Whew..what an incredible 90 minutes.
I just got off the phone with Jay Abraham, and I feel like I just went 15 rounds with Tyson in his prime.
Take a listen and see for yourself here
See, Jay describes his interview style as "ruthlessly benevolent". And that's an understatement.
This is a guy who doesn't throw softballs. Every question comes at you with blazing speed and lots of curves. And this interview is no exception.
Because to put it bluntly, Jay is YOUR advocate here, not mine. He's not doing this to make me look good. He's doing this to help make your business a massive success.
So if you think this is a fluff piece, you're dead wrong.
If you missed it, check out the replay here.
Inside this ground-breaking call, you'll discover...
--How to maximize all the amazing opportunities that life affords you...
--How to find the most leverageable (and profitable) tools and mindsets in your industry...
--How to finally catapult past your constraints and get to the heart of the solution...
--How leverage is a lot like cholesterol (sounds weird, but this is mind-blowing analogy!)...
--Why you're settling for less than you can achieve--and how you can eliminate this constraint forever...
--The secret constraints both Jay and Rich have struggled with...and how they overcame them.
--Jay's "Indiana Jones School of Business" and how this metaphor can open up new worlds of opportunity for you...
--Why common sense doesn't equate to common practice in your business (so simple, but so immensely powerful)...
--Do you watch things happen, make things happen, or let things happen to you? Jay reveals the answer...and it might surprise you!
All this, plus much more. Go here to listen NOW.
Jay's insights on this call are brilliant.
He shows you how to turn a life of mediocrity into a life of making millions...
A life of no control into a life of total control...
And how to ultimately be liberated from the shackles of frustration and experience the freedom to move forward and become the success you've always dreamed you would be.
If that's what you REALLY want, then don't miss out on this chance to hear Jay hit me with tough, no-nonsense questions about my new GPS program.
I'll be in the bathroom treating my bruises...
To Higher Profits,
Rich
P.S. In this call, you'll finally get a sharp, clear view of my new GPS program, as I reveal the details of what's inside.
This isn't like any other coaching program you've ever been a part of--I guarantee it.
You're going to get unprecedented access to me and my resources, along with every tool you need to destroy the constraints that hold you in captivity.
We're talking in-depth, side-by-side personal interaction as we pick apart your business and transform it into a money-making machine that virtually runs itself and spews profits on command.
So don't miss out on this call--listen NOW!

Hi Rich,
I just found you, so I think I have some catching up to do! Your report is fantastic.
If you could be clear about what level/who your new course is for - eg - established internet marketers only, or will you be accepting those confused and currently paralyzed newbies?
What foundation must be in prior to maximize what you are teaching?
I was on the live call initially, but had to leave. Jay talked A LOT - but I really wanted to hear *you* - and to learn more about the specifics of your new program.
I do NOT print Ebooks, they take up paper and ink and just end up lost somewhere after they have been read. I read them and organize them on my computer in case of the unlikely event that I might someday want to read it again.
Not this time! I keep reading and reading this book, The Entrepreneurial Emergency. So, it is now printing as I write.
My conclusion so far is that I need a brain overhaul. LOL
The part about identifying and then changing or replacing the system causing the constraint seems to boggle my mind somehow. :-/
My personality is the type that finds what looks like a great thing to do and then learn how to do it and apply it. I don’t get much sleep until it is done either sometimes. This has worked well enough in the past so that I have a profitable website.
The problem now is, I never knew about all these online marketers and all the “things” that are supposed to help my business. All at once everyone is having “launches” and I am learning who Rich and all these guys are. I had never even heard of ANY of these guys until a few weeks ago when I started searching for a solution to get me out of this rut.
Now there are soooo many things that seem to need to be done I am completely overwhelmed. I don’t know where to begin and, for the first time in my business, I find myself just listening to all the expert webinars and reading Ebooks and not doing what I need to do to keep my customers happy. Not a good thing.
How does one balance working full time with your online shop and change everything you are doing and still have a family all at the same time?
Tracie, I don’t know if this helps… but everyone who has been in the market for a while knows a lot of the knowledge stems from this source right here.
Remember, Rich coached all these other gurus - that’s why there’s so much buzz about him doing another coaching program. Because the last time he did one he helped create all those gurus you are know getting offers from.
If there was any doubt whatsoever, Jay Abraham the godfather of marketing (a man who almost never gives a testimonial, let alone an endorsement like he did on this call) is telling everyone they need this course and that carries a lot of weight for a lot of us.
It would seem to me the bigger decision is figuring out how much you’re willing to pay to work with Rich now, before the program is launched. This way you don’t get boxed out if you decide it’s right for you.
Hi JP,
I am sort of in the same boat as Volanda, the person who posted before me.
I have a profitable online business, but know nothing about all this stuff Rich and everyone is talking about. I have concentrated 2 1/2 years on making a great content site with tons of drop shipped products for sale. (I actually have two websites, one has both content and products and the other just has a specific line of products only.)
