I knew when I wrote The Manifesto it would create a stir in the Internet Marketing world, but I never thought it would instantly genereate the tidal wave of responses it brought with it.
The discussions are heated and full of controversy in the popular marketing forums. Blogs I’ve never known about are disecting each and every page and slide. In the first 48 hours alone 12,962 marketers have read and downloaded their own copy of "The Manifesto".
In that same time our Alexa Ranking has skyrocketed to the 492nd most visitied website on the internet.
I’ve received many requests to use portions of the Manifesto on blogs, in articles, on websites, etc…
Here’s what people are saying all over the net:
"Rich Schefren has taken some of the concepts he has shared with the online gurus and put them in a special report called his Internet Business Manifesto.
This report is PURE gold. It is not a sales letter or some self serving puff piece. It will add to your bottom line just by reading it." - Armand Morin
"No one else I know in the Internet marketing world brings to the table the kind of thinking and real business analysis that Rich Schefren does." - Brad Fallon
"I could just cry tears of joy. Finally there’s someone out there to show me what I’ve been doing wrong. I’ve been an opportunity seeker and I didn’t even know it until now. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I wish I could get in on the training. But trust me, the manifesto has changed my life forever. I thank you, my family thanks you and God bless you. " - Cassandra
"I’ve generated over a million dollars this year from just one Internet business I have…so I’m pretty confident in what I’m doing…however…this report gave me a number of ideas I missed this year that could have doubled that and made me over two million." - Jim Fleck
"You are so smart and write so well that I am already hooked reading it, even as I am printing it out. And yes, it is damn good." - Bob Bly
"Like for example, his explanation of Opportunist vs. Entrepreneur is something I have always KNOWN, but could not quite put my finger on. When I read it the way he wrote it, the light bulb clicked on and I felt all the cockroaches in my brain scatter for cover. He simply explained it in such a way that related to me." - Mike Ambrosio
"And, it’s not only what Rich has said, but what Rich has left unsaid. There are many, many things out there that people would call common sense. Rich did not include all of them. Rather, he cut thru to the essential core, demonstrated how they fit together, has proof that his priniciples work in such representatives as Mike Filsaime. Consequently, the information is transformed, much as a diamond is transformed by a diamond cutter: to show it’s brilliance and sparkle." - Judy
Literally every minute copies of the Manifesto are being downloaded.
"More radical than Marx, yet less explosive than the unabomber, your manifesto is a masterpiece, Rich." - Gerald
"You must have been watching my download clicker. That was me, Mr. Opportunistic, looking for the "new deal" that would start bringing in the big $$’s. I’ve wasted time and money and now I clearly see how I have lost both. Starting tonight that will change thanks to you Rich. Tonight I’m cleaning off the desktop and whiteboard to get rid of distractions and make room to write my plan out where I can focus on it each day. Thanks a Million!" - Henry Griner
"A manifest with the meaning of life? have been on the Internet playing now for 3 years and have bought most of the teaching manuals/ courses around and yes by most of the names you mention in you report. This report puts everything in perspective, has cristalised concepts, in-short it’s given me a kick up the rear end and made me realise my online business is no different to my offline business, if after reading this manuscipt your business does not grow then you should call it a day and sell your time to some one!!" - Tony Henderson
"A few years ago I attended a seminar in Detroit where you spoke about the very same principles outlined in your internet manifesto. This was almost 2 and a half years ago, and since then I have taken your advice, implemented everything you said and have seen my business literally shoot to the stars! I travel when I want, go wherever I want when I choose, and have more time to spend on the joys of life than ever before! You blew me away with your speech at that seminar in Detroit and to this day there is MAGIC in your principled coaching. Thank You!" -Anthony Tomei
"Rich, this report pops the bubble on the myth that all the bizop seekers are really in business. No wonder all the next-big-thing-this-week type Internet Marketers don’t like your report. They’ve got to keep the lemmings confused." - Lowell
"No matter if you are new to Internet marketing, or you have been around a while, this report will really open your eyes. It opened mine! This is definitely a must read for anyone who is involved in Internet Marketing." - Dan
"I really appreciated your willingness to share and not waste my time. I have listened to so many teleseminars and read so much fuff, all promising me so much and delivering so little. I’m dying to know more." - John William Johnson
Stay tuned, because there’s a lot more coming….

Awesome report Rich!
Hi Rich,
Awesome report dude! that was very enlightning & powerful stuff. No wonder why your very successful. Thank you for sharing your information, keep up the great work.
Mike - New Zealand
I usually don’t post comments on blogs, but I have to say, your report was an eye-opener for me. I didn’t realize how much work I was doing until I saw that chart with all the stuff going on around me. Thanks for opening my eyes.
Best Wishes,
Paul
Good stuff! I hope you have room in your coaching program for one more! ;-)
Dude, this Manifesto is the best thing I’ve seen on the ‘net in years! I’ve been doing it all wrong all along!!!
thanks for the report. i;ve never seen anyone talk about this stuff before.
Rich,
I think there is a lot of good stuff in this report. It has taken me many years in business to learn these concepts on my own. I wish I had read this five years ago.
Thanks,
Andrew
This makes everything else, everybody else is teaching obsolete.
I’ve been waiting for SO long for you to release some sort of product with your information in it because it’s too important.
Your Power Points from the Carl Galletti Superconference were the best power points of everyones, hands down. Plus, they were the first compilation of your thinking I’d ever seen before. I’d only ever got a glimpse of your insights from your working with Jay.
To finally see something released by you is a god send.
The fact that you’re teaching a strategic mindset versus all this tactical bullshit is STELLAR.
This is what people REALLY need to hear. Thank god someone is starting to teach it.
This is so far from all the other gurus ’stuff’, and it’s so on the ball of where the REAL money is made…that it makes all these losers teaching tactical crap look like idiots.
Ya, I said it. But it’s true.
Thank you.
P.S. The report is kick ass.
In one big illuminating stroke, you have highlighted the root cause of entrepreneurial failings for thousands of online opportunity seekers.
Your methodical and powerful approach is simply alien hi-tech to right-brainers.
First, it took me three hours to read the report.
It took about 1/2 hour to read and
2 1/2 hours to think about what I just read.
Thanks for showing me I built my six figure business all wrong.
Well, I didn’t build a business. I built a job and you showed me what I did wrong.
I’ve got to re-read the manifesto again because I know there was some serious stuff I didn’t get the first time round.
I saw myself on just about every page of this report.
You haven’t been spying on me, have you? LOL.
I can’t believe you gave this away.
Harlan K. alerted me to the manifesto, and I’ve tried twice to get it, but I never get the confirmation eMail. Is it possible your A/R is down? It’s definitely not getting spam binned at my end.
Brillant report Rich .
Thank you for sharing this with the marketing community.
The manifesto is killer!
One of the best free stuff I’ve read in a long, long time.
Couldn’t put it down & also couldn’t sleep that night either.
Rich since you said your stuff is gonna be extremely expensive what is your next best recommendation regarding books or software to learn this stuff?
Thank You!
I’ve tried to get your report 3 times using 3 different email addresses. Nothing. Nadda. Zilch. Sure would like to see it.
hi Rich
I ‘ve had 4 gos at asking for the link to your manifesto..
help please..
thanks

I have been trying to download your report. I keep getting this error message:

Thank you all for the excellent feedback! I wanted to shock the marketing world with a report so valuable, it could not be ignored.
I read your report. I am an opportunity seeker. This report has changed the way I think about business.
Rich:
Your manifesto has nailed down the very reason why it has felt like, at times, I’ve been “spinning my wheels” on the net during the past three years!
I have been acting like an opportunist, not an entrepreneur.
And I should have known better!
I’m a business school university graduate, with more than 15 years small business experience - the brick n’ mortar type.
I also realize now something else - many of the so-called marketing gurus out there right now - are really opportunists, not entrepreneurs, in the true sense of the word.
Thank you again for sharing such priceless information, and opening my eyes and mind to a new way of thinking about how I approach my Internet business.
I hope I can afford your course. I know that it will be worth far more than you would ever charge.
God bless you and your family.
All the best from one entrepreneur to another!
I have not received the email yet after opting-in for the report. Please help with this problem.
Thanks.
Chesa
Rich, I’m working on client issues right now, and only had time to skim. I’ll definitely read the rest tonight.
Strategic thinking? Yes. Yes. And Yes. Systems thinking? Yes. And yet again, Yes.
I spent years dabbling online, and it’s only in getting to “yes” on those issues that’s allowed me to start creating success.
It’s unfortunate that too many people who really need this information will pass it by. But the brutal truth that their addiction to what I call “shiny object syndrome” is a huge factor in their lack of success. I know. I was there.
Thanks, Rich.
Rich,
Having heard you give the “manifesto” speech in person, I’m still thrilled to have a printed copy to refer to. You’re the only “marketing guru” I know that approaches the business from this perspective. I noticed you make the one of your images available to be used as desktop background. Personally, the image that I’d like to put on my desktop as a reminder is the organization chart where “YOU” is responsible for every part of the business! That’s the image that really burns into my brain!
i have requested the informatin three times and have not received it …

