This presentation surfaces several of the concepts I think are VERY important when building a multimillion dollar business.
Please watch carefully, and ask yourself how the ideas can be applied to your business and your situation.

Rich,
I can’t believe how much I’ve learned from you in the past two weeks. All the stuff you’ve just given away from free has really got me thinking about how I conduct business.
Thanks for everything. I missed the coaching club launch, but I’ve signed up for your waiting list, so I hope I can get in on whatever you’re doing next!!!!
Thanks,
Mike
Rich’s advice on time management is critical - and this is compounded in importance when we live in internet time and can get so easily distracted by too many opportunities. I have been calling it internet ADD and it’s something we can cure with a little help.
Great video Rich. Keep it coming!
Thanks Rich, the stuff you go through in the video has been enough for me to improve my business in Mona Vie from Bronze level to Black Diamond.
To Your Health and Wealth, Keep up the GOOD work.

Great stuff. Can’t wait to see what you come up with. I’m sure that whatever it is, it’ll be pretty good. - John
I’m not sure what it is, but you can really crystalize important concepts into easy to understand ideas.
Not to mention the fact that you’re sooo handsome!
Thanks for the delivering the goods. ;-) Debbie
The manifesto is truly enlightening. I missed the coaching opportunity but I am very interested in purchasing a home study course if you ever make that available. Your use of MindMap is truly powerful and I am sure you will give powerful MP3 interviews and case studies.
Rich,
You may not remember me but I had dinner with you at Stephen Pierce’s seminar back in January of 2005. I had never heard of you before then but I chose to sit at your table because of your incredible track record with offline businesses. My income was at the same level as Mike Filsaime’s back when he started working with you. A year and a half later and I’m doing a little better but working twice as hard. I wasn’t able to make it in time to be in your elite 150 group but the information you’ve given me has already helped me work less in my business.
Take care,
Gary Huynh
it just keeps getting better and better!
thank you for the time and effort you have put into providing this incredible information.

I wanted to subscribe to your feed, but it is not working.

Hey Rich,
dude where the hell you come up with these marketing stuff man, it frigging awesome..
I wish I had the cash to get in on your program yesterday but maybe next time… ;-)
The resources you’ve shared have been gold to me and others I thank you for that.
Anyway I’m about to get into this new pdf and can’t wait thanks again.

Hi Rich,
Here’s one possible solution.
Would it be possible for you to record some of your consultations have them edited and offer them as an information product to help the people who can’t get your coaching.
Kindest regards,
Andrew Cavanagh
So peeved you’re giving away these “secrets” for free. :-)
On Monday afternoon, July 17th, I happened to come across you and the generously supplied materials–the manifesto, lost chapter, interviews, etc.–and began going through them. I had no idea that there was a deadline for anything until I saw yesterday (after noon, when I got home from my day job!) that I’d already _missed_ it!
What you so strongly support is nothing less than enabling us to move from Kiyosaki-defined state of self-employment (with inherent exhaustion and limitations possibilities for expansion and freedom) to a true business, and at that a business that best corresponds to our true strengths (and thus to our true possibilities for long-term, strategic growth).
Thanks an immeasurable amount, and albeit [too?] late, I’m very grateful for encountering what you’ve given us.
Hoping to be able to work with you in the future-
Maco Stewart
Even though I missed out on the initial coaching offer, I, like a lot of others, cannot wait to see what you come up with next. It should be dynamite!
Rich,
Thanks for the training video. Great stuff. I like how you used video.google.com to deliver it.
Best Regards,
Jim Phillips
PS. Don’t stop let’s see some more of your video’s. This is very helpful.
I want to start a web site about heathy eatting, and selling progesterone, DHEA, pregnenolone, and thyroid. I am looking for a website designer, in the bay area, in California.
QuickTime icon won’t work. I have reinstalled QuickTime but still when I try to click on the icon in your message — nothing. I can hear or see what you want to tell me.
Any suggestions?

I just wanted to say that even though your coaching program is what I want, 5G’s held me back. I guess going to the local bank and holding them up wasn’t an option for me. I must say I have absorbed and learned much just being on you list for a year now, and having read, shared, and now living the manifesto is bringing me more power and belief that all this online stuff is not in vain and is for real.
It does level the playing field, doesn’t it?
Thanks Richy Rich.
Very good stuff.I hope to get in to next coaching club or whatever
you doing next.
Thanks
Hi, I have signed up yesterday, and I am not sure now if i am in or not because I didn’t receive a confirmation today. But I had one yesterday in terms of my credit card did pass through… Also I am receiving this e-mail leading to the blog as if I was not signed up yet.
Please let me know
Rich,
Thank you very much for this information. I was wondering if you could post the power points of the last part of the video presentation regarding the different metrics on thru the end. Thanks Lenny
The Video is terrific. We would have loved to be included in your coaching club but due to the time difference we were too late. We are sure our paths will cross sometime in the future and we will be able to secure some of your coaching, methods and future thoughts.
Best Wishes.
A tremendouse presentation.
I hope your able to teach an older person.
I cannot get your video to work! I love your uncommon, common sense ideas. I do not have a business and I am old. Am I a hopeless case?
Hello Rich,
I read the Manifesto. I read the Missing Chapter. I listened to all 3 of the interviews. I watched the hour and one half video.
I was able to make the list of 1500 to be able to view your coaching program 1 hour early.
I also responded in enough time to be enrolled but I didn’t and here’s the reason why. You said if your just getting by please don’t enroll so I didn’t.
I love your material and I think it’s great. In fact, I think it’s profound.
Why do I feel so terrible afterwards when I read, listen and watch all of the information?
Because I go back to the day to day grind in my business and I do see an end in sight. Now I hear your voice whenever I start to do something in my business.
“Process Mapping, Managing Projects, Magic Number and so on”
Every single business owner needs what your teaching. No one teaches this and you still have more Internet Marketers throwing more stuff at you each and every day and it’s not going to stop.
I know they are just seizing the opportunity they didn’t necessarily create it.
Bob Proctor said something one time that has really stuck with me. He said, “my way is not the only way to success but it’s the only way I know to teach.”
I wish I knew your step by step system. I wish I could wake up every morning and apply your strategy to my line of business.
Your information is great but now I just have a thousand pieces to a business puzzle that I have no idea how to put together.
All the information you shared just left me wanting more.
I know $5k for your coaching program was a steal. I also know that is because I haven’t known to use the things your teach is the reason why I was not in a position to enroll.
Please find someway to get this information out to more people. Do you really know how many people could transform not only their lives but their business by applying this information?
Thanks again
Rickey

I really enjoyed watching and listening to your video presentation. My biggest fear right now in trying to get an internet business up and runing is my money situation.
Wow!I read the manifesto before and really was impressed with the depth and breadth of the information presented.I have always had a desire to be a business owner, but in the last decade since I returned from a second missions trip in Africa with a debilitating chronic neuropathic pain disease it has been intensified.I finished my last year of high school mostly in bed lying down as well I completed a power engineering course through a technical institute much the same way.I have always wanted to be able to make my own way even before I ended up in unending constant 24/7 pain that feels like torture.Like most people who want to be successful on their own terms,I spent more than I care to remember on different “opportunities” only to end up panning for fool’s gold. One thing that really connected with me(from the manifesto) was the idea of the difference between an opportunist and an enterpreneur(spelling?).It dawned on me that I was an opportunist who Thought he was being an enterpreneur. What I didn’t realize till I was reading the manifesto was that by grabbing at almost every opportunity that passed by or presented itself as favourable,I was actually trying to do too many things at the exact time and therefore was unknowingly frustrating my own goals and plans by not process planning(something I just found very enlighting in the video presentation).Like they say,if you aim at nothing, you will hit Everything!Anyways, just wanted to thank you Rich for the abundance of insight that you have provided freely(pretty amazing when you consider some want you to pay obsene amounts for highly plagerized content let alone Actual original thought, ideas and content!)
After reading the manifesto although convinced of it’s worth and value and the fact that it was an idea(s) who’s time had come,I was intrigued with the Pied Piper effect of your magic flute(your way of thinking and ideas);and after watching the video presentation I realized by everyone seemed to be so enamoured because if learned and applied this stuff has life altering implications for the better not just for your business but for yourself, your management of time, and your ability like you quoted,”Do what you do best and leave the rest to the best”.I also really enjoyed the excerpts from the author of “Rich Dad,Poor Dad”,Robert K.My uncle who is a realtor and a real estate investor introduced me to his books and like you has helped alter my thinking. Thanks again Rich,as the video progressed and more and more gems were unearthed I realized how amazing and educational it most have been to attend the whole event.
Sincerely,
Stephen
I have been looking forward to get what i needed but all your sending is not on fit. I am looking for oversea pastor i will go into church partnership.
Rich we can’t get enough! It’s THAT good. Please keep it coming.
You’re changing lives in a big way.
Keep it coming

