If You’re Reading This Blog Post… You Could Get $100,000 Worth of Business Coaching and Internet Marketing Products From Me

Update Sept 29, 2008, Monday

We’ve narrowed our decision down, but boy is this tough. Stay tuned for the winner!

Ever have one of those days where you were so excited to get started you woke up before your alarm clock was set to go off?

That’s exactly what happened to me this morning. Because I knew exactly what I needed to tell you on my blog today — and I couldn’t wait for you to read it!

See, Friday night, Debi asked me “Do you think all your subscribers fully realize how explosive the elimination of even one, key constraint can be for their businesses?” Frankly, I had to confess I haven’t really connected those dots for you.

  • How all the things you’ve already done to grow your business have created enormous back-pressure that is suddenly released; bringing a sudden surge of growth, sales and profits …
  • How the demands on your time and energy that have you slaving away 60, 80 even 100 or more hours a week simply vanish; giving you time and energy for the things that really matter to you …
  • And how all that new money and time — and the prestige and respect that flow to you as the owner of a business that’s taking your niche by storm — can change your life.

I want you to think about that. Hard.

I want you to ask yourself, “If every major constraint in my businesses suddenly vanished — right now, today — what would my life be like in a month? In two months? On New Year’s Day, 2009?

“How many new customers would I have? How many more sales would I be making every day? How much more could I pay myself?

“How much more fun would it be to go to work each morning and preside over a company that is bursting at the seams … that’s living up to its potential … and that is making me richer than I ever thought possible?

“What would I do … what would I buy … where would I go to celebrate my succsess? What would my new home look like? What car would I be driving? What would my next family vacation be like? How would it feel to see so much money piling up in my shopping cart every day, I’d never have to worry about money ever again?”

Because when you think about it, removing constraints isn’t just about eliminating the frustrating problems you wrestle with every day. It’s not just about spending less time at work and more time with your family.

It’s about breaking through to the next level … making your mark on your entire industry … and guaranteeing yourself and your family all the riches that flow from that kind of success.

I’ve seen it happen scores of times in my clients’ companies. Once I help them identify and eliminate the constraints that are blocking their success, the company is instantly transformed and the owner’s life permanently altered for the better.

And when I discovered this new way of creating success, it happened for me, too. These days, the toughest decision I have to face is whether to buy Debi a new Mercedes or a new Maserati. I have a king’s ransom socked away for a rainy day. My company produces all the money I could ever want — almost instantly, on demand.

But just three, short years ago, none of that was true. The one, huge difference? I learned how to correctly identify and eliminate my constraints.

Back then, my big constraint was my positioning in my market. Sure, I was well known in insider circles as the coach to the gurus, but to the general marketplace I was invisible, nobody knew who I was. So, I combined the one-two-three punch of Silver Bullets #2, #6, and #7.

Specifically, I combined the knowledge gained from silver bullet #2 (fast and frequent intelligence) to write a viral report leveraging silver bullet #6, social psychology marketing, guided by silver bullet #7 (removing the buyers bottlenecks).

The result — a viral report I entitled The Internet Business Manifesto — two weeks later my coaching program sold out in just 2 hours and 14 minutes. Immediately there was $1 million sitting in my PayPal account, plus a $217,000 monthly recurring revenue stream totaling 2.6 million over the next 12 months. In total $3.6 million from a single free report. And of course, millions more have flowed to me in the years since.

The money’s great. The sense of achievement … the knowledge that I alone are in control of my business destiny is even greater. And frankly, the prestige that comes with all of that is amazing.

About a month and a half ago, for example, I was invited to Las Vegas to an invitation-only summit for some of the world’s most successful web entrepreneurs. Later this week I’m flying to another exclusive meeting of the 100 most powerful online marketers at Chicago’s Hard Rock Hotel.

I’m not telling you any of this to brag; only to get you thinking about how quickly and how easily you could be joining us. Remember: I’ve helped put more people in these exclusive meetings than any other business coach alive. And if you’re one of the lucky ones who gets into my Guided Profit System program, I’ll get you there, too!

So, to help you connect with the radical ways your life will change once we identify and eliminate the constraints in your business, we’re going to have a contest.

And to really get your juices flowing, the winner’s going to get:

A full ride scholarship to my upcoming coaching program – where we’ll work together each and every day for thirty days. Together we’ll obliterate one business debilitating constraint after another. The net effect will be that what you write down below will be true for you no latter than Halloween.

A one day blitz for your business – we’ll send you your airfare and set you up in a posh hotel right around the corner from my office so my entire team and I can focus exclusively on your business. Every resource I have will be entirely focused on you and your success.

A complimentary spot in my $25,000 private reserve club– including private masterminds (with other elite online entrepreneurs) at my office, dedicated time with my staff, and exclusive personal access to me and my vast resources.

Read My New Report – The Uncertainty Syndrome: The Entrepreneurial Emergency

Then Leave A Comment Below and answer these three questions:

    1. Do you know what your single greatest constraint is right now? If so, what is it?

    1. How many constraints away are you from having the business and the life of your dreams?

  1. What are the three greatest benefits you’ll enjoy once those constraints are removed?

I’ll even give you some clues to what the winning posts will contain. First, they probably won’t contain sob stories. I don’t want to sound heartless, but frankly, my coaching programs are not about obsessing over your challenges and obstacles to success. It’s about exploding through them with a “Nothing-can-stand-in my way” attitude and the tools that make your success inevitable.