I am so glad to see you guys really absorbing this knowledge. It really will make a big difference in your business.
Stay tuned, I have some more killer content coming soon. Let us just say, about an hour and fourty minutes worth.
I have opted in for the information four times and still haven’t received the link for the report.
Amazing how simple you have made it, the most concise business plan I think I’ve ever read, you have me down to a tee!! But all that will change with the new “Process Map” I have just written out. Thanks for the information.
Mike
You must have been watching my download clicker. That was me, Mr. Opportunistic, looking for the “new deal” that would start bringing in the big $$’s. I’ve wasted time and money and now I clearly see how I have lost both. Starting tonight that will change thanks to you Rich. Tonight I’m cleaning off the desktop and whiteboard to get rid of distractions and make room to write my plan out where I can focus on it each day. Thanks a Million!
I only have one word to describe it! ”AWESOME”!
You have done a huge favor for a lot of new marketers too be.
Thank You!
Rich,
I have to say that reading the Manifesto was refreshing. Too many people who get on the Internet don’t think of it as actually running a business. “We” forget that the Internet should be just another strategy we use to reach our target market.
When building a business on the Internet, one should think of it and set it up as a real from-the-ground-up, brick-’n-mortar business. A lot of entrepreneurs don’t have the business background (administration or management) and don’t know how to find the resources to help them lay a firm foundation for growth.
Thank you for including Process Mapping! A simple tool, rarely used and when used rarely used effectively. Good process mapping is like the skeleton of your business. Thanks again for sharing a simple, yet very powerful tool. I’m looking forward to what’s coming up next!
Reading the Manifesto has really helped me to focus in on the project I’m working on and not get sidetracked into following “opportunities” that don’t support my vision. Thank you!
I don’t know how you managed to steal that copy of my org chart and use it in the manifesto…that was supposed to be TOP SECRET :)
Richard,
From the moment I heard you on Mike Filsaime’s Butterfly Marketing bonus CD, I knew you were going to change the way I approached my online business.
I’ve always been captivated by the CashFlow Quadrant presented by Robert Kiosayki and your Internet Business Manifesto really drive home how to create an online business that rests in the most powerful bottom left quadrant - Investor.
Thank you for sharing your expertise.
Jason Dolman
Well I read it, even made it all the way through only to realise at the very end that it’s nothing more than a very hyped (very well hyped I might add) sales pitch for an extremely expensive new teaching course.
Nothing new or really noteworthy in this “manifesto” at all.
Thanks though, I always enjoy a good sales pitch!
As a ‘newbie’ in Internet Marketing, I was posively surprised to experience that the most sensible and successful approach of ‘offline’ marketing is also the most successful style of marketing online. Thank you to bring this to everyones attention which in return will show up in much greater quality outcome with the individual online-marketing enterpreneur.
John
Hey Tex,
Since you downloaded the manifesto, should we all assume you made that mistake on purpose?
Obviously the tuition is not possible for every business at this moment in time. Get over it man.
Well, for me it was more positive. I re-learned a few obvious points made in the manifesto (doh moments) and I have to say thanks to Rich for hammering that home.
More radical than Marx, yet less explosive than the unabomber, your manifesto is a masterpiece, Rich. I’ll continue to refer to this and to the Smart Marketing seminar notes. Thanks.
I wanted to say that this was reminiscent of the few Wharton B-School courses I took as an undergrad engineering major. I’ve been starving for applicable business theory to this medium. Great stuff.
Hi Rich,
The manifesto posed many more questions than it answered. However, it was a… Great Sales Pitch!
What many of us need is a little more meat and less stodgy filler!
Thank you very much for the report. I’m building a new site and it will be online in the next two weeks under the domain philtradenet.com
While I just downloaded the manifesto, I pored over it briefly and I think it really would be big help for us who are just starting now to be Online Entrepreneur. Its a great source and I will use what I will learn from it. Thank you again.
There is one thing I like to share with you though and this is also the concern of many entrepreneurs like me. The problem on Payment Methods. Unless there will be some sort of universal method which will be carried by all the sites, the market will still be limited. Just like in Export/Import, the Universal Method of Payment acceptable to big and small countries is the Letter of Credit. In the Internet, I found out is still very restrictive and limiting. In the end I guess many lose a lot of clients. Like me I could have bought a lot of many good buys, unfortunately only a handful accepted my preferred method of payment - not all buyers agreed to giving their credit card numbers no matter how you make assurance that’s its safe. Paypal and Clickbank on the other hand is very choosy in the countries they cover. Imagine covering Thailand and not covering the Philippines which is even ahead of Thailand in terms of technology and at par in terms of Economic Development. We’re now now the top three in BPO destination country in the World. Their officers should come to the Philippines to see that we even have more Skyscrappers than Singapore and Hongkong combined. We are an 80 Million market and counting, Singapore has 3 Million.
I’m taking this chance to air my disappointment because I see that you are respected and known personality in the Internet Business maybe you may include this fact, the Internet Business is losing millions of dollars and customers because the method of payment acceptable to all is not Universal. Unless this is solve, the market will be limited to the most developed countries like USA, UK etc. Or in our case in the Philippines, we will have to localize our payment methods and that is exactly what is happening here.
Thanks and regards,
Manny
Thanks Schefren. I was able to download the report and read it. What a Report!!! And to get it for free!! I had stopped downloading free reports because of the awful stuff they pass on. When Armand Morin said “This report is PURE gold” I felt I must read it. Wow!! What an eye-opener!! I read it once on the screen. I am going to print it out and read it 20 times more. The part that has the most impact on me is “Do You Know What An Hour Of Your Time Is Worth?” and “Leverage & Scalability”. Thanks for the super content. The idea of giving good content for free to establish a contact has just taken a giant step in evolution.
Less radical than Marx, yet more explosive than the unabomber, this manifesto is “the truth” - a masterpiece. I’ll continue to refer to this and to the Smart Marketing seminar notes. Thanks.
A wonderful report. Useful, eyes-opening and full of constructive information. I’ll definitely recommend it to my colleagues.
Good luck!
I really liked your report and has forwarded the link to many of my friends. But still it does not contain concrete step-by-step information on making money.
I have a website that is not making any money. I have gone broke buying various traffic increasinf programs. It is Workat Hoem site. Can anyone suggest what is wrong with this site and how can I attract more genuine visitors to it.
My thinking has change a lot now by reading the pdf file.
I spend so much time wasteed on surfing and reading emails etc.
Since you said that your course would be a lot to pay. I think you should make a home made course for us with dvds step by step.
My mind is thinking a bit outside the box.. Thank You for the free pdf.
This manifesto is about me. Truth hurts. Am I able to change anything in my life?
But you know, when you hear about all these successful milliondollarhomepages you seek for those opprotunities. Don’t blame us for seeking of simple solutions since they exist.
I think that this is very commendable It’s not very often someone is willing to help another person without a monatary profit in it.I believe the good Lord is smiling at Rich Schefren and saying ataboy Rich 1 one for our side Thank You and May God Bless You and Your Family. L L Royer & Family
Cant wait to see what is going to be REALLY revealled….I learned some valuable tips just from the pre-sell letter so what is going to be contained in the real thing must be good….Looking forward to reading the next step…
Been there, done that and bought all the t-shirts. I wish someone had told me to BUY NOTHING!! STOP THE DREAMSTEALERS NOW! Instead learn everything about the internet for FREE, think strategically and then implement YOUR ideas. I had come to this realisation after 6 wasted months and lots of wasted money. I applaud you for TELLING THE TRUTH. However, Rich, how about taking an internet failure, who has wasted all of her money and making her your next success story!
Totally Awesome Manafesto! Thank You!
Hi,Just wanted to say that as someone new to Internet Marketing, I found the report so very valuable. I’m an easy touch when it comes to seeking the latest ‘fast fix - no effort’ tools and I can now see how I have been on the wrong track. I thought I would just print only the useful pages from your report to save paper, but as I read through it, I needed to print nearly every page! The ‘Productive Time’ and ‘Process Maps’ sections were especially helpful and my view & use of time have now changed drastically! Thank you. Pete http://www.WebHostingMentor.com
Rich,
Thanks for the free report. I learned that some of my thinking was right on, but I also learned things not to do. My website is not online as of yet but will be soon. This is the first website I have built and have so much to learn. Your report will help me immensely. Thanks so much !!!
A manifest with the meaning of life? have been on the Internet playing now for 3 years and have bought most of the teaching manuals/ courses around and yes by most of the names you mention in you report. This report puts everything in perspective, has cristalised concepts, in-short it’s given me a kick up the rear end and made me realise my online business is no different to my offline business, if after reading this manuscipt your business does not grow then you should call it a day and sell your time to some one!! only one more thing to say
Thank you Mike for letting me get this manuscipt, and thank you Pete for publishing such an inspiring ebook/manuscipt
I just read all 33 pages of this manifesto. I thought it would be sound advice or how to’s. Instead, it is like the old seinfeld show. Alot about nothing and very non specific. A great “suck em in” advertising ploy and yet nothing being advertisd y e t, but im sure its coming..
You asked for an opinion and now you’ve got it….
Michael
Rich, I KNEW that I wasn’t JUST foolin’ around working at home on my businesses part-time…The graphic organizers in your Internet Business Manifesto outlined the efforts of the Internet Marketer clearly. The graphics were masterfully detailed and organized!
It’s a abundantly clear to me as well that I really need your coaching!
I look forward to your further insights in The
11 Week Business Building Intensive…my honorary Coach! Thanks for sharing…Let’s make it official come July 10th!
If this is not sound advice then I don’t know what is!
It is also a reality check.
There’s loads of rubbish, free advice knocking about these days, but very rarely quality information like this. I’m quite a successful marketer and this is the best free article I have read in a long time. Not only that, it’s advice you can implement into your business (online or offline) right now.
Thanks Rich.
Peter Tremayne
Rich, your Manifesto says it all. Not only have I been caught in many of the same traps as you outlined in your book, but now I am having to deal with the same mindset in others.
I manage a very large group of satellite affiliates for several retailers and they all get caught up in the “busy work” and end up jumping from one opportunity to the next. It seems that they’re going through the same non-productive work I went through until I got my head screwed on tight and “buckled down” and concentrated on my business.
I was wondering if I could use some of your content, and examples, in my next article to my affiliate group?
Sincerely,
Ernest O’Dell
Blanco, TX
Power Satellite Affiliate
P.S. This is not a “pitch”. I really need to hear back from you and do want to recommend your book to my group. So many of your principles can be applied to satellite TV affiliate marketing and I would like to use some of your ideas in my next article to them. Thanks, Ernest
Never in my life have I wanted to slap the living crap out of anyone before. However your manifesto succeeded in bringing me to that state! Reading the truth about ones self is embarrassing and humiliating at the very least! Thank you for faciliating a change in my life and pulling me from the quagmire of all the B/S products I’ve purchased and done nothing with. A breath of fresh air has engulfed me, now all I have to do is inhale!
I can understand why internet “gurus” that prey on “get rich quick” lemmings, want this document blocked.
In my opinion, the most important sections are “Playing “Simon Says” Is Not A Business Strategy” and “Do You Know What An Hour Of Your Time Is Worth?”. Read them, then read them again! It ALL boils down to those sections!
1. Is your unique proposition/product also PERSISTANT (cannot easily be duplicated)?
2. Manage your business (because that’s what you’ve got) efficiently.
This is the best, no cost, business efficiency document that I have ever read (and I’ve read them all). The content can easily be applied to both bricks ‘n mortar and internet business.
Is Rich Schefren thinking outside the box? No!
Now There IS No Box!
Yer a good man Rich Schefren.
Rich, Thanks for the great information! After coming out of an upper management position in a Fortune 500 company, I should have known better with my own online business. Your process maps brought back memories and it was like a light bulb for me. I realized I have most of the knowledge I already need and just need to plan and strategize. Thanks again!
Hi Rich, you were obviously named that for a reason.
You are rich in desire.
You are rich in knowledge.
You are rich in action.
You are rich in logic.
You are rich in sharing.
You are rich in wealth.
You are rich in friendship.
Would things have been the same had you been called Scrooge? Lol.
Very interesting reading your manifesto, I related to more of your words and I’ve been telling myself these things for along time. “Get off this dream cloud, get focused, design an action plan, get into action and build a business.” — “Wealth will not show up with Information Overload. There’s no point in having every book and programme unless you’re the world’s fastest reader and can work through the night on constructive work or farm it out.”
I’m just climbing unto the first rung of the ladder, a bit closer now, having read your words or wisdom. Thank you.
Having read some other replies above, it amazes me how much variety there is from one reply to another. Some scorn you for using the manifesto as a sales pitch, others say thanks for enlightening them and some want to be on your course. Some you win, some you lose.
Dear Rich,
A few years ago I attended a seminar in Detroit where you spoke about the very same principles outlined in your internet manifesto. Thank You!
-Anthony Tomei
Hi Rich,
You have just shown me (and everyone who has read the Manifesto) how to get off the treadmill.
I make a great living online now, but it will now multiply to the level that I really desire if I simply follow your Productive Hours Chart, not to mention the other great concepts you provide.
Thanks,
Rod
Impress by the content. Esp for a free report. Thank you. I am going share this with my my subscribers.
I will definately be changing the way I think about my business. I am a relative newbie to the internet marketing world and it is great to have the opportunity to do it right the first time. Thanks so much for sharing your experience!!
Pam
I just finished reading your manifesto and really appreciated the slides, charts and your no-nonsense approach.
I spent many years in corporate America before venturing out on my own, but never really learned the things you talk about.
Now, I am even more excited about what that will mean for the future of my business.
Thank you!
Patty Gale
HI Rich,
Must admit, the first time I heard of you was with an interview with Mike Filsaime on the bonuses to his course…
That got me ticking.. This report you offer for free is amazing and is packed with content that is right there ready to make a difference for those who put it in place..
I will come back to you when I can afford your coaching :)
Thanks for the inspiration.. the chart is on my wall! The work has already begun… I will be telling others (already have) to come read this!
regards
Martin Salter
Rich, this report pops the bubble on the myth that all the bizop seekers are really in business. No wonder all the next-big-thing-this-week type Internet Marketers don’t like your report. They’ve got to keep the lemmings confused.
I could just cry tears of joy.
Coming from a network marketing background I always wonder why people jump from one best opportunity to the next - wondering why they are not making money. Just the same on the internet. Another way to trick the searchengines, another shortsighted way to use affiliate systems. Instead of building something that will last for years. And if it comes tumbling down (because of external factors)to at least have systems to be able to start fast in a new niche.
Markus from Germany
You manifesto is awesome! Confirmed with myself exactly what I need to do with my business and helped show me how I can start the process…
Also I think you hit the nail on the head in the beginning for what people are missing…nothing beats anything like finally realizing that opportunistic is not the way to become wealthy :)
Keith
Very interesting report, a wake up call for me and other. I’m a marketing director of a publishing company this report is gold.

I loved you article. I am one of those who jump from one thing to another hoping to hit it right. My problem is to find a niche.
The first time I heard you on the Butterfly marketing bonus call, the lights went on! I knew there was alot to learn in Internet Marketing, but didn’t realize how deep (and how daunting!) the tasks were till I saw your mind map on the cover! Yikes! So that’s why I’m overwhelmed and frustrated! I look forward to more guidance and more focused action on my part!
Thanks!
No matter if you are new to Internet Marketing, or you have been around a while, this is the most important information you will ever read. Ever!

Hi Richard,
Thanks for sending out your report it certainly made a lot of sense to me.
Is it Ok to use parts of this report and what would you like me to insert in the way of recognition to you and a link back to your report.
thanks
Gavin
No matter if you are new to Internet marketing, or you have been around a while, this report will really open your eyes. It opened mine! This is definitely a must read for anyone who is involved in Internet Marketing.
Thanks, Dan
Rick, I particulary like the distinction between an opportunist and an entrepeneur. It will really help me to identify and cut out the opportunist behaviour.
Being someone just starting an internet business, this report made me feel like I should just give up now because I didn’t go to college or get a masters degree in “business” like Rich apparently did. It’s easy to think “what’s the use” when Rich mentions that the “little guys” will get rolled over by the “big guys” anyway (pages 5-6). Makes me think that I “have” to become a big, steamroller-type business in order to survive. I do thank you for the “business” advice though but will wait to convert to a “Schefren” lemming until I read more in the following weeks.
Sincerely,
Teresa
After reading your manifesto I’ve discovered that I’m half way between an opportunist and an entrepreneur, though I prefer to think I’m more entrepreneur. Your words are right on! I’ll definitely read this again and again because even though I knew most of it, I have a tendency to backslide. It’s nice to know that overall I’m on the right track and with a few adjustments (mentioned in your report) I can make a very big impact on my future income.
You’re leaving us with a wonderful gift. Thank you very much for this free report! I hope everyone reads it.
Rich,
I’m relatively new with internet marketing, but received my BS in Business Management. You are absolutely right about majority of internet marketers are opportunity seekers because it is an easy sale to people. Yes, that is why some people may be upset with this manifesto, but people have made a lot of money as opportunity seekers. If they had the mentality as an entrepreneur, most top level marketers would have saved a lot of time and money on their way to the top. Now, there are a lot of newbies like me want to cut to the chase and make money as fast as possible. Rich, we need leaders like you to step up to the plate and let it be known the truth about internet marketing. Yes, I have been doing the same thing for the past 2 months purchasing a business in a box and other affiliate programs. I’m learning as I go, but I wish there was one business plan to follow because everybody wants you to upgrade, but I wonder if it is really necessary! Leaders need to let newbies know the truth and give them the programs that work best period!! Maybe some leader will come up with a step by step plan and sell it to us newbies. I’m willing to spend money to make money, but do it wisely!! I’m very coachable and trainable and want to be an entrepreneur not an opportunity seeker!! Thanks Rich and good luck in your future endeavor.

