AFTER you’ve gone through all these programs is DREAM BAR CAFE. It’s an Accelerator For Success Business program that gives you a solid foundation, and it brings your Inner Reality congruent with your Outer Expectations.

Rich, who does the report apply to? Is it just for people who own a business of does this apply to anyone?
When you were starting out in Internet Marketing.
A.
What did you focus on affiliate sale,PPC,PLR or did you do your own product?
B.
I have been doing alot immersion by researching with Mass Control,Stompernet STSE,reading Warriorforums,Cialdini,Zigler and focusing on my weakness which is ad copy and marketing.
I can’t believe I have not heard of you til I got John Carlton’s autoresponder linking me to you! Very awesome concept!!
Note*
I have technical skills design, coding and just can’t seem to find a good starting point.
Hi Rich. You have shared some great research stats to illustrate your points. What are your favourite sources to get those? Do you have some of that established to automatically arrive to you – and if so how?
Thanks Rich
Nicola again,
Really enjoying this but feel torn as you must need some sleep badly – adrenaline is an amazingly strong drug though eh?
You kindly answered my question about my traffic ceiling, suggesting a viral report and perhaps a megathon TV event like this – really like that idea….
Did you just suggest a way to make a report go viral, did I miss that? Sorry if so…
I’ve had the idea to make it easily rebrandable with an affiliate link to my back end products, where people can share the report AND put their own link in before passing on, thus making affiliate commision on any sales of our ebooks & recurring membership site?
Would that be cool or would it be better just to seek straightforward JV’s with people who rate my report?
Hope this question is better worded than the last one I sent in LOL and thanks in advance.
Cheers
Nicola
Hey Rich, my question is “How can you know FOR SURE that you’ve SUCCESSFULLY identified your constraint…when people tell you their constraint, sometimes you tell them that it might just be a symptom and to dig deeper. How can I know for sure?”
Hi Rich,
How do you get rid of the debilitating constraint of a fear of failure / fear of making mistakes?
Thank you so much for this report. It’s really an eye-opener. And on a subject that has been rarely dealt with – or as well as you’ve done here.

Hi Rich:
Thank you very much for the live 24 hours advice. It’s great. I’ll appreciate very much your advice to my big constraint of not working correctly in my goals. I define big goals and they stay in the paper, I don’t manage to follow-through them Which techniques and tools would you recommend to me to overcome this constraint?
Antonio
Hello Rich and thank you for this forum.
Here is my paradox. There are many “Gurus” who boast their IM acumen. Yet they are really unapproachable because of their “gatekeeper” systems. These “Gurus” end up passing up untold profits that can surpass their previous “highs”. Yet they are “too busy” to even glance at “what could be”.
How do you address the constaint of being too busy to personally address legitimate confidential J.V. offers? Isn’t the goal of any business venture to maximize your precious resources of time, money and energy?[Jay Abraham]

Hi Rich,
I’m hoping you can help me with this challenge I’ve been struggling with the last 2 or 3 months. I’m in a high ticket $3500 program where I receive 100% of the money and have done very will for the last 2.5 years. My people have not duplicated me. I’m very transparent and give all my tips, tricks and success blueprints. Yet, most people don’t take action. I’m feeling stuck in my ability to move forward because It’s almost like taking money knowing they are not going to do what it takes to be successful. The heavy hitters that I’ve talked to about this tell me I have to accept the majority will never take action and quit within 30 to 90 days. That is my experience. Do I really need to just accept this or is there something I can do to have a mind shift so I can move forward. I don’t want to give up the money but I want to sleep at night to. What do you suggest?
Are there JV partners or internet marketers like you or Frank Kern or Michael Cheney or Mike Filsaime, etc., that are interested in particular markets like health or business or a particular niche that are looking for these types of industries to promote?
Could you give names of people on line that are interested in health products or services in particular?
Thanks for being here.

