I have to agree that Ron Paul should definitely be on the list. He's gotten more votes than Giuliani in every single state besides New Hampshire (1% below Giuliani) and Florida. He also happens to have 100,000+ people in Meetup groups trying to get his message heard. He has truly mastered internet marketing in a political sense. He's also raised 4.3 and 6+ million dollars on two different days, without his campaign ever being involved. That's like if an internet marketer was to get $6 million in PROFIT on a single day on a product he's been selling for a long time, without any advertising on his behalf.

Seriously Rich - What about Ron Paul? Why did you omit him? He's got far more character than any other candidate on either side... and you left him out? I don't want to call you Rich "Fox News" Schefren, but this definitely brought you a rinky-dink step closer.

I'd think you'd be more interested in Ron Paul than any other candidate running because of your status as the Guru's Guru dude. Ron Paul has the people helping him, and his online marketing is head and shoulders and a few more miles above and better than EVERY other candidate combined.

Ron Paul has far and away the most passionate group of "followers", he holds the record for the most donations (total dollar amount AND number of people who've donated - and amount donated in a single day), and I don't see you having your own Rich Schefren App on Facebook! I don't see a single article on your blog having close to the number of Diggs that articles on Ron Paul bring in. Don't take this as an attack, but just that I am completely astounded by the oversight in omitting Ron Paul from this. It's like you know practically everything, and now this? Dude, are feeling okay?

I really don't know how a true maven like you could have an oversight of such magnitude. Anyway, I do hope that you are feeling okay, that the extra weight hasn't affected you too much, and that you are doing something about it (just concerned because of the difference in your appearance over about a year).

And with the call issue tonight... I'm a little worried because the Internet would just NOT be the same without Rich Schefren. You've contributed a tremendous amount toward making people's lives a lot better, business a lot better, and it really seems like you care - a LOT.

A LOT more about us than yourself, that is. Make sure you stick around in that body, eh? Don't work yourself to death. I know you're as close to Superman as possible in many people's eyes, but bodies still need to be treated pretty well. Look at Jay. I used to work over 100 hours a week. Did it for nearly 3 years. I saw a picture of "me" and couldn't believe it - I looked like the fat walking dead. Then I started eating better, and cut my hours down to 70-80 hours a week. HUGE difference. I lost 36 pounds doing nothing else (I'm not selling anything, okay?). PLEASE step up and take care of yourself. Please? If you haven't already started?

Hi Rich,

Very interesting post. I went ahead and did the exercise and here is what I came up with:
Hillary Clinton	__Regal / Entitled___
Barack Obama	__Confident __
John Edwards	__Light Hearted___
John McCain	___Condicending__
Mitt Romney	____Fake___
Rudy Giuliani	____Mean_____
Mike Huckabee	____Aloof_____

If you cant tell I am going for Obama and I agree with your statement that people vote on personality above all.

Good stuff, I am now subscribed via RSS.

Hey Rich,

great to see you blog again. It's a great way to market your blog and create interesting posts by tying them in with news issues.

Also you get a lot of trackbacks from other blogs on the subject of the elections. Sometimes they can really drive a lot of traffic.

For those of you who want to learn marketing: study what Rich DOES!