The webhost I use has reports all the time on how to improve our sites and I will stay up night and day doing what they say, that is why Google finds me. Otherwise I am a computer idiot and know nothing at all.
So, like Volanda, I am wondering if I know enough to even be helped right now. I see that I need to write Ebooks to help my customers and bring in income that will allow me to pay people to do the stuff that gets in my way of true success. (I want to make a living and have a family life too.)
I printed out Rich’s book because I wanted to learn more and see if I have enough knowledge to even communicate with Rich. Right now he would have to talk to me like he would his mother and I doubt he wants to do that.
If I don’t take him up on this offer, I will sure follow him until I think he won’t mind helping me. The other constraint on this particular offer is that I am speaking at a conference that my webhost is giving in the middle of October, so I would not even be available during the entire next 30 days for any training. (Sigh)
Thanks for the “push” though. I have not totally given up on the idea, I am just trying to figure out if I need to have more “marketing” experience so I don’t waste everyone’s time.
Playing at this level will not be a waste of your time, rather it will force you to learn faster and you’ll get out of the ring that much better than if you waited until you felt ready!
Rich most likly will record everything and give you access to materials so you can go back and get it at night or when your sched permits.
I can empathize with you Tracie! I was overwhelmed at first too. But I can tell you that you discover what the real work is and what’s not. When you do, that frees up the time. I’m accomplishing far more now then I ever thought I did and still finding time for me and my family. It’s pretty awesome!
Oh, I just had a thought I would add for others, like me, that are trying to absorb all this material.
Pretend you are back in school. Print the book and highlight the things that you need to remember or that mean a lot to your situation.
Now, make an outline or a bullet list, or whatever method you might come up with, using the highlighted material so that you have the pertinent stuff on just a couple of pages.
Also, listen a couple of times to the recording of the phone call this morning and jot down the highlights or highlight the pdf of the phone call as you listen.
This is really helping me and I thought it might help others too.
Thanks Rich for putting up the transcript but I’ve got to tell you that Jay Abraham probably unintentionally lost you a few clients today. I had to get off the call and hang up because Jay kept interrupting you and breaking the train of thought. It was annoying and distracting. What an ego that guy has got! Next time, leave Jay at the office and just talk to us directly or get a more professional interviewer who doesn’t have to insert himself into EVERY question and answer. It will be more efficient and useful to the rest of us.
Thanks again for all you do.
Amen brother…I completely agree!! I listened to 30 minutes of Jay’s lathering of Rich without any coherent content before I couldn’t take it anymore and hung up. Jay took 10 minutes to make a 30 second introduction before we even heard Rich. Now there is a 90 minute recording that probably has about 30 minutes of actual content. It was a FREE teleseminar and I feel I paid way too much with my time!
I agree! Jay Abraham may be a marketing genius, but I cannot listen to him, he just goes on, and on, and on, and on, and on….. you get the idea!
I’m afraid I couldn’t listen past the first 20 minutes, and then had to turn the ‘JA Show’ off and switch to the transcript. At least there I could edit him out!
What an unappealing self-indulgent Jay Abraham ego has!
Rich, I don’t however want to miss a word you say though! Fancy editing Jay out and putting up just you speaking!
David
Dear Rich,
I am emailing you just after having read “The Entrepreneurial Emergency” and here are my frank reactions.
- I feel very frustrated,
- I feel very disappointed,
- I feel very angry,
- I feel very relieved and
- I feel very enlightened after reading all your guides.
Now I know those are a mixture of conflicting emotions, but let me explain why I felt that way.
Before I do that, I have to introduce myself to you. I am Vijay and like many other million Internet Marketers who have this wonderful dream of making money online and living a lifestyle of their choice, I started my journey in Internet Marketing last year. Now you might say, it is not long, but honestly I feel as if I have been in for decades.
In my very short stint with Internet Marketing, I have bought hundreds of products- e-books, video training tutorials, courses, home coaching programs, seminars etc. with the wild hope of making money. And I did all these, juggling with my day job that I hoped to quit in the future.
Now I won’t rant over how the products I bought were scams or gibberish, because most of the products offered good value.
But the real problem was I was caught in what I have coined as ‘Internet Marketing Crapmire.’
‘Internet Marketing Crapmire’ is a phenomenon in which we as Internet Marketers in the constant pursuit for an automated money making machine end up being immersed in a quagmire of crap.
Let me give you an example of what I am talking about…….
************************************************************************************
I am a newbie in Internet Marketing on the lookout for the next biggest product that will make me both rich and famous. So I join forums, read blogs, look at what other fellow Internet Marketers are saying, to eventually find a well respected IM Guru who is “genuinely interested” in making me rich.
Now you see, I am not so dumb, I am not convinced yet. But let me check out his free report. So I opt-in to his list and boom, I have a link for an instant download for his free report.
You know what? This guy has blown my mind on how easily I can make money. I mean where was I all these days? How can I not see all that was going around me?