Instead, the winning entries will demonstrate – as specifically as possible – What your single greatest constraint is right now… What would your life be like without these constraints … The benefits you will enjoy when these constraints are removed.

The person who understands the most how much this concept is affecting your business in a negative way, and how miraculous it will be when it is gone, will be the winner.

Then we will turn that into phenomenal business growth in the year ahead.

Beginning this Wednesday 10PM EST – I’ll announce winner right here on this page. Make sure you use your right email address so we can get in touch with you.

So what are you waiting for?

Give me your answers now!

    1. What’s my biggest constraint? After reading your book I have to commit that I am gaining several constraints, but most of my constraints could get solved through your upcoming coaching program. Right now my biggest constraint is that I have never made building a strong personal network the necessary priority.

    2. I have more or less constraints inside all 7 constraints.

    3. The three gratest benefits: There wouldn’t be any barrier in getting a meteoric career. To build have huge business-success where the organisation would get most of things done – then it would be fun to go to work each morning. I would spend more time with my family and friends and enjoy liveing without any economic problems.

    Rich,
thank you for the report…I have been wrestling with the question of constraints for a few weeks now and I was struggling….
Curiously enough, I have came to this conclusion… This scared the hell out of me…. My biggest constraint was that I didn’t know what my biggest constraint/s are…This was a kick in the pants for me to get off my butt and drill down until I found it / them

    1. Do you know what your single greatest constraint is right now? If so, what is it?

My biggest constraint is a lack of a person or team to do the things that I am really bad at… which is executing…( I’m compensating for my weaknesses instead of playing to my strengths )

    2. How many constraints away are you from having the business and the life of your dreams?

It is difficult to say because if I knew what all the constraints are I would be working around them and they wouldn’t be constraints they would be symptoms or problems….however…There are at least four that I have identified so far. This is a work in progress…

    3. What are the three greatest benefits you’ll enjoy once those constraints are removed?

The satisfaction of moving out of the business boonies or backwoods and realising my goals which are definitely worthy of me…My goal is to create a world that people want to live in and no, that’s not original…it came from Robert Dilts…

Creating the business and the life that I deserve and having the time to enjoy it with my wife, my kids, my family and my friends…It’s a quality thing…not just quantity

Proving all of the nay sayers wrong and validating my ambition which is to be the pre-eminent overdelivery guy in my field. The go to and obvious choice….

I’m tempted to go on but your busy and I want you to know I appreciate everything I’ve read from you over the last few years

Hi Rich,The biggist thing stooing me is not knowing all the stuff that you need to know about the internet and how to use it, how to do all these things that you write about. Some i know about but there are also that I don’t. but am learning slowly on my own with some hel from a few friend .

I would say I am not to far away on one site but a little farther awy on the other on. They both have there own stuff to help e out with but there is always some other stuff that you need that they don’t have or offer, I just need alto more info to get it all done.

The biggist thing is to get my busness up and runnigng so I can enjoy the better things in life that I have never had.To give my grand kids the thing that I could not give my own kids.

Thanks for the oportunity to be in this contest of yours.

My biggest obstacle is me… I have learnt in the past year through all the study that I have done and all the stuff that has overwhelmed me that I get so distracted with stuff…

In the past week I have got stuck in, and am now on fire! I have created a squeeze page and am learning how to get my emails going out… affiliates are starting to happen and I will GET THERE…

there is no overnight success, however, I have learnt, that taking action will get me there.

Looking forward to your call tomorrow at 1am my time (I’m in Australia), Rich, you have sparked a lot in me and what you talk about really gels and make sense to me!

    cheers!

What a fascinating read! Would that more material was as concise, easy to understand and just plain as fun as that!!

    1. Do you know what your single greatest constraint is right now? If so, what is it?

My biggest constraint would no doubt be the ability to plan a constraint free life. I’ve run into so many walls and fought so many uphill battles that the disillusionment has worked its way deep inside where it has completely altered my thinking to include the constraints I’ve grown accustomed to. To forge ahead… unhindered… is just a dream.

    2. How many constraints away are you from having the business and the life of your dreams?

I think that once I put your silver bullets into action, most of the constraints will fall like dominoes… and as the reading suggests… “you’re only one constraint away from a million-dollar payday”… dare I dream again?

    3. What are the three greatest benefits you’ll enjoy once those constraints are removed?

Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness of course! I know it sounds trite, but our founding fathers were no dummies and when they penned those words they struck a chord in the souls of everyone in the land… a chord that still rings true today (although difficult to hear at times because of all the noise).

  • SHER TRICO

My single greatest contraint is FEAR. Fear to get started, fear to lose money, fear to fail, fear to not take the steps I need to in order. I have excellent ideas, but my fear prevents me from taking action on them. I can’t tell you the countless times someone braver than me came out with “MY” idea and made a killing.

I am one contraint away from having my business and the life of my dreams. I am like a plant that needs a litle fertilizer to grow. If I can conquer this one contraint, I can rocket through all of the things that have held me back for so long.

The three greatest benefits that I would enjoy would be the freedom from my shackels of fear, freedom to do what I want, and not working for the man, which by the way sucks.

    Rich,
This is another amazing report. You are truly an enlightened business executive. I learned so much from your free report about what is limiting my progress – thank you.

After reading some of the comments below I just want to suggest to some folks that yes, winning this contest is no doubt desirable and could be transformational. But if you believe this is your only chance for success – that belief may very well be your single biggest constraint.