Rick: Your manifesto was eye-opening, to say the least. I immediately recognized that I had become an opportunist because of my desperate financial situation. And though it is currently impossible for me to afford outsourcing, I will be paying closer attention to making my time more productive. This article has made me more optimistic about the future.
ok, it’s a second comment - this is interesting to watch. Two people read the same information. They comment on it. It makes one want to give up, and the other one more optimistic. The information hasn’t changed, so that’s not the difference…. If you read them, the comments are an education in themselves on what “success” is built on.
I really appreciated your willingness to share and not waste my time. I have listened to so many teleseminars and read so much fuff, all promising me so much and delivering so little.
i’m dying to know more. Be happy to hear what’s required to go to the next level. I’m taking my mom on a cruise on the 11th of july…thanks to my success online, i get to travel a lot nowadays!
To Gregg Burton,
Please accept my second post. I sincerely apologize for not making the words and intention of my first post clear. In my first post, I didn’t intend to give the impression that I would actually give up because of a report I received via e-mail. It was the overall tone of the report I meant to comment on.
The report gives the impression that if a business person isn’t doing everything the report says to do, (which, ultimately, entails becoming Rich’s lemming and taking his courses–if you’re reading between the lines), their business is doomed in one way or another.
All in all, I believe TEX hit the nail on the head. It’s just d___ good marketing–so keep your printed copy and learn all you can from it by analyzing its delivery method, construction, copywriting style/format, etc.! With all the posts so far, it is obvious the report is working its hypnotic magic by creating a large feeding frenzy, which is what outstanding copywriting directed towards a focused niche market always does. As TEX said earlier…”Nothing new” here, just good salesmanship.
Please excuse any misunderstanding my first post conveyed.
Sincerely,
Teresa
On two separate attempts when I tried to open manifesto.pdf (ASdobe 7.0.8) I got: “There were some errorsopening the document. The file is damaged andcould not be repaired”
Rich,
WOW! I can say it backwards, WOW!
I am not in Internet Marketing. I make my money with HYIP(High Yield Investment Program) and choose not to market. But I found a non-HYIP program I believe everyone should invest in especially the little guy.
I don’t want to become an I M but I do want to Market this program and it is on the internet.
For months I have been shooting from the hip type marketing with not many hits. Not even my friend Tom Beal, “The Sales Champion” could teach me or I just didn’t get it.
I’m not the sharpest pencil in the box but after taking 15 minutes to read your manafesto the pencil just sharpened and it felt great!
Now I will take what I have learned an apply it.
I will come back here to give my report.
Thanks Rich,
Make Your Day GREAT!
globalplayer
Brilliant! Really Brilliant!
Hmmm, this sounds good and a way to rebuild stinking thinking. I am learning and wanting to apply what I learn quickly
Hi Rich
Thank you for releasing the report, those who take the the time to read it thoroughly will soon realise the value of the content you have made available at no cost..
It’s been interesting reading the other comments here. You are a businessman and a very skilled marketer. Sales letter or not, your report provides valuable information, as well as a sales strategy we can all learn from.
I also know that you do have a genuine interest in assisting others to achieve their potential.
You were one of the coaches I was fortunate enough to work with, after making the decision to take a marketing course with some other very high profile coaches. I mention this because although the course was very costly, you were the only coach who made the time to give one on one advice and direction to an Internet newcomer (me). Thank you, your advice changed the way I approached business both online and offline, to the benefit of my business and the clients I service.
Sincerely
Margarete
Yes - everyone should go out and get this report, especially if they have not previously been exposed to systemetization, process or business strategy material.
But my gosh, I am surprised at how many people are seeing this material for the first time - hasn’t anyone read the E-Myth by Gerber?
I’m not trying to say that applying systemetization to your business is easy - just that I’m shocked at how many people seem to be seeing it for the first time.
Look forward to your coaching program.
Jeff
Thank you very much for your generosity of sharig this wonderful report. It really goes down to earth, to the basics and puts you straight forward in the right track. In the last few months I have been thinking about ways to automate my business, but I have not yet found the way to do so. Your report is guiding me through to The Answer. Muchas gracias, Lucía Gayón, Ixtapa, Mexico
I am going to get business cards printed up now! Thanks, Rose
Finally, someone put it all in writing so we can stop thinking about it and wasting time and start doing what we should be doing. Thanks for sharing the report.
Hi Rich,
The report was awesome! Finally, something with real teeth that rings true. You really helped me come to terms with what I’ve been burrying deep down.
Treating this as a business and using business fundamentals is rarely if ever preached out here in the wild online marketing scene.
This should really open alot of eyes and steer people in the right direction. If there was a Hall of Fame for online reports, this one would be inducted by a unanimous vote!
What do I have to do to be selected as your next coaching student?
cheers,
Dave
I’ve opted in a couple more times today and still haven’t received an email with the link. Help!
Great report Rich. I just sent an Email blast off to my list of would-be Internet Marketers telling them to download it!! I think this is must read for anyone in the Internet Marketing arena.
I feel like I found a kindrid spirit…I just showed my wife the process maps and she said “Oh, you should call him up!”
Now that I’ve skimmed through it all, I think I’ll take another pass and take time to savour it.
Thank you for putting this out there.
Rich your Internet Business Manifesto will change the way Internet Marketers get things done. More great products and services will come out as a result of Internet Marketers putting your Internet Business Manifesto into action. Great job!
How can I get an affiliate link for your Internet Business Manifesto?
Thank you,

Wow, I’ve just been shaken to the core. What a wake up call this is… Cheers
You’ve just given the marketing world the massive enema it’s needed for a long time!
Your stuff goes beyond “online marketing”. It’s terrific. Thanks for taking the time and energy to put this together and get it out there.

It boils down to commonsense, whether you are online or offline. A very glib statement there, but I am testament to not heeding it and bouncing from one hot opportunity or eBook/Course to the next without finding my niche at the end of it.
To those that have found their niche, then the info in the “manifesto” should point them in the right direction to building a business.
Brilliance! Sheer brilliance! Rich cuts through the wasted time activities and gets straight to the heart of success in internet marketing!
If you are new, or old, or in-between, in your experience level of internet marketing, then you need to read this manifesto, but more importantly, after you read it–
Put It Into Action!
I just downlaoded your manifesto….I shall go through leisurely and disgest and reply …soon
i genuinly intend to rely you, …
I am grateful to your efforts and your desire and practice for a change for such a great cause .
if I fail to reply …and comment …please twist my ears !
Also , I am worried …i could not put in your site name in the add list …when I was sad…
and soon opend the inbox , your manifeto was there
I am sure youe are adding strength

Rich,
Your information had some good content in it. You definitely caused me to think “outside the box” a bit. I will have to read it again later today to digest some of the info you shared. I hope to implement your strategies into my business.
BTW, can you send some traffic to my site? I’m trying to see if I can really become “The 2nd Coolest Guy On The Planet” if someone google’s the words” Who is the coolest guy on the planet?” Just a little strategy I’m working on.
Thanks again Rich!
Max http://www.the2ndcoolestguyontheplanet.com
Wow, just wow. The only question I have is: how do we really get there? I guess that is to be seen later on. I was wondering why nothing was really working all that well while selling online. You see so many opportunities these days and you wonder if any of them are even worth reading the sales pages, much less buying them.
I assume the report, which is very eye-opening, is only the teaser to the presumably much larger program you have in store for all who will listen. All I can say is: we are ready for this.
WOW!!! That was report was an awesome example of “Back-door” marketing, give a couple of nuggets of truth - (i.e., strategic instead of opportunistic) - that every opportunity-seeker on all the lists this report was presented to can relate with (THEIR PAIN) then give them the solution (THE NEXT BIG THING-YOUR COACHING-WHICH WILL BRING ALL THE RICHES THEY DESIRE). How do I know this… all they guys you helped become mega-millionaires (Jeff Paul, Jim Fleck, Alex Mandosian, Mike Filsmae, Jay Abraham, John Carlton, Yanik Silver email me the NEXT BIG THING about 5x a WEEK!!!! Yah, you’ve taught them to be strategic - go after all the get-rich-quick wannabees with whatever new internet gimmick people are willing to pay a few pennies for - Adsense - Ebay - affiliates. They (and you, cuz you’re their coach right?) strategically (cuz they have huge resources) create the next “life-changing” “money-sucking” income opportunity to sell to the same Opportunity Seekers who got your and your affiliates emails to download the “INTERNET MANIFESTO” who’s main and ultimate purpose is for you to MANIFEST the opportunity-seekers Moolah into your bank account!!! You should sleep well tonite knowing that you’ve shared the LAST thing EVERY broke, busted, down-trodden, mom/dad needs to know to give their kids a financially secure life. NOW you’ve given them HOPE, if they’ll only give you their last dime, you can sleep even better, and their lives… even more frustrated and hopeless…. BUT, one of your friends (Jeff, Jay, Jim, Alex, Yankik) will come along in few days… to give them HOPE again… then DESPAIR, BUT, one of your friends will come along a few days later to give them HOPE again… then DESPAIR, BUT……… and so on and so on and so on…..
I take my hat off to you and this report. I now have to go away now and re-think my whole business strategy and focus my efforts on an entirely different market.
Iain
Great report. I loved the approach you took at outlining in flow charts what most people allow to stay nebulous.
A very good report. I will definately be reading it over again and implementing some, if not all of your stratergies. Many thanks.
You know, Beau and Tex are right to some extent: this Manifesto and associated marketing represents EXCEPTIONAL marketing to the Internet opportunity market, and is worth studying by itself (this same launch model has been repeated over and over and over). But the biggest reason this is so good is that the content is also EXCEPTIONAL. True, Rich doesn’t go into the finer points, but there is absolute GOLD in the report. It sounds like Rich’s training program will be out of reach for most folks, but so what? The Beau and Tex types should stop complaining and actually start applying the gold nuggets found in the Manifesto. My summary? Choose one niche, develop a marketing System for it and manage it with a Process Map. Amazing. Not one in a online thousand entrepreneurs (including me) follow that.
Outstanding stuff!
Interesting to read. I notice the difference between people by the posts here, which is also interesting to read. If I got one thing from your manifesto it has to be focus. I already know, but it can not be repeated too often.
I need to focus on my plan. :)
I was shocked to know that I was an oppurtunity seeker. I have already started looking my business from a different angle. I only hope that I could afford and get a seat in your 11 weeks program.
Hi Rich,
I thoroughly enjoyed reading your Manifesto.
It hits some real hot points that
every Internet Marketer needs to
consider.
I like how you break down “outsourcing barriers” since
I’ve often thought of oursourcing
but didn’t have a structure to
communicate effectively and measure results — so I’ve avoided doing it and my business
hasn’t grown.
I did learn some of this in Dan
Kennedy’s NO B.S. series of books,
but I like how you presented it and it reminded me of what is important.
To have a personal coaching program to put this into action is a winning combination — no
wonder your clients get the results that they do.
But like you said in your Manifesto, it’s not for everyone
– you have to be willing to step
up to the plate and do the
work…and you will be rewarded
heavily…
I look forward to learning more in
coming weeks as you mentioned in
your manifesto…
Glenn
Rich,
The Manifesto was incredible!
I’ve been online since 1999 and it gave me answers to questions that have been bugging me for 7 years.
I’ve had products in the works for months that I had no idea how to make a reality. Now I do.
I’ve already started creating product roll-out process maps so everyone on my team knows exactly what their job is.
I’ve also used the formula you shared to figure out exactly how much my time is worth and will govern my activities accordingly.
Your sharing the information in the Manifesto really is a God send to me and I know the next 6 months will be the most profitable and productive months I’ve ever had.
Rich, Thank you!
-Ron Henley
All my life I’ve been told, Keep it simple-Stupid… I got off that “path” so to speak. What a tremendous help, and motivating too, ro read this!
It’s great!
This is the best material I’ve ever read on building a successful internet business…
Rich had the courage and integrity to step out and tell the truth….
Thanks Rich…You’ve opened my eyes and I’m sure the eyes of many marketers out there…God bless you…
Hi Rich, you let me know that i am definitely a opportunist which i did not realize, but it won’t be for long. Just wish i had it sooner before i spent all that money.
It’s a awesome piece of work.
Candice
This is a straigh forward, keep focused report on how to target in on “one” niche and bring it through to success, then build on that success.
Some great tips about your time, money and much more. Grab it and read it - several times!
Rich,
Thank you very much for the report!
I read it right after the download.
I have been struggling to get my internet business going, starting out with knowing almost nothing about the internet idiosyncrasis.
Over tha past months I learned a lot, and I worked very hard.
I am changing my whole strategy to do things according to your layout, which really makes sense.
I was too used to the brick-and-mortar way of doing business and maybe even somewhat outdated - I am not a spring chicken anymore! (LOL) - and this report is very, very refreshing.
I am starting right now with the necessary changes!
Thanks again,
Maria
It is amazing how much work can be accomplished when you focus on building up productive time and developing long term strategies.
I really enjoyed Rich’s insights on these topics..
I’ve actually built a program around getting “opportunists” to think long-term.
This manifesto should be required reading for all my subscribers.
Hey Rich, I read through the maifesto and it is great. I did not expect much out of just 33 pages but I was frankly a little amazed.
While all of the gurus are teaching one step methods, tactics and maybe even two step systems you are looking at an organizational reproducible multi step system that allows a person to map out exactly how to build a business with a basic level of knowledge.
I guess this will be a busy weekend for me doing process mapping to make the mosto f my time over the coming months
Thanks
Rich,
The manifesto would put order into the chaotic world of internet business implementation where most of us have been doing.
Simply awesome report.
Alan
Thanks Rich.
Totally enjoyed your straight to the point report.
Very helpful to us who stray off course.
It brought back some painful memories when I first started hiring outsourcing programmers for there lower bids to save money.
WOW!!! It cost me much more in the long run. With all the lost productive hours I spent getting the products finished.
Much success on your venture with Agora Publishing.
Great marketing example using the Tell a Friend script.
Best Regards,
Jim
http://www.niche-mart.com
Looking forward to what you’ll send out between now and when you launch your next coaching group.
Best thing I ever learned on the internet.I liked your honest approach to doing an internet business.Iam just a newbie who has wasted a lot of time and money.Thank you for your honesty.
Shirley Guyomard
I was having lunch with John Reese at a recent Big Seminar, whining about my poor time management skills and not having enough time for all the marketing tasks, leads and sales rolling in.
He asked me what I would do if 100 prospects called my office tommorow instead of 10. (I sell exotic cruises and resort vacations and close most sales PERSONALLY by phone)
I said I would hide under my desk and start to cry.
he said I needed to focus on STRATEGY and SCALABILITY, not tasks and time management.
Now I downloaded your manifesto and clearly see what an overwhelming mess I’ve made for myself, along with an earnings cieling (prison) I’ve created.
And I’m one of the SUCCESSFUL ones!
Well, at least I try to stay focused just on marketing strategies that apply specifically to MY business and don’t get caught up in the endless “next big opportunity”
syndrome.
Lou
Oops!
Such an eye opener and I am very grateful to you for having made a point to show to most of us -struggling “opportunists” - how to become and BE the entrepreneurs of our dreams! Thank you so much!
Tatiana
as a newcomer to the internet with an actual service & products I am trying to market i am finding it quite difficult to find the information on web marketing techniques I actually need, I can see the principles of your manifesto but not the best ways of making use of this information, Cathy
An extensive and thorough report.
Good work
This is, without question, the most comprehensive report on developing a strategic approach - not a tactical approach - to internet marketing. Bravo!
Rich,
I’ve read through this once and am going back again to be absolutely certain I didn’t miss a thing. Thank you for making me realize what I would have never admitted to myself - that I am an opportunity seeker and I am horribly embarrassed to admit that. (no one send me emails :-))
Thank you for this information and I look forward to seeing more!
Kristine
Yes,,, a much better and realistc reading then the volatile fluff written by the same “experts” that apparently learned from you.
I now wonder if they learned much about product creation though. They learned the strategies no doubt. You are an awesome strategist, but maybe they should also be advized that it is NOT OK to sell rubish.
Other than that, I must say, this is a rarely written and well presented truth about business in general. Not just online concept. I know a bunch ‘mass mentality’ oportunistic wanabies that could use to read something like this. They may put logic rather then oportunism in action.
Unfortunately, I believe it will not be the case for majority which is still a great thing for bad product creators.
Great work Rich.
Hi Rich,
Thank you for articulating such an important manifesto so well. Reading it was both inspiring and overwhelming.
I feel that I am a person of integrity and very much in the business of inspiration and helping others. That is why it is difficult and embarrassing to reconcile that I so clearly fit into the opportunity seeker rather than a true entrepreneur.
I can’t wait to to evolve quickly from the one to the other.
Thank you for offering this wonderful gift of insight into me and my business.
To you continued success and prosperity,
Tshombe
Excellent report! Now I know how to get out of the ‘job’ trap I was seeing about to happen with my current business. Thank you a thousand times for sharing this.
Thank you Rich,
This is a report that everyone conducting an internet business can learn from.
I went from being a “desperate for knowledge” newbie to “almost indescriminate opportunist” without even realising.
By the time I started trying to get some strategies going I was in total overwhelm.
That chart with [you] in the middle really hit home. I started with the naive blindness of seeing only [website] and [products] on mine! Ha - I had stuff I never knew I had to know popping up all around me before I knew it.
This helps a lot. Especially the flow charting process. That really brings things into manageable chunks and allows me to gain perspective.
Thank you - I would so love to be one of the participants, it will be a life-changing 11 weeks!
This is really a very good report for anyone who are serious into Internet businesses. Thank you Rich for the generous sharing! Just the right thing at the right moment of my business.
This is great thanks Rich. I related to Karen’s feeling of being overwhelmed and this makes it clear how to move forward.
Excellent!
You have really made me see the road to follow! If I have had this information a few years earlier I could have saved a lot of frustrations, time and money and in the same time made my life a lot easier!
Thanks!
Hi Rich:
I am SOOOO GLAD that I receive e-mails from prople like Alex M. and yourself. I have read your report and I am thankful I have. Everything that everyone has written on your Blog ois true. Thanks for puting something like this out there for us. I am not only e-mailing some people I think will be interested, but for some that I don’t have their e-mails,I have burned your manifesto to CD and I am handing it to them.(I hope this is OK with you) I have printed this out and am going to reread and reread this report.
Thank you for these “simple” thruths (just ignore the people complaining about the content! Most of them are possibly opportunists hoping for another “spectacular method” to work the miracle for them.)
What counts for me is that it opened my eyes for the reasons WHY at times I am envying the cleaning woman for her hourly rate. It may not be as easy to follow through when you are not selling goods but services but the comments about the worth of my own time per hour and the process optimization combined with the financial goal setting are diamonds for me.
Thank you very much!
Hi Rich,
I downloaded the report, but did not really read it in depth until 4 am this morning! All I can say is this is really jolting stuff. Many Internet Marketers, including myself, can be prone to tunnel vision and being busy staying busy! This information will give you a “grounding” in reality and force you to question your business model and your own effectiveness in running your business. By your just having presented the facts about “Systems” and “Processes” and “Productive Time” you have given my mind something to work with in achieving my short AND long term goals for my business. I have two completely different businesses, but I now realize that these strategies MUST be implemented for both of them. Thanks for the eye opener and jolt! We all need this kind of check to avoid staying in a rut that we did not realize we were in. For some of those who pointed out that you were building up to a sale for your coaching course and it is just a sales pitch and nothing new was there, I can only say that’s their loss if the info went over their head! And any online entrepenuer would be a fool not to promote a successful product they have created at any turn! And many of us realize the risk you took with this document, including having it altered & reworked, and then resold. It would have been so easy to do if you get my drift! Keep on keeping on!
Best Regards,
Russell Hallonquist