I am an artist and most people probably wouldn’t think that this type of stuff would apply to an arist. But it does in a BIG way! thank you so much for sharing this wonderful information!
Fantastic video. There was so much great information for anyone interested in building their own business and to see the difference between that and twiddling your thumbs. Great work and a gift to those of us trying to understand what to do. Look forward to seeing more.
Rick; As I read all the well earned Comments & kudu’s, I think anything I have to say will just be a copy as I fully agree with all the praise. You have given all of us an incredible Value for our Life goals. Now we allneed to put what you have taught into our Goals andthen into action. You sure have inspired me to action. My personal thanks for your clear thinking and writing it all down. Ray
Hey Rich!
I only have this to say:
I printed out your Manifesto and the missing chapter and am reading it. And only if I can burn this video on a DVD, just by having all the information from you is like having a million dollars in my pocket. What more when I apply everything you teach?
Thanks a lot!

Just love this coaching on the “Big Overview” and conceptual analysis of what a Real Internet business should be. How to manage it’s growth as a business and not as a self employment opportunity.
This however, as I see it, will require focus and discipline to stay on-track. Too quit looking to the left and right side of the tracks ditches called opportunity hype. Hype that has helped de-rail many of us from achieving balanced success.
Great presentation
Your words.
I’m not EXACTLY sure what I’m going to do, but I know
there must be some way to assist the THOUSANDS of
people who desperately want help growing their business.
I have a way for you to help the masses of people and also help your bottom line. I am one person who would use your service over the internet. I could not justify $5k for your program and come to America to see you, as I come from Australia. But $150 over the internet as a PPV (pay per view)is afordable for most people around the world. With this program you can broadcast to thousands of people around the world and get paid for doing so. If your serious, check out my web site.