Did you know, you can make thousands of dollars every month via Adsense? And what’s more this is so easy that even an 11 year old can do it. All you need to do is throw up a blog and put out some content and within weeks if not days, you will have Google sending you paychecks right to your doorstep.
Now this Genius Guru is so kind enough to reveal his killer tactic called “Google Arbitrage” where he shows how to hoodwink Google to extract money from them in his free report. Can you believe that? Honestly, How many Gurus would truly deliver such value to their customers? This is his way of telling me that he cares about me and wants me to succeed.
Now my genius brain starts thinking, ‘Now if he has delivered so much quality content in his free report, how much more valuable his actual product would be?’
And I go around to check the buzz and the entire Internet Community is raving about the latest free report of this Guru.
Now, I will be a real fool to miss out on this product with so much buzz and positive word of mouth from the IM Community.
So let me buy this product,
But hey hold on,
Now that I have decided to buy the product, wouldn’t it be nice to buy the product from the guy who offers the greatest bonuses?
Fantastic idea! So I join the lists of all the other IM Gurus to check out their cool bonuses.
Now there is a Guru X (remember he is different from the Genius Guru) who seems to be the clear winner in terms of offering bonuses,
Guru X is offering
- Adwords Crusher that will crush your competitor’s to pulp that they wouldn’t know what hit them- Value $99
- Blogger Dogger that will create automatic blog posts left, right and center that you will have hordes of traffic to your website- Beware of Server Crashes- Value $199
- Craigslist Master Blaster that will post ads on Craigslist with our affiliate links in it- Value $299
- Google Choker that will spill Google’s guts out that they would be begging to give you cash endlessly- Value Priceless
Wait a minute, there seems to be a one time offer that Guru X is offering.
Let me check out his video……..
‘My name is Guru X. Pay strict attention to what I say, because I choose my words carefully, and I never repeat myself.
I have told you my name. That’s the ‘who’ The where could most readily be described as a prison cell. But there is a difference between being stuck in a tiny cell and being in prison. And I am not in prison. The ‘what’ is easy. Recently, I planned and set in motion events to execute the perfect cash robbery. That’s also the ‘when.’ As for the ‘why’ beyond the obvious financial motivation, it’s exceedingly simple. Because I can……’
Wow, I think, this guy must be a genius.
The crux of the video is that Guru X has this “one time” offer of his product that would do wonders to my business and you know what I will not find this offer the next time, I visit his page and even if I do, there is no guarantee the price will be the same. In fact, the membership fee will be raised so high that we will be slapping my head, why I did not buy the product when it was so cheap before.
I end up buying his product when all I wanted to do was to grab his free bonus. Now I feel proud and happy that I made the right decision. And as soon as I download his e-book, I start reading it and wonder how brilliant this “Guru X” is.
First go to clickbank, look for the niche that has a good market- (remember we want buying customers), pick a product with the highest commission ( hey don’t forget to check the “gravity”), do keyword research to target long tailed keywords so that you can be ranked quickly in Google, register a domain name relevant to your niche for SEO purposes, and build a review site making sure the product with the highest commission is ranked first. Now all you need to do is write articles, build Squidoo lens (by the way don’t forget to bookmark your Squidoo lens because that brings traffic) and watch your sales go through the rooftop.
Wow awesome ideas- this IM Guru really knows what he is doing. Now I am all set to pick a niche to start dominating Google and before I go to clickbank.com, let me check my email- hey- I deserve a break after all,
There is a new mail in my inbox.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!
I just read an email from a guy who was broke, drunkard, drug addict and a total loser who became an overnight millionaire through his “secret underground tactics” that he can’t reveal to anyone because “Google” will be annoyed if they found out how he was tapping into their weaknesses.
Now he wants to be perfectly honest, because he cannot afford everybody in the market to find out about his “killer underground ninja tactics” so he is restricting his product to only 200 customers.
That’s right- just 200. After that I will never heard about this product ever again. And the fact is that he expects his product to sell out within minutes if not seconds of him opening his doors to the public.
OMG! How can we afford to miss out on this opportunity of a lifetime.
Let me find out more about this product and offer before I can work on what I learned from the product that I just brought.
But you know what; I am not such a fool after all. I am going to do research on whether this guy’s product is in fact worth it.
Wow- this guy must be the real deal indeed, he has a testimonial from Guru Tom, Guru Dick and Guru Harry who can vouch their life for this product because they have read it, implemented his strategies and skyrocketed their profits.
Let me do a Google search to confirm the same. Jeezzzzzzzzzz! there is such a buzz around this product that I must have been blind not to notice this one in the first place. Now before I start worrying about the cost of the product, let me get this straight, I know I just got a product, but you know what with this product I can easily make 10 times more. And now since I am getting this product, I want to make sure that I get the best value for it. Let me look at who is offering the best bonuses.
Guru Dick is offering his products more than $10,000 of value if I made a purchase through his link. See how clever I am? I am getting all this value for such a ridiculously low cost. I can’t help, but feel proud of how I am making most of this special gift that God has blessed me to find the best bang for my buck.