I read the report for my internet businesses, but have actually seen where these principals need to be applied to my “brick and mortor” business too. This is good material for any business.
How about a scholorship???
WOW Rich. You just saved me a bunch of money I was getting ready to “waste” on so called Internet business development products and other tactics destined to fail once again.
My only hope is that I saved enough money today, and over the next several months, to be able to afford your upcoming course.
I never realized before reading your manifesto that I have been an “opportunist” looking for a situation.
BTW- If your system is good enough for Jim Edwards it’s worth more than casual consideration. . . which creates a terrible dilemma for me.
Cruise with Jim or sail with you!
I do not know what all the fuss is about this manifesto because all you are saying in it is comon sense buisiness practices.
Thank You, Rich for providing a Free Report such as this for Online Marketers. You spelled out in black and white the way of most people (Opportunity Seekers) delve into online marketing. You are very correct that Most people do not really think of an online business as a Real Business and thus set themselves up for dissapointment and failure right from the get go. Developing a business takes time, guidence and patience. Your report, although brief is a Great tool to help and remind all of us stay Focused on where we want to take our business’s to, which is of course success! I personally recieve ezines and newsletters from many of the Top Guru’s and Non-Guru’s you mention, but take only the parts from their teachings to help develop my business. Since I am a skeptic at heart, fortunately I have not spent all my monies on what the current fads are. If I recieve 3 or more of the same promotion in the same day from the Big Guys or the opportunity seekers, I do not jump right in on the Current Fad. I will refer your report to my readers as I do feel it is extremely sound advise in its structure.Thank you and God Bless
Hi Rich,
Great report… you’re creating quite the stir. Some great common sense suggestions and realizations.
Thanks,
John
Rich,
This was truly an eye-opening report! It doesn’t just apply to online entrepreneurs but to offline entrepreneurs as well. This information will be invaluable as I embark on creating online business. Thanks so much!
I’m just starting out and with all of the “stuff” coming at me I’ve been on sensory overload and have downloaded more “junk” that I’ve no use for. Thank you for the most informative report. Looking forward to more pearls of wisdom from you.
I don’t even have a website yet, but am in the midst of trying to learn everything I can to become an internet marketer! I don’t have a product yet, but have some interests that I would like to develop. Your report paved the way for me to begin in earnest!
Thanks
Thanks for the smack along side a hard head! I think I’ve got it now… and believe me, I’m going after what I’ve been missing for a Looooooong time! This “Freebie” download has to be the best article I’ve read aside from “Think & Grow Rich”!
You’re kidding, right?
Pap - all pap!
Thank you so much for something that can change a person’s future. I will apply what you teach in the manifesto and then success will be forthcoming. You are an asset to the online marketing community.
Rich’s business manifesto is truly exceptional for a free report.
Overall strategy is a huge key not just for profits but for your peace of mind as a business person.
I would go further and say you should have a definite strategy for the end results you want to achieve for your prospects, clients and anyone else you come into contact with in your business.
There’s a whole world beyond just profits and ultimately business was designed to serve people.
In our modern world people have begun to serve business and the “bottom line” god of profits.
But modern business success stories like Whole Foods are demonstrating that having a philosophy and strategy that goes beyond profits creates enormous client loyalty and ulitimately is a more profitable model probably due to the escalating cost of aquiring new clients.
Your business strategy should reflect the service you want your business to provide.
If you want a business that endures you should quantify what you and your business stand for and set your business strategy around that overriding philsophy of service.
Kindest regards,
Andrew Cavanagh
Thanks for some plain old fashioned common sense about becoming a successful entrepreneur that’s not all wrapped up in hype. This manifesto should be readily available to all. A free report that’s truely priceless.
Hi Rich
First, thank for your report. How did you come to my e-mail address?? I never thought about internet business until i clicked by chance onto an url supplying tips, tricks and tools to get more traffic to your site etc. by a German..Bought his reports and am stunned that your FREE report reveals almost the same content, just set up in a much more philosophy way. However, through this German i got american sites and now am being loaded with tons of daily e-mails, each offering a tool or programme or whatever and each about “making more money, millions and so on. All with similiar text and scrolling down to their bottom page, it always reads: Buy now, only …copies left, price will go up tomorrow, last chance, i could list up endlessly. They all using the same tactic, almost the same outlay of website. How does it come?? Smile in Switzerland. Of course me too, i want to earn money, more money than in even in a good paid so called “normal” job. Clicking on the comment sites in your blog there are many many pages all looking the same, just selling another niche product, or at least trying to sell it! And these pages are all ugly to look at! I have learned that the look of a website is not much of importance. It’s its content and focusing one product, setting the right keywords etc.
But you won’t believe me. I still don’t have my website done yet. If everybody does the same how can everybody earn millions?? However, your report is the best FREE one i got from the U.S. Properly done, looks very serious and different from others and its FREE and i was lucky to get it.
But, i wonder what is coming next. Will i learn more, will i be able to finally set up such an ugly page and sell a niche like
“butterfly food” (forgive me for that niche product - i have not found one up to now!) and get rich with it??
Can you convince me and lead me to success? I am very excited to receive your next news - for the moment i am not able to make any furthergoing statement until i get more substantial information and concrete details.
Thanks a lot and still hope to read you soon.
Have a good time.
Outstanding! You have clarified my thinking, and focused my future. Thank you for sharing the Manifesto. How much do I need to come up with for the 11 sessions?
BuySellHoldAdvice.com is a system of analysis and publishing that generate daily updated investment advice for over 12,000 stocks traded via the NYSE, AMEX, NASD, and OTC Bulletin Board issues. Our strength is our ability to generate a broad product line of timely reports: BuySellHoldAdvice, e-mail Alerts, Trendtracker histories, graphs, portfolio reviews, industry group reports, market overviews, HotPicks - trade suggestions, and database screens using custom KnoWhen Filters selected by each investor/user. Obviously, I have sent years on developing systems and processes for publishing. Only once I attempted to make these services available to the investing public did my major brokerage firm clients terminate my contracts, saying my company “Innovest” was now a competitor - this is why you should work with me to bring this tool to the hordes of individual investors attempting to manage their retirement and investment activities online. Everyone wins.
Nothing new under the sun. But a nice refresher of old materials. Errors are easy to spot by an intelligent readers. Magic numbers assume 10% growth rate???!!!! - Newegg went from 0 to Billion in 4 years. Internet should be 500%-1000% growth in six months if it’s done right. Nothing new, nothing quantum, little bit of Eker, Allen, and others stiched together — but a good read for those who don’t read much else.
Didn’t find a thing in the manifesto that addressed traffic to a website. To much garbage about the past. The future is what business people are focusing on. You should outline steps on how to draw traffic for all types of websites. I did not find this. I did find a lot of hype. Nothing in the manifesto that I didn’t already know. I hope you all of the success you can enjoy.
Thanks
Joe
Terrific. I am abt to start my online business. I was also thinking of going the opportunistic way. But, thanks to U, I am a bit enlightened. A real thanks
Hi Rich,
Thank you for sharing your valuable report to us! This report is worth gold. And it is totally the truth to what you are saying. Power!
Regards
Martin Chua
Before I read your manifesto, I thought I was building a business, I have a website, I have some traffic, I have a small list, but through your manifesto I have come to realise that I am just an opportunist with a website with no real long term goals (other than make lots of money).
Rich you have provided everyone with a huge wake up call!
Many, many thanks.
Rich, I thought i knew about business and the kind of thinker I was, untill your free report has got me to rethink. You are correct about only a few would be able to afford your 11 week course, because I am new to the internet and want to be able to make money some day. As it now I’m a ebook away from bankruptcy. I think your info was great for anyone in business offline or online, as a matter of fact the reverse clock story has made me think about life in a differant light.
Thanks
Marion
The information contained in the report was fantastic and spot on Rich. Our site is relatively new, but has been set up because we are fed up with all the hype put out by internet marketers selling to the “herd mentality” online promising riches beyond their wildest dreams and working 2 to 5 hours a week from Bermuda while outsourcing their business.
Maybe some people do do this, but there is another brigade, those that would be satisfied with $100,000 year and the chance to work from home and spend family time. Why is it that everyone wants to continually talk in millions? Money is NOT the most important thing in life. It cannot buy you love. It cannot buy you happiness.
You promote writing a Business Plan, which I thoroughly endorse, however before you even approach that, you need to document a Life Plan and then fit the Business Plan into you Life Plan.
Kind regards,
Ric Raftis
I have paid for a couple of sites, and one I still have, but I did not get much value out of them.Offline seems to work a bit,and the products are worthwhile because they work.
Will this be an opportunity to get even one sale through this last website .I cannot bring myself to say I am an internet Junky. Please, somebody , click on and by from my site today??www.wahlee.4healthdirect.com It does seem better to just relax and see who is close at hand who can buy the products with no hype and no excess hopes.I fully expect nobody to click on and buy the …stop, relax, do something else now
WOW!
Thank you far more than words can express for opening my eyes to how a business should be designed and operated.
I learned more in the last hour than I ever did in college or anywhere else online.
I read your report with interest, Rich. It has restored a sense of perspective and purpose in what I should do each day. Up until now, I have been an opportunist, not an entrepreneur! Now I know what to do. Thanks for your advice and thanks to Yanik Silver for telling me about your manifesto.
You were immediately on the money. I knew it, and you stated it so I can’t avoid it. I have been an opportunist. If I don’t make money one way, I look for the next. I don’t give any one method enough attention and don’t have a written strategy.
Interestingly, I am the opposite running my employed business. I have forces processes to be mapped and planned, and have outsourced IT development etc.
Sometimes you just need someone to say - take a good look at what you are doing.
Thanks
Rich:
I think that you have done a wonderful job with your Manifesto, and I`ll do my best to spread the word and get it into the hands of as many people as I can. Keep up the good work.
I found the Manifetso helpful I espicially liked the section about setting money goals and how to value my time. Thank you for sending it to me.
Thanks for your help to first and for this free Download Manifetso.
It is very helpful and truthful.
It is some of that what you have to read again and again
Rich
I took the apprentice program with you Steven a year ago and
really appreciated your process
focus.
The report was well done and the
recipe for success outlined…a
job well done…
Upon reflection I need to refocus
on the processes to go from 200k to 10X that. I am looking forward
to checking out the coaching program
Rich,
Thank you so much for providing this report. I know it’s what a lot of people don’t want to hear, but that’s because most people don’t want to do what it takes to become successful. So many of us fall into the “busyness” trap instead of thinking big.
My favorite things about the Manifesto? The focus on productivity and this sentence:
“…sticking to one niche, developing a full funnel of products, and insituting…”
That one thing is going to help me, a “little work at home Mom”.
Thanks again :)
Wow! You hit the nail right on the head. You described me to a T. Now, maybe I can stop panicking, or doing the knee-jerk reaction dance and get on and make a success of my online business future. I can’t thank you enough. I’ll always be in your debt.
Wow. I’ve been struggling online for 6 years getting nowhere along with most of my buddies. This was great. The problem with a lot of the ebooks (and I’ve bought almost all of them) is that they tell you what to do but don’t tell you HOW to do it. Some of us just don’t understand and it’s not spelled out for us!! This was great! thanks a lot!
Susan