The ability is within you! Whether or not you win this contest – decide now to take the information from this report and apply it. Join the coaching program – somehow, figure out how to come up with the money if you believe you can’t afford it.

And take the steps, apply the lessons – do what Rich coaches you to do and own your own success.

I understand where you are coming from – one of my biggest constraints early on was “waiting” for that one coach, or program to show me the way.

Let that belief go and replace it with the new belief that you already have all the information you need to move forward. If you didn’t get that out of The Uncertainty Syndrome – read it again. Participate in the coaching – don’t just show up – participate.

    Be your own guru.

    Best Wishes to all.
    Fran

Hi! I entered yesterday but it didn’t show up anywhere. Here goes

    1. Do you know what your single greatest constraint is right now? If so, what is it?
I read the report this morning. I have every single constraint that you mention! I’m flying blind, buy the seat of my pants and have been for 10 years. While I show profit every month, it’s nothing compared to what it could be. I could be helping so many more people. geez.
My single biggest constraint is the lack of systems. I do everything myself and never get to produce product although I’ve got a binder full of great ideas.

    2. How many constraints away are you from having the business and the life of your dreams?
I have all the constraints. I’d really love to be a part of your course. I’ve been a teacher for almost 30 years and have lots of information to share with the world. Stuff they need and want. Whenever I put a product out there, it sells. But I am so swamped. Have been employed full time while I wrote my book and created my online business. Makes me nutso.

    3. What are the three greatest benefits you’ll enjoy once those constraints are removed?

It’s always made me nauseous to realize that the Miss America Pageant system is the largest provider of scholarships to women. I’d like to be the person who is the largest provider of scholarships. I worked full time while going to school and put myself through. It was really difficult.
I could do this for them.

The next benefit is that I’ll be able to carry through on my pledge to help people discover their inner wealth. That’s what my website is all about.

The 3rd benefit is that I’ll be able to breathe and really get the products out there that help people. Products they’ve asked for. That’s be so great. I’m a born teacher and have so much to tell them.

Thanks so much for considering me. I have no clue how you’ll decide. I didn’t want to write a book here.
I’ve done a great deal of work and learned so much. I am drowning in a niche that I helped to start but has filled with so many wanna bees…….I need to reclaim my place.

    Love and hugs…Catherine

I know I’m late but I just got the message and boy could I use the the hope and clairity that you are offering the lucky winner. I believe that everything happens for a reason and that it is always the right reason, even if we do not understand immediatly, with time the fog rolls back and there is clarity, understanding and personal growth.

    1) My biggest constraint is not knowing what is holding me back.
    2)One mentioned above.
    3) a. Security for my family
    b. understanding to help others succeed
    c. peace of mind for me

    Thanks for the opportunity,

    Warm Regards,

And here’s just a P.S. to my post.

I want to be the first female internet guru.
…not to mention being able to afford decent health insurance.

I’m out here by myself and have stuck with it for all these years because I truly have something of value to say.
Helping women (and men) discover their inner wealth and stand in their own power is vitally important.

Win or lose this contest, I’ll still be out here plugging away. I’d really love to speed it up a bit!

So, thanks again. All the best to the winner!

Q1. Do you know what your single greatest constraint is right now? If so, what is it?

A1.) My biggest constraint right now is self management. I just started cutting out two hour blocks of time where I can apply laser-like focus onto 1 objective with absolutely no distractions, period. It works like a charm.

Q2.) How many constraints away are you from having the business and the life of your dreams?

A2.) There are a few, I believe we will always have constraints that we will uncover, what I found to be important is to never think I’ve “perfected” anything. I’m always happy but never content with where I’m at. Always uncovering constraints and obliterating them. I’m always looking for new mountains to conquer. This is the winning mindset.

Q3.) What are the three greatest benefits you’ll enjoy once those constraints are removed?

A3.) When you perfect self management and select for yourself routines of laser focused time blocks with adequate breaks, the by-products are…

1.) More freedom for your family, friends and business interests
2.) More of your dreams accomplished in less time by leveraging off of the available technology, other people’s money and other people’s time.
3.) I noticed that when I Make sure that my customers and employees are happy, they make sure I’m happy. Happiness is the only reason I’m in business. The money is a great tool to buy me the freedom I need to be happy.

I’ve noticed what works is instead of trying to learn from everybody, which gets you nowhere, to pick one person, mentor with them until you have success, you can can’t fail.

    Warmly,

    Dear Rich,

You are a great teacher and I think it was a tremendously great idea and action of you creating the The Entrepreneurial Emergency eBook. All other marketers/teachers/gurus out there push all sort of products and techniques but do little to address the entrepreneur/user themselves…its like selling a whole bunch of tools to somebody who wants to get into the handyman/repair business and showing how to use some of the tools but not getting more involved in making sure that the user is conmfident in putting it all together or that there is not smoething holding him/her back from moving forward.

The single greatest constraint, really is all about getting qualified traffic to my websites that will actually seriously look at my product. Everybody out there either knows what tools to use and or what to buy to generate overall traffic to a site, but a good portion of that traffic might not be exactling on target. Further, the other constraint is tailoring web pages/messages specific to the particular user that may be viewing the site (I don’t think one size fits all works all the time). Obviously there are also the slef imposed constraints of whether you or the countless many other IM gurus that I follow have “THE” difinitive answers at the moment, in other words which guru to choose.