Wait a minute, Guru Dick is no push over, he has a software that can generate automatic content for any given niche that mankind can think about. Now this seems interesting because if this works I need not spend hours and hours of time trying to write articles.
Great! Let me take a look at the price.
Ouchhhhhhhhhhh! It is a 4000$ software and because it is of top quality it cannot be cheap. You know what only 100 copies are going to be sold so before my competition buys it, I need to get my hands on this software.
But how can I afford so much money?
Hmmm, let me develop a plan. I can cancel my Blockbuster account, how about cable television? and maybe I can sell a few items in my garage on ebay.
By the way, didn’t I see a great program online that teaches how to become a millionaire selling stuff on ebay?
Let me check that one out………………….
************************************************************************************
This is exactly what I mean by Internet Marketing Crapmire. What’s worse is that the IM community seems to have a distinct liking to this crapload.
Your report literally pointed every obstacle I was facing, every ounce of frustration that was growing inside me and every bit of anger that has prevailed over me so much so that you ruthlessly exposed my pain.
But I feel relieved, because you have done what no other IM Guru has done so far for me. And as I am writing this piece to you, I am very mad at them. So much so that I unsubscribed to nearly all the IM Guru’s mailing lists.
What makes me angry is the fact that most IM Gurus have been mentored by you. So they have immensely benefited from you, so much so that they have earned hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Now, why in the world, did any of these so called Gurus not email me about you (a few Gurus did, so I have decided to be on their mailing lists and I have bid farewell to others)? Were they afraid that once we read your materials that we will be enlightened and might never buy from them? You know what that has just happened, they have lost a customer for good and they will never have me back.
Never!
Maybe it is not a big deal because these guys can still find enough meat in the market. But the point is that they have conditioned all our minds to the way they want us to think. Shame on them! Really, because they have all conned us. My questions are very simple here.
-Why did these Gurus not talk about working less for more?
-Why did these Gurus not talk about the importance of quality of life, health and the freedom of a lifestyle of our choice?
-Why did these Gurus not talk about the constraints in the businesses that are holding back the Internet Marketers and business owners from spending quality time with family and friends?
-Why did they not talk about even a single tip that you have provided in all your free reports?
I think they all wanted to benefit from your coaching but did not want us to benefit from you as they probably feel that they will be put out of business.
I feel like the boy who was walking down the streets with his dog when a man passing by said ‘Nice goat’
The boy replies, ‘Goat? That’s my dog’
The man mocks at the boy and moves on before the boy meets another passerby who says
‘Nice Goat’
The buy replies, ‘Can’t you see? It’s a dog, not a goat’
And the boy moves on and the next person says, ‘Nice goat’ and this time the boy says, ‘Thanks’ totally convinced that he is wrong and what he has is indeed a goat and not a dog.
That’s how these IM Gurus have made me feel.
I feel cheated, disappointed and angry because in a way they robbed me of my life. I was made to believe in so many wrong things that your report has so accurately exposed the shortcomings of all these so called IM Guru’s strategies.
What they were teaching was how to make money and what you taught was how to build a business and how to think like a businessman.
Going back to your dating-marriage analogy, I feel the IM Gurus have coached me to find a girl to date. Now they weren’t interested in knowing what kind of girl I want, what my strengths are, what my weaknesses are etc. All that they were doing was to dump their strategies that might help me find a girl to date. But the chance of that relationship lasting long would be so weak because the underlying philosophies and assumptions were too bad to begin with. Your thinking was catering to my strengths, my belief system and my likes and dislikes that I could easily end up finding my life partner applying your strategies.
I only wish I found you earlier, and I sincerely hope and wish others find you as early as they can before they get caught and blown away in the Internet Marketing crapmire.
Kudos to you Rich
Thanks,
Vijay
Vijay - What an AMAZING analogy of internet marketing and all its many subtle and not-so-subtle nuances. Kudos! And thank you for your very deep, thought-provoking commentary…
And I agree with you about Mr. Schefren, I like and appreciate Rich, too! Wish he was my brother or husband or next-door neighbor, so I’d have him close by to pick his brain.
Donna
Wow Vijay!!!
If there was ever a brilliant summary of the “Internet Marketing crapmire” - your post is it.
You caught in writing, just about every emotion one feels on the roller coaster that is the “Internet Marketing crapmire”.
I normally never post, but your post compelled me too.
Good on you Vijay for putting it all so succinctly, and I wish you the best.
Tom
THANK YOU VIJAY!
I normally do not post blogs as most of the time others, notice I said others, usually say it all. You, however, have hit every single item on the head. I’m rather depressed that I’ve spent over $6k this year alone on everything that I was supposed to need to get my business going! Now I most likely won’t have enough $$ to get the one program/coaching that I truly need and would be the best one yet!
I am a very new newbie at this and dreamed of being able to stay home with the kids and have a home business as well. I have daughters that would be able to help and make extra $$ that they could use and then they could run the business and my husband and I would be off vacationing.