Wow, that was the most informative 33 pages I ever read. I started online in the mid 80’s. Didn’t start marketing until the late 90’s. I wish I would have had this information in the 80’s. I would be retired by now. :-) Thank You,
Michael
Did you pay for all these people to kiss your ass?
Are you all blind ?
It is nothing new whatsoever
Just an invitation to spend more money on next course…
What a scam , I thaught that by being soooo wealthy-you could’ve
give us something to work with, not just bla, bla, bla
Coming back to Rich’s question why someone wouldn’t succeed after reading this:
Very simply: If you don’t implement it and action it.
Most of what is revealed is not rocket science at all, it’s just that most “business owners”…… really don’t have these processes in place, including me :-)…
Thanks Rich for a great report with some great distictions and a template for anyone wanting to make the shift from hoping to succeed on or offline to Entrepreneurship with all that entails.
Happy Mapping folks!
Cheers,
Tim
I don’t grasp the most important thing in this excellent report. What do you mean by strategic entreprenuer and vision. Can you give me an example plz.
Rich, This is mathematical proof after reading manifesto. On the otherhand, it’s reveal the secret online about getting what you deserve. I’m using this oportunity to thank you for this gift which is free to receive.
Perfect! Even as a business and management coach myself, I recognise where the challenges in my online businesses are focused. Not rocket science and so blindingly obvious that I missed it myself. Thanks
Interesting! What a pitty that I am being send from one domain name to another and I can’t find the way to apply for the course.
Great job!!never seen perfect hypnotic writing .
You share how to view whole terms of net business.Thak you for that.I am keeping stay tune what
are you going to share good things for people.Be real Noa!
I dont have a website or internet business, but I am interested in doing online business and am trying to develop my own site.
I got your manifesto earlier, but was now able read it through in detail and am very much impressed in the way that you put your ideas forward. I am involved in a small offline business and the concepts are workable in any enterprise-on or offline.
You have enabled me to categorise many of the socalled business men as not entrepeuners but really as on the spur oppurtunistics without a real sense of vision nor direction.
I liked the section on calculating the value of my time. I had a notion, but didnt know how to do it logically.
Thank you for your time in considering me.
I wish to have a website up and running soon.
Thanks again
Mello
WOW, that was fantastic.
Just recently I’ve started a website and I just realised, thanks to your manifesto, that I’m not going to make any money from it, unless I change the way I work on it. And I mean the real work that is supposed to bring me money. I just wasn’t doing it.
How could I not see that?
Rich:
I finished reading your Manifesto and, being a former CIO in the corporate world, I couldn’t agree more with your concepts. However, what about those of us who are still in the process of trying to get an Internet Marketing business to our desired level of success.
A bad accident left me in a situation where starting my own entrepreneurial Internet venture was just about my only opportunity. I don’t have much money to work with and my list isn’t very big, yet.
My concern is that your methods, while extremely sound, seem to apply only to someone who has a lot of capital and a huge, established list.
Even though I got excited while reading your Manifesto, I ended up feeling that this was yet another good concept that would work for the established Internet businesses, but not for me.
I have put so many techniques into action since I started (from SEO tactics to list building tactics) yet I still struggle to build a viable list of “buying” customers and my Google PR is still “0.”
I WILL NOT give up, but when is someone going to divulge what REALLY works to achieve success?
At any rate, the Manifesto was excellent and I believe in the concept. Good work.

All I can say is WOW! you really openned my eyes Rich. I think all the gurus that were willing to get your message in their hands should be highlighted. Maybe it would apply some pressure on all the others that don’t want us to see them for who they really are. Personally I got emails from Jim Edwards, Mike Filsaime, and Yanik Silver. All 3 of these men have moved up a notch in my book because of their support of your message. And thank you Rich for helping us all see the light.
Thank you Rich,
Where do I start? I couldn’t help bursting into tears when I read your report. It explains why I have such a struggle keeping up with what I am trying to do and have been working on since 1998. In 1994 I got this crazy idea of setting up an online newletter, ‘98 got the internet, 1st online purchase Cory Rudls Internet marketing, then discovered I had to learn how to build a website. In those days website folk where few and expensive, and no-one understood what I was trying to do. I must say that in isolated rural areas still no-one comprehends what I am atempting, I have learnt heaps and have some useful knowledge, but couldn’t understand WHY I couldn’t get to happen……now I see, and I’m excited! If stickability has anything to do with it….sometimes I think I deserve a medal, but I would prefer to show all my doubting friends that I did it!
thankyou
Katherine
Great report Rich
Can you or anyone else recommend some good process mapping software.
Thanks
Neil
What a great report! Thanks for being so generous! I appreciate all your help.
This is great!!! What a report! Everyone needs to read this without a doubt. Thanks!
Awesome.! You had to be a World-class I.E. Professor (Industrial Engineer)in a previous life.
Absolutely the best document I have read on the web - bar none.
Should be required reading.
Thank You, Rich.! From the bottom of my heart.

Interesting. I think you hit the nail on the head.
This oddly sounds a lot like E-Myth by Michael Gerber with a few tweaks here and there. Processes, systems, putting your business on auto-pilot so that you can spend more of your time working ON your business and not in it.
I’ll be interested to see what these other marketing strategies and never before seen tactics are! Sounds wonderful.
Rich,
Great read, it really opened my eyes and changed my mindset towards the online business world.
Cheers!
Very interesting…All these principals can be used to increase your profits in any business. The thing is you put it in such simple terms. Right now I am looking to start an online business…just don’t know what yet, but at least I now have a road map to follow.
Thanks!!
Thanks Rich for provided such straight forward, no non-sense material that everyone who markets online or is thinking about marketing online MUST know in order to succeed!
My advice to all is to make sure you read the Manifesto more than once.
Don’t think that through one cursory reading that you will fully grasp and understand the material to its fullest.
The information Rich has just provided to you should make a powerful impact on your business mindset, if you but just let it do so!

thanks, u really help me, now i look my business as a chance, as a posibility to grow up
Rich
Thank you for putting it so plainly that even a newbie like me could understand it and thank you for giving it free. I realize that for the past 6 months I have been an opportunist driven by desperation because of my financial situation and then making it worse, losing what money I did have. I look forward to reading the missing chapter so that I can put your strategies into action.
I have read with interest all the other comments and I just wonder if those who have found nothing new or consider it just good sales copy have such thriving businesses that don’t need improvement. In reality if it is nothing new then they would have already been applying it themselves.
The Bible says that we reap what we sow and I believe that you will reap a great harvest by sowing this manifesto into the IM community. God bless you.
I have seen a 10 fold increase in my business just this month and I can tell you it is because of exactly the strategies you discussed. What a gift for you to spell it out for those who can’t find the light.
WOW Rich,
You just rocked my world and made me see where I’ve been headed. Your Manifesto Stopped me in my tracks. You have given me some tools to revise my thinking from
opportunist to an entrepreneur.
I’ve been so ovewhelmed the more I learned the less I felt I could handle this whole gig on the internet. Who to believe about what! Jumping around like a Kangaroo and then hiding in the pouch at the same time.
YOUR manifesto is a relief to know I’m not as crazy as I thought. There has to be an easier way…the whole idea was to get myself a real life not work myself into the ground over nothing.
God Bless your truthfulness and willingness to come forward and cut to the chase. At last!
Warm Reegards,
René Remington
It is now 12.31 am I downloaded the manifesto at 11.45 pm and figured what the hell I’ll open it up take a quick peek and then readit fully at my leisure, WRONG after the intro. I was unable to stop, It is like being hit upside the head with a sledge hammer repeatedly, Fantastic, my only regret is that I will not be able to personally work with this man. Thank You for the Manifesto.
That is a real eye opening experience, reading your manifesto. I’ve got a lot to learn! Thank you for the start…
This is a very good document. I am already doing most of this but it sums it all up with ral clarity. I couldn’t recommend it more to someone that is just starting up or struggling.
If anyone needs help with Internet marketing, check out my blog at: Keith’s Internet Marketing Blog
oops, my blog link didn’t work. It’s linked to my name above now.
Hi Rich
Thanks for sharing.
I approached the reading of your Manifesto with a landline business in mind as well as online. I see that it fits both ideally and spent time doing the exercises which are quite revealing.
Rich,
to me, your manifesto is a gift of God.
T-h-a-n-k y-o-u!
What a great book you have written! I have printed it out to read it again and have it as a bible on my working place.
I loughed, when I have seen the title side. It was, as I see my thoughts pictured!
A big THANK to you for all that useful informations, you have written in the Manifesto.
This is great stuff, and would apply to any business in any market. If you aspire to business ownership, this is a must read! Simple, to the point, and logical, which is a word that has been completely left out of internet marketing.
Over the years, I’ve read a lot of information on internet marketing. However, I have never read anything like this, and I’ve never had anyone give me anything like this for free.
Thank you so much for this. You’ve made me realize that my real passion, my real gift, is taking technical information and translating it into plain language so that others can understand it. By combining this skill with my writing, I will be able to make a lot of money and help others at the same time.
Thanks so much, Rich. I’ll definitely pass this along to my readers. It’s just too valuable not to.
Sincerely, Jinger Jarrett
Rich,
What a perspective. I can relate to so many opportunistic views. I will be workingh hard on strategy. This is actually quite interesting. My entire thought process has been mophing over to the strategic way of thinking for a while now.
The manifesto really puts me into the focus pattern I have been searching for.
Using your blueprint and reviewing my strengths and weaknesses will be easier and more defined with the mind maps.
Thank you for the redirect. I hope we meet in the near future.
Oh My God….The Manifesto came in just the right time for me. And then The Missing Chapter is like icing on my cake. Rich, I am just starting out. I rewrote my business plan the night after I read The Missing Chapter. I started making a website with choices9 and now put it on the backburner for a few days, just so I can get a few more things done. Outsourcing seems to be some what hard to plan, because, I still am not sure what componants I can do myself at this time. Wow, I sure wish I could join your selected group of trainees. I wish you all the best in your new endevores. Take care and please remember “us little people” when you have more ideas and stratigies to share.
Woaw Rich, I needed your cold shower to wake me up again. I’m a business consultant myself, and just started to look at the internet as a new business (ad)venture…;)
Your report came just in about the right time, bacause I was feeling really frustrated with my progress (which is none…;) because I was following the Internet Hype of “More is not enough”, and is against everything I preach and teach in my ‘offline’ Consulting business.
I have to admit Rich that I was both dissapointed and angry at myself after reading your report, because I always teach people to start building their business in the same way you build a house. You begin with loooking for the land to build on, tha you start dreaming and visualising what style you would like, then you desing it and make the plans, and only then you’ll start with the foundation FIRST. How could it be possible I let mer lure into the hype, and started with the roof instead. No wonder it didn’t feel right to me.
Of course my ‘excuse’ was lack of time, but thanks to you, and especially ‘The Missing Chapter’ I now (again) where my priorities are, and will start all over again.
I would love to be in you coaching group, but I just committed to another Internet guru for a one year coaching. Maybe it is compatible with yours, because I believe your coaching will be more about strategic planning, while theirs is more about the practical things to do.
Where can we find out some more information about your offering?
Oh, and another thing Rich, I could feel your frustration on the comments of “common sense”, but it is exactly what we all know, but are all missing. It is people like you that will help all inteligent seekers to become back with their feet on the ground. Those who miss the importance of going back to the basics and the value of simplicity, are general those people that are very good at being negative about everything and anybody, (except themselves) but their lives are going nowhere, and they blame all the others for it!
So don’t let those people belittle the value you bring to all those with an open mind.
So, thank YOU for sharing this most important ’simple basics’.
Rich, I agree with many of the comments here, your report is an eye opener. I believe a details Home Study Course from you with certainly benefits literally thousands of netrepreneur seasoned or beginners. Just hope it will be affordable to the average folks.
Wow, this was a real eye opener. I’m glad I got to read this report.
Good Stuff.
I am so glad that this is being published. I agree and understand. I hope I can be one of the eleven!
~from NYC
Rich,
Your report was awesome until I got to the very last page of the Missing Chapter where you mentioned ” My program is for those who are serious about learning how to build a multi-million dollar business, from ground up.” My question: If a person IS very serious about learning how to build a multi-million dollar business from the ground up and don’t have the funds to join your program where does these folks fit in? Again, I thought the report was awesome and I do plan on implementing your stategies. However, if you don’t have the kind of money that is needed to get this kind of help is it fair to say that someone is not DEAD serious. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks for your time.
Wanda