I have always been one to be a bit outlandish and bigger than life in doingh some of my busines promotion and customer acquisition, so I am not constrained by that. I do not think that I am that many constraints away from havinmg the ultimate business that we all dream of and so desire and can “almost touch, taste and smell it…its’ so close”.

THe greatest benefits of having any constraints removed from my moving ahead is being able to do more such succesful business repeatedly and with other/helping others do the same. Ultimately, if one is not greedy, it is about not just hepling yourself but helping those around you that can be helped…”paying it forward”. Especially in this exact moment in American history with such bleak financial outlooks by many economists…now is the ultimate best time to help yourself and to help others. To paraphrase President Kennedy “Ask not what your county can do for you, but what we can do together for the bettermeant of mankind”.

Maybe a little over the top, but I think right at the moment, appropriate.

    Stay Golden, Rich!

1.My biggest constraint is my lack of a coach and/or a network i.e. somebody to really share my thoughts and ideas with, this has also a little to with where I live in Northern Europe.

2.Besides those mentioned above I probably suffer from all the constraints you can ever imagine. Still I persist and I continue vigorously to try harder than ever Avis or anybody else out there. So any constraint would mean residual income emerging, accelerating and exploding.

3.Background: I am seventy years young, live in Sweden, married to a ten years younger wife, have three daughters, one of them with Multiple Sclerosis. My wife has some brain related health probably possible to cure if I could afford it. I am a retired mining
engineer not having earned enough money to support the lifestyle I want. I have tried to establish a homebased business since about a
year this far with no success. It will come sooner or later.
If sooner the better. The sooner the better.
    Benefit 1.
A more confortable second half of the life for me and my wife.
    Benefit 2.
A better life for my MS-suffering daughter and the others in my family.
    Benefit 3.
The opportunity give something back to those who helped me out and the industry that rendered it possible.
Feeling honored to get this invitation
    I wish
All the best to you all

    Hi Rich,

    1. Do you know what your single greatest constraint is right now? If so, what is it?

I would say that #4 is my single greatest constraint. I know I do not have an efficient work style and this definitely limits my productivity.

    2. How many constraints away are you from having the business and the life of your dreams?

I recognize that I am 5 constraints away from having the business & life of my dreams.
#2 Flying Blind, #3 Linear Thinking,
#4 Inefficient Work Style, #6 Outdated, one-way marketing tactics, #7 Buyer Bottlenecks

    3. What are the three greatest benefits you’ll enjoy once those constraints are removed?

    A true sense of accomplishment
    Time freedom
    Income freedom

Thanks for your great information. I appreciate your time and commitment to helping others.

    All the best,
    Erin

    Hey Rich,

Wow 100.000$ worth of help that is almost hard to believe.
But anyway why not give it a shot, what do I have to loose right!?

    1. The single constraint I have is my belief system that keeps me either dropping projects that I have started (self sabotage) or not going for it at all (unworthiness).
    2. How far… not far… just far enough that I havent seen the $$ in my account yet…
    3. Benefits (apart from learning a whole lot more about business)
    1. Peace of mind to focus on others rather than being all concerned about myself and what I can and cant do, so I can be of help to others.

    2. Enough money to take care of not only myself but also being able to support charity work.

    3. Fullfilling my purpose that I was sent here to live out.

I thank you for this opportunity, and for the work that you are putting out there to help people achieve their dreams and aspirations. This is great!

Skating in literally at the last minute here. 😉

My biggest constraint, of the main three types you listed in your report, is of the self-imposed variety, though it could be argued that it’s the no mistakes one, too. For example, I don’t want to advertise until I have an office space lined up. So I now have a delay to overcome; advertising won’t bring in the people immediately anyway, so I could have been advertising *while* looking for an office so that both getting a client and getting an office coincided.

How many constraints away am I? I’d say at least three. All three of the constraints listed apply to me, and I’m sure there are probably more I’m not aware of.

Three greatest benefits. Well, I’d obviously see more success because the roadblocks would be gone. Plus I’d be able to balance my life better; the time management stuff you mentioned in the report looks like it maintains a very healthy balance, and I really like the three day cycle you laid out. I plan to implement that regardless. And third would be the joy I get from helping others overcome their problems and improve their lives. What I learn, I can pass on, in part at least, to my clients.

  • http://www.moneywink.com christine

    Hi Rich

Thanks for generously giving us such phenomenal information! You are succinct, clear and mind blowing. Now about this competition. I would love to get $100,000 in coaching and products – who wouldn’t? And if I win it I’m sure it would be one of your greatest challenges yet.

My niche is difficult to say the least, they won’t have any money soon, they’re from lots of different backgrounds and countries and they need a lot of help. Yep, kids. Tomorrow’s entrepreneurs. And I want to capture them now, teach them and keep them as clients for a long time.

My blog is new and focuses on creative kids who have made it as the World’s Youngest Director at ten, a candy manufacturer at seven, an internet queen at twelve, published authors at four, six and above or the youngest drummer and clothing manufacture at four. Yes, they are out there and doing it large.

But no one knows about these dynamos and while other kids burn hours away in chat rooms they could be becoming the best version of themselves. I want to wake them up and I know you’re the man to help me especially now since you’re offering.

    Now my constraints:
    1. I believe my single greatest constraint is sticking to the strategies I have outlined without being continually sidetracked by the newest latest information out there. My next single constraint is allowing myself to read my niche market correctly.
    2. I think constraints are like layers. You only see the ones that need to be cleared at any one time. Right now I see two. But as soon as the light shines on them others may rapidly appear. The life of my dreams? Two constraints and a mind shift away.
    3. The three greatest benefits I’ll enjoy once those constraints are removed include more time to really strategize and get into this, write another movie and buy a nice house.