And I thought I was an entrepreneur. Shhh. Don’t tell anybody that I’m not. I’m in real training now thanks to the Manifesto and the Lost Chapter — getting on the right track and tract to becoming an entrepreneur. I’ve suffered from information overload and now I understand why!
I will seek to garner as much as possible from the materials you are leaving us first hand that will become your legacy. I will continue to sift through to weed out good entrepreneurial material that is solely relevant to advancing my own company both online and offline.
Thank you Rich!
Hi Rich, If you gave so much for free in the video, I can’t even imaging how much you are going to give in a course. Can’t wait.
Vadim
Thank You Rick;Hope I signed up in time, and for support. Much Aloha-Ian Kagimoto.
i did not really understand his comment on the resources page about webjillion.com and the temptation blocker.. could anyone comment on this
nevermind .. i figured it out.. you have to search for this in the blog and you will find the blog post and the link to download the program
Rich Schefren’s “Internet Business Process” video is what all “entrepreneur-wannabes” need to watch… digest… study and incorporate into their very being.
Rich has distilled the essence of what is necessary to build a real business that can operate on its own without the creator of the business being a “one-man-band”.
Michael Gerber’s E-Myth, Robert Kiyosaki’s Cash Flow Quadrant, Peter Drucker’s teachings, along with Deming, Jeff Paul and Ray Kroc business building philosophies are all distilled down to their very essences and presented in a way that can give the “ready student” an experience that can only be described as an epiphany.
Two thumbs up to Rich for a great presentation and education.
Respectfully,
Gerard LeBlond
Rich, thanks for the video and resources. They are just awesome.
Do you have any tools on discovering strengths and passion. Also tools on fidning profitable niches?
Abel
Rich, I am quite at a loss for words. I thankfully got a link to download your manifesto from Suzanne Falter Barnes and having read that, and the “missing chapter”, and now seeing this video, I can see why and where I have wasted so much time. Like all newbies, after 6 months of buying “crap” I’ve got information overload, and have become paralysed. If you don’t mind me suggesting it, the best thing you can do for those of us who could not afford to join your group, is exactly what you have done above. Create a set of videos (that can be added to on an ongoing basis by you)and let us “subscribe” to this. That way we get to see and hear you, and if you want to include script, so much the better. There you go…..that’s EXACTLY what we need. Thank you once again, you have changed the way I look at developing an Online business, in fact ANY business. Best of luck - from “Down under” in Sydney.
Hey Abel,
re: “Do you have any tools on discovering strengths and passion. Also tools on fidning profitable niches?”
It’s weird, but I think Rich answered your question in the last 30 seconds of the video (which is funny because those may have been the most valuable 30 seconds someone will ever watch..)
He said:
“That’s why I left the Hypnosis business: there’s no scalability in that business. Someone who paid my company $2,000 for a hypnosis program, it was very difficult to get them to buy anything else ever. And it just wasn’t a good business model. I couldn’t build scalability. If you can’t build scalability in the business you’re in now, you should really start to think about if that’s the right business for you, because you’re in a promotion business.”
Jay Abraham once said when people bring him ads and ask for help with their ‘business’, he would say “You don’t have a business, you have an ad.”
This idea of scalability resonates with the other ideas Rich shared. Continuity. JVs. More products/services.
Generally, a longer Life Cycle and higher potential value.
Which makes a hell of a lot of sense, which is why it is VERY important what business you choose in the beginning.
It’s like rigging the economics in your favor right from the start. The front end…really and truely…is irrelevant. A business run with ‘one offs’ and only on front end is sub-optimal at best. Right? Because you could lose money on acquiring leads and still make kick ass money over the leads’ Life Cycle.
It’s almost as if you’re looking for a business that is rigged to be a ’set up’. A high probability of success business. Picking that type of business right off the bat.
The potential value (other side of current value) in terms of Life Cycle is going to make a huge difference. So in terms of what niche - one that has high backend potential, because so long as you can bridge the gap between LOSS and Break even (on acquisition), you’re cool. And that’s where tactics like Up sells come and save our butts with little to no changes to our copy.
And the whole ‘what niche’, again: Probably stack the odds in your favor and one that has some form of continuity already built in!
Anyways, so much to think about. Awesome video Rich. Thanks for sharing!
I have forwarded this onto my Boss who also needs to watch it. Even with a degree in business and marketing it was good value. Thanks Rich
Thanks Rich. Sharing your Big Seminar presentation for free. That’s overdelivering. Incredible stuff.
Hi Rich
Great stuff watching a master and I really mean a MASTER work the hungry crowd.
Hi Rich
All I can say is, you have taken me one step closer to my dream, with this amazing presentation.
Thank you in heaps
Saravanan
Thank you for reminding me to stop being the technician and to start building my business. It is amazing how I could read Michael Gerber’s E-Myth and listen to Robert Kyosaki’s materials, yet still get sucked right back into being the Technician in my business. I can’t wait to start mapping out our business processes and teaching someone else how to complete the telecom analyses for our clients so that I can focus my time on building the business. You have totally destroyed the cliche of “you get what you pay for.” Your video was FREE and has benefited me more than any of the products I have purchased in the past 5 years. Many thanks and may God bless you.
I’ll look when I know how much
You did it again !!! Still havent’ watched the video, but the resources list is incredible.
Thanks again
Hello Rich,
I am not sure what it is… since I did not met you or taked with you in person yet.. but from what I received so far in the emails.. tel me you are a powerful men.. I did not watch the video yet.. but I already feel you are into something big..
I wish you are a God Fearing men and what ever you do will be noble and ethical… at this time I do not afford to get in your programs.. but I am very interested to learn from you an dperhaps soon will be able to afford any or al of what your programs have to offer.
May God Guide you in all you do, say and think.
nick
Wow, I am glad to hear from you. I am a greenhorn just starting to learn about internet marketing business not even a month ago. You have given me so much pointers how I should put in my energy smartly in to this business. Thank you. What remains now is for me to put this into action. When I have my first success, I shall remember you.
Cheers
Hello Rich,
I am a koeran pastor thinking about how to do well what I do.
And your video is a eye-opening approach to me.
Your presentation, I believe, literally can influence basically what all people do in life.
And you gave it for free.
You have given happiness to so many peopel with God-given talent.
I pray the following words of God come to pass onto you.
[Luke 6:38]
“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
[Acts 20:35]
The Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
I beleive encounter with your video is the grace of God.
My pastoral approach will get a great momentum.
May God bless you!
Yours in Christ.
Thank you very much.
A very compelling and informative video, and I’m looking forward to the release of related products in the future. Your approach has the “this is what I should be learning” feel that I most covet.
I also found the list of resources very helpful, and would definitely be interested in any additional resources you can recommend.
Rich,
You are my hero.
I have been highly encouraged by your manifesto and the video. I now see more clearly what I need to do. And since you have shown how effective planning and systems can be, I am highly motivated to do it.
Your tool list is awesome and yes, please send more!
BTW, is it possible to get a copy of your PowerPoint?
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Thanks Rich for the video. It helps us o lot for imprinting in our “unconscious” the business success ideas. Also kudos for the PDF resource file, it contains great outsourcing links, very different resources in comparison with what you get in an “usual” “resource link”.
Thanks again!
Great - whole new view on it being a business vs playing with something at home which is how most of the opportunities are presented..!!
Thank you for the pointers..
Rich you provide great value. One other person I can think of is Holly mann of honestriches.com
MR SCHEFREN:
I’ve been an Internet marketer/JV facilitator for 10 years now and would like to speak with you or email you as I am very resourceful and have alot to offer in regards to marketing and JVs. Please contact me direct at ceo@invisionholdings.com at your convenience.
PS: Would like to get the recent hour and a half video in MP3 format so I could save it. God bless. :-)
Sorry, I could not download and see your video.
What should I do?
Regards,
Elia Levi
I was up three hours past my bedtime watching the video and as a result inspiration came.
More videos please
Pat
Rich, I loved it and it’s excatly what the market needs to know. My thinking has transformed with the information you have given. If there is anyway possible you could provide us with a copy of that presentation it would be great. Thanks
Great info. Thanks
Rich, thank you so much for all that you are doing. I devoured your Manifesto and The Missing Chapter. The video really clarified and captured the big picture for me.
Jackie
This video totally captures your attention for the full 90 minutes. I took notes on the key points and plan to watch it more than once! Congratulations on being able to bundle your message in a way that compels others to take action.
I know you are the real deal as I saw you speak in Baltimore and met you personally. Yes, you are running a business for profit but you cannot hide the passion you exude for others to be successful. Your willingness to share with us some key techniques and strategies is refreshing!
Thanks for sharing because we all know you did not have to!
Have a maximized day,
Kimberly
Hi Rich I just recently came across your website and I just watched the seminar video that you did and I would just like to kick myself. I have taken a business college course and they teach exactly what you teach. Yet I didn’t think that a internet business was treated the same when in reality it is. Your seminar was great and I hope to learn more from you. I am going to start to apply what I have learned now to my business. On another note, it would be great to do something on finicing your business for those who don’t have the start up capital. What suggestions do you have for someone who is starting out? How much capital should you need in order to do a online business? What resources are out there for us to use? Thank you again for helping those who are wanting to build a better life for themselves.