i am very new to this world,i was lucky enough to get a copy and you really have saved me from making a shed load of mistakes.
i especially like the bit about the following all the others, just doing it faster, i had already fallen into that crowd, im just glad you took the time to open your mind to the world because it saved me a lot of money and wasted time in the long run.
the only downside to your report is me having to admit to myself that i was going about it all wrong
and for that i sincerely thankyou.
good luck with your new venture
WOW - I feel like someone just took a can opener, opened up my skull and found a part of my brain that wasn’t being used.
Thanks Rich, the Manifesto was and is a massive ongoing, electrical charge that ignited, awakened and energized that part of my brain.
I can’t wait for the course coach! Keep me posted.
Thank you for taking the time to write this report and make it available to all. Being a Process Mapping Consultant in my previous career, it never ceases to amaze me how many people use the ‘P’ word (process) without actually taking the time to do it. Your report should hopefully open up some eyes.
Rich,
Your missing chapter really helped me evaluate the important aspects of what I should focus on. Thank you for that. (By the way, you mis typed “strength” on page 21 of your missing chapter. ( I know you can spell)
I have only read the ‘The Missing Chapter’ and am anxious
to study the rest of your report.
It sure looks like a winner!
Without the math people are just dreaming. You show the math and give people a number to judge progress by. Your manifesto illuminates where people need to think to step onto the up escaltor in business so that they have financial growth set in motion.
There is a problem with your PDF file. I have tried to downloard it three times and it does not finish. It cannot be saved as a PDF document.
Hi Rich,
Thank you so much for such a great manifesto. You really nailed it for anyone struggling to make any headway with online marketing.
I’m so fed up of the hype and lies; it gives those of us who want to make an honest living such a difficult time. But while there are many thorns, there are still roses…and I must say your manifesto is a mighty fine rose!
It will be a pleasure to include your manifesto as a freebie to my list.
Thank you!
This is like being lost in the woods for days and being saved.
Thanks Rich.YOU the man!
What distinguishes you from everyone else in your business is your level of intelligence, honesty and integrity. This isn’t just a mindblowing document, it’s a whistleblowing document as well. I’m monitoring my email constantly so I have a chance to take your 11 week business building intensive. I can hardly wait to get to work.
Just read your report. I am a newbie to the internet business (Read a lot and not done much action)The good news is your revalation that the skills I have from corporate job - Project Managent, Process mapping, measurement, SLA’s and outsourcing are exactly what is needed to suceed - Just never realised it Thanks for that.
Rich,
I’m from Peru, South America. I have been stunned and amazed of your clear and comon-sensed manifesto. It’s like you’ve taken off a kidnapper maskin tape from my eyes! Thank you.
I have an eMarketing company in Lima since 2001. I’ve really struggled a lot because I was forced to be an entrepeneur since the “big” company blew everything up and closed offices in Brazil, Mexico, Miami, Chile, Venezuela and Peru —not advicing anyone!! So I had no business plan and everything caught me unprepared! So the first three years were hell but now I earned 4K monthly and cleaning my debts. Of course, it’s not enough. But at last I see a way of being more productive and transform that into a more than decent income …just for your report. I don’t know if I would be able to afford your coaching program but I know I’ll do much much better on the business I have now. My country is signing a commercial treatment with your country (hope your congress approve it) and I know there would be wonderful opportunities for me and other and thousands of small companies in Peru who are full of hard-working people.
Thanks again!
Great report. Valuable information. I had to laugh when I saw the work flow chart. Now I know why I always feel so overwhelmed. Thanks for breaking things down in an easy to understand format.
Hey Rich,
Subscribed twice now to get the ebook but nothing has arrived in my email account (over 24hrs!).
Can you send me a direct download link please.
Pete
Hi Rich, As an old hand at business and training but a newbee to the internet marketing I have spent Thousandsof dollars with the so called top guros on the net and got a load crap but this is sheer magic. If only I had of hear of you 6 monthss ago I would have saved myself a small fortune and made myself a large one. please contact me to discuss you becoming my tutor right now.
Rich…
You are like Ritalin without the side effects!
For over 6 months, I’ve been literally Bouncing [unhappily but w/a ridiculous amount of naive hope] between ebooks & “amazing” ideas & offers, as if I had undiagnosed ADHD…SOOOOOOO much information & no time to read or process it all.
It seemed as tho I had *Newbie-Sucker* hidden my email address somewhere!
Thankyouthankyouthankyou for being a beacon of SENSE in the internet fog.
I know now that, thanks to your Manifesto, there is clarity of purpose. Ignoring or unsubscribing to the email static that confounds is the first step.
Personally, the Organization Chart covered in “YOU’s” is what Boinked my brain the most!
& the page before the chart? “Why on earth would you spend any more time looking for
more to do? You aren’t even getting done all the stuff you already want to get done –
but most Internet marketers are on the lookout for the latest and greatest opportunity to add to their list of stuff that isn’t going to get done.”
OMG, Rich - you totally nailed it! Can’t thank you enough.
Tsk…see? Can’t even seem to get my Website right when I need to, DAMN! :o/
Thanks Rich!
Very interesting and refreshing. But it is always the same…the good stuff if for those who can afford to pay…those who already have money…I don’t, though I want to be successful like the rest of you. But thanks a lot for giving us a taste of what we are missing!
Ruth
Rich …THANKS ….YOU SAVED ME FROM MYSELF….
Amazing. Super interesting document. Really gave useful food for thought. 28 effective minutes for CEO’s of Fortune 500-companies. Getting more effective WILL definitely be the lesson of the year. Thanks a lot. :-)
Rich, thank you for clarity and a well desrved sense of calm… I mean focus. Kudos to you Sir.
Nice read.
There is wisdom in this report that anyone could use to mind map his or her way to a successful enterprise. I’d like to get my hands on your Rolodex. Therein lie the greatest secrets of this report.
Besides the bragging and the sales pitch, there was a good 10-15 pages of useful ideas for approaching your business.
Rich,
As the guy who created and launched the Consultants National Resource Center in 1980 in Washington, DC for newbie consultants and created the National Association of Business Coaches in 1997 (and sold it in 2002),I could care less about the “bragging and sales pitch” part. As the old time pitcher Dizzy Dean said, “It ain’t braggin’ if you can do it!”
As one who looks to itroduce and then immerse our small biz clients in project management and the scripting process through Visio and other process mapping tools, your copy is right on the mark. I am saddened that others seek to keep you from disseminating this info.
Can’t wait to see what you and Bill Bonner are coming up with! Someone told me that it might be in competition with my next project. Heck, I’m cheering you on! The more people treating their businesses as a true entrepreneur would, the better the economy.
As old Sun Tzu once said:
“Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat.”
I say Amen! to that as we both probably have our share of clients who exhibited both lots and then to have clients that put it all together–sweet indeed!
Keep on firing!
Steve Lanning

Rich… This is a TREMENDOUS report!!! I read it twice and each time I gleened more nuggets than the previous time. I have to say it certainly made me think of Michael Gerber’s ‘The E-Myth’ and how we Internet Marketers always seem to forget that we are actually suppose to be building a business… Thanks for setting us straight… Cheers
Thank you, Thank you for sharing the Manifesto with all of us. I needed to hear this. I haven’t treated the online businesses I have started as businesses. Starting without a plan, just diving in, then wondering why it didn’t work, being frustrated and tired. This is huge. A real eye opener or wake up call.
Thanks again.
Kathy Clark
I’m so frustrated because I’m all revved up to read this report and I can’t open it. I keep getting a message saying the file is damaged and it cannot be repaired. I emailed the support email address given, but the link that was sent back to me gives the same message. Aaaah. I want in on the action! Please help me if you can. Thanks!
It is 1:45 AM- i HAVE JUST FINISHED READING YOUR MISSING CHAPTER, AND THE LIGHTS HAVE JUST FLASHED ON IN MY HEAD. I HAVE BEEN IGNORING MY WEBSITE BECAUSE i HAVE A BIGGER CAUSE- I AM TRYING TO BUILD A COMMERCIAL DAYCARE IN A WAY THAT HAS NOT BEEN DONE BEFORE. i LOOKED AT MY OLD AD AND REWROTE IT- THE LAST AD HAD 7 APPLICANTS, AND NONE OF THEM SHOWED UP. THIS AD HAS HAD 6 OF THE 8 APPLICANTS SHOW UP, AND ONLY ONE EVEN TALKED ABOUT SALARY AT THE FIRST INTERVIEW- THEY ARE SUPER, COMMITTED, WONDERFUL PEOPLE WHO WILL BE PERFECT FOR THE BEST DAYCARE IN THIS AREA. ONE EVEN TALKED ABOUT THE WAY THE AD MADE HER FEEL ABOUT THE DAYCARE. I HAVE TO RAISE ALMOST 2 MILLION DOLLARS TO GET THE PROPERTY, AND I AM A MUSIC TEACHER WHO IS CURRENTLY FIGHTING THE COLLECTIONS AGENCIES, AND WHO HAS NEVER MADE OVER 60,000 A YEAR, AND I HAVE JUST HAD 3 TERRIFIC WAYS OF GETTING THIS MONEY. YOUR MISSING CHAPTER HAS JUST PUT A LOT MORE PIECES IN PLACE FOR ME. IT IS LIKE A HUGE FLASHING NEON SIGN HAS GONE OFF IN MY HEAD. ONE MORE ONDERFUL PIECE OF INFORMATION AT JUST THE RIGHT TIME. I HAVE NOT READ THE REPLYS YET- I WILL DO THAT TOMORROW- BUT I JUST WANT TO SAY WOW- TO PUT IT SO SIMPLY, SO POWERFULLY, IT IS AS POWERFUL AS A BOMB. THANK YOU THANK YOU.
What I want to know is: where can I sign up for the 11 week course?
Thanks!