I received half of my goal. I was put on disability last year so I am at home with my kids and grandchildren, but am not totally disabled. When the dr. told me that he was putting me on disability, my first, very first thought, was woooo hoooo….I’m going to start my home based business!!! I told myself that within 6 months I wanted to start making money. I prayed and visualized me working at my computer. I set the ground work for the buiness as far as my fed tax id, state id, etc. I have a cpa waiting. I have much more that is needed and ready. Like you, I’ve drained the “home business account dry” b/c I fell for all of the others that I can’t even get a phone call returned. I have it all documented, but…..still no business.
I’m not losing hope, for without hope, we have nothing. I’m praying that somehow I’ll be able to may be afford it. If it’s going to cost what I think it’s worth, I’ll have to wait.
Thank you for taking the time to write just about everything I was going to post.
I printed “The Entrepreneurial Emergency” and absolutely love the
his bluntness and honesty as well as his thought and belief system. Our mind is the MOST powerful tool we have. My frustration level is that I have no one, absolutely no one that I can bounce ideas off of or just talk with that understands any of the internet marketing!
I just wish I had found Rich $6K ago! I would be updating my goal list!
Vijay - good analogy. I got to say that I can’t stand these manipulative “if you don’t buy now, you’ll never get this opportunity again” rubbish. If someone pulls that on me, I just hit unsubscribe, and ignore the rest of their products. And yes - it’s really hard to find which is the baby and which is the bathwater - because there really is a lot of wannabies out there. Unfortunately I’m the eternal cynic that takes a lot of persuading before I’m convinced.
All the best to truly successful business and offering good products and good value - without just cycling money around.
Cheers.
In response to Vijay,
Look for offers like this, btw I showed the client the exact product and promotion method before she decided.
I made this offer 2 weeks ago to get 1 new coaching client, she has now doubled her profits, and today we will discuss a method for multiplying it by 10X within the next 2 weeks.
[BEGIN POST]
8 days ago I wanted to show my brother how quick and easy it is to
test an idea for profitability (we were at a coffee shop talking).
I did an online promotion for an unmade product (that took 10 minutes).
The product sold for $56 yesterday (I did nothing in between).
Net profit $50
now I’m making the product (this takes 2 days) and then I’ll
promote it again.
I’m looking for someone that wants to continue selling this product
and learn how to build an online business with this as a
seed (you get all the profit). There are a variety of other
products and services that can be sold to the target group, from
$20 to $5,000, one time and continuity.
This offer is ideal for 2 types of people:
1) Someone that’s just starting out and willing to learn.
2) Someone that has some success, but doesn’t know how to build
their business.
Price: $47 per week
You get:
rights to the product while you are in coaching
summaries and reviews of supporting resources/products (stompernet, gladiator club, etc.)
a weekly call where we review your business and target goals for
the next week
If it continues to work as it is presently, then the net profit will
be greater than the cost of this package.
If I was reasonable (and had the time), I’d spend 4-10 weeks
building this and sell it for 10 times monthly net i.e.
$200 x 10 = $2,000
or
make it a case study and sell it for $97 per copy with a $970
seminar upsell.
or
make it a test case and sell it for $5 per week while people watch
real time as the business grows.
or
sell it as a system(in development) to one business owner already
doing something related to the product for $500 per month.
BTW these are all options for the one person that gets selected.
If you are interested and have questions, contact me with answers to these questions:
>How much time per week can you devote to building your business?
>What skills do you have?
[END POST]
Do not contact me, I have no available positions at this time, I just give this as an example of something that is honest and works
K!
Rich has done a great job over the last few years of putting his fingers on the underlying factors that prevent most online marketers from breaking through to be Enterprise owners and operators.
First, he outlined the issue of having a STRATEGY, not just for yourself, but so that you can leverage your model across others who can help you achieve your goals - partners, contractors, outsourcers and employees.
For many - this is still where they are stuck…where you have a profitable business that makes you a living, but you are still a one-man show which both caps your earning ability, stifles your business AND prevents you from enjoying free time or lower stress. Even with Rich’s help, this doesn’t happen overnight - it’s been a very big adjustment for me to go back and view my business strategically, develop a plan that an $8/hour employee could follow and get it right.
The constraints focus is now all about helping break through the walls that stand between us and making Million dollar decisions.
In effect - you need both of these to be in place to really put you in a place where all of the other IM training, tips and techniques can be put into perspective and be used to maximum efficiency.
It’s tough to know how to use this sort of information sometimes when we are fed a steady diet of quick-fix tactics, techniques and methods that are short-term - but what is really holding many entrepreneurs back are the bigger issues Rich talks about in his report and call.
Hope this helps put it in perspective.
Jeff
Hi rich
one business must;
1-actual
2- global
3-low profit
by these items, your business is growing

Hi Rich
Loved the call ! ! !
It definitely sounded like Jays’ call , LOL , but what you have come up with here Rich ( your GPS program ) is something that more people are begging for than they realize .