Rick,
What you are saying is correct, and is similar to e-myth…but in terms of outsourcing…for a small start up who might/will have a very small budget, then money becomes a big issue, and therefore that small start up has no choice but to do it all themselves…but I do agree with your logic…
Excellent! Everything you spoke about i am trying to do, it makes me feel i am on the right track for creating our new website, we are just raising the finance to make it happen! and your experiences knowledge and services would excell our developments through the roof. But i dont have the finance just yet to work with you and your team, but i will.
Great Stuff Rich! I missed the launch of your coaching club so I’ve signed up on the waiting list. Your insights into time management are right on time when it seems that these days, the net is bombarded with one new product launch after another. Heck… if I read through every daily offer in my “Inbox” I would never get anything productively accomplished. There’s more I would like to say, but for now, I’ll stay on the waiting list.
I enjoyed listening to your video “Full Length Business Building Video”. Can what you are promoting apply to MLM?
Thanks for making this great resource available. It is great and so simple to understand.
WOW! You’ve literally showed how the K.I.S.S principle works in your talk (from beginning to end)! Very good choice of illustrations and presentation work (thanks to your assistant).
I’m scouting out good materials for my friend to find tips in running her business more efficiently/effectively…Oh, it’s growing, but sometimes you need an extra push and encouragement…that’s my job…moral support!
May I refer this site to her, so she can watch the video?
Great video. Nice to see the manifesto in another format.
MY BUSINESS MODEL SUCKS! (but it’s getting better)
Looking forward to the coaching club.
BTW - Great sales process!
I like what I have heard if only I could understand ,I work for a company so I am the little guy with no knowledge of buisness
I would like to know more he talks a lot of sence , From England
Hot Stuff!
Info like this will make us rich, Rich.
I’m now, totally rethinking my strategy, niche, etc.
Thanks a million.
Quickie - where does the little guy who’s not yet making thousands a month, start?
Does he need to build his income to a few grand a month by himself, then start process-mapping/ outsourcing?
Thanks again,
Scotty
Thanks Rich!
Over the course of my career I had heard bits and pieces of what you were speaking about but had never seen it put as succintly as you did.
I’m starting today implemeting some of these ideas and my husband intends to watch your video too so that he can use some ideas in an entirely different arena from the Internet.
I look forward to seeing and reading more.
- Kristine
Rich
Thanks for the great video and information.
I never looked at my own internet business in the way that you have done in your video and can now start to make better use of my time.
take care
and thanks
Rich -
Wow! If only I would have found out about this prior to the launch of your coaching program, I would have been the first in line. I just got a link to this page today and have just spent the past few hours watching the video and reading the Manifesto and Missing Chapter. What an eye-opener. Thanks so much for being so generous with your knowledge and experience.
I am currently in an apprentice program (with 3 internet gurus)that cost more than your coaching and all they are teaching us about is basically product development (like you explained in 3 paragraphs on p. 13 in the Missing Chapter document). Now I am re-thinking that as well… as I feel like I’m going about all of this in the wrong way. Thanks for opening my eyes.
I signed up for your waiting list and would love to be able to take advantage of any more coaching you may be offering! I am disappointed that I missed out on this offer - but I will definitely process the information you shared and re-adjust my business.
Thanks again, I really appreciate the insight!
Will
Hi Rich,
Great stuffs! All those “gurus” who sell junk lessons should be ashamed. I Can’t believe the value of what you are offering for free.
Great list of resources! Can’t believe there are stuffs like that out there.
2 suggestions for you:
- Can you give the resources for Virtual Assistants that you always talk about?
- Please provide a download link for the video. I’m on dial up and I keep disconnecting while watching it, thus, I can’t view your video. Not even with buffering.
Regards,
Rich:
Thanks for the manifesto and sharing, the voice interviews, and now the video.
Would like to see a home study or printed material about how to develop the key business metrics.
As you state become fanatical about the metrics they are the window to the leverage opportunities right under your nose.
Tell me more about these metrics so I can become a fanatic.
Best Regards,
I have a possible solution to the home study course problem. Perhaps as you coach your new group of 150 people, you can record your conversation (with permission of course) and release the audios of some of your coaching sessions.
Jason Cooper aka “NetfireGuy”
http://www.NetfireGuy.com
Rich,
Just receive your “Squashing the Homestudy Rumours” email and wanted to make a suggestion …
With the approval of the coaching program members, either as a group or individually, why don’t you record the telephone consultations and any communications that occur.
Take all of that content and turn it into a course that anyone could have access to (removing the identity of the individual coaching members to protect their businesses).
That way, others could still benefit from the process that you go through and the approaches that you take.
It’s leveraging the content and information that’s already going to be created, so it won’t be very much additional work - you would just need to record the conversations, organize all other communications and compile them using one of your famous processes.
That’s my two cents …
Jason Dolman
Thanks Rich for showing us a live demonstration of how internet marketing actually works. I just watched you put out emails that resulted in you getting 150 people to agree to pay you some amount ($500/month?). Not only that you created a frenzy for your services and now are showing us how to backend market to the people who didn’t “get in”. Brilliant.
Replying to your e-mail, you have two main “exits” (I’m out!):
ghost writers or pre-written texts you may change in no time.
I have their addresses, just in case.
Best Wishes,
PT
PS.: Avoid “my” Website. Thank you.
Hiya Rich, You asked for ideas in your recent email…..
Maybe I’m missing something here, but based on what your own ideas around business… isn’t systematizing your coaching methods the logical next step?
ie.
1. Find 12-25 people that are qualified to coach.
2. Have them in place by the time your program starts in a couple of weeks.
3. Open up the doors for additional people to take advantage of coaching with them.
4. Have these groups start a week apart, with the first trailing your elite group by a couple of weeks.
Rich: You mentioned in your last email that you do not have the bandwidth to do a home study course for those of us that did not get in on the coaching. I have a suggesttion (and yes it is purely selfish on my and my teams part). Our expertise is in content and knowledge management - which really translates into we transform coaching sessions, live sessions, and printed materials into home study courses that really hit the mark. Now you may ask who we have done this for in the past - well, you can add Avaya, Cisco Systems, Varian Medical Systems, and Peet’s Coffee & Tea to the list. Let’s talk and see if we can work together to get your message out to all of those that are yearning for your expertise. Let’s chat - Dr. Bette Daoust
With respect to your Home Study email. You could record all the calls, clean them just up a bit and release them just as Jay Abraham did with his boot camps. Offer a guide/workbook so students could follow along with the calls. Many people would find significant value there, especially if you’re no longer offering the coaching program…
Rich,
Thank you very much for getting your business information out to the many people that will benefit from your teachings.
I first came across your material from Keith Wellman and Mike Filsaime just before I was to attend a seminar that they were at in Seattle.
After reading thru all the responses I see there are many others suffering from the same overload and technician mindset, which I have been afflicted with.
I understand the true value of a mentorship program and have enrolled in one. My mentor is a descendant of one of your students and I know I will be in good hands.
For those of you who could not get into Rich’s program seek out one of his students. You will see his teachings in their program; I know I have with my mentor.
I look forward to passing on your work to all that follow me and to my children, so they can learn the proper way to become successful.
Thank you again; you are truly a butterfly creating an energizing wind for those who seek it.
-Tom
I find your communications and offerings very odd .. the marketing content is okay .. but all your communications via email imply that you don’t follow your own advise. :) Last email state you won’t supply a homestudy course .. yet within the google video you offer you state you are looking for a coaching program you can offer that does not require your personalized one on one support. !
RE: Rich’s homestudy email of today. Rich, my crystal ball says you will start such a course very, very soon. Your choice of a new partner, Agora Publications, suggested as much last week. The fanfare for this last-ever one-on-one group is a great way to lead up to homestudy supervised by your successful mentorees/players. A great idea — good luck! - Elatia
Rich I am glad that you are not going to turn your coaching into a home study course.
Here are the reasons why I say this.
1. I think it will cheapen the value of what you offer. No matter good it would be it is not the same as having you interact with them for 11 intensive weeks.
2. 99% of the people who would purchase the product wouldn’t implement the things you’d tell them to anyway. Most would swear that this stuff doesn’t work. Hence, that is why wealth is being controlled by 2% of the population today. You only have a few 2 percenters and they are probably all in your coaching program.
3. Most people who would get the information would insist on doing it their way, and their way has led them to being broke, tired, frustrated and overworked.
4. Subway, Smoothie King and Papa John don’t create home study courses for people who want to buy one of their franchises. There is a considerable time and investment involved to be apart of their turnkey solutions. Turnkey is not synonymous with quick fix.
5. So many people are looking for a quick fix solution to a problem that has taken them a decade to create.
6. Most people are not wired for excellence and as Henry David Thoreau said ” Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them. ”
Few are willing to live deep and suck out the marrow of life.
So I commend you for not prostituting your coaching and turning it into some watered down home study course.
If you did, most people would probably be like sheep led to the slaughter or like a deer caught in a headlight. They would be so overwhelmed with your awesome information they simply would not do anything.
Big Ups to you Rich.