1. Please let me know where I can find more info on the 11 week course? Thanks to your report, I was able to re-evaluate my strengths and weaknesses and was able to come up with a niche that is built around my strengths that I know it will work. It was a real eye opener!
this report has changed the way I see business. I have made huge changes already: have learned about project management, there for am making a lot of discovery about what I really need to do. Fantastic! can’t wait for more.
Colette
Rich - I feel I must leave another comment. I just read through the ‘Missing Chapter” for
the third time. I have skimmed the remainder of your report just once. I appreciate your
orderly, precise presentation of
what it takes to be successful in
your own business.
Most of all, I appreciate your
willingness to put that information in writing and making
it available to others. Some of
your ‘commentors’ wrote they knew
it all. Fine. However, they are
not giving back to others. Thanks
for your unselfishness.
Dear Rich,
I just read your report. Your distinction between the opportunist and the strategist described my problem precisely. Along with the E-Myth Revisted, your Manifesto has been the only thing that has really made sense so far in building a business.
Thanks,
Simon
I just downloaded the report and went through it in one go. (i couln’t wait to print it and then read it). All I can say is AWESOME. It gave a fresh perspective on things I am doing wrong way and shown ways of doing it the right way.
Thanks Rich for this one.
First, I printed out a hard copy of the Manifesto.
Next, I read every word while making notes in the margins and underlining key ideas.
Then, I reviewed my notes and all of the highlighted sections of the “Internet Business Manifesto” and it was then that I realized…
That Rich Schefren had expertly crafted an outstanding “What You Need To Know About Starting A Business Or Taking A Floundering Concern And Making It Hugely Successful” guide.
The Manifesto is a distillate and organization of only the really important elements needed to make a business grow, survive, thrive and function (at some point) without the entrepreneur’s constant attention and care.
Some critiques have whined that the secrets contained within this document are “common sense”.
I agree that most of the concepts do make sense but they only seem to be “common sense” because of the clarity with which the author has stated them.
Few people are capable of organizing a multitude of ideas, finding the common thread and then packing the information in an easy to understand format.
Two Thumbs up to Rich Schefren and continued success for you and your clients.
Respectfully,
Gerard LeBlond
I have to say that your report has kept me up all night and I will be making some rather drastic changes to my business model!
Thanks Rich,
I thought I had a good understanding of business. I was/am a babe in the woods. At least now I know I have a starting point and can continue to learn. You have established a compass point to show the direction my education needs to take.
Don’t let them put up barriers out of greed. I will be forwarding your link.
Thanks Again,
Ken
Dear Rich,
Thanks for opening my eyes. Yes, I am one of those “opportunistic” thinkers. Your report has given me a lot to think about and, more importantly, actions to take!
Mona
The manifesto was great - definitely something more people need to learn about.
This was definitely a “wake-up call” - I need to focus more on creating systems and optimizing my time.
First Rich, thank you very much for a very well prepaired and concise presentation. I have now read the Internet Business Manifesto. I have also read your “The Missing Chapter” Both are equally well presented for each direction. The measure I give you is that from reading these free presentations from you I gleaned new knowledge, received connecting links with previous studies leading to new or better insight.
Unfortunatly, due to daywork and the daytime tele-conferences I have been unable to attend the last or tomorrows. I wish you well into the future and thank you for thinking of me !
On leaving home, many moons ago, my father said to me ” In your journey through life, while climbing the ladder of sucess, do not tread on the fingers of the people on the rungs below, rather, lean down and assist them gain another rung ” Perhaps you had similar advice ?
Best Wishes = Roy
Rich, your manifesto is an absolute classic, and a demonstration of how the simple things in life can be the most earth-shatteringly effective. I have a new appreciation for the power of a piece of paper and a pencil, properly applied, and I’m determined to use your kitchen-timer method to multiply my income each and every day I work.
From facing the challenges of a beaurocracy that closed me down and was herding me into a blind gully, I have new inspiration to find my way clear to the freedom I long to reach.
Thank you. With all my heart, and more than I can say, honestly, I thank you.
Crystal (Australia)
Hello, Rich. I had to write with feedback on your Manifesto and Missing Chapter. You outlined uncompromisingly where most of us go astray in trying to build an internet business. I felt like you were describing every single (wrong!) thing I’ve done so far. At times it made uncomfortable and even painful reading, for which I thank you. Your honesty and business advice has converted me from an opportunist to an entrepreneur. Anyone involved in Internet business-building HAS to read these 2 documents, or they’re just wasting their time.
Well, Rich U have done smart & hard job. Though, I am not still satisfied with your manifesto.
I am looking something more and beyond.
I have read alot on making money, this is the first time I have read information on how to make my time worth more and if it is, then the money is in the bank.
Dear Rich,
YOUR MANIFESTO IS TRULY RIVETING. IT IS A THUNDER BOLT OF SORTS LOADED WITH EXPLOSIVE CAPABILITY TO JOLT ANYONE OUT OF SLEEPING IN THE WRONG LANE OF BUSINESS.
I AM A NEWBIE IN INTERNET BUSINESS, WHAT AN OPPORTUNITY TO STUMBLE UPON THIS SUREFIRE ROAD MAP TO SURE SUCCESS.
UNLESS FOR THOSE WHO PRETEND, YOUR MANIFESTO HAS A VERY DEEP LESSON FOR EVERY BUSINESS PERSON - OOFLINE OR ONLINE.
YOUR ANALYSIS OF THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN ENTREPRENEUR AND OPPORTUNITY SEEKER IS SO BRUTALLY EXACT AND FRANK.IN TRUTH 99.9% OF SO - CALLED INTERNET MARKETERS ARE OPPORTUNITY SEEKERS AND NOT ENTREPRENEURS. THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME MY OWN REPORT CARD IN THE MOST BRAZEN LANGUAGE.
RICH — YOU JUST CURED ME OF TIME WASTE, LACK OF STRATEGY AND WRONG BUSINESS FOUNDATION.
YOUR MANIFESTO CREATES A SUPER HIGH WAY IN THE JUNGLE OF INTERNET MARKETING.
FOR THOSE OF US WHO MAY NEVER HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET WITH YOU AND EVEN ATTEND YOUR 11 WEEK INTENSIVE COACHING PROGRAM, PLEASE, PLEASE, DO US A SPECIAL FAVOUR AGAIN BY RELEASING ALL YOU CAN FROM YOUR ARSENAL OF UNCOMMON MARKETING STRATEGIES TO US IN TRANSCRIPTS — PDF FORMAT.
RICH - DON”T EVER STOP YOUR GOOD WORKS, KEEP IT UP !
LUCKY OLORI ( WRITING FROM NIGERIA )
I thought that the report was very informative. I will work on using your principles and achiving success while working less! Thanks for the report!
Rich, just a quick note about the last email titled - Squashing The Homestudy Rumors “and I wish there was something I could do, if you have any ideas, please post them on the blog”
What about outsourcing as you mention in the BFM audio with Mike? If someone got the/your system down then maybe they could take that on??
Scott
Perhaps you can have two sets of coaching groups. The second group does not have one on one access to you. The group does have access to the material provided to Group One in some type of read only/listen only on line forums.
I suggest a limited, monthly webcast interaction, with questions submitted in advance, “best ones” chosen and addressed in the webcast. Membership fee for the non-one-on-one coaching to be set appropriately.
I suggest outsourcing the creation of the homestudy course. You could hire someone to create a course based on your conference calls. Those calls could be supplemented with excerpts from the one on one conversations.
You’ve already given away enough information to recreate many of the course concepts. That material could be used to fill in blanks and someone who has already been through the course could fill in other blanks. Finally, you could include a short bibliography of business books that develop at least some of the major concepts you cover in the course.
I understand the need to move on, the been there done that feeling; at the same time, there’s a huge and clamoring market for your knowledge, and you’re clearly enough of a humanitarian and businessman to want to satisfy that market.
I would need to ask some more relevant questions before coming up with some ideas.
For example, what is not clear is exactly how many people requested the manifesto? How many followed up and where from ie their electronic hook into this and their physical location? I am in the process of hooking up the on-line world with the offline world in a way that offers a combination of interactivity and availability of people on the ground. I do not want to give too much away at this stage but I reckon it is doable providing the correct checks and measures are put in place.. I’m based in the UK and can be reached via tele No +44 845 227 0353 and my rather scruffy web site is http://www.marketingdoc.co.uk
Warmest
Steve
Hi,
Re your email about the Homestudy Course. I think it would be a good idea if you took on someone to be your apprentice. That person could follow you through the next 11 week coaching program and possibly beyond and learn a lot of the neccessary skills from you to continue to mentor a possible home study course or further coaching program. You could perhaps be just a high level resource for occasional reference. Look at how the Cory Rudl empire has continued since Derek Gehl stepped up to the plate. No Man Is An Island!
Cheers Jan
Just what report are these people reading? The “Manifesto” is nothing but a 30 page sales letter full of “what” but little “how-to”. It’s another internet gimmick.
Rich, I wanted to tell you, your stuff is pure gold. This is one of the tools which is going to have huge impact on my business. I wish I had known you 12 months ago! Since I started reading the Manifesto, My head is spinning with ideas and concepts to grow the business to new heights.
Thanks for sharing the new version of Think and grow rich!!
This is truly superb material. Your resource suggestions are exactly what I’ve been looking for.
There are plenty of Internet Marketing Specialists around, each with his or her own personality and areas of expertise, but finding one or two who match one’s needs can be difficult.
I feel fortunate to have heard about you. After many months of looking for a mentor for my business, I think you may be the one in whom I’m willing to invest both my money and my time.
I’m looking forward to the conference call tonight and I will be reviewing your home study course as well.
Just want everyone to know posting on this blog is moderated and screened..
you can’t post any negative comments apparently
but I will find a way ;)
Excellent material. You have become the Michael Gerber/Jay Abraham of Internet Marketing.
Rich, this was a real smack in the face for us. It made us take alook into our ‘business’ mirror and what we saw was ugly indeed. We have struggled to decide which direction to go for almost 2 years, but now it is clear. As far as sales letters go, if this does not awaken something in all marketers, then they are missing the point. I can see why you’d cop some stress from the gurus given that their main goal is to keep us all as opportunity seekers so we keep coming back to buy their latest product and hence make thier wallets fatter. What you are doing is unique and brilliant, and frankly, if you make $1 billion dollars from this report, you deserve every penny of it!
Hi Rich
I haven’t received any emails yet about the 12 month coaching programme.
Warm Regards
Tina Arbib
Hi Rich,
Just a quick note to ask if I could put a link in my wed site to your Manifesto publication.
I must admit that while reading it
I was saying to my self “I know that,” at the end of the missing
chapter I said to myself “he is dead right, and you do know it” now stop crying in your Beer and go do it.
If you happen to go to the URL above you will see the results of your stright shooting.
Thank You.
Enjoyed the manifesto. I considered reading it profit building time even though it doesn’t fit the definition exactly!
Hello, Your teachings and articles are very educational, and promote Time (productive use of) as the most valuable commodity we each have. Thanks, a $million, Joe-Ward (naturopath), remember: “gorillas-dont-cook “. ; & ck-out — http://sjogrens-syndrome.blogspot.com
The Manifesto and its counterpart “The Missing Chapter” brings a reality check to your business and reveals key factors that once identified will stop the insane addictive cycle that internet marketers thrive on.
All this while I thought reading to gain knowledge is a productive activity, now I know better. Thanks for making this distinction and many others clear in the Manifesto ;).
I am depressed by the manifesto- I thought I had an idea of how I wanted to proceed online and now I think I may have been barking up the wrong tree. Is it really true that there will be no room for the little guy online. Will I have to build a multimillion dollar company or bust?
Brings people back to the reality that doing business online is “real business too.” Thanks for the manifesto. This is something to share with serious marketers.
I would have to say that this report is one of the best reports an entrepreneur can read. I learned the project management philosophies of mapping in College but never connected that with what I am going to accomplish on the internet. Just wanted to say thanks for an eye-opening report. If you are wanting to take marketing or any business serious you should definetely read this report.
Hey Rich;
You don’t know me, but that’s me you wrote this manifesto about.
Let me just tell EVERYONE…
If you are starting an Internet business, regardless of the type, (Selling your own product, right on through to Affiliate programs) and you haven’t read this, why then you’re just wasting your time. That’s not hype, that’s FACT.
I would like to say thank you Mike for opening my eyes an giving me the knowledge, tool, resources, & allowing me to become a better entreprenuer.
Hello Rich,
I want to personaly thank you for releasing such needed information. For years I’ve struggled to just understand what is going on on the internet.
I’ve tried just about everything.
With your revailing information I can STOP this useless spending and start applying some realistic
sense to what I want to accomplish.
Thank you again
And may God continue to bless you
Hey man just wanted to tell you that the report was a killer. I’m looking forward to hearing more of your work
Impressive manifesto Rich. You have completely revamped my online marketing strategies. I’ll be passing this resource onto my list…and that is rare. =)
Thanks! I will never waste time ever again!
The ‘manifesto’ is not new. It’s timeless information. Rich has simplified the details as much as he could in order to make it all accessible to those who want to stay in business. The internet is certainly an untamed frontier - constantly changing and evolving to a higher form. Rich’s manifesto puts it all into clear perspective and let’s us know how to deal with it all.
Right before I read your report, my husband and I were discussing how I was becoming unfocused due to information overload. The fog has completely lifted thanks to you! I can’t wait to finish the revamp on my site and put good systems into place. Your manifesto points out what a hypercrazed state most internet marketers get into and a perfect way to exit into reality.
I am a newbie. I have yet to start my web store. I have been learning as much as I can before I begin. Many experiences have shown me is better to learn to swim before jumping in the ocean. Thank you for your generousity and concern to share your education to others!
In a year from now I plan to have an awesome web business!
Thanks again.
Leslie
I certainly would spread the manifesto to all my newbie friends who visit my blog site. As beginners, I don’t want them to start on the wrong foot.
Dear Rich;
I have heard your name mentioned in internet marketing circles before, but hadn’t seen or read anything from you till this report - I just assumed you were another ‘guru’.
I have to tell you, as an entrepreneur running a real business - this is simply… stunning stuff.
You are giving away knowledge that some people spend tens of thousands of dollars and years getting an MBA to learn. And, your ‘Opportunistic vs. Strategic’ overview is a ‘nail-on-the-head’ account of today’s internet marketing climate - a fact that any slimy guru will take hold of and try to make a quick fortune from.
Now, I must confess, that even as an entrepreneur I have succumbed to the seductive hype that these gurus pitch, and have purchased some of their ‘business in a box’ solutions in hopes of getting ahead of my competition - but it always ended in disappointment.
Recently, the launch of StomperNet - and all the hype and deceit surrounding it - pushed me over the edge, so I recently started http://www.TheGuruWatch.com to expose the guru hype tactics to the masses. We’re currently strategizing the systems of our project, and we’ll be done soon. :)
THIS MANIFESTO IS THE FOUNDATION OF WHAT A REAL INTERNET BUSINESS SHOULD BE, AND WILL BE THE PROMINENTLY FEATURED ITEM ON OUR NEW SITE. It is what we will be offering as the ‘antidote’ to the false hopes fed by the gurus. Your message is clear: You’re either an opportunity seeker, or a REAL BUSINESS OWNER. This simple guideline will help direct 1000′S to a more realistic future, hopefully cleaning up what has become a very dirty corner of the web by ridding the internet of many ‘guru induced’ search engine spam tactics.
I want to sincerely thank you for sharing REAL, INVALUABLE BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE - you are truly changing the lives of many people, including mine.
Best Regards,
Paul Marek
LOL!! Rich, I just read “The Missing Chapter” and I nearly died laughing!
While we were planning TheGuruWatch.com, we recognized that the one obvious fundamental question - WHAT BUSINESS to start - was not addresses by ANY of the ‘gurus’, so we decided to devote an entire section of the site to it! Now, we have your gifted insight to guide us - THANK YOU SO MUCH! You have cut my workload by 90%!
Can I just give you my list of ‘things to do’?! (You’ll probably show us how to do that in ‘The Final Chapter’ - just downloaded.) hahaaa! :)
How do I go about getting ahold of Rich Shefren please?
Thanks.
Rich,
Another overblown document with no new information. The irony is that the very people who buy this garbage are the “opportunists” that you rail against. Without the opportunists you would have no clients.
Can’t wait to meet you at the ETR bootcamp. If I can learn this much from reading “Manifesto” I can’t wait to meet you in person!
I wasted several years and more money than I will admit to publicly on opportunistic crap! Thanks for the insight and the hard look at myself. My “stinkin thinkin” will no longer rule my actions.
The truth has a certain ring. Your Manifesto resonates with truth. I have never been more satisfied with an infomation package than this one. I’m now starting on “The Final Chapter.”
A hearty THANKS to you for your efforts in educating those of us who genuinely appreciate truthful and accurate knowledge about marketing.
This is the greatest piece of information posted online for free & for everyone to learn from. You are one that understands that it is better to give than to receive. You will get your blessings back 100 fold as your ideas are picked up & used by the many of us with enough insight to take ACTION on this & apply it to our businesses. If we don’t than we will not be in business much longer.
This whole body of work with the others parts should be part of EVERY business owner & those considering starting a business library. It is that IMPORTANT!!!!
I am going to help spread the word about the Internet Business Manifesto.
Thank you
Hi Rich,
Here is Tito from a cold and white Oslo. Its actually very beautiful with the sun shinning so brightly reflecting on th crisp white snow.
Rich, I just finished reading your final chapter and more has been added which make amazing to read. I think this report can be the awesome news for me as an Internet marketer and hopefully to ue your methods to reach my dreams.
Than you very much, you are the BEST!
Regards
Tito
Hi Rich, First I would like to thank you for making the manifesto so readily available to anyone wanting to improve their business. I have owned more than one successful business so far and I plan on using your concepts to start an online business. After reading so much from supposed gurus, you helped me see how much false and misleading information is out there. If anyone is serious about making money online I urge you to read and put into practice what Rich has to offer.
Thanks again
Somehow Manifesto ended up in my inbox. I can’t recall how or why
because that was about 8 or 10 month’s ago, I think.
I do remember though, that I opened the report and viewed the big graphic with all the pink, yellow and green boxes, took a quick look and closed it thinking, hmmm, that’s not for me. Looks to complicated.
Anyway, it doesn’t apply to what I’m currently doing.
Ohhh man, talk about judging a book by its cover! What a huge mistake.
Thanks for the relief
Trevor White
Thanks Rich!
The “Process Map” section of your report was a great value in current business.
Sincerly,
Rev. Justin Chase
I always suspected somebody looking over my shoulders with a critical eye! If you had materialized one of these moments I might have saved a lot of time and earned more money. Glad you came out of the closet after all! Thanks
I finally awakened from a nightmare of internet marketing misinformation. I did the programs but my business has not grown. Now I know why and what to do about it–well, at least a start in the proper direction. Thank you.
Believe me, there is nothing new or magic in this report. In fact, some of the concepts are at least forty or more years old. However, it took me at least 15-years to realize how the concepts of this 33-page report fit together and another 10 to make them work for me. Where was this guy 25 years ago? I am jealous that a rank amateur can start out today with at least 25 years of experience … after reading this clearly-written and understandable report. Thank you for all of your hard work and effort.
The Manifesto makes sense. It’s practical compared to most information I’ve seen. My impression of the way to make money on the internet so far is to get a list, then keep that list so confused that they ultimately blame themselves for their inability to “get it”, thus making them buy more. Anyway, thanks for the info. I’ll stay tuned.
I have just read your manifesto and watched the video- with many pauses to take notes. Thank you so much. This makes such good sense and seems so clearly right. I have been lead astray by falling into this business and never formulatting a plan. I completely fit your description of an opportunist, although I have got as far as making my own product. I have been getting more and more depressed about spending all my time online and still making negligable amouunts of money, barely enough to pay for what I buy.
Your work will make us think about what we do want. Whether we want to build business or whether this is just a hobby in which we are happy just making a bit of cash here and there.
So thank you again for pulling away the curtain and showing the way to biuld a proper business.
Best wishes
Liz
Just dowloaded the material and will use it to start our own online strategy,
Thanks!
I have just recently read through your Internet Business Manifesto ebooks. Thank you for so much for the great information and sharing what others like to keep to themselves so we don’t get the whole picture of what it takes to be a successful Entrepreneur and continue to run after opportunities instead.
You provided so much information, I will be rereading it over and over again in order to grasp the concepts you’ve shared, although quite basic and simple but in order to retrain my thinking to one of a true Entrepreneur instead of an opportunity seeker.
Thank you once again for so much great information and I hope you might offer your coaching that I had to miss out on one day when I am financially able to join.
Blessings,
Lori
Hi,
Just got to read this valuable book. While acknowledging I belong to the group of marketer who “struggle”, I really want to discover how to progress from where I am now.
Allan
Feels a little like the Michael Gerber Stuff in the E-Myth, however I don’t believe that the E-Myth even talks about the internet since the book was written in the early 90’s.
Your book has revolutionize my thoughts and erased negative perception on the internet biz all this while. I am amazed to find out the truth and keep reading it over and over again. It drives me to venture in this business seriously after few days of meditating and devoting my time to digest the truth of the internet business in your book. Kudos to you!
Rich, You are absolutely correct in your manifest. It is the difference between building a long term, sustainable, self run business & a one night wonder & gone tomorrow.
I have accomplished this in my OFF LINE biz. This works very well. My biz is almost self run (auto pilot). I am just now getting into the ON LINE (I.M.)business world. Some of the problems I encountered while setting this up was, 1)getting the financing together to hire people. 2) finding the right people. 3)training your employees.
Question to you is… Are you going to cover these issues? I have talked with many business owners & these are some of the biggest obstacles they & I have had to deal with. Especially for someone that is struggling to just make a living. How can they afford to hire people? My thought on this is, offer the person you are hiring, part of the profits instead of an hourly or bid rate. They will get paid based on Thier performance. This will save you some out of pocket $$ (since most people dont have any extra cash). Whats your thought on that Rich?
hi and very thanks ,in fact iam very sorry and happy because you became contact with me.
my dear iam try to chang to best .
Your information has open new doors for finding the path to a sucesfull internnet business. I’m a rereading the book to understand everything and to apply to my businnes. I specialize in how to play Mexican-Latino music books. My first series is called Mariachi Method Book Begginning level.
I have the first book posted on http://www.mixtapublishig.com for the beginning guitar player. I have written a second book the mariachi method for the Vihuela a 5 string rhythm instrument play by mariachi musicians. The book is not posted as of yet my web master is designing an E book download system along with the guitar book. I’m getting ready to launch a campain, and I will use the information that you have written. I know there is a lot to learn and I will continue to read your information, that you send.
Thank you
Author/Publisher
Michael Archuleta
Very, very good reading. Thanks for asking!
But I am curious about why you use nofollow tags in this section for our posts?
The Manifesto is fabulous! It changed my thinking about business in many ways.
Rich,
You are a legend!!
First heard of you through your List Pros Call with Tellman and was blown away. Your Manifesto is amazingly pertinent to a newbie. From a strategic Marketing background and after a eight year hiatus picking up in the Internet world it is fantastic to have the “strategic” side reintroduced. It’s so easy to get distracted with everything that is out there on offer - learn this, buy this, do that - that you actually have no overview of what you are getting up to.
Looking forward to learning more and implementing productively with strategic intent.
Warmest regards
Sonya
Rich,
You’ve demonstrated the clearest thinking on business management, not just internet business, I’ve ever seen.
Thanks,
Ken Noel, MD, MBA
Rich,
Thanks for making these documents available to the multitudes who can benefit from the information. I can see that they are helpful to all kinds of people. I found the Missing Chapter report most interesting for where we are in our business development efforts and I thank you. One STRONG recommendation for your documents — do spelling and grammar check, please. You are a good articulator of thoughts, experiences, etc., but it is VERY EASY to make mistakes when communicating in writing. When someone of your caliber has typos in his publications it just makes it look like you didn’t go that last mile to make it the highest quality. Just my 2 cents. Thanks and keep up the good work.
A Martinez
Incredible timing! I was feeling completely overwhelmed, and rightfully so. Your report is pivotal to conquering information overload.
Well it’s back to the drawing board for me. Just as I thought I was getting it i find this report and BAM, the whole world just changed for me.
No more opportunistic thinking for me, I beleive i will take 2 weeks off and spend the time (about 24 hours of productive time would guess!) re- evaluating the strategy in my business.
I don’t know whether to thank you or kneecap you :) letting me know how many years of wasted time and money i racked up was a harsh lesson. I think its fair to say that you may have changed my life today.
Thank You
Iain
Dear Mr Schefern,
John Reese is living proof that you should learn from someone who has practiced and been successful in what they preach.
Due to a recent banking error, my subscription to John Rees’s excellent newsletter has just been cancelled. This is very bad because now, I cannot re subscribe without appealing to John’s better nature. This will take time…..
As a result of not receiving my monthly dose of “how to” in the internet world, I looked for another source of inspiration with john’s advice ringing in my ears. While surfing for info I came across your name, I know in some way john had mentioned you in the regular correspondence to his devoted flock.
A name I recognize from John Reese…credibility! I thought, how comforting, I think will read what Rich Schefren has to say and see if John’s inspiration is as good as John!
…… John’s right … you have an excellent way of cutting to the chase!
The way you describe the process of essential thinking for an entrepreneur and the way to make everything work for you, is what exactly the quality of no nonsense information I have been used to receiving. Except, it was at no cost to me!
I could tell my boss how to re- structure his company with this Manefesto!… Brilliant Mr Schefren. Thank you! I will defiantly read all the information you say is on its way…
Rgds
Ollie …
Great report Rich! I’ve been implementing a management style from your “systems & projects” for years and I’m in the construction
business.Can you believe that..?
Thank you for sharing with us… Great job and I’ll follow your information for my business.
Thanks Rich,
I was just passing by your site. Your home study theme attracted me. I read the post and did liked it to enrich my knowledge. Good!
Thanks again,
Alex
Rich,
I’m a BGS client from 2yrs ago. Took some time off during coaching to do transatlantic crossing by sailboat and have been playing catch up ever since. I listen to modules at least 3x/week while jogging and implement them sporadically in my offline real estate business.
Finally taking this seriously now with the move online about 60 days ago. You have no idea the speed at which we’re executing now implementing BGS. It’s 2am and I’ve had many 24hr sessions in past few weeks to keep momentum up.
One of the most important take aways is closing the knowing/doing gap and using speed to make up for inexperience.
I’m literally reading/listening/watching something and doing it immediately. It leads down many paths, taking more time than I think to implement (always does) but my output is now far exceeding my input. I’ve shifted to becoming a net producer instead of net consumer.
We’re just getting warmed up and I hope we can provide 1/10th of the value to the market that you provide. It’s incredible how much you put out on a consistent basis.
I didn’t cry tears of joy when read it. I didn’t cry any other tears either. Maybe because I am not opportunistic. But the manifesto does have some excellent points. It started me thinking about creating a system for my business and increasing the value of my time. Oh, and organizational chart on page 15 is hilarious. I am so blogging about it… :)
PS According to the Internet Business Manifesto, reading the Internet Marketing Manifesto is not a productive time spending :)))
Remember, according to the Internet Marketing Manifesto, reading the Internet Marketing Manifesto is not a productive time spending :)))
Thank you so much for writing one of the best, most straightforward, simply explained systems for something which is so complex and demanding. The beauty is that it takes an overwhelming amount of information and breaks it down into prioritized, tidy, little components. The sheer enormity of the task you undertook to create such a process is inspiring and uplifting in its beauty. Thank you so much for your generosity.
I enjoyed your book.Everything in there made me realize many things (stratetgy, opportunity, time management, what your worth and many more.Everything you said in this book hit me hard because a lot of things I can relate to them. I think there was alot put into this because some people won,t tell you about the pros and cons but you have. This book made me realize that in order for me to be sucessful I have to get into a business I like or try to do somethig about this business.
Its putting you priority in order.
Thank You and it is magnificent.
Rich thank you for this.
I thought I was working and progressing well towards my goals by working 9-10 hours a day 6 days a week. I now realize I’m not ‘working’ at all. Downloading courses I don’t have time to read, reading emails and forums to glean more information. I thought that was productive work but now I understand I’m still in the paralysis by analysis stage. After 15 months and only $10 (almost) earned, I now know what to do and starting today, am doing it!
Again, thank you.
Kathy
Hi Rich
WOW what can i say it opened my eyes to see what you coach to people in order to run there business while your not there.
Some very powerful advice and love you advice better than anyone on online marketing
Thanks
Danny
Your report is definitely inspiring. Sometimes it is important to change perspective. What about the the “little” down to earth issues. Unfortunately it does take capital to make you business (on- or offline) run. Without solid financing you can take any perspective you like without going anywhere. The present financial situation has unfortunately not been helpful in that respect.
Thanks
Michael
I am NOT a web entrepreneur, rather I am an entrepreneur using the web as part of my marketing approach.
The report, while not what I was looking for, does give the aspiring entrpreneur the correct outlook for building ANY business.
I am in financial services. We are constantly told that our time in front of clients is worth far more than doing other things. This article hammered it home for other industries.
Good work.
Enjoyed the ebook. It has must follow business success rules.
Powersports, bicycles, skateboards and ride-on toys is what I sell at http://www.xtremevelocityrealm.com. By applying your fundamentals, i can take this site to the next level - make series leads. Eventually, i will start a superstore in Northern NJ.
I will keep up with the News letters and ebooks.