I am trying to identify my constraint. My online business does not make enough for me to go full-time . . . which is something I greatly desire. I run a one-man limo service that burns up a lot of time and it keeps me away from my web business. Is my constraint the limo business because it keeps me away from the web business or is my constraint the income from the web business that does not allow me to “Go Pro”?
Great stuff Rich!
Thank you,

Hi Rich,
Thanks so much for doing this!
I am running an online business with a partner. The company is now finally bringing in profits. During the time have been in business together I have learned that my values and philosophies are not the same as my partner’s. I am passionate about the business while my partner only cares about the bottom line and nothing else. I see this person is more of an investor than a business/owner partner because other than putting up the money to start the company, he hasn’t done anything else to bring any value to the company. I have all these ideas and things I want to implement to grow the company yet having thie person as a partner is a big setback and constraint because it frustrates me when I think about this person as a partner.
What do you think is the best way to overcome this constraint?

p.s. I’m sorry if you are getting this multiple times. I am experiencing some server issues.
Doing a monthly dvd membership and find myself getting bogged down in the development of the monthly product as I’m always trying to make the best quality, best content, adding bells and whistles….when it’s all said and done and I look back at the previous months work I notice that I just wasted alot of time pushing myself up to the deadlines to get the product out. I realize that I need to keep myself down and just focus more on content.
What are some things I should impliment in my business system to get me more on a focused monthly plan that my business can use to create the products on a more consistent level? This will help relieve alot of stress and probably make the product even better.
I think I have a great idea for a vertical search engine (US, UK, AU, NZ) site but don’t have capital to bring in initial traffic. Long term it will survive from strong SEO links but initially it will take time. Should I seek venture capital or offer 3 month or longer free trial at the start?
Hey Rich,
What would you do to take advantage of the financial crisis in america (if you were in the financial biz) such has the huge losses people are experiencing with their 401k’s and IRA’s if you had an incredible program that could really help those people with high fixed rates ranging from 8% – 23% (which are unheard of) but don’t have a lot of marketing capital? Would you just put up a blog and use something like traffic geyser to get traffic??
Shalom,
Chris

Hi Rich,
Constraint: How to go from offline to online
My partner and I have a great relationship with an “offline” powerhouse in a very large market relating to health and personal development. He speaks to thousands of people in seminars every year and has a very successful corporate (training / coaching) business as well.
My question is: What is the best way to determine what online business model we should pursue to maximize his current off-line exposure and help create the same success online?
Thanks
Robert
Hi Rich,
Man.. you must be tired. I was watching you before I went to bed 12am eastern time. Hang in there amigo.
I’m currently on page 33 of your report and after listening to the legendary conference call I got to thinking about what my #1 constraint is.
My website currently generates a little over $1,000 a month and I more often than not, I find myself stuck and not knowing what to do next to grow my business. The most obvious solution was to focus on optimizing my website to get more pages ranked on the 1st page of Google. Upon further analysis, I came to the realization that my problem is I don’t know what activities I’m doing are producing results. Essentially, I don’t know if I’m doing things the right way. I’m leaning more and more on outsourcing projects… Your report has addressed most of the obstacles I’m facing but I’m having an information overload…my question is…
Do you offer a program or service that can have someone perform an analysis and work with me one on one to determine where I need to focus and where I can stop wasting time?
What’s the name of Walker’s launch business so we can contact them?
Thanks!

Hey Rich,
I am in the financial business and have a great product of fixed rate retirement accounts of 10% – 23%.
How would you take advantage of the financial crisis with people losing tons of money in their 401k’s and IRA’s to market a tremendous financial product like that without a lot of marketing capital?
Would you create a blog and use something like traffic geyser to get the traffic to get clients?? How would you market something that sounds almost “too good to be true”?

Hi Rich,
I run a successful seminar company in the UK.
We do stock market education and have done so for the last 2 years.
I now want to expand this worldwide and we are having our next seminar video’d to create a home-study course.
What is the best way to launch this online, should we ship the course out, create an online learning centre or both. Also what is a good price -point for a stock market product online.
Also – we offer a subscription for stock trades. Would it be wise to set up a seperate sales page for the trades?
As you can probably tell, my main aim is to get as many purchasers of the product and then get them onto the subscription.
You see in the UK we provide a mentoring service, do you have any ideas how this could be introduced for a world-wide audience. Which software to use…
Thanks

Also can you have to many links on a page?

Hey Rich,
Good Stuff!! My question is:
How can I know for sure that I’ve successfully identified my constraint.
When people have told you their constraint, sometimes you’ve said that it might be just a symptom and that they should to dig deeper.
So how can I know for sure?