So, now you know my constraints but can you live with you’re constraints with me:
    1. My niche is underdeveloped but large.
    2. I live in another country – but hey with technology that shouldn’t be a problem.
    3. I’m female and I notice you don’t have too many of ‘us’ showing up.
    4. My online blog is new which means there are few problems that can’t be fixed and few successes to talk about.
    5. My background is in banking, mining, movies and some IT. My tech knowledge is average and now on a very steep permanent learning curve.

So, if you can help make me a success it would make you a god in everyone’s eyes… good for business don’t you think?

    Thanks for the opportunity

    Hi Rich,

Fantantic report. Made me realise a couple of important things which i already knew. Even better, what a magnificent contest. (hope i can win this).
    Here are the Q&A’s you asked for;
    1. Do you know what your single greatest constraint is right now? If so, what is it?
Doing to many things at once – lack of focus.

    2. How many constraints away are you from having the business and the life of your dreams?
I believe that there are 3 constraints, ther are:
    i) Lack of focus – doing too many things at once.
ii) Lack of confidence – due to couple of failures in business venture
iii) Procrastination – mostly due to the above 2 reasons,

    3. What are the three greatest benefits you’ll enjoy once those constraints are removed?
i)able to tap into my full potential to achieve true wealth (as someone quotes, “Wealth is not how much money you have. Wealth is what you’re left with after you loose all your money. True wealth lies in your power to give and receive at your full potential.”
ii) being able to contribute, suppot and giving back to the society that needs help.
iii)purpose in life and leave a legacy behind.

    Thanks for the opportunity.

    Regards,
    Edwin

    Hi Rich,

Thought I’d jump in at this opportunity – isn’t everyday a chance like this crops up! I am looking to create an awesome resource for language education, translating and interpreting, and I am literally chomping at the bit to get things underway. Already I have some of my tutors and fellow students pumped at the prospect of what my business ideas are and how they will be achieved. I have made it my highest priority to see my ambitions realised, as my services have been years in the making, with more to come yet. My impatience may be my downfall, however, careful study has been at the forefront – both in studying my services and in business model. It springs to mind now that I should mention certain constraints that may delay my progress:

    1. Do you know what your single greatest constraint is right now? If so, what is it?

As with constructing any new business, finance is always an issue. However, a simple bank loan will rectify this. The greatest constraint is not lack of confidence, nor is it attitude or lack of passion for what project I am going to embark on. It is the fine-tuning of service provision, in combination with learning smart management techniques and understanding legal red-tape that marrs my shining path.

How many constraints away are you from having the business and the life of your dreams?

We (myself and my fellow educators) have alot of tools at our disposal. I think that the effective application of these tools and getting that ‘nudge’ to get me on the proper track will be vital in maintaining a strong and healthy business. I know our services will be very well-received with the niche markets I have in mind, and I know that every single client we serve will be very well rewarded for their investments. If I can conquer the legals and perhaps find a financial backer, in addition to some IT help, then my business will be ready to launch, and literally EXPLODE when it does!

    3. What are the three greatest benefits you’ll enjoy once those constraints are removed?

    1) The greatest benefit, without a doubt, is that students will be receiving tertiary-level or college education in the language of their choice – internationally recognized as a qualified distance education unit – without the need to sit for SAT’s. This enables people who may have had poor SAT scores, high school students and businesspeople a means to learn a language pertinent to them at a time they can do so, at an investment that is very realistic and affordable. In addition, businesses and advertising firms can be at ease, because translation and interpretive services will be of the highest quality, so that there is NO misunderstanding between language groups.

    2) Our business will be able to provide solid charity contributions – paid from our business profits – to assist in various charity groups in the languages in which we teach. Our mission statement includes the desire to make a difference in the world, and not just for our clients or ourselves, but to people who need the improved resources to better themselves.

    3) With helping others, helping one’s self is a natural occurrence in my book. I want my colleagues to be very well provisioned for their time and effort…myself included. I want to be able to exponentially grow this business to incorporate most of the major languages in the world, and being able to also effectively teach English to other language speakers. I want to invest alot of the profits into growing the business in this way, while also being able to cater for myself and my family, and live the life the way that WE WANT to live, not the way that we HAVE to live. FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!!!

I understand that is a big comment, but its a big idea with a lotta passion in it. There are alot of services like me out there, but this will be the only one to be accredited, be interactive, be LIVE (web 2.0), and be for everyone to use.

Nice work on the Manifesto! I want your success!

    Rich,

This report is the stuff magic is made of – dreams can become reality..it takes guts and perseverance. Like having a skin four inches thick – like a white rhino. Rare and not seen enough. Belief, clarity and purpose are extremely important.

    Constraints – definition
    Noun
    1. something that limits a person’s freedom of action
    2. repression of natural feelings
    3. a forced unnatural manner

    1. Do you know what your single greatest constraint is right now? If so, what is it?

Right now the biggest constraint I have is not being organised enough. Being the carer of 5, plus working the business from home, learning to balance them both plus time for me is the biggest constraint for me.

I know what I want, goals and so on for my family, my clients and me. Its getting the balance between all of these things that is the greatest challenge for me.

When you look death in the face, it forces you to look at your life and where you want to be. It forced me to say, hey, girl get off of your bottom and get out there more! Get out of your comfy zone and live.