Too often I have seen the difference between those that seek answers from the “exterior” , compared to those that seek to improve from “within” .
BTW , the “within” wins every time ! … IN SPADES ! ! !
Question Rich …
Are you considering making a DVD home study from this program so that those who were not able to be one of the very lucky few to participate , can also benefit from your wisdom ?
BTW folks , buying the DVD set , should Rich ever release one , is NOT going to make the difference in your life . Taking ACTION … IMMEDIATE IMPLEMENTATION of what you learn will !
“Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude.”
- Zig Ziglar
Thanks again Rich !
SIncerely
Sandro
I am new to this site but i look forward to reading and updating myself as you have a lot of great info ,,thanks for sharing all this,, keep up the great work
Thanks for the report and the ebook Entrepreneurial Emergency. It reaffirms what I already knew but am reluctant to admit. I am my own worst enemy. Lots of reading and rereading to do. I tried to not print these two out but I kept getting highlighter on my computer screen (hard to get off) so these are two that get printed.
Thanks

Hey Rich ~ * …interesting to hear your take on the call. Another way of framing it . . . . .Jay gave the audience the rare experience of the mentor being mentored. A light zen pop quiz for you ~ . You were you - pure, fresh…..slightly stunned however, you remained in the conversation and stayed as present as possible. Hey, it’s all good, right ! Clearly, besides taking the mentoring stance which he did, he also honored who you are: your purpose, focus, intention and passion. …that was what one was left remembering most of all.
Thanks, Rich!
Jay Abraham is a legend, I knew him way before being in IM, the guy knows what he’s doing and if he says that about you, well….. he must be right!
Take care,
Fabiana Lara
Rich,
I haven’t even read your latest report yet, but I suspect I could have co-written it with you. I’ve got a serious question for you, but don’t know how to get it to you other than this.
I’m not one of those “IM” groupies and over the last 33 months, I turned a $6k investment into over a million dollars and a decent 6-figure income that continues to this day. At the top, I had 6 employees and about a $40k/mo nut. In December, I had a sweet dirt bike accident and while sitting in bed with 3 broken ribs and a new 4 piece collar bone, I did some soul searching. I realized that I was making more money than I ever expected, but that I was miserable with the direction that my business had gone and with all the compromises I made against my values and my time with myself and my family.
I made a huge commitment to turn the ship around and make my business so that it would fit into my life, instead of making my life fit into my business. I got rid of my fancy 3rd floor office space, all my employees, all the crazy overhead and I bought myself a super nice home and am starting all over from home and doing everything online. I already have 2 fantastic products, both internet products, but they are sold primarily to businesses. One of the products is an incredible online training system and the other is an online sales training program I developed. I’m thinking about investing in your coaching program and want to know if you think I could benefit from your program, even though I’m selling mostly to corporations. My current challenges are figuring out what systems to use and how to automate as much of the selling process as possible. We’ve always done everything manually and it’s time for a change. What say you? Will your program exceed my expectation?
Thanks so much,
Michael Chriswell
Wow, is all I can say. Your interview and the transcript and the value that you give away. If folks aren’t sitting at the edge of their seat and soaking up every single word…they are NOT ready to tackle their biz at the level you teach.
Me? Holy s$%$# I’m so ready to take my biz to the next level and the next and the next.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Holly Powell
Thank you,
I read the report “Entreprenurial Emergency”. I didn’t stop until I had read the whole thing. In the past week I have had 3 other IM Gurus offer to mentor me. I am just getting started and “Tight Budget” is an understatement. I have to love it when they want to mentor me for anywhere from $3,000 - $10,000. They say they want to give back. Then why not really help out the little person. The advice I was given was basically to get in more debt so they could maybe help me get out of debt. I guess I am going to take the slower route. I know that I will have an extremely successful on-line business. I have no doubts. Thank you for helping me to identify my biggest contstraint I am facing right now. It actually is not lack of money. It is wading thru all of the hype. I have been digging hard to find the nuggets of gold in all of the crap. Thank you for helping me to get my focus back on whats important and not what all of these “gurus” have been throwing at me. Rich I am sure that whatever you have to offer is going to be extremely valuable, but I am sorry at this time that I am not going to be able to take advantage. Thanks again for the report. Cora
Dear Rich,
I would just like to say a word to the people reading your reports that are ‘newbies’ and wondering if you are too advanced for them.
I started online two years ago and made the mistake of thinking I could learn it all on my own.
Two years later, I have learned A LOT. One of the most important things I’ve learned is - if I had it to do over - I would find the most successful mentor I could afford and follow his/her instructions TO THE LETTER.
The internet is a very expensive school (minefield) if you stumble around on your own. I wound up spending lotsa-more-moolah than I would have spent if I had gone with the most expensive coaching/mentoring program ever offered.
I’m finally smartening-up and looking to learn the ’smart and efficient way’ from the best.
JMHO,
Brennan
Rich,
Your did a great job. This stuff could be life changing for me if I can find a way to apply it.