Rich,
You said
“Now I hate to be blunt, but I just DON’T have time
to create a homestudy…
I wish there was something I could do, if you have any ideas, please post them on the blog”
I suggest that you let someone or people you trust do something for you. It need not be exactly a complete home study course.
The approach I suggest is audio course. Have known “gurus” that you have worked with talk about and teach the methods they have learned from you. You could have different people cover different topics that they are experts in.
What you then need is to JV with one person to pull all this together for you, and deal with the details of putting the project together. You will find a lot of people more than willing to do that job.
HA! Rich says in his last email that he wishes there was more he could do for us poor people who didn’t (couldn’t) get in on his coaching program. Rich says he doesn’t have enough time!
Come Rich! You’re the man. Why not outsource your coaching to one of your best students? And why not do it online via the power of teleseminars and video conferencing.
Now it might not be you, but I’m sure we could learn a lot from one of your students. This way the price point could be more affordable to those desperate to get in and learn your wisdom!
My two cents.

Well, I think the answer could be in starting a program that trains coaches who are authorized and certified to use your process. After all, your significant claim is to have just such a method that passes on the ability to duplicate any process …
I have watched the video and read the Manifesto and I must say that the information is second to none.
I am one of those people who did all the stuff and have been quite successful however realised that in reality I have created myself a job.
I have been continually contacted by a number of aid organisations that I work for to train their young people and on a recent trip to Thailand to do one of these training sessions realised here is a entrepreneurial opportunity.
I have now decided to move to Thailand permanently not only to train these young people but to include them in my business.
These young people will give me over 500 hours of work a week to leverage my time and skills. Its amazing when you make a decision and set up a plan how everything starts to fall in place.
Thanks for the encouragement Rich to step out of the Morass of Mediocrity and truley become an entrepreneur. You better watch out as we will be a force to be reconed with.
Want to join me?
Quentin
Rich,
You are filling a void that has not been filled as of yet with this information. People have been trained to be workerbees and you are training people to be decent businesspeople.
I cannot, at all, believe that you can’t record some of this and turn it into a home study course … i think you would leave a lot of people very upset by not doing so - not least all these so called gurus will have to seriously raise their game to keep up, meaning that you will be doing a great service for the internet community in general.
You could become the Warren Buffett of the internet business world, and slice through the fraud of the ‘business in a box’ (penny shares) ‘miracles’ and provide lasting substance, and be the FIRST to do so from all angles. You will considerably enhance the goodwill of your metaphorical ’scheffren stock’ by doing so.
With your knowledge, do you not feel an urge or obligation to pull people away from their muppet like ’solutions’ and tricks?
yours rantingly,
from
hmm
well i must say i echo the thoughts of those just before me.
Surely, given your talents it should not be a problem - if you can Systematize, Process Map, Outsource or Outtask you have the makings of a solution to this problem.
One thing’s for sure, nobody else can do it - it’s in YOUR head.
Just read the email with your position on homestudy course. I agree with what you said up to a point. Why not record the coaching sessions onto MP3-CDS and/or DVDs?
That might be a good way to share at least some of what the elite members learned with those who either didn’t get in quickly enough or couldn’t swing the price of admission. Just my $.02 worth.
If you had engaged your brain before your mouth you would have realised from doing a simple mindmap that the results of your actions would lead you to this problem of not having eneogh time to create a homestudy.
I mean come on what did you expect…oi vay
Rich, Thank you so very much for the materials you have provided me over the past week. A one-word description would be ‘AWESOME.’ I too wish that there were some way by which the materials could be made available to a wider audience. You asked for suggestions so here goes.
Is it not possible for you to prepare three or four of your Clients to present the material under your Mentorship? That would certainly help us and be a win-win situation all round.
Kind regards
Errol (United Kingdom)
Just finished watching your video and makes a lot of sense ( made a lot of notes by the way). A big thumbs up to you for following your advice - hiring Jeff Walker to conduct your product launch and provide the neccessary expertise. Your business knowledge is second to none - perhaps Bain & Company would have hired you first if they had found out about you… anyways I’m looking forward to the start of coaching program.
It’s 2 am in the morning here in amsterdam so signing off..
Thanks Rich. Your video further clearifies some of the concepts in your previous reports and recordings. It’s really starting to sink in and I’m sure in time I’ll get my process maps, systems, etc., all worked out.
Hi Rich,
I thought I read in your writing that this is your final step in finishing off the study materials so that the coaching course can run without you?
You explained that your first group of 25 had you writing tons. Then you refined it with your next group of 40. And now you are polishing it off and setting up some system so that your coaching course can run without you.
So I think you have something definite in mind, even if it might not qualify as a home study course.
I am with you, though, on the assessment of the value of a home study course. The information is definitely of some value.
But the real value is then in the five calls with you afterward, working specifically on our businesses.
I am a dead serious business entrepreneur, unafraid to invest in my vision and plan.
I would have been first in line to sign up for your course, using Gary Ambrose’s link so I could join his mastermind group, had I not received your Manifesto and Missing Chapter too late.
I don’t know where I was during the initial hints of your coming launch. That might have been while I was fighting for my grandmother’s life, while she was being killed by over medication.
But I had just got done paying for three coaching programs the week before, including one with Mike F, and hadn’t had a chance yet to pay of the card in full so I could buy yours! (I fill it up and pay it off every month on business-building expenses and home remodeling expenses. I just flat out need to get a bigger limit.)
The content of these programs is all complementary to each other, and the JV help from each will pay for the program itself.
If it wouldn’t have been so tacky, I would have considered seeing if I could take yours first and then sign up for theirs in October.
Your program is unique and provides the fundamentals on which the skills I will gain in these other programs will build.
I really don’t think that a program without the individual help will accomplish the same thing that this one with your input can.
Perhaps you can train others with enough skill to help individuals in your place. But that is a big “perhaps”.
It will be interesting to see what you have planned.
I sent you a “help wanted” ad per the instructions in the Missing Chapter. Did you get it? And who won the free half hour with you? :-)
Blessings~
Rich,
Great stuff, I’ve heard it before and I definately need to here it again. Thanks for reminding me.
Rich,
If you don’t think a “product” would work for your program, what about an online coaching gym for a monthly subscription fee?
You would only have to premiere it with the first week’s material, articles, audio, video, etc. You could also offer a montly members-only teleconference.
Rich
I have just seen the video and it’s awesome. On one level it was a marketing effort to get new clients to your second course, however, it gave away so much new information that this really is shifting a marketing paradigm, at least for the technologically-centered Internet marketers. The two PDF documents were also fantastic, but I have two comments to make:
1) How to find your strengths
I am a professional astrologer, so for me it is easy to find anybody’s strength from their natal chart. Literally anything can be turned into a strength, even the worst astrological configurations can be turned into a strength if you wanted to. For instance, what most people think about doctors is how unselfish they are, how they devote their lives to their patients… while the truth is just reverse: if they didn’t disperse their own “bad” energies through healing the patients, they would themselves become the patients.
If you had problems in marriage, and had to get divorced, make a website and start helping others who are now in the same situation as you once were.
2) How to make people change their lives
Well, that’s a biggie. There is one John Lennon’s verse in A Day in Life, “I’d like to turn you on”… It seems that once you have enough to eat and where to sleep (comfortably), you start craving people’s attention and often wonder why aren’t they successful just as I am!? I see it in writings of so many so-called Internet Marketing Gurus, who plainly see that what they teach made themselves money, save for the fact that now everybody else sees that their customers won’t be able to make any money with it (yet, the gurus still try to sell us their secrets!)
Astrologically or not, the answer is simple: you cannot make people change themselves. Any home study course that would come from you would lack your own personality as the key ingredient, so thank you for not offering it. What I sense from the comments on this blog is still a lot of Get Rich Quick mentality — Oh, there is a new set of secrets on the block, it works, guaranteed, did you hear how he mentored Mike and Jim and…
Believe me, people won’t do what is good for them. I’ve had clients with cancer (I specialize in medical astrology and distant healing) who would live much longer if they had listened better. And it literally was a matter of life and death, not merely jumping from 1.3 million bucks to 2.3 million bucks or whatever. So, Rich, thank you very much for letting us have a glimpse on your secrets, and I wish you all the luck in the world, but let us just say that your target market is very lucrative but small in numbers, and that it really is not for everyone.
3) Grow or Die
This is so very true. For two years I’ve had an astrological TV show, once a week. You know, me in the studio and people calling by the phone, asking a question and I would then be making the horoscope in front of their eyes, answering and so on, for two hours and a half. Four years ago it was revolutionary. I finally had to stop doing that, as Jim Edwards said, in order to save my very life from the fatigue and pressure. I was doing the show, I accepted the clients during the week and so it went on for 20 months, after which I just wanted it all to stop.
And stop it did.
Just as Rich mentioned about one of his copywriters, I also did not pay for those two and a half hours on the air, during the night, every week — the TV companies just didn’t know the value of such shows, then.
Note that I was doing it all by myself, from marketing to drawing the charts at home on the computer, to accepting phone calls, to making appointments… everything… just like modern Internet marketeers do. No scalability, as Rich would say. Half a year later I had an offer to make an astrological business, a company of astrologers that would appear on TV and answer on the paid phone. (I refused it because I wanted to be at home with my family — now I know better, of course — had I made such a company then, I would have been much more with my family that I am now!)
The situation now is this: exactly one such company as was offered to me, appeared. They booked so much TV time that TV stations are overflooded now and will not accept anybody else. Once again, it is just as Rich said: once a stronger company shows in your niche, you are dead. The only way to defend your position is to grow so strong so that they don’t even come to your niche at all.
4) Grow and Let Go (if you can)
I also have the other kind of experience that Rich talked about. In 1996 I started a book publishing company (printed books, this was happening offline) and right from the very start I had people doing most of the things for me — an outside associate editor, several free-lancers working that almost had the status of true outsorcing, two secretaries to send the books to the book shops… In less than two years we published 27 books and were selling them not particularly well, but good enough to stay in business. Looking now at it, I see me making several mistakes. One of them was that I was manually doing the layout of the books, and I was also dealing with printer companies directly. It was a waste of time and now I would have had one man just for that as well.
That business had to stop both for reasons completely out of my control, but also because I did not pursue further growth of the company as vigorously as was possible. Seems my ego could not let it go away from me.
And of course, when in 2003 I started “doing the Internet”, I’ve got it all wrong. I guess everybody has to pay to learn about this new medium.
5) In the End
Thank you Rich, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You shook up the Internet world. In the process, one other thing showed up — there is only 30-50000 people that have really done well in this Internet marketing game (the number of people that downloaded you reports) and are now ready to progress from one-man operation to two or three employees. Many people can drive a car, but only so many do it professionally. That number is not going to grow up, I’m afraid, regardless of the number of home study courses offered or non offered to us.
For some reason the Beatles are coming to my mind while I’m writing this. What is the biggest difference between the Beatles and the Rolling Stones? The music? The sales? The image!?
No. The Beatles decided to stop, the Rolling Stones decided to go on. Rich, you have showed us much, but please be like the former, not like the latter rock group. In other words, if you disappear now from our radars, we shall all remember you for the progress that you have already made us make in our comprehension of business. You are now in a position of a young rock star, who made millions with his first record but is depressed because so many people have him on their minds. Do not bend your life or who you are or what you can do just because everybody is talking about you right now.
Sincerely, Dusko Savic
Actually, a coaching program has been one of the major phases, I’ve had included within my overall project… The Starlog Systems. Consisting of seven phases with upwards of nine major needed products, each different, most all needed by most every family. It’s been difficult to piece together, but is now technologically feasible, operationally functional and desparately needed to give every deserving person the major chance of a lifetime, hands down. Long story, but 30 years of my own research… 100s of years of research done by others..
ancient knowledge about to be put to use, using modern technology. Can’t do it myself. Still looking for competent, capable personnel, and I know they’re out there. My search has been stifled due to physical, geographical, and financial difficuties. but, I’m working them out.
Thank you, Will Lovsmith
Rich;
Thank you for the Manifesto, Missing Chapter & Business Building Video…your Coaching Product Launch was done very well and I learned a great deal every email…a great case study in itself.
I think you have the solution to your problem written throughout this blog. In addition to your previous experiential knowledge base.
Dan Kennedy, Ted Nicholas and others have been extremely successful at marketing their information products without “cheapening” the value…invariably it’s the results people are after.
In addition, the only real issue I see you will need to deal with is in handling the questions surrounding your concepts…I think most of those of us that have followed your launch sequence emails do not believe your information is a “quick fix”.
Simply put, you provide a viable solution that will help many people make better and more effective decisions regarding their businesses.
One or two suggestions regarding dealing with questions that will arise, are as follows:
1. Create a series of FAQ CD audios or DVD videos. At the end of each session you would have a 30 minute FAQ. You already know that you will obtain the bulk of FAQ’s throughout the 11 week program.
2. Create an FAQ blog for your new product “Rich Schefren’s Business Building Coaching Bootcamp”(from your 11 week coaching program)…to address other questions that may arise that were not answered in the CD/DVD FAQ recordings.
3. As a Bonus to your new “Rich Schefren’s Business Building Coaching Bootcamp”, you could provide one or several teleseminar certificates, entitling those whom have invested in your Coaching Bootcamp specific dates for asking questions beyond the blog and CD’s or DVD’s. For those who miss the call..have a recoirding made availablel in an MP3 download, and on and on…
Respectfully,