Living takes real guts and that is something we all have – courage. People just often realise that it is not the potential or opportunity that is holding them back. Rich it is the “constraints” which do it to you all the time.

Identifying and knowing your constraints — its a kick in the face — a way of seeing the world in a different life.

A quote by Nelson Mandela which is a total inspiration to me on my office wall :-

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate,
Our deepest fear is that we are all powerful
    beyond measure.
It is our light. not our darkness
    which most frightens us.
We ask ourselves Who Am I to Be brilliant, gorgeous,
    talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are we not to be?
You are a child of God,
Your playing small does not serve the worls.
There is nothing enlightening about shrinking
so that other people won’t feel insecure in
    around you.
We are all mean’t to shine as children do.
It is in everyone and as we let our own light shine,
    we unconsciously give other people
    permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
    our prescence automatically liberates others”.
    – Nelson Mandela

    2. How many constraints away are you from having the business and the life of your dreams?

None – now I know this sounds like I am not real. I give myself permission to achieve the goals I am setting and the freedom to be successful in a area I love. Life as I know it is a two sided coin – life and death. I chose life, knowing that death is something we all face. I am not scared anymore of the unknown as that adds to the everyday challenge of living.

    3. What are the three greatest benefits you’ll enjoy once those constraints are removed?

Financial and personal independence, security for my family and quality of life for clients. In helping others to success, I am helping myself to a better quality of life. The world is a small place really and in aiding one another we can make this world a better place.

Thank you again and wishing you continued success,

    Sue in Aus

    Rich,

This competition really is cool, and no doubt the most craziest out there.

    1. Do you know what your single greatest constraint is right now? If so, what is it?

-As I still haven’t officially started a business online, and not having any offline business experience,I’d say I have some constraints. The greatest constraint I have now is time management. I’m still a student and the school just never cease to keep me quite busy. As I’m going to sit for an extremely important examination and having serious financial problem at the same time, I want to get the best out of both, and I’m committed to do so. I mean it.

    2. How many constraints away are you from having the business and the life of your dreams?

-I’d say 2(excluding time management): information overload and the money to get started. While I’m still a total newbie in the world of marketing and business, the vast information out there really keep my mind twisted. I’ve spent ten of thousands on buying so-called “best” courses out there, which only ended up making the newbie’s mind of me confused. But, I have never spend on a coaching program, as many need you to book air tickets(too expensive for me). And this is the first time I see an online coaching program, that makes me feel excited as if I saw rays of light, especially from somebody who’s widely known as the “Guru’s Guru”, not some lucky anonymous. Now the second one is the funds needed to get started. As mentioned before I’ve serious financial problem now, I can’t really spend a lot on getting started. This is a major pullback for me. Many of the courses, ebooks out there need quite a large sum of money to follow and apply. As for the article marketing type, my writing SUCKS to the core(as you can judge by reading my post) that it only runs the reader away, this is again a factor which makes me can’t go the free way.

    3. What are the three greatest benefits you’ll enjoy once those constraints are removed?

-The potential would be a lot to the extent of unlimited. While there’s a lot, I’d just give 3 of what I think is the most important for me. The first being able to achieve the financial freedom I’ve been dreaming of. With the financial freedom, I can buy the things that my loved wants; help the poor; obtain the items I want; don’t have to worry about money anymore…… too many! In addition to having financial freedom, I can also be very confident in carrying out every each step of my businesses. This value alone is worth more than anything else, as successful businesses can keep on coming, and best of all keep on improving, this then ensure you earn more and more. Lastly, with the experiences gathered from businesses launched, I can- just like you :-)- help thousands of other people achieve the financial freedom and lifestyles they deserve, not having the cold hard life anymore.

Personally I’m somebody who like to see smiles and happiness displayed on other people’s face, that’s why the benefits I thought of is in a way or another connected to giving or helping other people.

Wishing your continued success and cheers!

    Hi Rich
I posted this last night but it’s not showing so here it is again.

    Christine McVeigh

Hi Rich, My previous comment (101on this blog) confined itself to answering your questions in the broadest sense,
    scope and potential.
So to provide more detail, bringing web and multimedia skills together to execute a precisely tailored business strategy is my dream. My goal to make a million or more within 2 years
After submitting to quite a few lists, I’ve recently attended a 4 day conference by Andrew and Daryl Grant in Sydney where I came away with an appreciation of the synergies in a strategic business model and was wizened to the scope for outsourcing. Then onto a brilliant 3 day seminar on web 2 and seo by Barnaby de Palma on the Gold Coast which demonstrated in real time effective traffic driving strategies using web 2 technologies and blogging.
Its been a privilege to attend and affirmed for me that there’s no substitute for learning from great mentors. The next step is applying and redefining applications for my own purposes.

I want to set this up right from the beginning. Get the big picture!

Transforming from the inside out, working to strengths, passions, and finding a niche to develop a fully fledged business with unique branding which monetises exponentially is what its all about. Also unleashing my potential and creativity in a way which adds to the whole and contributes something real. Presence!
My final comment is how well your reports complement each other.True appreciation and in a monetising sense!
All of this and why aint I Rich! Yet already.
And hey yeah, I’m a single dad with 3 teenage kids on the poverty line at the moment. From zero to hero my headline!

BTW I have a 100% success rate(measured by net profit) for those I help more than 4 months. I doubt this will continue forever, but its fun for now.