If Jay was ruthlessly benevolent, I would not want to see him angry. You did a great job. Keep up the good work. If your GPS program is this good you should create a lot of millionaires with free time to make a real difference in the world.
Thanks,
Charles L. Evans
I forgot to mention that I also found Jay Abraham spoke as much or more on the call as you did, but, gosh, folks!
This was a chance to hear BOTH of them.
I’ll listen to calls with two great business minds sharing techniques anytime - and the call was FREE!
I feel bad for the people who hung up.
I am fairly new to Rich & his material and have already mentally profited from all the shifts made in my thinking. Next step will be to translate those shifts into my businesses. Thank you Rich!!!
As for feedback on today’s call with Jay, I unequivocally feel that the call was not enhanced at all with Jay’s participation. His self-described interview style as “ruthlessly benevolent” appeared “ruthlessly SELF-benevolent” and as Jay’s own advocate.
Rich, his experise and his presentation style is powerful and stands on it’s own. No intermediary needed.
Rich, next time, come alone! We attend because we want to hear what YOU have to say.
With gratitude for what you do,
Maria
Rich,
First I must state how absolutely impressive you were on your 26 hour broadcast on Ustream. Except for a 40 minute phone call and a quick visit to a friend’s broadcast, also on Ustream, I was with you the entire ride. And what a ride it was!
Watching you deftly answer question after question with the same earnestness and intensity from Hour One on through to Hour Twenty-six gave me a newfound respect and appreciation for you and your commitment to excellence in all that you strive to do.
Your mission to help other entrepreneurs break through the barriers that keep them from success is to be commended and honored, not just for the time and energy as well as heart and soul that you pour into your research, but also for the way you seek to make the knowledge you’ve gleaned understandable and digestible by distilling it down to its essence, until only the gold nuggets are visible for all to see.
My only wish was that your report had been sent out a few hours before your marathon began. It was impossible to pull myself away from your broadcast to read it, especially when, from where I was sitting, you appeared to be speaking directly to me!
But I’ve since read it, and now so many more things are much clearer related to what you were saying at the time.
One thing that was brilliantly illuminated during your 26-hour brain dump, though, was that all of my talents, knowledge, commitment, time and effort only add up to my POTENTIAL, which does not directly translate to success. In fact, your key message that you drove home again and again, was that what ultimately determines my success are the CONSTRAINTS I have, and how I handle them.
This realization has been almost transformative, as I reflect now on the number of times my work has been praised, often by Top Marketers, and yet I STILL have only experienced a small degree of success. The monetary gains are minor, and the “struggle” to stay afloat financially has been ongoing… for YEARS!
My first temptation when looking closely at my business was to simply label my biggest constraint as “ME!”
But your report helped me see that such a label was too vague, and would never enable me to resolve the issues that stood in the way of my success.
By the way, I wrote up an “entry” for your contest, and had hoped to share what constraints I identified after absorbing your wisdom, but didn’t see the update on the cutoff time until a few minutes after 10PM.
Ahhh… another constraint duly noted… “Constantly Behind the Curve.”
Regardless, I wanted to share my thoughts and praise for what you’ve accomplished already, as well as my best wishes for a tremendously successful launch tomorrow. You will be benefiting all who are able to get in your program.
Thanks for a FANTASTIC 26 hours, a report that ROCKS!, and for all that you do to create more Success Stories and more Shiny Happy People!
With Respect and High Regard,
Kathleen Donaghy
P.S. That film project we discussed in Boise last year is one I’d still like to see happen. After I do what’s necessary to remove my constraints and get my own business really rocking, I’ll give you a call.
Thanks for putting up the transcript of the interview — I decided to go for the transcript rather than audio mainly based on the comments above. I could glean the salient points rather than the other stuff.
You provide incredible information and support to us Rich… and I always take something away from your interviews and blog posts — and this interview motivated me to examine my constraints and let them go! Just get on with it and do it!!
Jeanne
Vijay, I think most of us can understand where you are coming from. It’s easy to get caught up in all of the hype. However, when it comes down to it - if you want REAL long-term success in business, you’ll need to find “something” that is “yours”.
The way I see it, there are 3 kinds of “gurus” in the world of IM:
1. Those that create businesses in a box. These are generally short-term strategies and hard for the average person to duplicate.
2. Those that provide tactical support, tools and training. The problem with these is if we get too caught up in the learning side and not doing, it can be detrimental. We can also end up spending more time working IN our business rather than ON our business. To succeed as entrepreneurs, working on our business has to be a priority.
3. Those that provide strategical support, tools and training. Rich definitely falls into this category and there really aren’t many people that do.
The first thing someone needs to do is to figure out what they really want to do from a business side. By this I mean determining at least a niche to focus on. There are a lot of ways to get started in that area - perhaps testing the water as an affiliate for existing products (that can help develop contacts etc which are useful for later) and/or doing licensing and private label deals. This can make it easy to roll out an actual product or service YOU develop on your own. Once you’ve decided on those basics, then figure out your strategy to develop. Then from there you can determine what are the best methods over the long term for you to build the business and pursue learning enough about those methods to outsource the actual work part. And yes, I believe Rich’s stuff can help you fill in the blanks on all of this. Even if you just digest the loads of free stuff he has made available, that is enough to get MOST people on the right track.