The Gabriel Corporation, Inc.
P.S. Sorry for not leaving any URL’s…we are also preparing several product launch sequences in several niches and would rather keep them anonymous. Thanks again Rich…I am certain you will make the right decision of providing a back end that will be of great benefit too many.
The Missing Link - many think they can join a coaching program or purchase new software and they will arrive at a new level of achievment. That can happen for a few but for most the missing link is to establish performance milestones over a defined timeline.
Rich, the idea of a “home study program” can work. However you personally prosper from success stories. The key with home study is having a system of accountability that qualifies the participant to continue in the program. With this syetem you can leverage your time.

Rich -
I wanted to thank you for everything you’ve shared with us, even those who can’t afford your program. I’m already beginning to implement some of your strategies in regards and I’m ALREADY starting to feel more organized and a little less overwhelmed. :)
As far as an alternative to a Home Study Course, what about some kind of mastermind group/membership site where you could post tutorials (audio/video) and answer questions/clarify points via e-mail, chats or some kind of message board forum? I know you value your time (as do I, now that I’ve seen your work :) ) but perhaps this is something you could do as a group with other gurus in the IM world in order to share your information.
I would love to hear you go more in depth into some of the slides you were showing in that video for example, and if you posted some kind of audio or video tutorials, you could reach a great deal of people at the same time and then have those people take questions into a message forum/mastermind center type thing.
Just a suggestion. Thanks for all you’re doing.
Sincerely,
Blair MacGregor
Skyline Source Marketing
I have thrown out all the MLM and affiliates they did not do a thing so I turned it in to a pleasure sit for me .
I have now for 2 years trying to find the right person to show me what the real way to go about setting up a real business and I have found the one now, and will try to fallow his words.
So far I have only spent $20 dollars on a e-book that turn out to try to sale me something and pissed me off!!!
I have found every thing so far for free, and some that have real content out of 136 e-books and countless app. 2000 reports, now with watching RICH SCHEFREN’S video it becomes all clear on what ( I need to do ) thank you !! Now On to build a real site !
I was on your list but it was way beyond my reach.
The free stuffs you have given are priceless, more so for people who can’t afford you.
I am going to watch your video for the second time and learn as much as possible.
This is in response to your question “I wish there was something I could do, if you have
any ideas, please post them on the blog”.
I would like to know:
When you started your business online what is the first step you took and what are the key points which got you to where you are now.
Similarly what are the people who are going through your program doing now and what would you advice them to do as the first step?
I hope this will be different for different people according to their interests, strengths and abilities.
This might strike a chord for the large number of people who are just stepping into the online world.
So you did not get into the coaching program… Rich obviously has another agenda and if he were to offer another alternative to the coaching club he will let everyone in on it with plenty of time for you to make a decision. If you really wanted it , if you really wanted to be one on the 150 you would of. With that said, as marketers we are solution orientated and we do not dwell on problems. The solution is to take the free nuggets of knowledge that he provided and extract what is resourceful for YOU. If you want this information that he is providing, go out and find it. Learn project management. Think like a project manager. There are multiple resources that are out there to tap into, including other very knowledgable consultants that will help you develop your business. It may not be the quickest fix for your business like what “Rich” is offering (not a knock Rich-You know what I am talkin’ bout). Follow Perry Marshall, Follow Harlan Kilstien, Follow Dan Kennedy. These guys are pro’s and if you are willing to pony up the doe they will teach you how to build your own 7 figure leveraged business. Remember if there is a will there is a way. Do not be lazy, get educated. That is how Rich became “Rich”. I am going to leave you with a question to ask yourself - Who taught Rich before there was a Rich?
Use your current coaching class to develop the rudiments for a home study syllabus. Even though many questions may be asked- there are only so many questions- Then at the end of each section, create a FAQ list. If you record all this, you can use it as the outline for a home study course you can have someone else create for you…maybe for the ‘cost’ of giving them the material! You’ll have editorial control and ultimate ownership of the final product for no out-of-pocket cost, and no great drain on your time. Make sure to include a ‘rewrite to my satisfaction’ clause in your contract. With a valuable enough product this can work- People requesting get their home study, you get to market it, Your reputation is enhanced & you reach more people, and the writer is satisfied ( and hopefully learns and uses the material and gives a testimonial)…or maybe if negotiation stalls you can offer the writer the right to market the finished product (maybe a limited number of copies, but why?) and help him set up to do it well.
Rich
Great stuff! I am definitely interested in more of the resources you use. Please post more of them.
Hi Everyone,
The opportunist in me is thinking that I should create a Home Study for those that really want it. But really, although it is one of my strength (I used to do this for a living as a consultant for Deloitte Consulting), it is not part of the vision I have for my business. My business strength is in AdSense Information Publishing so that’s what my focus is going to be. I have already worked out a plan to build scale and plan to grow my business by 1200% by the end of next year. So, to help you all out, I recommend that you go to your book store and buy the following books by Crisp (courseilt.com):
Successful Strategic Planning (get this first)
Process Improvement
Project Management
I highly recommend Crisp books cause it is practical. If you want to understand why things are done a certain way, get other books on the subject.
Good luck to all of you.
Hi Rich,
Thanks again for giving me a good slap in the face. I should have known better. I hope to keep you updated on the growth of my business and attending your systemized coaching program once it is released. I’m just sorry I won’t be able to thank you personally.
Regards,
Dax Cheng
Here’s a possible solution…
Start hiring some consultants away from Anderson. You said their training is top notch.
Get about $750,000 revenue for each one (minus any affiliate commission, etc.)
Hire as many as you can keep busy. SCALABILITY! :-)
Rich, there’s too many people who need your guidance for you to just walk away from it with a clean conscience.
I’m going to give you an important martial arts lesson. When you study a martial art system you never really know the system until you do this one thing.
You said the system is so “dialed” in that it doesn’t need you to babysit it anymore. What you need to do is put that system in a step by step method for anyone to follow. Make that your core cirriculum. You already have 2 of hte books written!
Then you have your 150 super elite of the most elite in the entire elite world TEACH the cirriculum that they just learned from you. Let them pass on your knowledge.
You can even have these super duper elite people monitor a mastermind type of forum to teach, answer questions, conference, etc.
That’s the lesson in the arts. You can never really learn the art until you teach it. Only then do you have a full grasp over it.
I train in the martial arts and I’m not learning from the founder of the system. I’m learning from an instructor who was trained by the founder and made the system his own. The student is supposed to surpass the teacher so the art doesn’t die.
If you’re as good as you say you are then you’ll make your students surpass you… and then there are 150 Rich’s.
– Randy
Well said Randy! Rich Leverage your strengths… don’t walk away from them.
Hi Rich,
So, people bugging you for a homestudy and you need to focus on your elite members.
Thought about either audio recording or video recording your sessions with your elite members and then marketing those out to the group.
Just a thought!
Dear Rich, I’m stuck in my 9-5 job. Can’t wait to use your strategy to kick start my own business.
Hello Rich…
Ever since you came out with the Manifesto, I’ve been visiting your blog most of the time and downloaded the Missing Link and the Resources files.
I’ve tried to watch your video but my connection is slow… I’ve even tried to download it to watch at my own leisure…
Well, if people are bugging you for a homestudy, that means they really BELIEVE in what you say.
You should be proud!
Rich,
Great stuff in the video. One solution to the question in your email (how to scale your coaching program out as a product) is as follows:
1) Complete the coaching program as planned to get your information and presentation sharpened.
2) Create a multimedia product (video, audio, text, tools, etc.)
3) Recruit participants from the coaching program and from elsewhere to deliver the 1:1 attention that is needed along with the material in the product.
Richard
Rich, listening to you was like watching someone weave an intricate tapestry, only you use words instead of thread. Impressive.
Although I’m open to the possibility, I’m not sure if I fit in with whatever you eventually offer to online entrepreneurs.
I’m a writer with a very focused long term vision… to build communities of faith around an infrastructure of ideas that promote financial and spiritual freedom. The traditional church will want to destroy me because of the book I’m now writing, “The REAL New Testament”, but this will also propel me into national exposure and dialogue. Unlike Dan Brown’s “Da Vinci Code” I talk about a real religious conspiracy, not one that’s concocted from a few half-truths.
I’m a former ISP and I fully understand what you talked about. As an ISP I worked 7 days a week for 7 years, wearing 20 hats and sometimes working three days straight, just to meet deadlines or fix technical problems. You touched on some of the Twelve Principles of Prosperity I discuss in my book, “$ecret$”.
I look forward to hearing what you will offer.