  • Thomas J

[Explanatory note: A very second half of my contribution was chopped off (see above Thomas J, 2008-09-24 18-46-48). Here is the part that went missing.]

After a terrible, tearfilled night the most beautiful, caring woman a man could hope to have as a wife handed me a crumpled handwritten note. It said:

    >Oh my God
    >I can’t believe that we don’t have a life together anymore
    >I don’t believe that we have lost everything
    >I don’t know how to reduce my last nearly 40 years to a suitcase
    >and maybe a couple of boxes
    >Oh my God

The harsh truth behind these words is she feels betrayed. The man she thought was happy and successful at what he does had suddenly, seemingly overnight, reduced them both to virtual paupers, income evaporated, savings exhausted and debts of more than a million dollars and the family home in severe jeopardy.

No more beach house, exciting overseas trips or comfortable conversations with friends.

The symptoms list must have been the model for Rich’s Constraint #1: “Misperception about making mistakes”

Always learning, never doing; knowing doing gap; analysis paralysis… they’re all there. Except analysis behind the curve – the strength of my business vision draws from this.

But as for the other elements in Rich’s diagram, they really are only symptoms, not causes. The actual constainor, the part of the system that’s slowing things down – is ME.

Sure, there may be different ‘explanations for why, but where the action starts (or never gets started) is me.

At this point I could argue, you can’t remove the constraint (if it’s me) because then ALL action may stop. Achieving my goals may be hindered by weaknesses but it will also come from my strengths.

So I’m not stepping out. I’m more like the chain link. If it’s the weak point (yet it’s needed) strengthening it will strengthen the whole.

So it’s my behaviour that’s critical. Change how I do things – and how I think about doing things – and more of the right stuff gets done. And that can be as simple as challenging whether I’m the right person to being doing everything. But it certainly requires a good check on what is the right stuff.
Which finally brings me back to why Rich & Co can help me. Race cars with top pit crews finish a whole lot faster than if the driver has to constantly stop and change his own tyres.

So how many constraints am I away from having the business and life of my dreams.

Why, one actually. Strengthen my behaviour with the ability to quickly recognise all other constraints as they arise and overcome them in the right order and success will be a certainty.

It has to be. The fruition of years of struggle towards a goal of a carefully structured business organisation that gives me recognition in my field, freedom to do things from choice not panicky necessity and can contribute millions of dollars towards building capacity in deserving people and communities are definitely benefits I look forward to.

But, at present my primary drive is to make amends for the wasted years and regain the trust and respect of my wife, my children and myself. And that, above all are three benefits worth fighting for.

  • Don

    1. Biggest Constraint: lack of focus
    2. 2 constraints away from success
    3. Benefits of conquering those constraints, (which I’ll eventually do with or without winning this contest :) but thanks for hosting it)
    A. Getting that feeling back of not being able to wait for tomorrow
    B. Getting thousands of people to lose weight without dieting and changing the collective body of the nation.
    C. Having the impact spread by osmosis to their CHILDREN to prevent and eliminate the crimminal and heinous practice of obesity surgery on kids.

    Hi Rich,

    1. My biggest constraint is #4 with a close #5

I seem to be am wasting a lot of time & try to do everything myself without seeing any tangible results(which isn’t all that surprising). It’s like I’m working on everything all at once & not completing one project…

and not knowing where to go or who to call(not friends with the “A list”) severely tampens what I can do & so I try to do my own research and continue to “do it all” on my own…

    2. It looks like I am at least three major constraints away from having the business and the life of my dreams…

    3. The three greatest benefits I’ll enjoy once those constraints are removed:

    a. being able to freely(time & money) go out & meet more people including my future wife, build a home & improve myself(make myself more interesting), not having to worry about what I can’t do… to enjoy life and to finally go to Disneyland(seriously)!

    b. buy my mom whatever she wants & have someone help in taking care of my younger sister(cannot walk, I or my mom help in preparing & giving her food, taking her to the bathroom, etc.).

    c. buy my best friend Todd Dudas a Cadillac Escalade(& other stuff). He’s been the sole encouraging person in my life so far & would like to show my appreciation in a very visible & tangible way – his dream car is the Cadillac Escalada.

d.(because it’s THAT important) tithe, support ministries & causes & giving where needed.

    Thanks for this opportunity Rich.
    God Bless,
    Yoon

My number one constraint is driving me to this page far too often to check the result – there has to be a system to help me control my impatience and achieve even better self-discipline … so much time spent here when I should be asleep 😉 PLEASE put us all out of our misery because the suspense is excrutiating.

  • http://www.giftswithdiscounts.com Rex

My biggest constraint is time. I am stretched six ways from Sunday with things that ‘just can’t wait.’ It seems like I am busy all the time but just not making headway. Additionally, I am going through a major change (voluntarily) in my life and am facing the loss of almost $90k income per year. Oh yeah, I found out that ‘old’ people (I’m 61) have a lot of trouble ‘qualifying’ for new positions. 😉
I enjoy working on the computer and really need to make this web business work. There is just SO much information out there and I seem to have so little time to spare.
What do you think Rich? How about a boost to someone that’ll really appreciate it?
    Thanks, appreciate your time.