Pointing out the difference between an opportunist and an entrepreneur has really changed things for me. It’s something I already new but having it actually defined makes those roles so much clearer and will make it easier for me to move away from one and towards the other.
I just read this report. I now know how much time I have wasted in non-productive work but cheating my mind that I am doing ‘work’. Hence forth I will start spending more time on profit building activities.
AND THE PROCESS MAP THING ALONE WAS WORTH, PERHAPS A $100 FOR ME…
THANKS RICH… YOU ARE THE NEXT BILL GATES!!!

I enjoyed the report and found it quite informational. I plan to use it in the future. Right now, I do not have a running business, so much of it was premature for me. Thanks.
Great, thought provoking report. Sure hope it makes everyone take a second look at how they go about things, so we can make it better for everyone.
Hi there,
Thanks for the free reports. Some very good information to share with your readers. This gives a varied insight to the various aspects of blogging, making money online or internet marketing for that matter. I guess it all depends on how the reader studies the information in the report and reciprocates them in the form most suitable. Good Job!
Cheers,
Eddie Gear
Rich,
Great report. It confirms that we are doing the right things in our business. I’ll tell you two things that struck a chord with me.
1. We are in the middle of systematizing our business to the max so it really hit home when you talked about it in this report.
2. What you learned from Alex Mandosian on how to make sure you keep yourself in the “productive time”, with the baking timer. I’ll implement that right away. In fact I’m sending one of my team to Walmart tomorrow to pick one up.
Keep up the good work.
Best regards,
Cecil
Rich I found the manifesto great. It made me realise that I need to focus and get started. As someone new to the business I have a lot to cover
Thank you
Caroline
Rich,
The manifesto was fantastic. I felt that the section on how we use our time was most relevant to me. I’m definitely eager to listen to and read everything else you have to say.
Thank you!
Irving
Thanks Rich, I feel that you owe me a huge kick in the pants. For years as a manufacturing systems analyst & developer I’ve used this sort of structure to plan improvements to create robust systems…then a year ago when I entered internet marketing…my brain froze and I forgot everything I knew. Obviously I’ve earned nil in 12 months….but now you’ve woken me from my apathy and it’s time to put the brain back in gear. Many thanks for the ‘rude awakening’.
I think I’ll now start afresh and use your guides to pick my goals, rate/hour and methodology.
rgds, Brian the fool.
Rich - I just wanted to THANK YOU for the Manifesto! I spent $100K on a Harvard MBA and your manifesto is UP THERE with some of the best lessons I learnt. Now to put it into practice with Advisor Garage and start delivering on the promise. Thanks a million! Or perhaps TWO million. We’ll see! ;-)
The Manifesto is ESSENTIAL reading for anyone interested in setting up a business, and not just on the net.
Straight talking, common sense, incisive… And like all good business books it leaves you hungry for more! Read this before you decide to get started on your venture. You’ll be glad you did.
Wow!
I like the process map, I think the best way is always to keep it simple and clear so that everyone knows their tasks.
I’m from Romania and people here don’t know much about blogging, websites, some have never heard of internet marketing or think that marketing is only the privilage of huge companies, oh and the worse - if someone has to advertise, that means they’ve got serious problems…nobody buys from them, and now they have to show themselves to the world…how patetic - :)
I found your website on Yaro’s blog and I’m really happy because I feel like I’ve learned something today.
My friend and I have a couple of websites but we don’t make enough money…maybe we are missing something. Maybe for sure…
How do you outsource when you have money only to support yourself?
I would really like to talk to someone about this.
I wish you well!

Thanks

Hello Rich,
You are AWESOME! need I say more. Even for a newbie who has only been in the IM industry for a short while, this has been an eye opener for me. Its a complete turn-a-round for me in the ways I will be doing my work now. Thank you for so, so much information. You must have been born a brilliant man. Theres no other way to explain “YOU”.
With my total gratitude for your teachings.

I’d just like to say that this took me back to the basics. No matter who you are, or how good you are at what you do - you’re still limited by time. There is only 24 hours in a day - so if you want to be successful - ” FOCUS ” on one idea - then ” DELEGATE ” and try to get a lot of the little things done through other people. Good management is - Delegation of Authority. And don’t be afraid to share a little - I’d rather have a little of a lot than have a lot of a little. Find the right people to work with and succeed as a team - rather than FAIL alone. Thank - you. You’ve reminded me to change from a OPPORTUNIST back to a ENTRPRENEUR
Your Internet Business Manisfesto is brilliant. Your success that you have had is proof that if applied can work for everyone if they just willing to do it. I have learned so much, I only wish I learned it 9 years ago.
rick
you are the main man in my book - I have done many marketing courses for 1000’s but never have they had the sense to do what you do and say. Its all about commonsense and making friends with your customers so that they look forward to your next moves.
Well done Rick - keep socking it to me man