I’ve been taking a hard look at my own constraints and one thing I’ve noticed is that I am trying to do it all myself.
My question is:
If you could only develop 3 skills yourself and outsource the rest, what would you decide to be an expert in – copy writing, email marketing, technical, etc. etc. etc.
(So basically I’m asking what the most expensive/hardest skills are to buy?)
Thanks,

Hi Rich, thanks for your useful advice.
My site is mainly a content site in the time management niche and 90% of my visitors come from Google search not Adwords, so my main income stream is from adsense.
The only thing I’m doing now is creating more articles for my visitors. I am planning to give my visitors with an e-course and e-book.
My question is: What advice would you give me market my e-book and e-course more effectively instead of just placing an opt in form on my website?
Thanks a lot Rich.
I sell lingerie online from my website. I have done some on page seo and off page seo. I am doing OK with the search engines but could be better.
I am building a small opt in list.
I make sales everyday but not enough.
I here lots said about membership sites, monthly recurring incomes, continuity programmes (which seem good for consumable products that run out) big box back end sales etc.
How does that transfer across to something such as clothing or underwear. Or if it doesn’t,
what is the one thing you would concentrate on now to take my business to the next level?
Hey Rich,
Thanks for the forum

Hi Rich.
This is much appreciated. I have a small online womens clothing business. I am having a hard time focusing in on niche topics to compliment my business (such as content to put in a blog or website).
My question is, can you still be successful without putting yourself out there like you and others in internet marketing? I prefer to stay behind the scenes.
Thanks…John
Perhaps I should have included that I get 200-300 visitors a day and make 3- 5 sales per day so perhaps conversation is low.
But it is difficult to know what is the priority to tackle here.
The conversation rate, the traffic, going for a recurring income (if that were possible,) the big box back end, (if that were possible,) or build the list bigger and bigger by offering them free stuff (which I will pay for) and email them special offers.
Hey Rich,
Thanks for this opportunity. I’m not sure how much you can help with a mental constraint but maybe you’ve met this before.
I provide a service like building a website for example from time to time and I find that I work my ass off for my client and hand them spiffy work. Yet when I have to work on my own virtual real estate it takes me ages and I have a trail of unfinished projects behind me.
I don’t really like client work but I do better at it than my own stuff! I grew up doing a lot of volunteer work and come from a family as well that donates a lot of quality work to organizations while not making much money. Guess we’ve not been entrepreneurial.
I’ve been trying ways to ‘reprogram’ my mind so I make that shift over to valuing my own skills and becoming a real entrepreneur. Any suggestions on reading material or other ideas to help change my way of thinking?
Jaden

Hi Rich,
Any other strategies to get rid of the debilitating constraint of a fear of failure / fear of making mistakes?

Hi Rich
CITY GUIDES – cash/ business boost needed…
I want to max the potential for my web business focussing on city guides.
My key contraint is the fact I have to stick with my (busy!) day job and I just don’t have enough time to max things out with building the web business.
What would you pick – if you had to pick just ONE way to build cash income on the back of a “city guide” topic?… a single approach that would have most potential to build income high enough to allow me to dump that day job and free-up the time to build this properly.
Thanks (you still look wide awake – how are you doing this!?) :)
best…
Paul
Ok – I just posted something regarding deadlines and then I looked at the post above me. It fits here too – I understand the working at a job while trying to build a business – it still begins with focusing in on what you can accomplish and in what time parameter. Of course, I’m not telling you what you need to know about the “where to begin part” – just that you have to put an extraordinary amount of time and focus in on doing both. Been there. It’s tough but doable.
What was that powerful blogging strategy for competitive intelligance? I only caught the tail end of it…as i needed a washroom break
I’ve been watching you for 20 hours now ;-)
Thanks
Rich
Great stuff Rich.
Can you Cashmaps product help with constraints?
How is the new product that you are launching different?
Where does Cashmaps fit into the big picture ?
BECOME DEADLINE Oriented! However small that comment Rich made earlier this morning, without understanding the necessity of working within deadlines – self set – to accomplish any kind of work, whether it be a an hour, a day, a month, or a season, it is far more easier to get through any project when one sets a deadline for oneself.
I was fortunate to work for newspapers and a magazine early on in my career life so deadlines have come become second nature to working from home -
Granted, it make takes some time to get “regulated” at this but if you just segment your time, you will get far more done than ever before.
Rich – you rock! I hung in for about 18 of your 26 hours. HOW DID YOU DO IT?!?!! I would have been incoherent in about half that time…
I asked a question around 2 AM about starting an internet business with a lot more time than money, and your response was very helpful – and led me to pull up and re-read your Manifesto: the Missing Chapter. Luckily for me, my INTERESTS and STRENGTHS both dovetail in the winery blog I’ve recently started, but thanks to your help, I’ll be much more aware of that distinction!
My take-away from your 26 hour marathon? It was ABSOLUTELY about taking a fresh look at what’s holding me back.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Now – go home to those beautiful girls of yours.