A couple of other tips I’ve learned after 2 decades in business - try and focus on areas that you are personally interested in. This helps you stay motivated during the start-up phase, can also make work more FUN for you and can help you spot opportunities. As you progress in building your business, to reach the next level, it’s often important to develop a vision for your business that is about something bigger than just you. That creation of a vision and a desire to see it materialize is often what makes the difference between making 4 figures a month and getting to the 5, 6 figure and beyond levels.
Agreed Sharon. I wasn’t blaming everything on the Gurus and I am more than willing to accept my responsibilities for being the way I am. Fortunately I am a relative newbie in IM and probably these frustrations and failures are a part of the learning curve. One good thing is that I failed fast and I hope to move forward with renewed vigor and optimism.
Hi Rich,
What little bit i heard you today was great
would like to have heard you lots more*
Back To Constraints,
i have so many but my worst one is Communication
i have lots of mix ups that bothers me more than anything
but this is a whole new bunch different than i listed last
time* this is just some more**
Focus,keeping Focused*
Taking Action,
Fear of really messing up*
Thank you for all you do*
Guys,
Both Jay and Rich are Legends. Just do a search on Google and you will know exactly who they are.
Legends are created not to be criticized, but to reflect upon and to learn from.
As to me, I received a huge value - both from the phone call and the transcript as well. We’ve seen the history in the making within the last couple of weeks of Rich’s new launch.
Rich is a hero, and he and his coaching program created more heroes than any other programme online.
I applaud you, Rich! Onward and upward!
God Bless you and your wonderful family.
All the best to you tomorrow - and always!
Val
Good morning Rich:
I’ve been attempting to build an e-commerce business for months now, have even signed up for private tutoring only to be disappointed by their non-responsiveness. I am in mire up to my knees - extraneous information coming at me from several sources, faster than I can open the emails. I’ve invested a small fortune in tuition (close to $25,000) and feel I’m getting no where. PLEASE answer this as honestly as you can. If I go with your course which sounds like the most comprehensive plan I’ve read so far, do you feel I could safely cancel these other “overpriced-non-productive” courses and ask for a return of my hard earned money? I want to channel my concentration in ONE area, not several, and what you have to offer looks like the one I need. Tellman and Shawn, whom you know well, rave about you and your brilliant mind, and since they are highly respected Internet gurus, I want to take their advice. Look forward to your reply -
Sincerely,
Cathie Spurrier
First of all, a big thanks to Viljau who managed to put words on exactly the same feelings and frustrations I have had the year!
Then over to Richs coaching program.
To participate and be able to benefit from it Iunderstand I need to be a person who are willing to learn, follow directions, be patient and prepared to do some work and invest some money.
I am such a person, but at the same time a newbie!
My question is: exactly what kind of skill do I need upfront to follow the course? Do I need to know HTML, set up a website, know how to upload a site, use an autoresponder etc etc
Thanks for any comments
Arne

Vijay, kudos to you for sharing. (have you been reading my mind?)
Unfortunately I missed the The Entrepreneurial Emergency reports and have tried to google a current links, they now all point to the GPS launch.
Could someone please advise where I could access this report, I have read the Business Manifesto and found it to be very informative. No doubt this new report is worth its weight in gold.
Thanks,
Laura,
If you go to our homepage (http://www.strategicprofits.com) and look on the right hand side, you’ll see where you can enter your name and email address for the report to be sent to you.

Hi Rich , I also have just found you .. thank god !
And after what seems like a life time of working so so hard and not getting where i wanted to be , sacrificing my priorities to achieve my goals and goals seeming to get further out of reach… i lost my passion for life .. you have re lit my flame .. I cant thank you enough ..
For such a long time i have been a single mom juggling everything including many businesses until finally i ended up bankrupt and burned out ..
After only knowing your work for just a short time , i feel i have a passion to live again and there is a light at the end at the tunnel .I would absolutley love to do your coarse and be coached by you personally ….
I hope that one day you will offer your opportunity again to do a live coaching program …I so want to work with you , but at his stage even the mthly payments are out of my reach…
But i know that once i start implementing your silver bullets from your report my life will get back on track and in the future i hope to work with you personally .. i just hope that you will be available then .
Again i want to thank you for the insight hope and the new awareness you have given me .. my once before , i can do and be anything attitude is back …and i am looking forward to a lifestyle with my family i have always wanted .
I know it will take a little time to re adjust from the old way but i am going to make it in the new way .
Many Thanks
Chontelle
Hi Rich
Thanks for posting this call recording on your blog.
I have just returned from a weeks holiday so I missed most of the launch publicity. I feared that I had missed this call when I always like to hear you and Jay talk.
Paul
I loved Jay Abraham
