Hi Rich,

Thanks for that post. Although I use leverage as a property investor I don't always use it in my business so this was a good reminder.

My question is the same as the one that Liz asked.

How do you go about approaching someone that you haven't even done business with?

We're launching a new course Money Magnets Successful Personal Finance (MMSPersonal Finance for short :-) ) and we're putting in a load of what we've learnt over the years.

However how do we get it out there in the internet world?

How do we use leverage?

Any ideas are welcome!

Thanks again for the post......

[...] I would encourage you to read the post and take a few minutes afterward assessing your current activities and how you may apply the concept of leverage to them to create exponentially greater gains.
Hi Rich,

I have been a fan of yours for a few months now and have saturated myself with your concepts and insights.
I have been trying to figure out how to get my fledgling business running on it's own for a year now and although I have seen some growth, it isn't the amount that I know is possible. My question to you is "How does one put together a program like yours?" Although i have an understanding of the underlying ideologies that make your programs and methods work, I do not currently have the skills needed to implement them (from a writing and condensation of ideas to implementation standpoint). Where could someone who desires to reach your status find the resources (writers, etc.) needed to put together such a plan?

Rich,

Great advice. I've already begun outsourcing small tasks and it has helped tremendously.

My next goal is finding ways to partner with high profile players in my market as you've said.

Can you tell me, how is this accomplished?

What is the best way to approach a player in your market and get them to co-create a product with you, let you use their name, etc.?

People are contacting them every single day. What can I do to stand out and get a yes?

For instance when you say you "convinced the biggest names in Texas Hold ‘Em to partner with you", how did you do that?

Rich,

Your use of the word "leverage" is very helpful, as is the phrase "doing the most with the least."

The three areas where I most need leverage are:

1. Financing: I need to figure out where to get start-up capital in a down-turning economy that is down-turning because of a credit mess.

2. Time: I need to figure out how to outsource some of my online business to India and come up with the money to do so.

3. JV: I need to obtain a JV partner, but I am thinking the best time to do that would be after finishing your Maven Matrix Home Study Course, so that I can bring maximum value to the person or persons I partner with. That probably means early in 2009.

     Keep up the good work!

:-| I say this in all good fun... haha... but what the heck did Tellman do to his hair? I hardly recognized him in that video compared to some of his older pics.
Maybe leveraging the services of a good barber might be in order? haha j/k Tellman. I've bought some of your stuff in the past, and your a real likeable guy... the hair and beard threw me for a loop at first.