Hi, Rich,
Thanks a bunch! … for spending the past 26 hours with us. And thank you for the powerful free report. I’ve barely started reading the report (as I wanted to listen to you as much as I could), but I have already gained lots of valuable information. Yes, some of the info in the report has already hit me kind of hard, but it is exactly the kind of advice I have been seeking in order to open my eyes and see what is holding me back. My main constraint is definitely #4 – An Inefficient Work Style, and I feel I now have the ammunition I need to tackle it as well as other constraints.
I want to throw out a quick “thank you” to Yaro Starak for introducing me to you. I am thrilled to have found both of you.
I think you are a genius. Let me know when I can interview you for http://www.bloggingforboomers.com
How is Dec-2008?
Rich,
Absolutely Fantastic. I didn’t know you where doing this until I checked my email this morning at 5:00am. So I began watching at about 5:10am and didn’t leave until you brought it to an end at 2:00pm.
I especially liked that tip about using a blog to track your competition. I guess tips like that are what set the pro’s apart from the hobbyists…I never would have come up with something like that on my own — that was a gem. Thanks!
Of course, everything you’ve been saying about constraints has also been a real eye opener. It makes perfect sense, when you stop to examine things from that perspective. Insightful…
Thanks again,

THANKS FOR STOPPING !!!
I mean that seriously! I couldn’t handle another day being glued to your live stream. I was meant to be looking after my wife because she had her wisdom teeth out a day or 2 ago :) Lucky she picked up the ball there and looked after herself and our 15 month old little girl :)
So, you stole my whole day from me! (thanks)
How did it end up? I would love to have been there at the end.. Sounds like it might have gone to 26 hours?
Thanks so much for your time and so much valuable information. I learn well from lectures, discussions and other real life questions and answers.
I tuned in at 6am Aussie time when you were 4 hours in. I finished up at midnight, so about 18 hours. I took a few breaks (more than you were able to) and made plenty of notes.
Now today I am going to be busy overcoming my number 1 constraint.
I wonder if ‘dropping everything’ to watch your live feed was a ‘weakness’ of mine. I don’t see it like that. I think I am fortunate to be able to have flexibility to ‘re prioritize’ quickly and take this as an ‘opportunity’.
(hmm, yes this ‘flexibility’ to ‘prioritize’ can be a constraint and something I need to control – my attention can be yanked all over the place)
Something Yaro Starak said in dealing with information overload, is to select a few reputable information sources and trust them. You are one of my few information sources.
I also learned a lot about myself and how I operate my attention in long bursts of focus, lead time to get into the zone on deep analysis tasks.
Thanks Again..

Rich,
First – absolutely brilliant! Thank you!!!
Secondly – You gave a strategy GEM toward the end of your broadcast relating to setting up an internal blog to track the activities of a good model. WOW!!!
Want to learn more on this GEM! Do you currently have anything that explains this process in detail? Any information would be terrific!
You are brilliant! With gratitude,
Maria

Hey Rich,
Many thanks for your fabulous reports. First “The Internet Business Manifesto”, then “The Attention Age Doctrine” and now this…
I have shared a few thoughts from your recent release to tell some business associates about Infusionsoft. I know it is THEE software you use to drive and manage the growth of your own business. How do you see Infusion helping other entrepreneurs and small business owners?
Best,
Amanda
