So, there is art and science in everything we do. Who knew? Thanks for giving us gems in “real time.” I’m really looking forward to the next seven months.
Like the Wizard of Oz pulling back the curtain, Paul gently invited us to awaken from our ’self-induced trance’ and, essentially, step into our greatness. How to start? By paying attention to our patterns of language, playing at life in full-spectrum multi-sensory fashion, shaking our bodies alive and aligning in unity relationship with others. We might talk about Web 2.0 but if we are stuck at Human 1.0, our business development journey will be arduous… So grateful for the expanded focus of this amazing event. Thanks Rich & Team!
You have an obvious mastery of communication…cool
A similar comment was made in a product that I ordered from Learning Strategies, Paul Scheele. The one about pulling back the curtain and showing the great OZ. Is this someone at his company that perhaps wrote this? Just seemed like a coincidence.
direct saling campany of waiora product im with them now.
An interesting snippet. But I’m sitting here thinking, “How do I write sales copy/whatever and make every sentence end with a rising tone and a pause to get the ‘uhuh’”
This is a great bit. Just this morning I had a sales meeting where I emphasized to the staff the absolute necessity of them portraying to the buyer that they are there to solve their problems. Moreso, as the sales person that through their persona, which they have to convey over the phone, has to be one of the benevolent expert who is looking out for their best interest.
Thanks for sharing this information.
That raising the voice at the end of teh sentence bit was quite intersting. Never thought about that. I don’t do much selling over the phone but my phone contact have not been that stellar.
This is something I have to practice I guess.
Thanks!

Good Ol’ Ray can pick up a tip or two from Ben Mack too, that’s where he shines, at the end of each sentence!
Cheers
Hi Debby,
No, don’t work for Learning Strategies so, in fact, the Oz reference must be just an interesting ‘coincidence’. I have known of Paul over the last 18 years or so as a colleague in a similar field, though we never met personally as I was overseas. In this presentation at the conference, his message and the style in which he delivered it seemed to reveal great wisdom as to aspects of our true nature and how to liberate it. So, for me, the Oz image worked… now you got me wondering if that dog he referred to could have been Toto too?!