Ive been reading all your material you send, most of it seems great. but you hype everything up and push it more than it needs to be, I guess many like too hear all the marketing hype. Its like one big planned out story that is obvious. I just like the facts not all the hype.
How you can develop a homestudy program without taking any time away from your elite members, your family or other pursuits. You will not need to expend any additional energy nor will you need to task additional resources. When you are done you will provide thousands with the help they are seeking and help others expeand byond themselves. You can only win, win, win. Interested?
Alan Becthold established his Hemingways group about a year or so ago. During the process of that he recorded and videotaped this mentoring group. Raw, uncut. The original group paid $2500 or so for the face to face and he took advance orders for the release of the home study course for about $900. The material is mind numbing boring stuff. Iam only glad I didn’t pay to attend the live group. Of the many hours of material I was able to distill some basic direction and guidence but 80% was nothing but self promotion. He even states that he produced the course to put some money in his pockets.
You could use this same strategy since you are already conducting the 11 week program. granted these are indiviual sessions but you can record them all and pick one for each element of your system. I do not recommend producing raw material but you could fine tune them some without going the full production route, have the audio transcribed maybe adding some commentary binding it in acomb with an inexpensive ehavyweight gloss cover and back and package it with the audio. I would surely be interested in that. To add value to a pacakge like that maybe you could encourage some of your clients that have sat under your trainning can offer additional training material to fill out the offering. To take it another step you can “Certify” several of your elite members to offer a streamlined mentorship along with the course. There you go.
It’s so simple really.
You’ve already trained a select few in your methods. These men and women should now become the teachers for the masses who want to learn your methods.
Scalabilty in action!

Congratulations Rich - You Really Deserve It
As homework for your elite coaching group they should write a summary of each lesson after it is done, pick the best one and post them for the masses.
This video is a wake up call and a slap in the face if ever there was one.
I’d like to participate in a coaching program asap and hope you’ll contact me.
Rich, I love the cool Org chart with “you” in every box! So True.

Hi Rich,
Thanks a million for the precious and practical information.
A possible way to create a home study progrramme - without you being there - is maybe get your star coachees who have taken your concepts to the moon, to create it for you. All you have to do is give it the final polish.
Just an idea.
Thanks again Rich.
P.S. Me thinks you’ve started something that’ll be COLOSSAL -as only a true marketing genius can.
Rich, you have opened my eyes. I have been doing my “job” for years now, without reaching the success levels I wanted to achieve.
Your Manifesto and now your Video already have helped to clear my vision and see where I should be going. I thank you for that.
You are currently the main name on everyones lips. To not do more now would, I think, be a little damaging to your current status and that would be a shame. You quite obviously are a genuine guru’s guru.
I think you’ve already outlined the method to write a course in your manifesto. You can do it by outsourcing to some of the other business marketers you have trained. I think the value of the course is worth far more than the cost of outsourcing.
You will have some awareness of the questions people will be asking and could use a forum to support people on the course. You could use your trainees as guest speakers at particular times for people to ask their most pressing questions.
This idea could extend to the odd special appearance by yourself when you have the time. Can you imagine the kind of response that would get?
Just a few ideas. Hope they might be useful.
Wow, have you hit the nail on the head. I’ve only been “online” exploring the idea of a business for the length of this year - and I can already see it all. And you are RIGHT (per your e-mail) that this shouldn’t be a home study course - good grief, a coached program makes so much more sense!! Human nature!!
…can’t get the video to work.
Tried to down load the video through Google…doesn’t work - tied up my computer for hours and stil didn’t work…
Help,
Bob
I was unable to access
Google’s video
Rich,
Great video…thanks for sharing it with us. Where can we get the entire powerpoint presentation?
Thanks,
Scott….
It would be great if we could get a “table of contents” or course outline of what you are giving your coaching group. That way, even if we can’t get a chance to join due to your limited time (which is fair and understandable), we can at least go out and learn a fraction of what you know, by using this course outline to know which books to get on amazon.com, what people to talk to, and so on. In other words, rather than nothing at all, we can at least go teach ourselves using your framework as a guide. Just a 2 page outline would be great :)
Hi Rich
I loved your presentation. It reflects what Chet Holmes says in his Business Growth Masters series but very much more related to the Internet business world.
As an ex-IT project director and Deming devotee (I processed mapped my company using his principles) I agree 100% with what you said and I find that when I coach people I’m forever telling them about true outsourcing. That one element could help so many people!
thanks for all the fantastic info richard, i’ve devoured all the material you’ve so kindly made available.
you’ve TOTALLY changed my mental approach to my burgeoning internet business.
missing out on your coaching club is one of my biggest regrets EVER.
however, i’m eagerly looking forward to your next offering. please could you make the call on monday any earlier?
9pm your time is 2am over here in the uk. not that it will stop me being on the call but it would make it that much easier.
i was sure you were pulling our legs with that email about the homestudy course last night.
after i read it i was finally able to go to bed in peace having waited most of the day for word from you (very unproductive time, i know).
you can see my email address richard, please, please let me know if anyone drops out of your coaching club, i’d pay in full at the drop of a hat.
God richly bless you!
I loved both your Manifesto and this presentation. For me, they re-iterated some principles that I drifted away from with my last project. Fortunately, I’m getting back on track for my next one and your speech here gave me the green light.
Thanks, Kevin
Hi Rich
First of all I want to thank you so much for all this valuable information you’re posting here!
I just registered for your conference call on July 24th, but found out that there is only access by phone. Since I reside outside the U.S., will there be any recordings of this teleconference?
Rich, I agree with Mathias. As usual the Teleconference is only US friendly.
Hi Rich,
Thanks for sharing some of your amazing knowledge and insights. Your manifesto has certainly given me food for thought. The conference call sounds very exciting and I have registered for it but any chance of an earlier time or a recording for us poor Europeans?!
Hi Rich,
I’m extremly excited about your content - it’s new on the one hand and it confirms what I’ve learned from Michael Gerber but never applied to my business.
I have a ton of ideas on how to start this way, but I’m hesitant to start without being in the coaching process yet.
I can’t wait to start the coaching - however - I’m still not sure wether I’m in or not.
I miss a clear message about my status - could that be arranged, please?
Thanks a lot!
warmly
Tom
Wonderful content Rich,, thanks!
I moved this post from the “Strategies” section. I don’t know where to post it!

Hi Rich!
I just read the email you sent out about not having a home study course because you don’t have time to create it or to answer questions. You mentioned that we leave ideas here on the blog if we had any so here goes:
1. Do you have understudy people who can do this kind of work for you?
2. Could some people who want your services substitute some of the costs involved in your personal business coaching in return for serving as people who can field questions from course members (If you had a course).
3. Farm out the course. My sister is a technical writer and does this sort of thing for a living so I know it can be farmed out.
I can come up with more solutions for broadcasting your basic business builder course (BBB -?).
You the Man! You can get this done so others who have less money can afford your training and techniques.
Let’s Roll It Out!