  • http://bnerealestate.ewimultiplestreams.com/ Ron Bingham

    + + +

    Howdy Rich

I am just getting started in business investing in real estate and marketing on the internet. I believe my number one constraint is failure to focus on one single clear goal at a time. I feel pulled in several directions: business structure with respect to asset protection and tax strategies, doing real estate deals, internet marketing, and automation and/or outsourcing of routine tasks. Part of the problem is that I like to be in total control of everything and I like everything to be perfected before I go public. (This may stem from my background in music and acting where this is an asset.)

I don’t know how many constraints away I am from fulfilling my goals in business so that I can have the life I need and desire. I know some of them, but I realize that there are things that are hidden from me which others see, and some things that are hidden from everyone that God only knows. One thing I know for certain is that I can’t go it alone. I need to build a team around me and help them reach their goals so that I can reach mine.

Once the constraints are removed the first benefit I would expect is spiritual and mental freedom from the negative impact they were having on my life. Freedom from doubt, freedom from worry, and freedom from bondage to the underlying passions which were the cause of the constraints would allow me to succeed in business and all other endeavors in this life.

    I would also be able

  • Ron Bingham

(continued from above: my keyboard froze up and I had to reboot)

I would also be able to better support my loved ones: my family, my church, my friends, and my favorite charitable causes both financially and with my time and talents. I could feed the hungry, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless, and build monasteries and churches where there are none now to give spiritual food and drink to those who hunger and thirst for righteousness. I would be able to endow a charitable foundation to continue the work long after I am dead.

I would be free to live almost anywhere I wanted and do most anything I wanted and enjoy the company only of the people who bring joy into my life. Right now I feel chained to this small corner of the universe, to this desk and chair and keyboard, and I am going to find the path to spiritual and financial freedom one way or another, no matter what it takes.

  • Derek Goddard

    Hello Rich,
Thanks for a great opportunity like this. I nearly didn’t enter but, hey, I’ve done the lottery at far worse odds… hang on though I haven’t won that either!
    My Constraints:
1)Procrastination probably caused by fear of failure, see above!!!
Whilst trying to please too many other people at once and not focussing on what will work for me, and then of course my success would ultimately help all the others i want to help. Catch 22.

I don’t know what I don’t know, but I believe all constraints can be overcome by knowing your specific goals. You eat an elephant a bite at a time. How does a constraint taste? bl***y good when you overcome it I bet.

Finally the three greatest benefits for me would be
1)Freedom of choice enabling meto do Whatever I want, When I want, and How I want to.
    2) Freedom from Fear, enabling me to support my family, friends and causes with confidence born from…
    3) Financial Freedom.
Best wishes and luck to all contestants and thanks again Rick.

    Hi Rich,
Thanks so much for this blessed opportunity! I am happy for you and look forward to meeting you.

When I read Constraint #1, it hit me like a smack in the head. I so recognized myself in its descriptions. I also noticed that I began to play the blame game as to why I was afraid to make mistakes. But no, I am aware of my fear and my thoughts and decisions are all in my power. Some thoughts may take conscious awareness to change, but they are still my power, and no one elses. Nothing will stop me from fulfilling my purpose. It does, however, create delays as I learn how to deal with such fears and let them go. And work through fears I will. I will have it no other way. I choose to ride on the Hand of God and I’ve been through too much to want or allow for anything to stop me. (Financial) success is a process, like anything else in life. Yeah for all of God’s Graces in my life, good and bad.

The business of my dreams feels like it is 2 constraints away although they are both the same, really. I need to know how to develop my blog, and I need to simply do it and then I will build the business step by step and it will grow! And the constraint making it difficult for me to just “do it” is #1. My fear of making mistakes has held me back, but not anymore. I am tired of not “getting it done”. It will probably never be “done” because then how can we continually learn? It’s process will develop and it will become as I envision it as it’s issues/constraints are dealt with. There are constraints (such as #7) that I haven’t had to deal with yet because I’m just starting out. There will be constraints there because I haven’t had the experience yet to learn what I need to know. But all constraints will be dealt with and lessons shall be learned. Growth is good. Stagnation stinks.

The greatest benefits will be (a) being able to provide my family with whatever education is right for them so that they may grow as they need to and to help my husband retire, (b) being able to provide educational and healing scholarships to others in need, and (c) being able to experience an even greater awareness, strength, confidence and closeness with God and all of His children that will reach into the stuff of dreams.

Thanks again and I wish you blessings upon blessings.
    Irene

LOL It finally happend!!! The breakthrough I have been waiting for has struck me like a bolt of lightning.
(Be assured while I was waiting I was busy driving CRAZY traffic to my website, and creating TONS of incredible content to keep people coming back)

I will not divulge the breakthrough just yet, I want to moniter it a bit longer, but every indication so far is insanely positive.

Rich, if this does what I think it is doing, I owe you an incredible debt of gratitude. One that I will be repaying for sure.

Using some of the many things I have learned from you, I took my website to levels I did not think was possible in just 17 days!! That is from creation of the site to 600 hits a month with less than one third of it coming from advertising!! My blogs, videos, and podcasts are not even fully functioning yet and are just exploding, and my niche is going to be HUGE for a long time to come!!!

By the way I am also thankful to the scores of people from this very website for visiting and their support.

If there is ANYTHING I can EVER do for you TELL me what it is I will GLADLY make it happen.

Will there be bumps in the road? There always are, but I now know beyond a shadow of a doubt, I can smooth them over, and keep driving forward.

You have just become the second best Mentor I have ever had, only my father has had a more positive impact.

Hint: It was something you sent me from Mike Filsame that started the thunderstorm, I just tweaked it a little!! LOL

    Your Friend,