YO!
Your RSS Feed does not work!
Hmmmmm, What system has broken down here?
Hey Rich,
You’ve produced the most valuable free reports in the history of internet marketing with your Manifesto’s…
I think you should offer the coaching MINUS the 1 on 1… Or, you replicate your coaching process with others and get them to coach…
Keep up the great work!
Matt
P.S. I really enjoyed our talks back at the Carlton event
This will be a little blunt, but… if you can only offer this course one on one with you being the “one”, then you are violating the principles that you are trying to teach. You have become self employed again; your income is limited to the hours you work. Your excuses that you can’t take the time to “put it in the can” and deliver it unless you are doing it personally are just excuses, as you have repeatedly taught others. You may need to do a few more one on one programs before you can break free a little … this is getting silly, just refer to your own material on how to do this!
Whenever I try to download the video on this site I get the following error: The Video is currently not available. Please try again.
What is going on is the server too busy?
Hi Rich
Hire a leading instructional designer to orchestrate the production of the home study as a “top of the line”, audio-visual, e-learning product featuring the contributions of a documentary film specialist to produce edited interactions between you and a cross-section of those in your next coaching group. May cost several hundred thousand but the end product could earn several million, and conceivably a great deal more.
To get an indication of returns ask your mail list for the amount they would be prepared to pay for this product: e.g. $500, $1,000, $1,500, >$2,000.
The production specialists may even be on your mail list or known to those on your list. This could make is easier to persuade them to do it on a reduced fee and commission basis.
Perhaps a cross-section of those from your coaching groups could be contacted on a fee for service basis to respond to queries from purchasers of this product. This facility could be integrated into the product.
Guess this would be the ultimate expression of you practicing what you preach.
Ciao

Thank you for sharing.
Hi Rich:
Here’s a clue:
We share similar tatstes in authors ;-)
THE SOLUTION is akin to Atlas Shrugged…look for the right quote and your half way there.
But you must act before noon tomorrow. I’m sure you know why. And you can likely guess what happens next.
See you there.

I am Impressed, Your Very Good with your mouth, thanx for the content.
I really enjoyed watching that video. You showed some great advice and the strategies are somewhat unbelieveable. I’ve learned a lot from your video Rich. It was well worth watching.

Rich:
Thanks for all the great information. I am just starting out on the Internet and have been haphazardly jumping from one product to the next. Thanks for the perspective. Now I am looking at it from a long term business perspective in an area I like.
Dave
I fully agree with the comment that it gets better and better. However, I am in India and would like to have similar conference arranged. I am willing to help. Pricing can be discussed. It is not necessary that Rich has to come. He can send one of his students. ;-)
Rich You are one of the BEST LISTENERS I have ever heard on one of these Teleseminars.
I used to work for the great Larry Wilson of Wilson Learning Fame and as an instructor one of the Things that we did was give people a one half day on Listening as part of the great sales training program Larry provided.
You have it!!!
I have a “Dennisism” “Did you ever see a Sales person Listen himself out of a sale?”
You masterfully interviewed Jim Edwards, who in and of himself was dadgummed good.
Thank you for the high level of excellance you set.
You must have an environment where people want and do excell.
Thanks for listening,

Thank you for all your gifts. You are a wonderful teacher and have a way to make sharp distinctions that ring true and can allow a person to reorder his business and time oriented lifestyle.
Hi Rich,
I am excited to get started in your 12 month program. I am just starting out my online business and I think the timing is great that our paths crossed. From the little I have seen about you and your strategies, I think you are amazing and I look foward to putting my ideas and your strategies / advise to work together. I can see it happening for me. Can’t wait to get started. Thank You
Hello Rich:
As a fumbling entrepreneur wanna be, I found your presentation to be the most informitive I’ve ever watched by a far stretch. As you stated about your own beginnings, I’ve spent the last 2 years making one buy after another and not taking the time to learn the atributes of what I invested in, only to go back to the supper internet looking for more. Because of that I’ve run my credit cards almost to their limits and still have made no money. Your presentation brought a large number of ideas and concepts, that have been floating around in my head as nebulous blobs for a long time, into focus. I wish I could aford to join your mentor program but because of the credit cards being almost tapped, I can’t afford your services. I live on a pention which bearly allows me to pay the miniums on the CCs. Knowing this from the begining, and after listening for the first 15 minutes, I developed a plan. First I started the presentation over. Then as I sat and listened from the beginning, I listened for the keywords and concepts, when you would use one, I’d stop the play back, go to another browser and do a google for that keyword or concept. This I also took some notes along the way. I ended up with about 20 tabs open and about 25 pages of notes, by the end of your presentation. I’ve also book marked the web page so that I might go back and listen to it again and again. I can only pray that you don’t take the page down before I get the chance to listen to it at least 10 more times and harvest the other 90 or so concepts that I didn’t get on the first pass. You have opened my eyes and I don’t know if I will ever be able to say thankyou enough.
My dear Rich Schefren.
Thanks for your information.
I downloaded Three interviews, Filsaime, Edwards, Johnson and I apreciated if you can send the others on your Interview Series.
I am reading the document and hearing the mp3 and I am learning booth, internet business principes and coloquial English.
If you have the text on your VIDEO BUSINESS PRESENTATION.
How do I access the Forum?
I have just received your email Sept 1 saying that the second video is available for.

Hi! Rich Schefren
I would like to say that I could not sleep yesterday, due to the excitement after watching you speach and reading TheFinalChapter and the manifesto it was a kick!
I think you are great! I have already made my process Plan for my new business, and this time it won’t be my JOb but my Business ;-).

F***ing brilliant.
Although some of us can not afford Mr Rich’s coaching program, with all the free information he’s so kindly given everyone over these past couple of months we should all be able to take our business to the next level!
I for one am very greatful.
Thanks!

Cool
A lot of the material and ideas I was already familiar with from studying Kiyosaki and Brian Tracy, also a book called the e-myth which talks about systems. It’s great to see more detail and some steps, I’ve been thinking for a long time that I need to learn how to build these systems to be efficient and create a business that runs without me.
Although my goal is not to sell products, it is to build very popular Websites that earn money through contextual and other advertising forms. It seems that most of the concepts mentioned could also be applied to this, as opposed to product creation, but I was wondering if the coaching would be as effective for this kind of business.
The system approach has now got me thinking out-of-the-box for long term. You’ve hit the nail right on the head. Another Grand Slam! Thanks
Brilliant! You give away a ton of free information so fledgling business owners (like me) can develop successful business systems. You don’t ask us to buy your book or pay for your services because you know eventually; we’ll grow to a level where we need your coaching services. And why wouldn’t an entrepreneur who owes his initial success to a Rich Schefren then trust him to get to the next level? You’re like a farmer investing in a crop for future profits but your crop is potential customers. I haven’t found anyone else with the intelligence or the intestinal fortitude to do what you’re doing. I want to be on your team!
Dear Mr. Richard Schefren,
It is truly an honor to enter into your life as an eager and receptive student and fan. Your systematic approach to business is truly the only way for
success with direct measurable results. I have a vast network of internet marketers and will definitely be recommending you to those with whom I work most closely. I would really appreciate your take on strategically increasing my sales with the business that I am currently promoting. I have included my website and email contact information. Thanks a billion and God bless you.
Rich,
I have a question for you. In your e-book on Attention… you mentioned quite prominently how a great percentage of successful marketing people have ADD. I found that interesting — and in fact, that is how I found “you” in the first place. A friend recommended you because I have ADD and we have that in common. What I don’t get though — is HOW did that relate to the rest of the book on attention. It seems you threw that information out there… but didn’t go anywhere with it. I know it’s sometimes a good thing — sometimes not… but I was looking forward to hearing SOMETHING that related to the ADD information — and was then disappointed by your having put that out there — but not expanded on it in any way. So…? Is there more? And by that I mean “more” related to ADD and marketing…?
I am a direct mail copywriting student — and am becoming quite discerning with regard to which materials I read — and ones I simply delete. I really WANT your reference to Attention Deficit Disorder to GO SOMEWHERE…. Does it?
Thanks,
Toni A. Lutes
Well, I cant agree more.
